Student solo with engine failure …crashes at a campground! #atc #aviation

contact approach 7845 I'm having engine issues out here 78 445 say again you're having issues with your uh engine yes issues with the engine country 8193 ground 7 8445 Roger there's um Robertson 12 to 1:00 and about 10 miles there 78444 78 445 bradle approach are you able to maintain altitude 445 7445 Roger Robertson's 12 to 1:00 and about 10 miles 7445 be able to make it to Robertson 12 1:00 and about 10 miles negative engine is off 445 water barri is just behind you 45 nearest airport about 3:00 and 5 miles it's Waterberry airport I'm a student pilot solo and I am panicking 7844 4 5 7445 Roger just stay calm um and tell me if you can see the airports about 2:00 and 5 miles now that's your closest airport I do not have airport in site 7844 7445 so just um starting to make your way to that airport um trim out for Best Glide it's about 2:00 to 3:00 and about 5 miles 1 18 z um ref flying with 445 behind you guide them into an airport if possible 12808 Z about 10 miles behind you student pilot solo uh lost an engine they're 4700 ft uh you want to char guide them into airport 120 18 Z if you like to assist um 445 uh 5 miles Southwest you now it's the grass grass strip can you advise on a heading for that please 78 445 445 so just heading 21 1 0 2 1 0 78 445 45 it's a 1 735 Runway airport 1:00 and about four miles now heading 23078 445 445 it's a grass strip approximately 2,000 ft long affirmative 745 and uh it's November 41 for the airport then uh 445 it's about 11:00 and 2 to 3 miles do you have in sight 7445 7445 Roger I look good uh it should be visible shortly 11 to 12 7 Runway should I maintain 7445 turn 445 uh so just 10° left it's uh going to be right in front of you so two 0 turn 445 just fly your PR uh you should see it shortly it's a 17 Runway so that might set you up a little bit better 4 5 just be advised it is a grass strip so it's going to be at 12 to 1:00 right now Bott a mile roger5 445 the elevation at the airport's 850 it's uh should be right in front of you now about a half mile in front of you maybe uh just slightly to the right 445 how you doing I'm okay but I still have a negative on that visual 7 445 it should be right below you now um you're right over it right now 180 that traffic is now about 11:00 and 5 miles they're looking for water Barry I don't know if you've ever been there have any advice uh I've never been there and I just got inside with that uh aircraft 28 Z 445 you're right above it right now um it should be right below you grass strip 2,000t it's 1735 Runway Roger 78 45 still scan or 445 it appears you're going past it right now suggest you uh turn right heading 0 two 0 turning right and 445 it should be out your right window when you turn I've shown you about a half mile just Southwest of it so turn right hitting 050 suggested it should be off your right side you're just uh slightly above it and west of it Roger I have it Insight 78 445 78 445 very good um set up as you need and uh let us know if you need anything can you please contact pipy Tower 445 we will pipy Tower no problem thank you 78 445 and 445 you're doing great um keep it in sight and uh keep going all right 445 this is 12180 you have any questions I got you Insight I'm right above you me know Roger thank you 7 5 33 45 you're doing great or you set up to land all right 445 I would join a downwind right now so start um and right base from there so I would what's your altitude right now 445 all right yeah so start heading to the airport right now pit for Best Glide pitch for Best Glide turn right right now for the for the airport approach 121 uh 128 Z that plane just went down in the trees short of the runways 18 Z Roger appreciate the help appreciate the help if you can help um any uh indication of exactly where they are at appreciate it 280 appreciate the help um can you see anything else that would help brother I just got contact with that plan there was there any fire November 12180 is there any fire again for 12 came broken 180 was there any fire negative fire 122 thank you [Music] [Music]
