while lucas is banned in mdva so for a tournament that is beyond our border so to speak true um is this legal that's a very important question we have to discuss genuinely unbelievable the web jp would even imagine going lucas in an mdba event i feel like it's just a spit on our face but it's all right i'm gonna put my bias behind us you know just because mdva has seen the truth and what lucas is uh doesn't mean the rest of the world has but we will see soon enough as we get into web jp versus ronichu the snake of course of course right off the gate some good neutral play a lot of headbutts coming out from wave jp i like that strong start you know it's so hard to fight snake because once they have a lead they can just kind of fight with grenades and fight a distance and you're gonna be stuck but because you have that early percentage you can take your time you can take it nice and slow and you can expand that lead just like webjp is doing right now that was the wiliest for smash i've seen in my life [Music] i i don't know the option select but it works so if it works it works and that's something you've got to respect we know to upbeat on wi-fi and i like that because the grenades explode that is something the pk kids can absorb get some percentage back on i like that hard hit a forward air as well webb is going pretty well ledge the sweet spots of forward air and f are brutal if i store those hitboxes were bigger lucas could go up an entire tier on the t list this is very deceptive and not to mention that boy got a tether look at that the rope snake coming in clutch i oh i loved that actually the drag down there couldn't really find a conversion off of it twice in a row but it's the thought that counts and i'm liking that from web jp and just so much percent lucas would be easily over 100 if it weren't for the percentage that uh you know they've gained back that's the brutal thing about playing uh snake versus a nest or lucas just they're going to get back so much percent if you're not safe indeed 91 percent now on mjp and kind of a light characters you have to be careful snake on the other hand pretty heavy and not to mention running shoes excellent kind of set play and neutral at the moment just kind of surviving the jab to the crab i like that and oh the short off reed get up attack did the uptilt impeccable work around it too we've been hyping up so much and i mean with that up there of course but testament toronto for just kind of fighting back from a early deficit all right fully in the game now just such a surprising like twist from the first stock yeah webb had that early lead but now it is ronichu who found the first stock and does have the percentage in this second stock now so i'm liking it so far i'm liking the grabs a little bit of mix-ups there and snake players are so tricky man they just know how to kind of mess you up with that grab [Music] god i like this downbeat like these b reverses to come up with the magnet and then the pressure shield lucas is honestly pretty darn good at being able to pressure your shield a lot of really quick hits coming out did you see ronachu dropping grenade at ledge so lucas would hit it on the way up with pk thunder how's it i've never seen that i swear snakes are some of the smartest smash players but unfortunately just don't get the credit because have you ever played against the snake before exactly you know it's hard they're they're the smartest mashers i've ever seen they really are oh they're falling down with the back hair that is a long-lasting hitbox the soft hit is incredibly strong so webjp just kind of flew out of there gonna drop his feet on him and jesse is dead all right i'm liking the tricking from webjp i'm liking that magnet but bronichi was just fighting back toothanelle regardless i mean so much percentage recovered so far can we talk about the fact that both of their dares are literally the exact same move it's just lucas has magic they really are he has brain power actual uh the man's got some psychic energies good good kick i like to hit the shield just go for that jab get him off stage oh the grab out of it no way the do nothing to get caught response went if you wanted to take it easy for a second and kind of see what ronachi was doing because ronichu was messing them up with that with those grabs and it's just like all right well if you're gonna keep playing patient let me just down smash you at ledge and get that first game excellent work i we were again we were we were hyping up we have jp a lot but then ronichi was just unexpectedly held onto that first stock for so long took and just kind of kept the momentum i mean that's the thing when you got a character who's not exactly like a super heavy but has just that extra weight on them and going as a character like lucas who it can be hard to find these socks you can rack up damage like it's nobody's business but you're not finding these sweet spots you're not getting the you know good grabbing or something then what are you gonna do to kill i i like the technical stuff i like going around the explosives with that psi magnet so you can recover but if you can't clench those stocks then you gotta go back to the drawing board but yeah we're going for the salty run back because hey back on ps2 for game two yeah do they really have time to put in all the stuff between the two sets i i think they just went right back all right next game let's let's go let's get to the next game i love this problem it's nice to see there's no hesitation like let's just get moving love it love lucas combos are so cool that that was was swaggy i like it more than an mba i don't know maybe we're missing out on something and that was a uh that was a pivot forward till i loved that too that extra little reach on it excellent work and now web jp is definitely cooking up for this game too yeah i mean you need that x you know when you know where your sweet spot is you got to know where to place it so you got the pivot f tilts i love like different characters can do so much with it so such a cool it's cool feature of the game i guess i remember one of the earliest things i saw who like oh advanced tech of smash ultimate sliding f-till so cool sorry i know actually i'm a big fan i use it in my gameplay a lot it is a really smart tool especially if they uh your opponent underestimates the reach you have on a move all right can you see that dash tag hasn't hit yet but what so what that pika freeze does right is that it puts ronnie in a position of you know they can't like cook a grenade they can't uh try and throw out the side beat they just have to be like okay i have to shield this and then go for something so exactly and when we combine that with the tether that lucas has compared to ness um web gp can get back to stage faster and avoid that traditional life trap setup and hey got some stocks while you're at it three to one right now definitely a different game than what the first one was my goodness yeah this is what the first game was until webjp lost their first stock yeah this this makes sense this is this this is dirty like this is rough yeah mgp is going off on reality right now this is intense and this is pretty cool to see someone how to a lot of the time you play against this thing it honestly feels like you're just playing the snake's game it kind of just looks like we're playing web gp's game that's all we're watching right now web jade webb jp decides what what goes what doesn't fall platform just throwing out the pk fires making it difficult for ronachi and not falling for the same traps that rhonda was using in game one jab to grab like it's just not working anymore i wish i other right now being so careful because they want to avoid as many hits as possible i love to see that in games they're playing uh to not get hit as opposed to getting hits in and i love that kind of lucas absolutely that was such such a fun set to watch a great opener yeah like because that's that's absolutely oh whoop my bad i'm not here i'm literally a ghost check this out i'm coming back baby
