Super Mega Secret Boiler releases the Genie

hey what's up fellas we're back out here at White Sands Proving Grounds again today and this is what I got going on I let the genie out of the bottle got a little frightened that had to shut her down it was definitely not equipped for that so we busted out the big guns today uh we're tackling yesterday's problem with the auxiliary water explosion that we had I have a high pressure water line and I am squibbed off with some tie wire I got a little bit of insulation there to protect the rubber and that's about a five horsepower engine I believe so we ought to be wound for sound and we did this garden hose system we had two booster pumps and the garden hose running it yesterday and we blew that up so hopefully I was hoping this would solve that problem this is a liquid propane combustion system so we don't got to worry about bottle boil off and all that and there is our Electric System there our ignition wires are just baling wire so for you guys who were late to the show here what we're looking at is the banjo burner and all I'm doing in this test is turning the air up and down so that you can see what 850 000 BTUs looks like we are burning all that fuel into a very tiny space when I turn this air up so in addition to that what makes these things so incredibly powerful is the extremely large amount of infrared radiation coming off of these things anybody who has ever set in front of a campfire before can tell you that the red hot coals are far more energy intense than the planes are that's why some space heaters have red hot elements on there because the heating elements heat the objects in the room and not just the air as you can see this thing puts off a tremendous amount of ir infrared radiation and that also helps vaporize the liquid propane feed line This is a liquid propane combustion system and you need that because a regular bottle would not be able to power this burner at all here's a quick look at the vaporizer coil you can see it's a little bit of Fire and Ice today and it's this is what we got going on [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] around water it's been off for a minute [Music] [Applause] [Music] that's a little too real doc Clinton you would think it was stopped by now that went on for days [Music] all right fellas so it got real awful quick right there um I just was not equipped for that type of energy you could start to feel like gravitational effects taking place or something there the thing was was humming so violently the camera did it no justice I'm sure you felt quite safe on the other end of that screen there but I was getting a little bit terrified so shutting it down was a must I am not dressed for this type of power I knew the thing was going to be ferocious but we weren't dialed in yet and it got too scary for me to want to go anywhere near the thing to dial it in without full PPE so I have not yet had a chance to walk around and look at the burners and dial them in I'm just now getting brave enough to light them all this thing is kind of like shooting a 50 caliber rifle with one hand you know it's probably not going to go well it's uh it's just a lot of power the thing starts getting so loud you're you instinctually just don't want to get anywhere near it your body's like telling you get the hell out of here now so not for the faint of heart very impressed with what I saw today I can't imagine what this thing is going to do when all six burners are glowing red hot I've just got to get those gauges dialed in so if I can ever work up the brass balls to get in there and turn them knobs in time before we run out of propane we're going to have quite the show but to be honest I don't think I can do any more testing in the area that I'm in this thing um is like likely to kill somebody who's just passing by in a car this is way too much energy for the driveway so I'm not sure where we're going to go with this one I do at least got to get it dialed in one time so we're going to do one more test but I think I might have cracked the propane manifold so I may have to take it apart when I was tightening it I heard a crack I heard a tick noise one of those terrifying noises you hear at the end of the job
