hello everybody and welcome back to the summer spectacular my name is Chris y hi Mike delicio and I'm Wy ye oh Mike is back guess who's back guess who's back delisio's back guess you're back okay are you back is this really you or is this just like a projection of I'm a holograph that's that's what that word means yep holographic Charizard deliso that is correct I'm I'm a yeah I'm a foil card is what I am folks we are playing right now the rise of Babel this is a game from bedwin games who has sponsored this and not only have they sponsored this but they are also doing a contest so let me tell you how you can enter to win one of two copies of this game that's coming to Kickstarter here shortly this uh if you email us at contest diow tocom and in the subject line put the word Babble as spelled here b a b e l uh then you uh could win one of one of two copies of this this this is from bedin games they previously are known for doing the flood which is uh which is fulfilling I think currently actually okay so this is another one of the games they're doing it's an Old Testament setting but it's not not trying to be a preachy game it's trying to be a fun game that you can dive into that uh that plays with this you know historic setting and stuff but it's a deck building game and I'm going to show you a little bit more about that right here deck building game you say yep so as with many deck building games each of us starts with 10 cards that are all the same uh as each other and we're going to be drawing up five of them playing out all five of them and then the next player goes you'll drop a new hand of five cards these are the cards out here that are for purchase they cost this amount of gold we're going to be having gold in our hand that we can then use for those things or we can use these cards for different actions so you can see here that with cards oh sorry Roy if we can turn off the blue screen for just a second okay get yeah so this is a blue banner down here um very blue so you can either use the top part of a card for its action or the bottom card uh bottom part of the card the blue or the white banner and that's typically how most of these cards work is they'll have two different choices so we playing out all of our cards choosing between the two choices on there some cards are just going to be worth uh just one basic thing itself look at that cat look at that cat that cat is all about the gold I didn't even see that cat it was so hidden that's right it knows what it's doing that's right so these are the five cards that are available for purchase there are two stacks here that are multiple copies of the same cards that we can buy but what do we do and what's the point of what we're trying to accomplish is we have resources in this bag they need to not stay in the bag they need to get up here to the ziga we got to build that Tower it is oh all right that's good those are some good smelling resources I'm not going to lie there lots of tar mostly yeah there's nothing nothing like quite like tar in the morning it's like the people that like the smell of gasoline I kind of like the smell of gasoline gasolina okay so what are we doing here so we are trying to deliver our goods from starting here from our stalls on our player board uh either through card play delivering them to the zigurat or the towers or moving them to the camps and from the camps taking a ride on our elephants all the way up here and then the elephants will deliver the goods elephants immediately reset to the camp and we can continue to do that process well the elephants climb the stair s of the zigurat I think it would only be uh I think it'll only behoove them yeah to do so that door they're not hoing but yeah I agree I think so it would Beto them to do that yes yes there are upgrades to the cart uh we could upgrade carts onto the elephants so that it can deliver more Goods at once so that's one of the ways that we'll be upgrading uh and then these cards as of course as a deck building game we're adding new cards to our deck and we're going to be upgrading there so uh you're going to see a little bit about about that now this is what we're showing off as a prototype of course this is a prototype of just the base game as well in the crowdfunding campaign there'll be an expansion which is going to add some more kind of more gamer elements if you're looking for something a little bit metor than this and there's also going to be a deluxe edition which has a lot of blinged out upgraded pieces and stuff o real real elephants ladies and gentlemen I I hope I'm not giving anything away I was thinking there a real tar in the bag get stuck like the Bri rabbit you all are full of good ideas you should be in marketing that's what that's what DIY is all about Mike and Wendy marketing team like this as we're playing a three-player game there's three towers here and then the level one of the zigurat and so the round will be we'll continue to take turns playing out our five Cs at a time until we've filled in every one of these spaces the round will then end we'll do an end of round scoring as shown over here for putting out resources of uh either these blue bricks into columns we want to score more points as we do or wood into rows across Stone diagonal from each other and tar adjacent to other tar we're going to score that up then we're going to move to round two oh in which the zigurat will get bigger we're building this Tower to heaven right it doesn't get smaller it continues to grow goes this way that's a bold move for a zigurat you know what I mean normally you see him going like this no we're going like this we defy gravity it's the Flying V zigurat let's do it uh and then after we do that the second round is done when we go to the third round and then we do the final oh now I see what it's putting down I'm picking up what it's putting down now right so Ste let's do this pyramid yes so I'm going to go ahead and go first just to kind of show you uh the general cycle of the game five cards in hand we can play all of them out uh and then can or must um you can if you want to skip a card you can just choose to discard it right awayy um certain cards here going to have symbols of course that are going to be the little the tricky part to uh you know to to kind of look at for the first so this is what I'm going to do I'm going to start with this overhaul card and I'm going to be playing the top part not the blue Banner here all right we got overhaul I'm going to be playing this overhaul card which says I get to trash this card oh I get to take any one of the items from my stall um from the actually you can turn off the blue screen sorry and take any uh turn it off okay or uh yeah yeah because I'm not actually think you me what you meant yes I said it the backwards of what I meant do as I say not as I say Obviously uh so this what this means I'm going to take one of the items from my stall here and move it into my warehouse when I move it up to the warehouse the next step is to upgrade um these I have these four markers here I'm actually just going to pull this over onto the board look at that off now we can turn it off so because the thing that I moved over was a blue brick I'm going to be moving the brick over and when you get to uh something on your board you unlock that so I unlock this piece here which is both Stone and tar meaning it can score for both the stone condition diagonals and the tar conditions for adjacencies because I trashed this card to activate this effect it is gone from my deck forever forever and ever okay uh and then in the future as I bump this over I might get more and more of these upgrades which I'll explain over the course of the game here okay seems like a lot to do on the first card basically he has four more cards to play oh make no mistake about it yeah this is um next okay with that I'm going to load up my elephant here so I can take uh any one of these Goods here from the Stalls and place them out into my camp and now as I have cards that'll allow me to move the elephant I can load this up for free I'm going to move it one step bring it up there you don't get the gold I don't get the gold sorry what on the card no that's right I'm choosing to do the elephant movement instead of the gold you always choose one of the two banners kind of overe explaining this first turn so everyone can follow along of course sure one gains in the chat good to see if we have questions fantastic yes yeah and folks if you have any questions about this game at all feel free to uh ping bin games in the chat there so uh this one here I'm going to use this effect to take an item from my warehouse and deliver it ex uh immediately to the zigurat or the Stalls zigurat or the towers here yeah or yeah Towers yeah from yeah stall warehouse and then delivered MH I think what I'm going to do though I'm going to start with this one here I'm going to put my bricks out onto this brick spot that's ridiculous which means I get this bonus of one point if you place a matching resource out here you get that you get a point or an influence right away M if you cover up one of these symbols that is a free move from here from your stall out to the camp hello nice I'm now going to use my last card here MH I don't have three gold to pay for this effect here right I could normally do this thing here but I can't afford it so instead I'm just going to take the bottom part which is one gold faking out Roy sorry man um and one gold buys you a whole bunch of nothing right one gold cannot get me a card these ones your cost two but what do you do but what you can do with a gold is either you can refresh the Market of cards mhm or you can refresh your stalls down here oh you're allowed to discard as many of these items As You Wish from your stalls and then refill all of them I could leave this tar here if I wanted okay I think I am going to leave it cuz I've got this tar over here so the last thing I'm do on my turn is pulling out two more of these resources plop plop that's my turn my cards are discarded I clean my hands of this mess okay all right so start at the beginning what are we doing here we go here now I I got a very interesting opening hand and by interesting it could be terrible I'm not sure look who am I to say um who you to judge let's say I'm going to I will overhaul make make no mistake I'm going to overhaul right this card has gone forever I'm going to take uh one of these right and put it into my warehouse W house I want to do you did blue nah blue is is is trash blue is a suckers game is that what blue is a suckers game so this is going to go over here or over here right this goes over here yeah so so the first thing that I would do is I would choose one of the three to move up to the warehouse oh that's what I need to do okay all right so based on which thing you move up is which track you would make there we go bada bing okay stone stone so your stone marker moves forward mov forward bada and now I've got wood and stone up here that right look wooden bricks I can do that it's a double you're good wow okay and then this part is the upgrade the got got it got it got it okay so you're done with that you trash the turns over now right after all that well you would think so I just got started but wait there's more this is nothing what do you see what I got happening right here um I can upgrade oh okay so as a as a quick uh clarification you always refill your three stalls the paying the gold is to cycle through them so immediately refill this just got real folks I got another tar I'm lousy with tar all right now I can upgrade which means that I can take one of these put it right up there right or am I doing the exact same thing this is different than an overhaul that is the yeah the upgrade is the same action I just don't have to discard a card nice oh that's a pro move that is a look I didn't want to be the one to say it I'm glad you didn't all right so let's go ahead and do I want to get into the Tar game let's get into the Tar game actually I got blue here though let's get into the blue game when Chris did it sucker move Take Me Out to the now now we're we're uh we're talking look at all this stuff I got over here this is outrageous and you know what I'm going to do I'm going to refill that nice very nice is my turn over yet Wendy uh no that's two cards that's two cards oh my goodness um how many cards do you have in hand again woo this is a full tar not many people can pull that off I've got a full tar before you had a tart Tar this is not my first turn mind you two cards full tar two cards and about 8,000 resources up here Wendy I think we need to walk this out I think we're I think we've lost M doesn't realizes I also have a full tar so he thinks he's cool yeah you're your full tar means nothing cuz it didn't happen first all right so that gets discarded and now it did I don't want to say I don't want to say that I'm a very wealthy person but look I've got riches and I've got wealth look at that we got riches we got wealth we got two cats that's four gold people what can I choose darn near anything buy some blocks with that my friend I can buy buy all kinds of things so let's just really quickly go through some of this so this is discard a card trash trash this to get a card and trash any other card that is in your play area or disc it's a way to to to call your deck okay um also when you buy this card you immediately get an influence point so look out for some of those symbols there some of these cards show uh an influence over here in the orange orange means that that is at the end of game if you card in your deck that's points whereas you can leave that off for just one more second whereas something that shows the blue banner up here means that as you purchase it you get that influence right away which is important because there's one smell uh one little thing that we're going to reveal here in just a second when someone hits Five Points a little a little wrinkle you get a little wrinkle a little twist um so is Magic do I want jobs and Teamster block box is good cuz it lets me take one and immediately pop it up there yes so that's a very powerful or get a movement elephant movement thank you blocks is mine okay now feel some good I'm done a four card for a fo card so remember that one gold can be spent to either wipe the market of cards or your stalls your three good I used all four if I had taken a three I could have done that but correct all right well I'm gonna load me some what color am I you're green I'm green couldn't even tell what color am I know all right I'm going to load up my amol over here right there with that and I'm going to put one of these puppies up here you said it immediately refill so it does immediately refill you should yeah I want to be but it's a elephant not a oh but it's so cute like a little puppy it's so tiny elephants are puppies of the desert they they that's what they're known as that's what I've heard but they're fuzzy and cute I'm going to move this wood up oh or do I want to stick with this maybe I'll stick with that cuz if I get four of those together I get points is that how that works or just everyone next to each other each one next to each other is two points is two points ites include if it's over here or if it's over here correct yep oh okay these towers are separate right so there's the at most you know little tiny towers so let me ask you this question can you pour a bunch of tar over that wood and now it's a tar you're allowed to cover it with a mismatching resource you just don't get the thing you just don't get the see that's important yeah is it considered full though if it's just the picture no it has to be player blocks or sometimes these wild blocks which card effects can put these ones out there okay I got you Chad I know what you got all these question question I've got answers I got a question whose turn is it Mike uh I believe it's it is my turn you're correct all right I'm going to move my elephant with my little tar on his back his little Tar baby right there MH and then with my two coins of Awesomeness I think I want that jobs want some money making it's the Old Testament it's pronounced jobes I don't want to be tortured you're going to suffer a discard pile goes into your discard pile pile now all of your played cards the discard all right I and this refills magic all right my turn is going to be a little bit simpler and a little bit quicker this time thank you I got four money I have my upgrade four Money More Problems so this is what I want to do I want to move my bricks up here and I want to move up this bricks track again at this point I have I have the option between two upgrades that I can choose I can either put a cart onto my elephant or I can put out a trading house what these trading houses do is if I deliver via my elephant the matching resource I get an immediate ingame influence I want the cart okay I want the cart I want to put a cart on my elephant don't put the cart before the elephant as uh yes as Pavlov said I believe it was I'm going to play this card here to move oh I refill my good I'm going to move my elephant One Step cuz I want to get that upgraded elephant yeah done with this dang delivery as fast as possible is there something that's going to go on here no no no I don't believe so okay um and then my last step is I have four four money so I want to buy one of these cards here the card that I would like to purchase however is for money four problems um blocks is for Money Mike seem to like it yeah it's good it's a good card it's a good card it's better when it's in my hand it's going to be used you used it so many times you would know how well it works you know I did learn something I was a history teacher for 20 odd years I didn't know they had teamsters and uh that was interesting to find out um yeah the unions back in the day they were uh they were not something to mess with there were there was the job Union my goodness I've got so many things to do all right well uh there's an order I must do these yes oh Ben Foster points out yeah the the art and this is great Andrew Bosley artwork if that didn't [Music] jump okay do I want to Fast Track it oh yeah you do kind of want track kind of want to Fast Track IT Rush all right um what is yes I'm so excited for my double card like I your what card my double cards he's got double cart thought you said card yeah okay that's cute all right um I want to no derision my I'm excited for my green elephant that I know is green now I'm going to play a fast track that means I'm going to take a resource from my Storehouse up here and I'm putting it directly up there mhm and so what I want to do is I want to go here that gets me an influence cuz it put us put on yeah it's both stone and you know why did I want to do that I did not want to do that I wanted to put it here oh okay that's a tar covering a tar so you still get the influence right right right and then I did that now um loading is putting a resource down here is that right yeah it shows yeah to the camp okay someone's elephant hasn't done anything I don't want that's about to change that's about to change so here's what we're going to do we're going to load we're going to load thisa one down here no you got to load from over here what yeah load from your star oh that's all right hey I'm all about the tar big tar all about that tar about that tar all right then let's uh do a voyage of Marco Polo Let's uh do elephants I don't like this I don't like this one bit to let's do purchase beep and the so for one I can do oh first of all I need to fill that mhm if you're tired of tar yeah you can ditch them tars I don't know if I'm tired of tar I'm I'm in the Tar game so we we'll get that would and now with my one what can I do again you can either wipe the the market of cards or you can wipe any number of your goods oh oh oh oh oh and they go back in your bag I after you've drawn the new ones can you wipe the cards before you buy stuff yeah okay yep yeah yep unacceptable um the icons over here because they um like the rule book has the cards up on the top here just it heads up but I just for the camera sake I put them on the side yeah so let me in case I want to change my mind here when um when you wipe uh these right mhm you keep them outside of the bag before you draw and then put them in yes okay all right then I will do that I will do that is that all right whoa whoa M ditching the tar tar is overrated do you have to wipe it all or just your choice your choice so many choices we got tar you should have wiped away that wood man and we got Stone all right these go back hey now you have variety I got a variety variety is the spice of the zigurat boom look so I'm going to be shuffling this bad I might as well do it now right yeah I mean you I mean all right well my elephant is catching up to y'all Speedy fast just like that mhm doesn't have a cool C like yours it's going on a speedy fast um I am going to trash this card which will let me move one of these upgr things you know what let me let me upgrade you I feel like I have a lot of this stuff so let's ditch that so I just push that to the side right no I put it up here ha follow the card I put that up the card yeah and then the wood one moves up here cuz that moves to the side bingo I refill and I really hope for a wood that's my plan oh it's a wood it's a wood all right this is gone that's trashed has a plan I have such a plan I definitely don't have a plan I even know what the symbol means but I'm going to do it so I get to uh put another wood up here which moves this over here and uh this refills so that symbol there I'm going to show this up on the green screen is this is immediately you get to make two deliveries from stall to the zigurat because you covered that up two deliveries from stall to zigurat okay we're going to do this which gives me a point yeah and this which is next to it which is awesome um boo earns I say I do declare NS boo ears I was say that's pretty awesome is my turn over yet Mike I don't know you told me it's not over yet I'm too busy thinking of my quote unquote plan three bills y'all oh do I want handmade or do I want to be able to co my deck you know I want handmade hand ta oh yes this is one ofs one of these cards that has the lovely three options you can trash this card for two elephant movement trash it to move two things to Camp or it's just a consistent elephant flow and one of the important things is to have elephant flow is to have elephant flow you got to flow your elephant you reach a certain age and you you should check in with your doctor to make sure you have El flow your fiber so I'm making this delivery of wood up here um I will put it over here yes why don't you put it over there so I get one of them points that I'm always ragging on and on about um I would like to talk to the manager I'm going to do this I'm going to wipe all three of these resources now player lair in the chat here I believe that's Elijah uh the designer of the game here so one of the things that he points out is that these resources stay to the side of your board until the end of your turn because if I wanted to pay more gold and be like I'm really fishing for something they don't go into your back into your bag until the end of your turn when we refill do we refill at the end of the card or do we refill immediately when we pull off the resource this I would like to know that's uh that's elah question that's a question for player layer all right uh blocks I'm going to go ahead and use this effect here to oh and my elephant goes all the way back to Camp the way home uh I'm going to go ahead and deliver a Stand and [Music] Deliver uh directly from stalls to the zigurat so that's good uh now I would like to also deliver well this was shortsighted of me but I'm going to do this one here whoop that's a full row of bricks really going for vertical look like that's six points and I absolutely do not like that this one goes to my Camp I'm not loading up on the elephant yet that's the end of my turn the game will speed up as we kind of yeah get more familiar with everything going on right yes what we also would have spit spit it up is if I looked at my cards before turn all right so let's do a Visa one we want and by I mean me um God I got to stick to these cuz you guys are fighting over the zigger out I'll I'll go for these towers do it I'm going to do blocks actually it's supposed to go out one of these buildings for delivering tar so you can actually keep that by your board oh when you deliver tar via your elephant you'll be getting an influence time mean via this elephant right now yes via that elephant there's a deliver that tar no one around that can like where's this grab a water for somebody is there Roy is a beast Roy is a beast and the elephants do go right back to Camp immediately no no I'm sorry thematic elephants don't walk backwards last time I checked mine does yours can't walk backwards it's not an elep walk backward it's uh that is a seg straightly if it's capable of genetically capable of walking backwards yeah that's impossible I don't like this idea of Mike having all this space up here so I'm going are you kidding me mess around with the zigot over there no one wants your wood over there Chris made it so there's not a lot of spaces to doal things all right I'm going to throw that there and then I have $2 left oh and you oh look at this I think I just bought that with my gold brings me a lukewarm water are you kidding me only the brown M&M's brings me a lukewarm only the brown M&M's lukewarm thimble is what I get it's I ioss I did say he was going to be a pre he's going to be a Madonna about the uh pre Madonna about the water being lukewarm I Lady Madonna in the refriger look I'm very thrilled you're buying the double money buying the double you knew it wasn't coming back to you I nothing what what I could have done to be a real jerk you wipe those cards oh wait so this means I get one of these because I delivered that right you delivered a tar when you had that upgrade yep I'm winning o oof speaking of upgrade I want it okay I'm going to spend a wealth to to wipe my market and I'm going to refill it what do I have out there I have stone that's kind of poopy but poopy don't love this don't love this fine gosh I really don't want to spend another money on this but I will here we go Zip Zap Zoom there it is okay so I'm going to play this one here which is I'm going to move this up into my warehouse to yet again oh hold on h i sh do that yet I will instead play this card here first the loading one which is going to allow me to move a stone over to this Camp mhm I got two Stone up there you know why that feels really good why because I'm about to do this I'll play my upgrade to move this into my warehouse which upgrades my stone tablet or my my um uh brick tablet I get to draw a card and I get two elephant movement immediately we do a favor load up those elephants full of stone one two oh that's pretty heavy I don't know if your elephant can move two elephant movement right now he's on a segue he's fine it's way heavy I would I would pay money to see an elephant on a Segway even though it's probably not you put one under each under each foot each foot would you get the ones without the handles then oh oh would you look at that kid me with this you look at that that really happen yes and that is also an influence that I get right there Z he thinks he's so influential uhhuh and then with uh riches I'm going to I have two money left so I'm going to buy why don't you buy the D oh I know go ahead and break my heart Michael Don't Go Breaking My Heart no I want to buy the jobs on a c okay I'm done right on let me let me let me upgrade you let's go here oh yes and then this goes here this goes here correct okay I did all that correctly yes uhhuh one thing you'll notice is that these spots right here are worth a point if you upgrade past them and as Mike is doing he's upgrading evenly they're each worth a point and a bonus two points if you get all of those unlocked W that's correct I knew that that was on purpose that was a long-term straty okay next thing I'm going to do is I believe in the fast track I Believe in a Thing Called Fast Track um let's go right here that's a shame well that's what you get that's what you get this Returns the camp backwards I would hate playing okay that's what you get all right um little ones replace throughout the game or they just yes there's a stack that will be replaced uh over the new rounds okay let's load Metallica's best album it's loading uh reload do you have a preference between the two um Master of Puppets okay the correct answer um so I've got two more here oh I I haven't loaded yet I'm going to load and that's from here you love any of those cards Wendy I love them all I'm sure you do Ivan in the chat said Whispers is his favorite card because this allows you to re uh to basically remove a SCE from one of the towers or one of the the zigurat you take it back and you get two points from it but it opens up that spot again yeah I hate that card I hate that card I don't think any of us have five gold yet so I don't need to wipe it so let me oh I need to refill this sorry I'm all out of or oh Mike finished Mike you finished the tower immedately get a point for that you're darn right I do that's right each Tower and the zigurat upon completion gives that person one point that is is darn toon and so um I'm just going to get this this what gets me a card or draw a card card to draw a card and a and a gold and this one is oh I'll take Teamster done all right I'm going to show you how job Works cuz he works hard but he's a part-time job this is only temporary seasonal so he's gone at the end I assume that means draw a card right draw a card you have one gold when you trash it it just returns to to the jobs pile I like this card I'm going to play this card right here and I get to put one of these resources out I'mma put out this tar right here which lets me gain a thing right I still get this benefit no no so you don't get the point you get to no no from this uh I no I because elant oh okay no fast TR so no point no n take it back put wood okay and what that means is it's basically blocking Chris okay yeah playing the blocking game with blocks of wood well wood is um horizontal anyway so I kind of shut myself off from that one yeah he could do more blue there no cuz blue is all vertical yeah so what this one allows you to move is something from the stall to your Camp when you cover this up okay okay I'm put this blue out and then I refill that immediately I presume more wood all right right then I am going to put something else out in my Camp maybe I maybe a stone I let's do that Ivan and Elijah When does the when does the kickstarter for this game go live and then my old font is going to move forward right there and then with my three do hairs I am going to purchase Chris I'm sure I misheard this you're saying saying that people can enter a contest and they'll get this game for free they will get this game for free people need get in on the contest get in on the contest oh jump into it here we are going to be building a meadow here and um using pollinators to pollinate the meadow and score points and Crush all opponents all right it's all I look for I'm say this isn't sound like cam game okay now we're oh there it is all right so on your turn you're going to do a series of um Mo a series of um steps over here on the Rondell eventually to pick a tile place it in the meadow score the um pedal points out here or or get the pedal points and then we're going to keep going right through that round until the end game is triggered which is one of these piles running out once one of the piles completely and I'll go through the steps here in a second we have all of our things on zero yeah so once one of these piles run out then everybody other than the person who triggers the end games gets one final turn and then we go into end game scoring end game scoring is be very very simple it's going to be all of these that you have which are going to be our points our pollen points and then if you look on your board as well wherever these petals end up on your track will be um equal to the points above the number okay one for each one all right so let's go over an actual turn here what you will do the first thing you're going to do is you're going to take the sun token and move it one clockwise here one pile all right so I would take the Sun and move it here from there you're going to select the uh tile that you want to play out into the Tableau here you you can always do the one right in front of the Sun for free or you can skip that one and go to the second one by paying uh the pedals off your track here equal equal to I'm sorry of the color of the one in front so for example if I wanted to take this one I would pay one red if I wanted to take this one I'd pay one red plus two more red if I wanted to take this one it'd be one red two red three purple oh my okay that would have to be like an amazing one for me to do such a amazing you can even take the one under it but that would be 10 total right 1 2 3 four five I'll give you five bucks I'm just saying you got options opening mov okay there you got you get well J on you cuz you're on zero there are notive dream wow all right so once you select the tile that you're going to place then you will place it out here placement rules are pretty simple a edge has to be on an edge and you have to grow at least one flower which means a flower has to match up on one of the um areas here okay by color as well not necessarily so they're just you have to grow a flower right have you read the rule book do you want the rule book you can't have it I'll figure out how to play it right now come in my own version here we go get your hand off the got to grow the flowers got so you have to grow a flower you place it out at that point you're going to check any flowers that you grew for this sake let's do it this way okay all right if you first thing you do is grow the flowers of the same color this is a Wild One um so it would be any color so here you would have three of the purple petals okay so you would move this up to the three and that's three after you do that for all of the placing tiles that you grew the flowers you look at ones that did not match for example here this one has two blues and it's going to no Blues over here so you have to pay two blue one yellow one purple oh my gosh right I know yeah but I don't have those so how would I play that you cannot do it then can't place it my friend can't place you may not you got stun okay got it all right you can't do that um and and you do that for any of them that you that you match there could be up to three or four flowers depending that you're growing depending on what's around okay after you place and you grow all the flowers around at that point then you're going to pollinate the meadow so this pollinator comes in that's going to be a number of things if you ever make and I'm just going to throw these out just you know this is going to be kind of nonsensical but you know whatever let's say that you did something like like that all right and you place this one here well that wouldn't actually match would it okay whatever let's say you do this and you make a hole at that point you would take these water tiles flip them over and fill this in you're making a pond these are either going to be blank uh points or bonus pedals that you get on the back side on the back side yes that you can't see it's hidden right now okay and again just to reiterate this is an illegal movement right here you as the whole maker get the rewards you do okay you would get all those rewards okay after you put all of these in here if these ever run out then it goes to just points for every one that you would place is one point so just to make sure I understand this really quickly if you did this you'd get four purple but you'd have to spend nope no it's only ones that grow so that you would just get four purple that's it Oh but you then you'd have to spend a Pur a blue and a yellow there not if you placed this one if you placed this one yes one you okay makes sense all right cool all right so you'll place it you'll fill those in the last thing you're going to do is you're going to well I guess the second last thing there's two parts in the next one the um how to say if you ever fully enclose a tile so let's say it's actually more something like this and you place this one here to close in this tile okay so you close in this tile now you get to score this tile that you fully enclosed it does not have to have a B on it this is just for the second part here okay so what you're going to do is you're going to look at the color in the middle and the number of sparkles they're called the shapes don't matter shapes are just for color blind uh friendly but you're going to see how many Sparkles there are you're going to have to pay that many of the color so here I would pay three yellow and if I pay those three yellow I get three points all right if you cannot pay the three yellow but you enclose the tile everybody else gets two points oh okay I think that's a good move Mike that should opening move that's my plan um I did that three times in this last game of this I played uh I did not win but it is an option so you're recommending it I highly recommend you guys do that a lot that'd be great the final thing is if it has a be on it whoever's color that be is they take it back and they get two points and then they get to replace the be out there you cannot place a bee on a a tile that's already enclosed and you cannot place it on our starting tile you would just place it and again it's out there for the duration of the game or until somebody encloses that at which point again you place it at the end of your turn at the you you place it at the end of your first turn because that's the first placement once it's on there it only ever moves when somebody encloses it and that's when you move it's kind of suck for you when yours doesn't move the whole game because I'm four I'm starting fourth no no no we're just never going to touch just you are if you like it then you got to put a B on it that's all I'm saying and that'll be it so we just keep and then it would go to the next person's turn which means this is going to go forward they again pay they place they're going to grow the flowers both pay getting the resources and then paying it and then again checking to see if anything's enclosed either by water or by tiles around so if I understand correctly for our first turn we're going to have to take the tile that's in front of the Sun that is yes correct that is yes correct that was a good sentence too nailed that is yes that is yes correct correct English hard me no go first no you're good I want you go first am I first I'll go first wow that was some really good uh engineering of going first yeah like I don't want to go first everyone's like no you should all right this one you know she gets that little trashy no I don't cuz I have to move this oh I'm sorry you are right I am wrong you did read the rule book first turn we do not move that so you are right have a stretchy one too and it also has a little bit of Blue On The Edge you like that little that's so much cooler than this gold well I did tell my wife to get me the most Bor she obviously picked this one out I got Webby fingers so they just dig and it it's uncomfortable you don't have a don't stay on I had a really cheap one for a little bit and I got s we're playing things in rings folks and oh this is bothering me greatly yeah yeah yeah over no they're not Circle oh we got to make rings again can't even look at this now the purpose of the game is to make three circles completely perfect symmetrically round we win Michelangelo did it right wasn't that how he got theine said he was that here's and he drew a circle and handed it in and then they measured and it was perfect and then they got the job and that's probably correct Jason you're a college educated person what does this what does this layout what does this symbology represent in my world in anybody's world but but as as I would say in this game are things that put into rings Jason I'm going to put the in your mouth chat up turn it off all right turn off no phones at the table so this is a game where we are playing with the idea of a v diagram for anybody that's unfamiliar with the idea of a Fen diagram is that you have ideas U Concepts things that belong in if it belongs in one category by itself it would be only in this part of the ring if belongs in a uh combination of the two it would go in here and if it belonged to all three of the circles it would go right here in the center that's a vend diagram it's often times used in language arts and things along those lines but today we're going to be doing it almost in that way we're going to be playing words I thought you're a history teacher not an English teacher I'm multifaceted all right and so in this game what we're going to be doing is I am the knower I know things I place rings and I know things okay okay and so um I am going to look at a series of five cards that I'm going to have of thing cards show a couple random ones up there okay it could be a a candle oh it work wow it looks like it's glowing it does that's amazing ice I'm really bad at picking these Ice Ice Baby Des hot dog oh what are you that's outrageous there we go and then pillow okay notice notice the ketchup on a hot dog it's mustard like every normal hot dog say there's no ketchup right take note everyone right okay and so based on those and a randomly chosen um yes here give me give me one of the difficult I was going to say there's one of the difficult ones I'll give you one of each of the difficult ones we're going to be playing with easy however we're playing the easy version of the advanced game which means we're including all three rings first two letters are in alphabetical order okay yep easy to clean not not my language in in those colors they would go into the particular area so basically if I had this behind me and someone played let's just put them out there really quick to give an you know desk okay so desk it would not fit in there because the oh it would fit in there that's crazy um is it easy to clean yeah it's not hard to clean a desk and you cannot take it on the airplane so I personally if someone had if they had placed it here I would say you're correct and they would then get another chance to play another one of their cards the way the game ends is when one of the other people other than the knower gets rid of all of their cards if however Wendy had placed it here I would not say a word I would just go I would look at it I'd study my i' go okay I'd put it into the place that is correct but then she would have to draw another card she always draw another card unless you've gotten it correct okay okay so that's a general concept of the game um the word category here just pop these up really quick too Tom with the with can you grab me the M all right okay so the word is about the spelling or structure it can be syllables it can be spelling it can be letters things along those lines the attribute is about the physical properties of whatever that object is the context is the trickiest one okay this is about maybe like the position it says or use of the object in society it's by far the most ethereal broad vague type of a thing but that's just something that you have to try to get into the mind of the knower as best as you can okay if you ever feel at the end after things are revealed that the knower was wrong depending upon who is the knower you can um yell at them if I'm the knower I'm infallible anybody else is a knower yell at them and tell them that they're a hack okay no it's fine I me so Wendy Jason you're a hack basically you're a hack Mike no it's not simp a let's get to an actual rule the other thing is that there are cards that don't fit in any of them those categories and there I'm just going to keep outside of the Rings in the nun area okay and in the NY yes yeah like all right
