[Music] most NBA teams the first eight and nine guys are pretty much solidified already for they looking for somebody to field from 915 I've seen guys take it from here and make it all the way to the NBA so know that it can happen for you and your dream could be realized we're from Vancouver where you live you won it why not just fly loft improvement it's like humming wall my last shot try to get in and then yay I'm a little more [Applause] I knew when I was actually good at basketball like better than a lot of kids around me I think at the age of talking 12 13 years old especially in Vancouver during that time they had three ball players and basketball players right but they didn't have that that New York flavor and when I first saw the album mixtape that kind of blew my mind I was like man I want to play like that so I trained like that right I took that into high school basketball and I did not get a lot of love during that time always too flashy he's not coachable so I knew then what the mentality was there just went ready for the notic with a street ball team from Vancouver BC showing our flesh showing / pulling out a lot of trick man I bet I played a lot of street ball game play against ball collector professor hot sauce playing with and against the best street ball players in the world people like man like they're so fascinated what I'm doing Instagram with poppin I want to play professional basketball street ball is not going to take me there I have to go to school do something and I decided to go play a marriage anniversary yeah absolutely I had to break records instead so people think oh my god peak is action play basketball I became a deadly player because I combined with fundamentals to street roll that helped me to be one of the top players in Denmark I had a little bit of bad luck that in terms of making in a bigger league I did just make any sense it doesn't make any sense and sometimes it bothers me you know I got two kids now I got a wife you know she's telling me hey like gotta have a job that secured a lot of scale understand I told you I totally agree what she's saying you know she wants to curity she want consistent income coming in but I'm a basketball player I've been playing ball since I was 7 years old so it's really tough for me to someone to really try to tell me to change Oh I'm 32 years old I'm still young I'm still healthy I can't stop man I can't stop I just need a shot so that's why I'm here I'm trying out for the Raptors 905 billington the handle smoke is at the three pound ball let anybody else try to dribble at there's no way it's going that fast no way okay let's go Florida three gimme three we trained demar derozan for two summers you know throughout those years of seeing you know the highest level guys are played for Team USA come through the door I've been onto a 90 percent of the time you know when hardwork meets opportunity that's the same thing as luck and that's the story of joy that those things just never came together when I played against some X NBA players and played with NBA guys practicing with them we played against your wall Crawford in Seattle pro-am B's like man I've been watching you for years man Jamal Crawford telling me that like literally that's when I think I'm you know listen I can definitely in the NBA you know you're the guy with experience sir but do you have the experience to bring whoever you're playing with together yes because that's what but at the end of day that's what they're looking for right at your position yeah [Music] are you doing hey good to see you negative when the best in the businessman should have been chipping in that three letters a long time ago yeah right and being what job I mean every hood in America or in Canada got some guys that feel like they're supposed to be in the NBA it's the reality check like it's not as easy as it looks [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] tomorrow when we cut down to maybe our 24 25 guys that compete level will be up there we can really see what guys can do what to do [Applause] got enjoy yeah I got a flight out at 9:00 well if you want to play one of me making we we got to come my son's birthday malls really important right both the parties I got so my wife on the hospital taken oh my but I don't know what I got [Music] it's frustrating because like I went out there and I get more it's not like I play Oh cause I felt like like okay yeah I play like this moment the damn light like seriously gonna like that guy all this all he did this is all he did which is okay cool that's what are you looking for alright but man and then we got the same guy that makes it telling me dude you're so hard to guard dude you play like friggin Westbrook man you doesn't want to make the team so I know when he got pick you surprised I definitely know that when he looked at like like whole I got picked like like you try to like find a reason why we just can't because you don't know what's going on behind the scene and that's what it's really frustrating for me maybe today it's a age thing maybe oh uh really we can't we develop them maybe let's see maybe has two years roughly ago okay but you should look at it - listen - dude this guy's freaking worked his ass off let's give him a shot let's just give him a try but hey it is what it is man I'm going to China so I'll uh that's why I use all my energy it's just just go kill it [Music] China yeah mom in some of the class that you run up there oh my do high school players and I train University players too there's all in small groups or is it like a pretty big group how big fifty kids from my one all at once why not be a lot of pain I just hate needles just doing the street ball stuff now it's kind of going back going back how I started so which is great and I think I have to happen okay Oh hard dogs man I feel like you said like so many times to where it was like looking good and like he's like left it all on the cord and I've done his best and like we're kind of thinking like okay like it has to be or like or even like when he was in Toronto thing like talking on it's like yeah there's like a couple guys over there really good I think we were the top three or the top whatever and then just works out differently and I think instagrams like cool and like built huge falling but like I'm not quite sure how that translates into like financial games at this point if I never did Instagram or any social media stuff I don't think I'll be able to go to China I don't think I'll be able to go back to Japan and you know just kind of continue because now that doors closed fake that doors kind of closed for the rapid enough count was closed I feel like if I can switch from the like him playing to like him using it as like a business thing they might yeah it's exciting I feel like yeah yeah it's a closed door like we're almost feel like mourning the planking part of it so it's not I'm not really there yet but morning McClane oh they're going finally here just playing in general that's cool yeah you want to play that's a little more no I'm saying like it's still hard getting over the fact that like as hard as you work that you can't oh I'm I'm not you like confident okay any kind of basketball anything at this point [Music] okay you're on her nothing laughing wow I thought that for a second oh wow your eyes for daddy because that is not playing basketball and you know how much he loves it that's what the anatomic sniff sniffing gotta go gotta go out no Lenore no yes coffee stuff cuz I think she I think she's kind of not kind of I know she's fed up of basketball stuff and you know I've got my put her to do a lot right but this is like why like I say this is my ad versus what I do and I work too hard to give it up and I have to take this opportunity I can't see oh no I can't go I'm not going to go you know you know the street ball is that that that street ball atmosphere this evil environment is always always lingering like I said like I try to I try to push it away you know playing on as I try to push it away just say I don't apply like that no more because people look at you differently you know like not knowing if you get this rush you just get this but when you hear the crowd wound like this after I'm going all going crazy you just want to do more like you just want to do more if you want to hear more of that right oh my god and then the emcee goes on the mic then like on the mic and he's going crazy the crowds going crazy your teammates are going crazy the other point is going crazy the guy that you dropped like laughing right because it's just like it's just like it's just like this is that this is this little-ass was all about [Music] [Music] you
