Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Officer: You are being detained.
Guy: Am I free to go?
Officer:
The cop definitely took a second there to process that.
Is there a news story for this one? What was the aftermath?

You have the right to travel, just not on a public road in a vehicle without insurance or a license fuckface.
The hilarity of watching him read a sov cit website with all of the "talking points" and "counterarguments" is pretty laughable. If you want to go toe-to-toe with the law, it doesn't work nearly as well if you can't remember your lines.
By the 3 minute mark, even I wanted to just break the window!
I pretended he was playing PokΓ©mon Go on his second phone the whole time and it really elevated the hilarity.
βim exercising my 5th amendment right!β

I've never seen a sovereign citizen win an argument with an officer of the law.
I'm starting to categorize these people along with the Flat Earthers. Stubbornly ignoring the truth.
Why do people do this to themselves? The cop would have most likely given him a warning or a minor ticket if he'd have apologized and cooperated from the start. But no, he had to make everyone's day difficult and waste taxpayer dollars.
