it's taken our next guest just three years to go from being known only in her west lothian home to being one of the most recognizable faces in the world the amazing Susan Boyle joins us now and it's so lovely to have you here thank you for coming back I'm it has Holly said Ben that's three years since it all happened three amazing years if there was one thing that you thought if you were lying in bed at night and you were thinking you know I can't believe that happened to me in those three years what would you pick well I think recently sinking Madonna husband really had a question of this was their scene well you are a fan of musical theater aren't you oh oh yeah yeah so what was the first can you remember the first musical theater show that you went to see a very first one apart from livers would be cats yes yes so that's why this album must be particularly special for you because it's it's everything that you love it's songs from musicals it's not the songs on musicals it's not awful as full of analysis it's a different different Tavia music yeah its varied well they're very emotional songs as you say very varied all sorts of different different shows what was it like working with Donna then in that case if you've if you've got that one moment what you think my goodness me I can't believe I was ever gonna do this it was a very special moment walking madani he's a nice guy isn't he he's very helpful very kind Venus and he had some fun with him as well I imagine but okay so full of ease hey daddy it's so fun and and so you're your favorite music of all time I suppose would be what limb is well no because it's a signature know that lots of an actually started oh yeah yeah special song that one for you and then what about therefore then having this love of musicals all your life and being inspired to sing that song and then actually you being the inspiration for your own musical well that's find that pretty weird to begin with yeah you know a bit studio has any ideas yeah cuz you would be sitting in the audience watching your life story yeah it was a bit surreal yeah did you go up and have a go yourself do you will you you were in a few of them weren't you uh I wasn't a bit sexually of the hundred sure oh yeah and is it going to Australia tripping hazards going to show you yeah do you think you might like to go to Australia and be in it yourself I'd love to go yes Julia who wouldn't who exactly you gonna sing for us now I alia it's always lovely to have you here thank you very much in love way to me thank i hate you thank you thank you right prepare to be amazed now as Susan performs a song from her new album standing ovation somewhere over the rainbow Oh the rainbow haha that I've heard a was once in alone well Oh you dare to dream is a lot and we call also for me chin your dad your train we true Oh
