Testing Filipino Fast Food at Mall of Asia | Manila Philippines

[Music] [Applause] [Music] good morning from the Mall of Asia I've just arrived and I am already overwhelmed but I have a mission because if I would just be walking around aimlessly all day riding rides going to stores spending too much money so my goal today is to try some of the most popular fast food here in the Philippines I've been getting constant messages saying you need to try jolly bees you need to try child King me try all these different places so I'm going to go so I'm gonna try three different fast-food restaurants today all around Mall of Asia this place is insanely big let's go try a little traditional Filipino fast-food 200,000 people visit the Mall of Asia on a daily basis there's an ice skating rink full bowling alley and tons of fast food options so as per usual I asked a local friend to help me navigate this mission just met up with our local connecting a fast food and we're gonna try three the most popular fast-food spots gonna be professor saucepan Ajay vs rangpur starting as an ice cream parlor in Kazon city in 1975 Jollibee is now probably the biggest fast-food chain most Americans have never heard of [Music] interesting kind of mani [Music] jeez [Music] man easy [Applause] the outside is delicious cross the line [Music] strawberry jelly nice little hot dogs and they're amazing my child right like a deep-fried Thanksgiving dinner I know delicious my first fast-food experience here at jollibee close next stop right next door choking is actually a subsidiary of jollibee that's being purchased in 2000 they focus on a Chinese inspired menu of noodle soups dim sums and rice bowls with toppings stop shop out put inside chocolate I've never had this before we will [Music] what the magic Filipino sauce special for peanuts soy sauce engineers vinegar sauce cumin seed crunch on the outside of these back boys break it off the test what's the best thing you are too quiet at this man really outside alright number three just finish the chalking and right next door this place is the busiest of the three see you in a couple of minutes our third spot is Hmong on a South a barbecue theme joint which started in Iloilo City in 2003 interesting enough they're also owned by jollibee this from a ball that's one of the problems that's like their famous the Filipino sauce is usual - fast-food places I've seen but actually siliceous very very well seasoned oil is definitely all of the payouts this seems like it's just really chicken surprise regularly Johnny be a okay what's gonna be producer all right tell me what's in here okay Mitch Mitch okay so the reason why it's Shelly jackfruit ube what is that pace yeah it's like the jam / jam movie ice cream black beans white beans leche flan banana suit bananas stop yoga butt ends milk right very light purple desert because uh because of the bin because the first haha I've ever had chewy tapioca balls are gummy like a jelly bean the gelatin in there is like jello can then smell to get a little bit of creaminess everyone this about this is much better I was not looking for it seemed a little bit too sweet to stay out of it many it's really good I think the milk kind of makes to sweetness you're right the ice in the middle kind of cuts the sweetness it so elegantly what's your favorite Oni me it's the chicken chicken cleaner Chako my favorite then you asking about the beat means ice they just added another punch they don't they don't stand out yet you would think you'll be weird now crunch the ice droids melted it's like you're drinking the metal got their big bowl of Froot Loops is everything and overwhelming experience I was here calm me down a little bit show me some good fast-food places so very I never anywhere in the Philippines here are three good options when you want to achieve delicious meal delicious [Music] after some delicious fast food I'm gonna watch sunset right across the street from all of Asia over on the promenade right along the bay and it is beautiful looks like a carnival going on check this out
