that is probably a very ominous sight to see because that's just pure black kevlar with a little window constantly pining a corner constantly using angles taking the advantages of going to the side going to the side i loved this particular player's gameplay actually that perspective that was very realistic i liked that part that they brought that realism into the game [Applause] hey everybody chris the cop here welcome back and thanks for watching we're going to be looking at rainbow six siege from my perspective of being a swat commander if you like what you're seeing hit that subscribe button alright let's get to it i like the fact that they're using drones to get a different perspective and be able to get into those rooms differently are drones a reality in tactical situations absolutely swat teams now across the united states are starting to employ drone technology we use drones as well it's a great scouting tool and we can get a better perspective for tactically wise to see what we have we can let us know entrance and exits what kind of cover we can utilize and it is a great great tool obviously they're using it in buildings to get around type of stuff but we also have robots that we could send into a house it's about this big has big old traction tires on it looks like a tractor and it moves very very slowly has cameras on that you can see and here it's able to climb up stairwells some could open up doors all these various different things but it allows us to get into a room without an operator having to risk themselves both in the civilian world and in the military we have different types of non-lethal grenades we have flashbangs which you know you throw it just like a grenade you pull the pin throw it and you try to get it about six to eight feet away from the subject that you want stunned then also too we have flashbangs that have cs gas in them that will deploy cs gas now flashbangs are a little bit different as we see here if it blows up right next to you and you're looking at it you are going to be blinded four five six seconds allowing the other individuals to go into the room undetected as you're trying to get your bearings and of course too if you're not wearing hearing protection and that caught a couple of times in this video clip where they're doing the well that's what that's supposed to be is ringing in your ears that you can't hear them as well so it's a great diversion device to be able to be utilized when you want to get into a room now there's a bunch of different ways that we can deploy these as well we don't have to throw them anymore now do we yes but also we have launchers that can do this for us so there's a ton of different things that are available to us i enjoyed watching sludge's gameplay i love the fact that he's all over the place as far as you know he's running back and forth and that type of stuff i can honestly tell you right now even watching the gameplays there's so many things moving on and i get it when you're playing this game you get really comfortable with the controllers keyboard controllers all that type of stuff as far as his gameplay wise he's actually doing some really good strong tactical stuff where he's seeing the team coming up down the stairs he takes that nice pie corner if someone pops up he's going to be able to pop them the way he's using the buildings for his cover type of stuff so he's actually playing very very smart he's not giving the enemy many opportunities to take him out by utilizing that cover and he was using cover quite well they finally have that exchange where they take out the majority of the team but as you see a lot of that just comes from their tactical movement of moving sideways not going directly towards the enemy i loved this particular player's gameplay constantly finding a corner constantly using angles did not expose themselves to a firefight they just taken the advantages of going to the side going to the side and you see that towards the end of the clip where they're maximizing that distance to try to get the drop on the enemy i love the fact that whoever this player was they blew a hole in the flooring and then they shot the enemy through the flooring that was uh that was pretty awesome i cannot honestly say i would never think about that but that was actually a very good tactic there but lots of good fast gameplay and once again it's just amount of you not exposing yourself but moving fast with deliberation to try to get to the enemy so really good gameplay it looks like she's doing two things it looks like she's looking for something electronic as well as she was using a drone there for a while on the floor so it looks like whenever you see that the phone comes out they're using the drone or if there's that scenario where they got to defuse the bomb they're looking for the bombs by utilizing this device to find those pulses from the bond those are available definitely in the military and they're now becoming available in law enforcement but ours are a little bit different we use dep cord you actually put the cord around where you want your entry point to be and just like you saw in that video press the detonate and it pops that hole and we're able to utilize that as an entrance point that technology has been around for over a decade it's just not utilized a lot for regular like search warrant type of entries and stuff like that we have breachers that are really good at what they do they can get in through almost any fence in any doorway but if we had a situation like we have a hostage rescue this is some of the technology that could possibly use to get us through a place where there's not a door and we want to go undetected that's where i would like to use that hey we gotta take out this brick wall to get us inside the building because the bad guys have the back door cover they have the front door cover we're gonna make our own entry point and that would be the perfect technology for this okay i'm going to start off by laughing i love the stim pack realistic no it's not if he's responding to being shot in the game and he gives himself a dose of epinephrine all that's going to happen is he's going to raise his heart rate it's not going to do anything to the wound itself that's losing blood which is eventually going to cause shock and a drop in his blood pressure and then he's going to go unconscious because that is the physiology of being shot [Music] not only am i a police officer but i'm also a paramedic of 28 years and i've been on multiple gunshot victims what happens physiologically to the body is you start getting what they call tachycardia your heart rate starts beating faster because of the fact that it needs to pump that blood and fill that gap in the veins before you go unconscious epinephrine all it's going to do is cause your heart to raise faster now here's the thing about epi we already have it in our system our body reacts to fight or flight giving us the ability to be able to either run towards danger and fight the danger or run away from danger giving yourself extra epi is going to do nothing it's just going to give you extra epi i understand in the game it's kind of like the stem back but yeah we unfortunately would not be doing any of that in the field as a matter of fact if you really got shot and you came out to the medic our medic is going to sell you full fluid put you in shock position and we're going to transport you as fast as we can to the local trauma center wow that was like right out of batman i don't even know if the military has anything like that here's what i would be scared from what i just watched putting that grappling hook through the window and pulling you you're going to be able to condense your body small enough to go through that window and not be splattered as you come close and breaking your legs off that was the first thing i thought of that you were able just to kind of like swing in drop down and get into the fire fight that to me is just a little fast we have used ropes for repelling not so much for climbing we're kind of more of a let's start at the top and work our way down type of people but not to say it can't happen grappling hook might be a little unrealistic my swat team has what they call a bearcat it's bullet resistant the glass in it can take a 50 caliber but it is literally this thick and it is heavy i don't know of anything that's that see-through that would not be so heavy to weigh the operator down because remember they got to get the rifle up they're coming back down rifle up coming back down because every little thing that you add to your rifle is extra weight and you got to maintain that good stance of having your rifle up i don't think a technology that allows you to see that well through glass would actually be bullet resistant or bulletproof now there are different types of shields if we've been watching any tv now for the last couple of months we've seen our fair share of riot shields all they are is a piece of plastic they are not bullet resistant or bulletproof they're just plexiglas and they have police on the front of them a rifle rated shield which will stop a two two three or a five five six round those are really really heavy when we utilize them we usually utilize them to get us through the front door of a house or business you're going to be trusting the operators behind you to keep you safe as you maneuver down the room or in the hallways and stuff from what i can tell from the player's perspective that looks like a regular tactical shield window's a little bit bigger than normal we want the shield to be bulletproof so the normal glass of a shield is like this you see the glass and that's your window your windows just like this very very thick glass so that way if a bullet does hit that glass it's going to just cause that spider web effect that you see and an operator can hide behind that because if you look at the shields the way they're designed is you put your whole hand inside of it so it's braced right here and you're able to do this and this i do like the fact that you're able to bring your gun around and this is how you offer yourself protection as you're going down the hallway or a building and even some operators have put their extra magazines in there so they could drop a mag come back in reload and get back into the firefight some departments even have an extra gun there so if the operator is in a gun battle they could just drop their gun pick up a fresh gun and get back into the fire fight that part is true now in this type of situation this is automatic weapons so that shield will stop it but eventually multiple rounds will start breaking that shield up and it'll eventually fail but that would take multiple multiple rounds actually that perspective that was very realistic that is probably a very ominous sight to see because that's just pure black kevlar with a little window you can't see the person behind you and if a team stacks up just right you can't pick up any team members behind that shield a whole entire team could hide behind that shield and you not even know it and then last minute they deploy out we went from one cop to 12 cops so that is a nice use of a shield to get a team in as well as move a team throughout a building or home so what rainbow six brings is a tactical element especially when you're playing teams you're not playing the ai you can actually use a game like this to teach operators some of the philosophies that we utilize during tactics so this is definitely a thumbs up game i'll tell you what you know what hollywood got right medic that's what hollywood got right when it comes to people getting shot that's about the only thing they got right thank you the character okay thanks [Music]
