didn't make it last year i couldn't but this is uh from what i've seen a video this is way more savage than last year uh yeah it's completely different i'll explain the rules a little bit later but we're gonna watch rick practice ellen looking pretty good nothing too scared his car jumps so flat though which is a great on a track like this so what frank has decided to do is add a joker to this race [Music] and what that means they're going to have four lap heats and each racer has to complete a joker lap at least once and what that is we'll see if rick does it this time what that is is you have to spin around this hay bale oh he didn't do it but you have to do a donut around the hay bale at least once in your four lap heat each racer no matter if you're in first or second the frank out here doing a great job wearing the new merch leo's gonna run his practice laps oh he's practicing the joker i think it's going to be tough to do in four-wheel drive yep whip it around whip it around that's gonna be wow [Music] come on frank [Music] wow all right all right uh oh he's [ __ ] a bit mike i don't know [Music] that's not so good uh i think we need to take the limit straps off of that mike all right we're back in the pits leo wasn't real happy with that round how the car was acting so we're taking the limit straps off i wouldn't even say unhappy is the word the car doesn't work with this setup out here this setup was on fire at the sean norton race that i crashed at i should have known going into this that those big jumps were not going to work with limit straps i hoped and it failed hard yeah i hit hard so many times dude yeah they look bad even for where you met we're standing so yeah having said that they're coming apart but i got to get these things out of here somehow and hopefully get one more practice lap because i i the track is tough frank did a good job at making it tough that's what he was going for frank come on frank come on [Music] all right leo's turn for qualifying they're doing timed one lap wonder qualifying laps to determine where you place on the bracket [Applause] that launch control is so weird on the new ones is that what that noise is yeah it sounds like it sounds like he's just you know hitting the gas and break without any launch control pretty good i hope so man [Applause] boy that thing kicks but it's landing way better there we go all right time for rick to qualify oh yeah come on rick [Music] hi on the berm will he take the inside or outside inside got a little squirrely on that the face of that jump but man that car looks good look at all them horses over there oh security how was qualifying bud uh i thought i thought the car did good go pretty quick out there how to look your car is pretty good yep very smooth jumps really well yeah it does yeah i think uh unless there's a faster time out there i'm number one which is good yeah and then you were i think like upper half okay so this one looks fast but you look like you're just having a really nice time out there it's a good time the car looks very cruising all right so we got our first turbo machine coming up well frank says it's time for a burnout rick is not gonna hesitate going to put the dope down maybe not they're going to put the dozer at first but [Music] so [Applause] so so [Music] [Applause] [Laughter] hey that was a there was a lot of rubber on that tire that was a heck of a test those are brand new wow basically brand new look at the grass it's just wow the machine i see i see a lot of stickers that was awesome i did not think it was gonna go i'm sitting there i'm like this is gonna go too much well you've been patiently waiting n a class is over i uh you know it's just a fair race but like in my mind i'm just taking it so seriously you're so ready plus i have all the uh all the stress from wrecking it last time and you're gonna do a good job i know really i don't [Music] it's weird for me to wrap my head around yeah but yeah you're up good luck man all right round one turbo class leo's up uh that means he did very good qualifying yeah i'm pretty sure leo is still number one in qualifying so we'll verify that after but this is gonna be good i'm psyched i'm pumped my lungs are filled with rubber yeah i can't hear anything i'm just reading your lips right now i'm so deaf from the burnout everything's so quiet wow this mighty is flying awesome speed on the flats [Music] ears don't be curious you're going to do joke right off the bat or do a few laughs oh that guy almost he's over get it out of the way broke both ball joints on the front you know what happened last time we were out here matt i do me and rick battled so my mo this entire time has been take the outside lane and then cut the berm on the inside take the inside berm on the second and then just lead from there unfortunately rick knows my plan because i shared that with him [Laughter] you're locking up third place no matter what happens you're locked into third place so who's who's a second place right now or the other position yeah so you're right the the final risk is your first and second game okay very the very final race who's racing for the other top uh we gotta go through the rest of the losers bracket so one of you to drop down in the losers bracket after this race and then you'll rate you're racing basically for a chance at first again okay all right double elimination style so yep you said that before but i'm too stupid to understand i know double separation we were having a hard time with that too look at all this video like we're having a completely heyday trying to figure this out you know you'd have a heyday in though you'd have a heyday if you bought some fresh merch go to see on the big end.com and don't think we've seen a close race like that almost all night there's been a couple leo in that orange x3 car we're super close but that was tell you hell yeah that was nuts that was that was really good racing honestly super clean like i'm not trying to you know freaking pick sides or whatever but that was the best race of the night that was incredible and there's more to come so yeah all right
