All the Pantera songs are heavy as fuck. asking to pick one song is so difficult because they all have their power. And that's what makes them the best band ever
Dude... Probably the toughest intro to any metal album I can think of.
Listen to the live version from the Far Beyond Driven 20th anniversary album, I think it’s even tougher than the album version.
In fact, most of all the the live Pantera songs that were well recorded sound tougher than the albums. The anniversary editions are well worth owning.
Listen to the Cowboys from Hell 20th anniversary live album (it also has a demo album with the remastered release). It’s bad ass. It all just sounds way more badass live. And the demo is really cool, even has a song that they didn’t release called “The Will to Survive”. It’s not a great song, but it’s cool, perhaps too glam metal when they were trying to move away from that style so they didn’t release it.
