He's getting eaten alive in the comments. $1700US for a 3600 watt-hour battery. Sure, it'll power all your expensive toys, for about an hour.

Ah I know what he uses these fori saw its a trend recently, ones to pump smoke into his car and the other is to power his XXXL vibrating dildo as he chokes in his car hey whatever floats your boat with the amount of alcohol he drinks I'm sure he has a hard time anyways.....man fetishes are getting weirder these days πŸ˜‚

Shit aside he's just reviewing LITERALLY anything he can get his hands on these days next Well have one about a mouse trap or a fucking dish cloth of all things he's gonna need that dishcloth to clean up the kess that he is.

After years and years of trying unsuccessfully to get Honda to sponsor him. Sad. 😏

It is a battery with an inverter. Here is the big quesiton: before one starts to plug 110 Volt electronics into it, is the AC output a true sine wave or modified sine wave?

What is the charging time after 75 percent depth of discharge?

This guy makes the same thing for half the price. Is only half the price worth making it? I don't know. If your workmanship is careful, and rivals china made shit, and you're electricity-minded, then sure .

today's video is made possible by our friends at ecoflow welcome back friends of the shop in today's video we're going to be doing a head-to-head comparison with a modern lithium solar generator and see how that stacks up with a traditional gas what we learned from this extreme torture test and the loads that i'm going to put on these today is going to determine which one gets the place of honor for my emergency backup power option let's take a quick look at the features and how these two compare this is not a perfect comparison but this is a perfect comparison for me because this could potentially be a replacement for this that has some serious drawbacks i wanted to set this up here because most people are familiar with the 2000 i and the size of it so you can roughly see what we have going on now a solar generator maybe you haven't heard of this before is essentially a lithium battery with it's an all-in-one unit that provides is basically a power solution that is silent renewable as well as something that you can charge with solar and wind coming up more on that so how what we have here of course on the right here on the honda we've got two outlets and i believe that these are 13 yeah 13 amps here we have two full outlets actually four right there and these are a full 20 amp and this one here is a 30 amp this one is 2000 kw this one is 3600 kw we've got usb support on here we've got fast chargers so four the standard usb 2 usbc at 100 watt on the front i mean that basically makes up the whole thing so similar in that aspect but a lot more options especially for modern electronics which seems to be you know the main thing that we're trying to keep charged these days on the right side of the ecoflow pro we have our power supply access panels and this gives us about every possible combination from mini anderson we've got cigarette lighter we've got remote displays you could just about figure out how to power anything right there here is one of the most interesting part of it part of it this is an ev plug me what that means is that you can pull up to any ev charging station put this in and fast charge your unit on the road on the back of the ecoflow pro we have three access panels now this top panel is how we put power into the unit how we charge it so we have a couple options here we can go in with the solar so we can go up to 1200 watts of solar at 12 amp max and then we have a toggle here for the fast or the slow charge on the left side we have the exhaust grate and two big cooling fans two additional features of note that i like are the extended handle now this is very similar to what you'd have with a like a piece of luggage suitcase that this pulls out now if you had this in a house and you kept it in a closet or something you know you don't have to pick it up move it around anyone can pull this handle out and freely roll it around the other option or the other thing that i like is this tabletop with the silicone bezel this flat top with the silicone bezel is very nice for all those little devices you're going to be charging primarily phones gps's laptops you have a place you can sit them here and they're safe the eco flow weighs about 100 pounds but i would consider this to be one person portable for sure now if you can't lift a hundred pounds this handle can be pulled out and it can be easily managed just like a roller cart a great way to test your generated capacity is with your rv we got some huge power draws right we got microwaves we've got air conditioners most battery systems on rvs are not you can't do that with them they just don't have enough let's start with the honda and start start with air conditioner and see how it does and if we can pop the circuit the power cord coming out of our rv has a 30 amp plug and that's the deal with the ac now there's an adapter because most times you don't have access to a 30 amp plug this is only 13.3 i don't know how well it's gonna do but we'll give it a shot let's step inside here and we'll turn our ac unit on [Music] with everything on the camper the honda is able to keep up with it it's been running about 15 minutes but there's a huge downside the noise it's going to a campground with other people around do you want to listen to this and what if you do this times 10 what if everyone has one it's miserable people always say well just turn on the eco throttle aren't those honda generators really quiet well they're quiet when they're not under load but when they're running under load they're running almost full throttle and they're noisy the honda only had 13 amp plugs and we have to use this adapter right ecoflow has two 20 amp plugs but better yet we've got a 30 ampere here now 30 ampere is what the arctic fox camper wants that's its native plug right there so we can go right in that's gonna be standard with your rvs and i've got all the everything turned back on so we'll arm it turn it on and see what it'll power you just heard the air conditioner turn on fans are coming on the side there and we are up and running we've been going here for about five minutes or so we're at 98 percent no problem this is cool 1320 watts is what the camper is drawing right now as if the camper wasn't enough what about charging two big lithium e-bike batteries we are about 10 minutes in with the camper ac and both e-bikes charging we're at 13 28 watts this power cord goes to the snow bike trailer i've got all the lights on 60 000 btu furnace charging a whole bunch of batteries amplifier stereo system and battery charger going so that's pretty good load with the camper tube e-bikes and the snow bike trailer all plugged in we've been running under load for about 15 minutes and we're at 92 percent this is asking too much this is generator abuse right here this is a 1500 watt heater we have uh what we still fit underneath the category under the 3600 with this according to the math we got it on max high heat high fan shall we take it a step further how about a tablet usbc and an iphone that's a lot of power this is the future right here no dongles no adapters if i were to try to run all this stuff with that 2000 i'd be listening to the screaming engine i'd have adapters plugs this really is this really is a lot better ecoflow also offers a free app you can download in the ios or android that gives you just basically a remote control for it you can see exactly what's going on so if you had this tucked away underneath the bed in your van and you just wanted to check the status it's going to give you your input your output how much power is coming in power going out you can customize it you can set timers i uploaded it on my phone and it made it up instantly zero issues it was very seamless and finally the coup de gras or for me anyway dual charging this is what differentiates this from all of my other solar generators all the other ones you either have to be charging or using it you cannot do both with the eco flow you can do both i can plug this into the wall now i'm gaining ground not only am i running my unit i'm also charging the battery let's try its built-in fast charger and see how long that takes toggle it to fast charge on the back okay completely flat all right so we'll plug this in and we'll start the timer and looks like we are fast charging all right that's a hour and a half and we're at 51 so a little bit off from what was stated but three hours to recharge it i guess we could assume from flat to completely full is that's pretty that's pretty impressive because that's a big battery in there the obvious question is if you could have only one what would you choose would you choose the gas generator or would you go with a solar generator it depends it's not that easy the gas generator the benefits are is its power on demand immediately if you want it right now all you got to do is put some gas in it and you're good to go also if you need to run it in an emergency where you're running it at night you don't have the ability to gather power with solar that's an option that you're just not going to get from anything else that's the nice thing about the gas the downside is the maintenance and the noise that's the biggest problem i have been to campgrounds where i've had to leave because people were so discourteous running generators to run their ac i mean really what's the point for me if i'm going to get out of the craziness of the city and i want to get out and i want to be in peace and quiet and enjoy my family and enjoy a weekend camping or fishing i don't want to listen to a generator i don't know how how so many people can do it it's just maybe they're just used to all the noise but for me i can't handle it so for that i have taken that with me so many times and not used it because i just didn't want to be discourteous to my neighbors i just didn't want to deal with it and as quiet as the hondas are they're still they're still super noisy this here very different right completely quiet it's got almost pretty close to two times the capacity of the honda bluetooth ability to monitor lots of different options but the quietness of it and just the ease of use and all of the modern interface of it just make it to me i mean it's it's just it brings us into the future for me if i had to choose only one it would be a tough call but i think i would go with the solar generator i just like the quietness of it that's not even talking about the ability to recharge itself in any location now if you don't have gas or can't get gas or you can't store gas that is nothing but a boat anchor there's no way to use it without gas and you can't make gas yourself nobody can i mean maybe one in a million this on the other hand we got several options we could charge this as we go with our car with a 12 volt adapter we can lay out up to 1200 watts of power we can go 1200 watts of power into this thing that's going to be you'd be able to run this whole camper and probably charge the battery and not lose ground with that there are some options there's some rumors from eco flow they're saying that they're going to do a wind turbine so i'm really excited for that i think i think that this technology is very exciting it's cutting edge and it just solves so many problems because the future in the the way that we live power is is essential i mean if you have any questions about that just move a modern family into a 50s house and you'll realize very quickly that there's not enough power outlets just take a look at your desk behind your computer right we have so many power i mean just for me just for to go anywhere part of my 80s edc now is a power brick i need to charge dps's my phone is essential to me i even strap one on my dirt bike when i go i have to have power so power is essential with this unit what appeals to me so much more than the traditional ones like in my van i wanted lithium and so what i did is i did it the old school i bought a lithium battery i did all the wiring the learning curve is huge and if you make one mistake you know how dangerous that lithium is if it's not handled properly it's like a cage line it's so powerful you can destroy all of your hard work and be out thousands of dollars this is plug and play you know professional homeowners they don't know about lithium and electronics and advanced electrical work so this is a great feature for us and for it to be so portable to be able to take it camping to be able to take it tailgating wherever you have so much power all you're going to need for a day you can charge up everyone's stuff computers phones battery chargers you name it everything but the awesome part about this is you can expand on it if you will live in an apartment i mean what did we learn from texas what do we learn from all of the continuing power outages you've got to have backup you've got to be able to have something in your house that's going to power the refrigerator the essentials maybe even a well pump and that's what's so cool about this system you can start with this and then you can build it you can scale it you can literally add five additional units to this that are similar in case but they're battery only and if you add three that's 10 kw that's enough emergency power to run your house for a normal family for three days if you're careful that's incredible to be able to have a unit that you can wheel out of the park out of the closet in an apartment uh in a trailer it doesn't make any difference i mean you folks that live in the city you can't you can't start a gas generator in the city i mean how what if you want to be stealth what if you want to be quiet you don't want to draw attention to yourself how much better is this in a screaming engine running i mean just the applications are limitless if you'd like to get some more information on the eco flow solar generators my particular one here is the delta five eco flow crowd sourced these and it's fully funded and this is a full production unit this isn't a prototype if you go on their site and i'll put a link down below in the subject heading where you can go there and get more data and check out the other models there's some smaller units as well if you don't need something quite so big all that will be there if you make that order and you get involved on that initial crowd funding there's going to be some savings on that for the early adopters i do believe these will ship if you order right away these will ship in the fall so it is in place it is funded and full this is a full projection unit and they will be going out so wonderful unit thanks to ecoflow for supporting our channel thanks for supporting this video and for making a product that is very exciting i can't wait to get the solar panels plugged into this and the wind generator and see what it can really do but we'll hopefully we'll have some more of that on the future thanks for watching please keep us in your prayers may god bless your families don't forget to click the thumbs up and like these videos it helps us and we appreciate the support you
