Cool video but if I ever have to read the term "super hacker" again I will remove my brains from my head
"I don't want a bigger piece of the pie, I want the pie to be bigger" what an awesome mindset.
There is a difference between making a car drive, and making it drive well. Making it drive is easy. Doing it well takes some pretty good sensors, hardware, and AI.
I can make your car drive itself for the cost of a brick! Can't promise you'll always get where you're going, however.
His ideas are nice and he's obviously a smart kid, but I feel like his arrogance will destroy him.
This was a surprisingly good, informative video. I encourage everyone to watch it even is Hotz is not your favorite guy. I can see why, but this video might just make you look at him in a better light.
EDIT: typo
the most amazing part of this video is when Geohot said he's got a date.
I'll take, >Things You Shouldn't Skimp On< for 1000 please Alex.
Yeah, OK pal. That fact this dude is so confident in his tech without seeing enough data to confirm/deny a single assumption means he's a damn fool. I've worked with people like this. It sucks.
I can promise you, you don't want this in your vehicle unless you enjoy playing Russian roulette with your car.
