my first thought was "why is did Tesla (the car) get Dave Stieb to do a commercial?"
This isn't a surprise, but very cool. :)
Stieb was a guitarist, liked that style of music and is friends with Geddy Lee from Rush. He was bound to know other famous musicians.
I only know about the Geddy Lee connection because during a game they showed Lee on camera and Tabler commented on their friendship.
