Interesting video. I wonder how Tesla will start to handle issues that are out of warranty once they run out in 2020. He also makes a good point about allowing people to repair their own cars or buy parts from them if they want to be really mass market. I hope any model 3 issues i have are few and far between.
My S is at the service center since Monday.... They haven't even looked at it yet. Sucks that you have to go to Tesla and there's only one Tesla.
I just rented one last week for the entire week. I was suprised to hear it was a 2013 model, I thought it was 2014 which would have been my requirement to buy used.
I needed this vid to reset my rosy mind. The 2013 model was in impressive condition at 140k km odometer. Put me in it blindfolded and tape the odometer and I'd guess 2014-2016.
I'd love for there to be an r/Teslalongtermowner or r/teslaDIY to discuss and share info like this for people planning to keep the car for 10+ years and doing minor repairs and check ups on their own.
He just earned my subscription. I'm buying the model 3 so I won't have to worry about maintenance. If I have too many issues, even if they are covered under warranty, I'll be looking at zero's motorcycles. I am not rich and I don't want to have to be to have nice things.
Edit: spelling
What's the cost on an extended warranty on the Model 3? How many years is it?
around the 3:40 mark me mentions cars being used for commercial purposes not being covered by warranty. I thought that if used for commercial purposes an individual paid for supercharging. It also changes warranty? Anything else?
Great video
So basically the CPO means nothing?
