days after moving in he started looking into my window [Music] it just kept happening again and again well look who's here again he just kept coming closer and closer to the window and that's just opened it up i used to say hello [Music] then i used to sort of you know wave at him and go oh yeah see you later [Music] my flatmate sent me a picture he used to wait outside my window until i came home i sort of started letting him in oh hello there come in hey buddy [Music] it was like an open house he would just come in and check out the space and he's back hey buddy [Music] bye but then there was a day where he wouldn't leave [Music] well so at some point when he started hanging out all the time i was worried that what if he's someone's cat looking for him he's lost so i made a poster you know is this your cat if if so he's cheating on you i put it around the neighborhood and i put it on a facebook group but no one no one said anything and apparently according to my flatmates and neighbors he was just always around it wasn't a matter of do i keep him he wants to stay here he's he's my cat now [Music] i used to wake up to seeing him looking at me through the window and now i wake up with him next to me in my bed [Music] i have trouble sleeping a lot he he definitely helps me sleep he would stop me from tossing and turning because he would sit right on my chest it kind of calmed me down because then i couldn't just you know look at my phone or do something to distract myself because we have a way of communicating he's a cat i'm a person but there's ways we can interact and i really enjoy those little moments because they take me out of my own head there was a moment where i was able to fly home and see my family and so i was gone for about three weeks because i had to quarantine and it was the longest i've been gone um since i met birch animals i and luckily my girlfriend could look after him so we just kind of did facetime do you still remember me so it's probably the biggest compliment you can get is if a cat chooses to hang out with you [Music] you
