no cowboy boots tonight I'm shocked to see that believe me I'm depressed next year for sure um you know you've had so many iconic roles um but this was a dream role for you so tell me about that and how much fun it was playing this Western gangster I was I kept saying the altitude and said come on spread the world the nearest spread the world and they kept getting it I know I said how much more do I have to do and then I even set it to Scorsese so finally at 76 years old ago no it's time you know that was your moment and as soon as I got the phone call I said don't even describe it you don't have to go into it Mafi guy goes west I'm in I'm all in um is it true you've had a real life run-in tell me the wild story you've had actual mops or show up at your door because of Sammy the bull all the time yeah some of the boat well actually it wasn't too many bulls people saying don't you dare play Sammy the bull or else you know that kind of a thing and when I grew up in Philadelphia I was growing up with all these guys Joe Scrappy Angelo Bruno I mean serious figures in that world so I kind of understood the drug and understood the you might say the code like I've dealt with this before I know how to play this role yeah but a lot of them are funny you see what I mean yeah and they did and one hit a duck by accident oh my God um well this the heart of this uh story is about family and your family showed up for you tonight what does that mean to have your wife and your daughters here that's the whole package I mean it's one thing to say you know oh self-addulation but I don't care about that I'm well past that it's about showing them that I actually do something for a living besides play Bad Golf you're an amazing father um you're also a great friend Bruce Willis he's going through a difficult time what does his friendship mean to you it's just you know again it brings out the fragility of life and how you have to really and everybody talks about it that we never do it really sees the moment embrace it really if you're going to say you love someone say it now and so it bothers me a great deal because I started with him you know I know he appreciates all your support so thanks for being a good friend thank you bye now [Music]
