Testing Seafoam on a Surging Lawn Mower Engine.

hello everyone i hope everybody's doing good uh this is the mower i had the issue with the primer not working and i did the fix on that and the reason why that happened was because it had like a little bit of a surge i wanted to get the surge out of it and it turned out that it still ran the same but it wasn't prime and that was another story that was another video so um what i'm going to do today is i'm going to do a before and after uh what i did was i went and i bought some seafoam and uh turning wrenches 85 just did a video previously and what happened with him was he he forgot he put seafoam in the gas tank and he was going to do a carb cleaning video and then after he started the mower it was running horrible then all of a sudden it started clearing up and what i want to do now is give it a start i want to start it up right now and i don't know if you'll be able to pinpoint it on the video of the surge and i'm going to run it right now and then i'm going to put some sea foam in it and then try it again and see how it turns out so right now we're going to just start it up and let it run i know it's always hard to uh realize how something runs on video i'm gonna bring the camera closer overview okay so i don't know if you heard it surging on the video but you know i went out and bought the can of the uh seafoam that you add into the gas tank now i read the directions on it and they they said you can't you can't put too much in but i figured on a small gas tank what i did was i took this uh cap from a breaks great clean can and i usually just i'm gonna fill the uh the cap up twice and dump it in there and i think that should be enough but like i said they said you can't you know overfill where it would be dangerous to the engine now another thing i read on the can was you could use it in your oil crankcase but me i'm dead against stuff like that so that's just my opinion i mean if it works for you guys fine but um i'm not a fan of dumping anything like this into the crankcase so i'll use it in the uh gas tank no problem so i'm gonna get set up and then we're gonna dump two two shots of it into the uh gas tank and let it run and see see if it clears up so random wrenches uh commented on it dude he likes the stuff i know pate i know jason really likes this stuff so let's see what happens with this one i'm pretty sure it's the um probably main jet because i there's a certain way you gotta clean them out and i really didn't do it that way just gonna dump two i think it's got a little over a half a tank three quarters of a tank of gas it has in it and like i said you can't you can't put too much in it it's not gonna hurt anytime so we'll give this a shot and see what happens that would be great if it works i'm still going to do you know if something needs a carburetor cleaning i'm still going to take the carburetor off and physically clean it but i always put like a couple of shots of this in after i'm done cleaning i'll see how it runs before you know after the cleaning and if it runs whether it runs good or it doesn't run good i'm still going to put a couple of shots in this end into the tank i guess i'll just slosh it around the liver or something so i'm just gonna i'm gonna let it run and bring you back it sounds like it's clearing up son so just before the last 10 seconds of the video of you hearing and hearing it run i threw another cap fall in and i shook tank up a little bit and i started up and it it really seems to be a lot better you know it i guess if i keep running it it'll probably just clear up all together um seafoam is not paying me to do this i mean i'm i'm just trying different products to help me and to help you guys out i seriously think this stuff is pretty good from what i've seen on videos like i told you before and trying it myself so i highly um suggest using it it's like 10 bucks for that can i showed you which is not bad i mean you're not you're if you're working on lawn mowers you you'll uh if you work on a lot of lawn mowers yes you'll be going through a lot of it but all right i hope this helps somebody out out and thanks for watching and i'll see you all on the next one
