okay there's the field we got a t something like I don't know 8 or 9 or 10 acres something like that weather's not sounding the best but it's getting awfully late we're like just about the end of June now so we're going to Ted it I cut it so last night it rained a/ in this morning was a really nice morning I think I went mowing probably around 12:30 1:00 kind of hour there didn't take long cuz it's pretty great field for the most part and now we're like 5:00 and we're going to Ted typically even like this Waterway I usually cut the whole thing but it's it's awful wet in there at the moment so I might just push on the rest of that down someday but sound too promising for it to dry out for so typically I'd rather Ted sooner than later this is just mostly grasses but there's some f in there and the drier it gets the more you lose so give it a few hours after cutting the ground dries off a little bit the surface dries off some of the hay and then you're fluffing it which I thought I've always had pretty good doing it that way so I go a little slower around the edge so it doesn't blow it off of its pth I mean you can blow it right into the woods that first wind roll if you speed up too much so typically kind of take my time with the first pass and then we can give it a little more gas when we get more into the middle of the field so now this is kind of bottom in here it can be wet in here I had tile put in here 2 years ago I think it helped a lot there's no standing water I mean it's still going to be wet but it ain't going to be like get stuck wet and then back there it goes way up I thought what we saw the logs last there's there's probably about 7 Acres up there couple acres down here yet and along with this so I don't know the whole thing all together could be up to 20 I don't know and then then up there there's elected fence I think we had a video on the spring putting it up so once all this hay is made we take that electric fence out so then the cows can clean up along the woods and stuff that we miss and uh whatever comes back from here on out so to July August September and then late October into November the the heer dry cows will end up taking over whatever the berry CS don't clean up [Music] so if you look back I think two years ago we did a video on this kind of all about this tedar kind of got to dig back a little ways but you'll find it yeah so this hay I mean it's really heavy I put the shoes up on a discbine so I could leave more stubble get it off the ground I can just feel the moisture down in I mean it's it's a lot of it's rainwater just from last night but it's going to make good half hey good hey all that stuff or the dry cows I mean but it's not baby C hey which that's where I was kind of going for if we could have got this stuff off like in mid June early June that's kind of especially this year so but there's a lot of Orchard Grass and then you got you know a lot of them grasses are dried up already and also it's practically standing dry so I wouldn't be surprised if I could bail this tomorrow we got a really good wind the um sun came back out it was cloudy for part of the day but the air feels dry and tomorrow's supposed to be real sunny and dry too and then the next day they're kind of talking maybe some more clouds coming in mid late day so we're kind of hoping that that's going to hold off when we get some sun I mean hay like this especially older hay you can you can cut one day and bail some the next and for sure the third day but you don't have that luxury all the time so we're going to get going cuz I got melin to do yet tonight so I'm going to put you up on top here somewhere
