Sugar Family DIY Custom Fun Craft With Barbie and Ken Cupcake Kids Club

[Music] [Music] [Music] well I don't know the big feast is probably half it - about yes sugar wait a movie I don't know how am I supposed to know come on - dad have it oh no - mommy oh no there's nothing worse than a movie night without a movie where are sugars parents we're getting made over right now Sugar's parents are so busy working poor things her dad works at the airport and her mom is a yoga instructor but we're totally gonna make them over and get them ready for movie night starting off with sugars mom we're gonna get really fancy this makeover because I'm gonna give her a face up which is giving her a totally new face using some watercolor pencils fancy and of course we're gonna be giving her brand new hair so that is an entire process in itself we're gonna have to cut off her existing hair and here goes the blue part of our mom's hair and the pink part we're gonna get from this wig first step to that is getting her head off and trying not to break her neck plug I'm gonna do that by dunking her head in some hot water getting the glue that's inside her head to kind of melt and soft enough and that way we can remove the hairs a much easier so here she goes alrighty then her head should be a lot easier to take off let's see if we can just do it with and oh yeah I think we can Oh No looks like it's about to break cuz there's these little I like to call them little Christmas tree bits that hang on to of the head and we kind of need to maneuver those that way we don't break the neck plug but there it is those are the little Christmas tree bits it looks like either the Eiffel Tower or a Christmas tree let's go ahead and start cutting her hair now we're going to use some tweezers to get all that hair out [Music] and you guys can see how weird they look alright take a look at everything we took out of her head and now for the front part we're gonna route this side pink and this side blue and I'm not gonna get rid of the paint that's on here cuz these are our guidelines and that kind of helps me [Music] [Music] and here she is with her brand-new head of hair now all we gotta do is tame it so we're gonna dunk her into this water and now I'm gonna let her hair dry like this so we can say like this oh yeah and before we do that I'm gonna give her a bit of a haircut cuz that's a lot longer than I want her hair well it's kind of make her like I'll Rapunzel sugar mom now that her hair is dry I'm gonna put it up with an elastic and it's time for her face up I'm gonna take some nail polish remover and remove everything and this is kind of scary because I haven't done a completely new face on a Barbie like ever but there is a first for everything so let's see how this turns out taking some plastic food wrap I'm gonna protect her hair because we're gonna be prepping her face with the sealant and I don't want that sealant getting on her hair okay here we go [Music] starting off I'm gonna do some shading with my chalk pastel [Music] now I'm going to add some sculpting clay and make her some lips like the oMG dolls [Music] I'm gonna seal up her lips with some high gloss varnish that will give it a nice glossy look and I'm also gonna add that high gloss to her eyes taking some tulle fabric I'm gonna fill it up and make an outfit for her [Music] all right and for the remaining part of her skirt I have this golden Barbie skirt for her gold belt I have this gold ribbon and I'm gonna add it using a bit of fabric glue kill her shoes I have got these adorable flats we're gonna paint them gold [Applause] [Music] yes dad's turn now we're gonna give him outfit chain so I'm thinking shorts and a shirt so we'll paint the shirt with fabric paint and give it a new design kind of make it a little more like sugars theme now it's always tougher to do the dads because you're sitting there thinking mmm how do I make him look like an lol and stay true to the theme and just not look totally cray-cray so of that is the dilemma I'm gonna wear some gloves to keep things clean and know-it-all and while his shirt is drying I'm gonna give him some new hair because all of our dads are looking pretty much the same with our Ken dolls and how come Ken doesn't have an articulated version we need a poseable Ken to come out so we can have some movement in our lol dad so here we go I'm thinking about giving him a pompadour hairstyle I look cool [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] that story was funny hey kiddos what are you guys waiting for thank you uh I'm waiting for you guys to bring them oh hey sweetie what day and age are you from there is no place to bring movies from seems our little ones are thinking it's the 90s and we still have blockbuster we have sweetie we are not out looking for movies we thought you guys would choose a movie and we would come and watch it with you guys there's Netflix and Hulu and so many other ways to watch a movie even YouTube movies now yeah it's kind of awkward when your parents know more about technology than you do they were waiting here for nothing Wow why didn't we think of that so what are we watching yeah did you guys pick a good movie how come you guys tell us about Netflix when I can't even yell I just wanna say anything sugars parents are finally complete let's see what we did with them so for Mama sugar we brewed it blue and pink hair all over her head so it's a beautiful two-toned hair color I just left her hair down I thought it was pretty that way cuz you can just sploosh it and play with it however way you want we've got her halo from a sparkle series sugar and we gave her a totally brand-new face using watercolor pencils it was a first time for me so it wasn't super easy but I'm happy with the results and we also made her a custom a beautiful tool outfit she also has a gold skirt underneath to keep it from being super see-through and we painted her some gold flats for daddy sugar we gave him brand-new hair with some sculpting clay and he's got blue and pink in there painted a cool rock candy shirt for him with some checkers and golden pink he's got some shorts and gave him some sneakers and I made sure to finish everything off with some matte varnish to seal in all of our hard work and there you have it the sugar family is now complete I hope you guys enjoyed this customization of our lol sugar family I hope
