Testing the New Zoom H6 Essential!

all righty so in this video I'm going to be testing out the new uh H6 essential from Zoom um this is the 6 channel 32-bit audio recorder now I don't have any accessories for it right now it's just 3/4 no wind muff or anything like that and we're going to be testing it outside in the woods behind my house so yeah this is what it sounds like handheld and is there any handling noise I thought I heard some earlier when I was just testing it out but does it uh make any sounds or anything like that if I'm moving around a bunch I know for sure that if I talk straight into it like this um plosives get picked up really hard so anyway this is how it sounds like and we're going to get some other types of sounds maybe some leaves wrestling stuff like that so let's test it [Music] out for [Music] all right so one of the things that I'm noticing is that it really does not like any sort of wind um which makes sense since there's no shielding or muff or anything like that on this microphone now this recorder comes with this microphone now most of the time you probably aren't going to use it um at least for talking videos like this I'm probably going to just use your shotgun microphone um but these included microphones do sound really good um when there's no wind and when it's not super close to your face so anyway this is what it sounds like um I think we're just going to keep testing and let me know if you have any other questions um
