made it here all right what's up guys pretty much the situation stands as is we're hanging out here we're about to go surf here in big texas air attacks burger and taxes how do you feel pretty hyped on this wow you see him it dude please enjoy and wish me luck because I've never done anything like this and I'm stoked so I've seen a little bit you I need help even strapped no we don't even eat straps over here this is what we do how we doing Texas like that dirty I was locked up in a Polaris we just picked up the whip further then we're about to go surf oh my god good the pool is crystal clear blue right now looks like Hawaii out there oh my god we're gonna be getting blue blue barrels today that's on you this is so real right now that's going down we're here I got we're so stoked oh my God look at it's crazy bleh dude it looks sick or Eddy can't even see how this window right now oh we got some tornado weather here in Texas it's really coming down here we got some mud on the tires four-wheel driving through the woods looking for this secret wave I'll pop it - my name is seal buddies here the good thing about coming to Texas in the middle of the storm is we're going to get the biggest peak of the swell because the storm is hitting so hard maybe like later this afternoon when the storm is done it might get a little cleaner but right now we're getting the big part of it this song started in Hawaii came to California wet sir Arizona dropped down through New Mexico I met up with the aliens and now is in Texas and everything's bigger in Texas boys even the waves are lazy oh dude I've never been in anything all right it's really really really coming down but as far as filming goes that's bad for filming but I'm gonna grab my GoPro right now we're gonna make it happen so I'm suiting up I'm ready to go out there yep Fran oh my [Music] would you consider this fully nuking oh it goes by holy psyching later scenario is pretty heavy but the crews pretty positive super positive oh there's a level in rain when you just give up that just becomes your life we're searching for puddles it's on isn't it go find one on the barrel always kind of found oh my god and beater that oh my god boy dude this is a lifesaver this pool is so warm right now oh my god there's lightning we don't mind the rain but all you hear that thunder and lightning so we can't go in the pool because it's electronic obviously so we got to wait for the lightning to pass and then we're gonna start shredding put chains kind enough to let us borrow as warm pool the boys might be in trouble down the lane [Music] dude we can push it out though [Music] [Music] [Music] we just like that [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] figured out the window wipers and we're back at it dude no worries this is the nor these trip ever oh my god alright the rains gonna be clearing up in like a half hour or an hour we're gonna be out there surfing so we're fired up everybody's really stoked so I'm excited thanks guys you what are you doing right now I'm just walking back and forth in and out of the door psyche dude this Sun God Damon did the Sundance and he changed everything talked about him met him in Idaho stole his dancing songs epic forget this alright guys situation lies as this we just got back in the Polaris we waited out the bulk of the storm it's still raining right now but um the sun's starting to come out the wind is calming down the rain has come down a lot and we're doing it he's so cold in Texas today whoa yeah we're about to go score they're firing up the wave and and the thing that I'm stoked about right now is like they showed us some footage of the wave and it's it's so crazy because it's not the same wave every time they can change the wave every single time that they send a set in they can change the wave it can be a left a right slab running down the line running barrel like crazy wedge it can be two waves coming in to each other like it's nuts the amount of diversity they have out there it's just mind-boggling and we're going to test it out right now could ask for a better crew dude Jamie O'Brien demo Jake a-frame the a-frame yeah see this thing anybody frame all the way before we got there no they're firing off waves and they're snowing out right now I'm so excited he's odd he's been waiting for like oh it must feel like 48 hours but it slowly with like three because of the rain everyone else hated on the rain and we're in as Ben said big boy neighborhood just sitting around waiting eating pizza but now we got oil glass conditions and barrel and offshore winds into the barrel know your big dog what do you mean perfect this is this cows is if you're in the barrel that counts this is the best novelty wave in the world this will be I mean I never serve Texas so this will be my 34th state I'm gonna just bring that out bring it out it's big time we need this watch in between sets cuz your wax it's all slippery just round the secret my wax is already [Music] gnarlie I'm trying to take the secret route over there but now looks like here we are we're looking at the poor right now it's completely flat right now no way but couldn't ask for a better scenario dude we're going surfing in Texas my 34th state with Jamie O'Brien what do you guys think does a wave pool count as surfing I mean I'm surfing so does it count us check it off a state I'll let you guys be the judge but here we go got the invite from Jamie we're walking out they're gonna pump the first set for us couldn't possibly be more stoked right now pretty much just the team dude are you doing we're gonna get barreled all the way to the end almost but don't stall it too much but just just right right in it and you'll get barrel all the way okay that's the plan first wave I'm trippin dude yo this waters so crispy it's weird [Music] dude once were like get a jet engine spaceship spaceship you waiting for that sound or something [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] that's a mind [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] how do you feel right now do that I feel amazing look I'm in Aloha shirt serving perfect waves I can't feel any better this crew is pretty heavy I actually made a little barrel so I'm stoked one of many hopefully my ratio is pretty low I could be mistaken but I'm pretty sure that this is about to be heavy big dog big taxes [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] alright guys so we had to get out after a short surf session because they actually have to do some construction back behind the wave there so as you guys can tell the park isn't completely finished they're still working on everything so they had we had to take a break so they could do construction if we only got about 40 minutes on the way if hoping that they get done what they need to get done before dark and we get to surf again that would be amazing this way is about to be full glass dude dreams are made father dreams are made by the banks falling everywhere there we go dude dreams are made by the banks of the wave pool you got wave angle come on dawn I reacted mom I'm on here we go is it gonna be a ride or laughs what do you think right one wave set cranked all the way up it's not it's gonna taper in the beginning barrel at the end just full keg most open barrel we've seen yet okay they've been pumping the pipe for a while it sounds like a big one what's going on I see some weird water movement so that's a big one yeah it is still out of the machine gets the bigger the wave is I think this is that here's the first one takes the longest to fire up yeah there's no way one percent right off for sure was so small on the disappointed [Laughter] [Music] all right the plan is they're gonna fire up some waves but we're almost done because they have to do more construction on the pool so rapid fire [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so we got four coups in the lineup but there's five people who's the goose [Music] [Music] all right here I am up top the way there's no flat it is gone disappeared into the abyss look at this beautiful Texas sky back here started out this day with torrential rain sketchy situations got the session earlier oh it was short it got cut short by construction came back got the night session everything panned out perfectly for the dream
