[Music] [Music] say hi everybody I oh welcome welcome to my home and to my channel for another decorating video it feels good to be back thanks for not forgetting about me if you're returning and if if you're new and this is your first video then hi hello uh I am back officially with more decorating content for you surprise surprise surprise surprise do you guys know that song you seen that Meme going around of that was probably weird anyway way it feels so good to talk to you again and I hope the year has been treating you well I hope you're doing well thank you for being here today for taking a little bit of time out of your day to hang out with me here on my YouTube channel and decorate with me how have you been I hope you've been well the last time that you saw me here it was Winter and it's already well it's almost summer I guess it's not officially Summer according to the calendar but it already feels like summer here in Texas we have all already had at least two 100° days here where I live maybe more I know two for sure because my AC one of my AC's um had to be serviced and the day that it got hot in here I was like man what is the temperature outside it was 99 it was 99 uh but anyway it's it's already heating up here so I am definitely ready to uh get the house decorated and get the summer festivities underway here at my home I are you doing the same thing let me know are you decorating for summer are you traveling like what do you have planned this upcoming season I want to know so let me know in the comments below I spent all day yesterday decorating my home for the beginning of the summer season and so of course I want to share it here with you so without further Ado I'm going to stop rambling I forgot how to talk to the camera it's been so long but I'm going to stop with all the chitchat and uh let's just get to decorating [Music] I decided to start with the fireplace today I want to keep this area pretty simple I really like to use these cherry blossom trees here I think they bring a bit of softness to the space especially for Seasons like summer and spring I also tend to keep these standing lanterns here year round as well since I'm decorating for the 4th of July soon and I know that I'm going to want to do something fun with the mantle right now I just want to do something simple and not that detailed so I'm going to use these gold tapered candlesticks that I have here for now these come in a set from Amazon and I've used them a ton around my house this is one of my favorite places to decorate with them it's just so easy and it really does give that simple elegant look to a space when you don't want to just flood it with Decor even though we all know I like to flood every space with Decor but that that's just [Music] me looking up from my window City [Music] Lights everything that I'm using to decorate my home today are pieces that I've had from years prior with the exception of this blue and white Ginger ginger jar I actually ran into HomeGoods the other day in search of pasta sauce and I left with this ginger jar I also found the pasta sauce so it was a fruitful shopping trip I'm also using some of my favorite faux florals here these baby breath bundles are from Hobby Lobby and the Tulips are from Amazon hands down some of the best faux floral tulips I've purchased and I have purchased them from basically everywhere it can be hard to find realistic faux florals at a good price point but these are a really great mind so I have them Linked In the description in case you're looking to [Music] [Music] [Music] it took me like forever to get through to you if you've watched any of my other decorating videos then I'm sure you know I love to use my old book collection in my Decor in a lot of different ways I always have old books out it's just something that's very special to me because almost almost all of the books in my collection are from family they're family heirlooms I pulled a few blue books to use in my decor and this one was actually my great-grandfather's and as I was putting it out I was flipping through and I found a dollar his Dollar in this book which is so cool I just felt like it was him saying hello to me that was so special I didn't know that was in there so was a really nice little find on the corner of Baker Street I met you the first time and I have kept you in my mind since then you know when oh nothing compares to us it's like a constant r the undiscover landscape f it home you are you are golden territory let it show I recently found a new gold frame on Amazon so of course I had to add another picture of the doggos to the collection [Music] and I can focus on nothing but you what I feel it's like we have [Music] arrived nothing comes close and undiscover let get feel with you are you are a golden territory let it show let the world know and I discover let's f with hope you are you are going to territory you already on the pillow huh you already like it up there yeah that's good that's a good pillow huh this is being approved being approved of good I like that I love that it's being approved my throw pillows are for ever smooshed by dogs who can't wait to sit on them when I fluff them or change them out and uh I would not have it any other way [Music] I know you've heard it all before but you are the love of my [Music] life I knew when you came through the door that you are the love of my life [Music] nothing's hard everything is easy with you around no bombards everything is easy when you come around what do you see out there what is it oh Hank what is it what's out there okay I see anything hey buddy what do you guys think about letting me film and tell everyone about our Decor you think it's a good idea let's see a few times because I love to change them with the different holidays and Seasons I do get asked about the art prints from time to time and I make most of them using canva and my home printer including the ones that you see here nothing's hard everything is easy with you around no bomb bars everything is easy when you come around hold on now don't let go don't let go of me don't Let Go Don't Let Go nothing's hard everything is easy with [Music] you I also wanted to keep my tablescapes pretty simple and classic for the start of the Season as well the dishes that I'm using I've had since last year and I used them all last summer I just love them so much they're very practical but also pretty and they're actually on clearance right now so I will link them in the description they
