the most canal city in the uk more than venice apparently yeah we know you guys like the water challenges so we've come to birmingham there's a long stretch of canal and hopefully today one of us is going in [Music] hopefully we're all going yes we want to try and push this one a little bit more going for that full submersion they look like there was a spot over there but it kind of looks private there's two people right here you might have to go around the other way i'm out here straight ahead of you [Music] one thing to add this water doesn't look greatest of all city rivers very murky [Music] not two minutes down down the canal we found like a chimney this is a long one yeah it's quite long it feels like you could do it i'm not as strong as i used to be i think i'm going in i guess that's the point of this video isn't it doing these things that we're unsure about the one that we did the other day in uh camden that was quite hard yeah and that's like a quarter of that so aggie effort man at least what a great start to the day we shouldn't have convinced him to do it he knew he was going in but we were like you got it sash you got it that is the levels that we're going in on this this challenge today sash thought he was going in and he still did it and he was correct there you go we've all got to do a challenge like that today then like i think i'm going in and you still do it well our first full submerge of the day not even 10 minutes down the canal sasha powell reset and ready for action as sash has now set the bar we need to match it this challenge is just to get over the water we've come to a dead end now we can't go down there because it's private houses so we might as well try and get across like this land here so we've decided to go to the lip lowest rather than sending it up where the bricks are unsafe we've got some wobbling toes on the side oh like a cat i like that a lot wow wow wow wow you know me i like my running crease you know you mean chewy chewy chewy yeah i made chubby chippy oh standing it just doesn't feel nice i'm about to go one step you've got many options in the parkour arsenal for a gap like this you've got a kick jump you've got plyo jump you've got a rolling player to to be technical about the difference here you've got uh straight up standing you go i don't [ __ ] you know flip that [ __ ] ah [ __ ] hey oh [ __ ] much time have you spent on google maps researching this place and trying to scout the spots three hours really yeah up and down so many times and now i'm here it's kind of like it's just the more clear version that's why we've driven three and a half hours to come here nice little canal gap here pretty easy but there's some connecting walls little bridge we'll see if we can get creative get a little bit fruity and come up with some ideas around this area you're fine yeah absolutely fine mate [Music] and then challenge number two is the running bastard felt a bit sketchy though but i mean i made them i didn't get wet last point this video don't get wet and now we join sasha as he continues to pursue his ladder jump ladder goat what are you like ladder ago yes did you feel your feet twist yeah those are weird i didn't like that taking off like that on a 360. like that is so hard [Music] nice [Music] wow [Music] bit of a risky climb up that not sure had too much other choice but it days that is so hard to climb up on just let everyone know it's got nothing here horrible horrible climb up for it yes great fun yeah could be going in here you got door on that gopro this is a hard thing to stick this is a sketchy wooden thing just above the surface perfect that is grim think straight down and if you overdo it you've got the forward that's why i'm saying that i said it's sash earlier and that would i'm sorry that's fine toby get on in you go [Music] nice i'm dry and he's dry so like 200 meters down the canal just left the camera on the floor for half an hour and nobody took it wow oh here we go here we go saw our army we have found ourselves the next big boy challenge eek one two up coming in the other way but that that is that's that's too big up yeah i don't think you can do that at least uh hit this pre up stick that stick it quick oh my days this is a little depth checker if someone were to fall in would they be okay it's not that high it's not oh there you go [Music] oh there's always a little bean road you can buy these online for 50p depth depth checker store store along so concrete lip don't fall back on that if you are going to fall back also there's a weird little thing over there being everywhere you get there there you go measure 14. it might be under 40. i think the water plays with your mind like it's looking bigger than for sure opening up benjamin k enough here we go one bank stick thumbs up i'm i'm hoping for it but i am also realistic i don't know how much i'm putting in but i'm just going for one yeah [Music] oh not bad [Music] that was so yeah this is what he's got in mind here god knows how he's getting back i don't know i wonder if he's thought of that toby have you thought about how you're getting back so it's actually two things if you embark on the first challenge you have to automatically embark on the second once i'm there i'll be solid though just spin you off on a crazy [Laughter] what are you saying about this then bob who would have known always check your surfaces [Music] getting challenges ticked off yep nicely done you went slower and blocked better i think i think sometimes for me if i go too fast i don't get that efficient block take 10 off the speed 100 block i went for speed on that one and zoomed straight out the wall didn't quite get the height i needed but i'm dry so that's enough you suggested this challenge literally 10 seconds ago and now i'm on the edge go don't do it that's going to be heighty but [ __ ] it yeah nice one hand with one hand with one hand [Music] [Music] come on [Music] right so it says do not climb do you really need a sign with a picture of some razor wire on it to let you know that there's some razor wire that you can see clearer than you can see the sign let me go and wall pop this wall real quick oh [ __ ] luckily that sign was there i was just about to climb over this wall yeah she's trying parkour for the very first time yes i'm just going for this running jump you'll see it in about 30 seconds so no point me really explaining ah but thanks anyway i tried storage army oh bang on try from the very first step that would be my tip for that one yeah i would rarely take this on but in doing so you all know yourself and now you know yourself you're like yoda then know yourself you will you will know yourself you did oh god oh my god only through failure can one knows myself mr batman what the [ __ ] we are approaching big man cat pass pre-challenge oh that looks so scary oh solid no it might break in the middle this challenge is the cat pass to the pipe this is intimidating it's definitely a level up from the other stuff we've done today unfortunately that's come at the end of the day but i guess it works as a bit of a crescendo oh my goodness this is so gnarly oh right okay i think that's so hard to stick though how deep is this that's another thing that's the next poor call then is uh check the depth i mean i haven't been in yet today so i feel like i'm obliged to go check the depth i think it's harder to go in like this than any other way toby i hope you realize we've got to do this now benj testing the waters looks quite exotic actually there's like a couple of bricks i'd go in feet first i think just saying i think we're pretty all right it's just there is rubble that i can't clean up oh mate get down there so the depth is definitely not ideal it's not ideal but like before you're all like idiots what are you doing we know how to land in shallow water pretty much i've overdone it you could save it if you didn't overcook it that much kind of thing sensing the vibe i feel like benji is going to be the first to cap past this wall toward the pipe yes friends come on go on bench moment of truth [Music] you're right no benj went for it though he went for it he didn't think he thought this was too big so i put my brakes on because i put too much in good job for still getting over did you hit the bottom i didn't hit perfect stick pretty chill man it's pretty chill just reel it in i did hit my back on the floor like fully smacked my coccyx on the floor but in rubble but it's fine that sounds horrible yeah do you for you and very exciting which would you rather do the cat possible head height 360. i don't think i can make the catfish said it like the narrowness of the canal was a bit sketchy but for me that would be such a big issue like 360 i travel left to right here you can't do that because if you do that and overdo it you come down into the comfort into the concrete yeah fair play big time our audience sasha powell's redemption jump come on mate we're in the redemption this is a perfect stick coming up two times going in already it's not gonna be a third let's go sash [Music] [Music] three as to stay on and it just made it worse going into the water i didn't think you could get closer than that last go that was so ridiculously close sadly close falling into a canal full of trash
