Studying at Swansea University

I obviously loved all the beaches that we can go to I often go with my friends and by myself just to sit there and kind it's quite meditative if I go by myself I could just kind of let go there's just so many different things that you just look for you don't often like when you first come you don't realize that there's like little hidden gems it's just a lot of culture going on as well which I really have found to live so I'm Nancy I do biochemistry degree at Swansea University and I chose Swansea because I came on the open day and it was such a beautiful day I spoke to the lecturers and they were just so approachable and it just made it seem so much less intimidating than uni open days that I've been on this course has given me mainly presentational skills I feel talking in front of large groups to my peers and academics learning to work in a professional lab with other PhDs and masters students have really helped me balance my organizational skills and learning about the safety aspects as well and being fully responsible within the lab students can expect to make so many new friends as soon as I get here the freshers week I've found has been particularly amazing at Swansea uni and then when I joined the societies I joined the student media which was an amazing experience because I'd never even thought about sitting in a radio studio and then a couple of weeks into joining I was doing my own radio show the theatre society has really made me feel very welcome anyone that auditioned got apart basically I feel like joining societies at uni you don't have to you can develop new skills rather than just developing all the skills you [Music]
