Survivor Players Jeff Probst Hated

come on in welcome to idle down where we talk all things Survivor my name is Luke and today we're talking about five Survivor players that Jeff probes hated we all have those random players we dislike we can't really explain it they just rub us the wrong way for some reason you're looking at some of mine right now look I just can't get into Jane okay Jeff probest is no different yes our stalwart host is human to and there are some contestants he truly disliked over the years whether that's for their bad attitude in the game nasty Behavior outside of it or in one case for voting out his future girlfriend so today I thought it would be fun to look at some players that Jeff probest has historically disliked before we begin I'm not Jeff probest I wasn't there and I've never been inside his mind I'm sorry to say and so all I can do is go off of the well documented statements he and others have made finally I won't be including players who did like really really horrible stuff on this show we all know who they are we all know Jeff hates them just like we do that's not really what I'm going for here last week I looked at alliances that audiences disliked now let's look at some players the host of Survivor couldn't stand at number five is Chris from Survivor Vanuatu for Jeff this one's personal Midway through Survivor vanatu Jeff began catching the eye of contestant Julie Barry and she made her feelings towards Jeff very clear honestly dudes are so oblivious a lot of us would still miss a pickup attempt this obvious after the show Jeff and Julie began dating and dated for several years but their budding relationship ended up coloring Jeff's perception of The Season's ultimate winner Chris one of the most brutal betrayals in Survivor history is Chris's betrayal of Julie at the final five of this season close friends since they were swapped together on day 11 Chris and Julie had a brother sister relationship and Chris insisted that he was going to the final three with Julie and Eliza only instead to flip to Twilight and Scout women he believed would be easier to beat both in the challenges and in the final two a decision which ultimately paid off fast forward 4 months from the end of filming to the live reunion in December 2004 and both Julie and Jeff are still sore at Chris for this betrayal and the entire Vanuatu reunion is basically Jeff bashing Chris he bashes Chris when talking to Julie he bashes Chris when talking to Eliza he bashes Chris when talking to Chris he bashes Chris when talking to Chris's Beyonce when he comes home what does he tell you that he got voted on that night oh he did so he let you believe that happened yes so he's yes he did so first of all Chris just got outed for telling you something but it was a lie so he's going to say it's okay cuz that's his character we already know that for years Jeff was dismissive of Chris's impeccable endgame because due to his relationship with Julie he was simply too close to the season his love for her coloring his perception of the guy who bested her strategically but to his credit Jeff reportedly called Chris up and apologized to him at some point or another but for a while Chris was one of Jeff's most hated players ever all because he voted out Jeff's girlfriend the things we do for love at number four is Shannon from Survivor Nicaragua well Jeff's right about this one this dude sucks Jeff's disdain for Shannon goes back to the episode 2 Tribal Council of Nicaragua where Shannon is back against the wall because of his failed coup against Brenda decided to verbally lash out at well everyone but it's his comment to sash that turned both Jeff and fans against him more so hey I'm going to get this out the way right now are you gay now Shannon was ultimately voted out for his idiocy here but the Saga didn't end with Shannon's snuffed torch in the weeks after his televised elimination he harassed propest on Twitter got blocked and made new accounts to harass him again in postgame interviews he blamed the edit for his homophobic outbursts before turning around and saying things like this oh yeah definitely just the edit despite all of this Jeff actually gave Shannon the opportunity to clear his name and apologize at the Nicaragua Reunion where he only doubled down on his stupidity as soon as Jeff realizes this he wisely cuts the segment short yeah when we're pivoting to Wendy Joe that's when you know things aren't going so well ultimately I would doubt that Jeff even remembers this second boot flop nowadays but he's an interesting Relic from a reality casting era will likely never see again the peaked in high school era where seemingly every cast had an edgy on it doomed only to be remembered for whatever their most offensive statement was you know at least Rocky had the good sense to use an alias while playing this role at number number three is Brian from Survivor Thailand the enemy of both Jeff propest and puppies Brian was widely despised by much of survivors production crew including propest like most of us propest is a Survivor Thailand hater and the lead up to season 20 he ranked it the worst season ever and he's previously called the final four the least likable final four in Survivor history no arguments there and almost since the season finished airing fro was vocal in his dislike of the season's winner Brian heidik like watch his body language when he and Mark Bernett hand over the million-- dooll check to Brian he's going to break his own kneecap they were openly antagonistic towards one another during the season and I don't think it's a huge leap to assume that Jeff was kind of creeped out by some of Brian's more inhuman character traits on top of that Brian's Past film roles in in some softcore porn films like passion Cove payday and The Virgins of Sherwood Forest were discovered by journalist as the season aired casting a sleazy Cloud over the season in the Public's eye much to Productions Chagrin personally I'm more of a the Regina Pierce Affair kind of guy add on Brian's demand that he be paid an appearance fee to appear in Survivor Allstar and you've got a guy that Jeff would simply rather forget literally he couldn't even name him in a later interview of winners production wish hadn't won reducing him to that softcore porno dude uh show a little respect there buddy you're talking about rednick number one over here at number two is Colton from Survivor one world and Survivor blood versus water if there's one thing Jeff hates it's quitters and Colton got probably the worst proped tongue lashing of any quitter in Survivor history look Colton was no one's favorite on his first time out a petty Tyrant who made racist and ableist statements it was pretty shocking that he was invited back to play for a second time an inclusion which propest was against from the start in his pregame cast assessment for blood versus water he can barely even justify Colton's presence this season the things he said were so tough to hear there was nothing about him that was likable we're given some cockamamy story about how Colton experienced growth his first time out but we all know the real reason Colton was brought back here Colton and his racist Antics made for a cynical ratings grab to quote Tyson Colton tried to change for like a day but on day seven Colton has a meltdown throwing a temper tantrum because he can't play along alongside his boyfriend Caleb and he just rage quits the game with Jeff's initial negative feelings about inviting Colton back frustratingly validated he unleashes on Colton telling him he should have stayed at home argues that he faked appendicitis his first time out and refuses him the honor of burning his buff on his way out the door I've got to say in lie of being denied the satisfaction of Colton getting his torch snuffed not once but twice Jeff completely hum humiliating him will do nicely even after the game Jeff pulled no punches in his thoughts on Colton quote go away and don't come back I very much felt as though I was saying what most viewers would say if given the chance there was no image rehab happening during blood versus water I don't know Colton outside of this game so maybe he leads a very happy loving Balanced Life back home I hope he does I have formed my opinion only from the handful of days he has played Survivor and based on that my opinion is that he's led a pretty sheltered and soft life when things go south he just quits and goes home I wasn't surprised at all that he quit ouch now that hurts even more than Colton's Whittle tummy ache at number one is Johnny fair playay from Survivor Pearl islands and Survivor Micronesia I think fair play at one point was probably Jeff's most contestant ever and I think that hatred extends back to Drake's first Tribal Council in episode 4 of pearl Islands fair play shows up drunk to tribal which kind of got their relationship off on the wrong foot fair play thinks that propest was genuinely mad that he wouldn't sometimes play ball at Tribal Council and give information away and he described their host and player relationship as tense and that's at the best of times that said Jeff is still a professional so for this season his dislike for fair play manifested on camera only in some of the funniest roasts ever here's my actual genuine favorite propest Zinger of all time from the final four of prolin John and three women in bed another first Immaculate things got personal between the two when an unruly and heavily intoxicated Fairplay and one of Jeff's Brothers got into an altercation at the Survivor Vanuatu Afterparty in 2004 which resulted in Fair Play getting kicked out and ultimately banned from all survivor events at least the ones Jeff was attending that lasted as long as fair play was needed for the next rury season way to stand your ground CBS you your children and your children's children are banned from this television show for 3 years at the time probest fought heavily against fair play's inclusion on this cast but was overruled by CBS brass who couldn't pass up the opportunity to have their most notorious villain back once again ever The Optimist Jeff found the silver lining in this and said he looked forward to dunking on Fair play more from the Micronesia preseason quote I hope he lasts fair play is fun to go at because I feel like I can eat his lunch all day every day and pack it for him and steal it again which he did 5 seconds into the season so fair play are you dressing like me you want to know what you're playing for I'm actually impressed I like to know that you have aspirations to get out of your current place in life now at least their relationship seems to be cordial fair play is grown up and he's long since apologized for whatever he said to Jeff's brother back in 2004 but for a while propes probably wanted nothing more than to give fair play the
