'S VERY SERIOUS. BACK TO YOU ALL RIGHT. GOOD TO KNOW. THANK YOU. AND ALSO GOOD TO KNOW THIS FORECAST. BUT A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE OUTDOOR PLANS. YEAH OF COURSE. SO MANY OF YOU HEADING OUT THIS EVENING AND KEVIN IS TRACKING THE POTENTIAL FOR SOME NASTY WEATHER. YEAH. YOU KNOW RIGHT NOW WE'VE GOT STEAMY SUNSHINE BREAKING OUT AND WE ALWAYS SAY THAT'S NOT NECESSARILY A GOOD THING. ON SOME DAYS. AND THAT'S THE CASE AGAIN AROUND HERE TONIGHT. NOW IT'S A CONDITIONAL THREAT. WE'LL HAVE TO SEE HOW THE ATMOSPHERE ACTUALLY RESPONDS TO THE SUN HERE. IN THE PAST COUPLE OF HOURS THAT STARTING TO BREAK OUT ACROSS THE REGION. WILL IT BE ENOUGH TO SUSTAIN ANOTHER ROUND OF THUNDERSTORMS? WELL THAT'S WHAT I HAVE IN THE CARDS RIGHT NOW. WE'VE GOT SOME STEAMY SUNSHINE OUT THERE, BUT I DO THINK MORE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE HERE TONIGHT, ALONG WITH THE THREAT FOR SOME OF THEM TO STILL BE ON THE SEVERE SIDE AS WELL. WE DID HAVE THE EARLY DAYS SEVERE WATCH FOR FOLKS DOWN IN PARTS OF KENTUCKY. THAT WATCH HAS BEEN ALLOWED TO EXPIRE. AND AS YOU CAN SEE AROUND HERE RIGHT NOW, THINGS ARE VERY QUIET. THAT'S A LITTLE DECEPTIVE, THOUGH, BECAUSE OUT TO OUR WEST IS WHERE WE NEED TO KEEP AN EYE ON RENEWED THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY. THERE ARE NEW STORMS DEVELOPING TONIGHT NORTH OF I 70, AND WE NEED TO KEEP AN EYE ON WHAT HAPPENS OUT TOWARDS INDIANAPOLIS AND BLOOMINGTON BECAUSE OUT TO OUR WEST AND EVEN HERE NOW, IF YOU WERE TO STICK YOUR HEAD OUT, WE'RE STARTING TO GET SOME DECENT CLEARING AND IT ONLY TAKES A FEW HOURS OF DAYLIGHT. STILL LEFT. REMEMBER, WE'VE GOT THE SUN UP PROBABLY TILL ABOUT EIGHT IN A LOT OF AREAS. THAT MAY BE ENOUGH JUST TO ADD A LITTLE JUICE TO THE ATMOSPHERE, AND YOU CAN SEE TEMPERATURES ARE STARTING TO RESPOND BY THE FACT THAT IT'S THE WARMEST. IT'S BEEN ALL DAY. SO MOST OF US ARE NOW SEEING TEMPERATURES BACK INTO THE 80S, STILL INTO THE 70S SOUTHEAST OF CINCINNATI. SINCE THAT'S WHERE THE RAIN HUNG ON A LITTLE LONGER. HERE'S A LOOK AT FUTURECAST. IT'S DOING A PRETTY GOOD JOB RIGHT NOW, KEEPING US QUIET. BUT WATCH WHAT HAPPENS AS WE GET AFTER 6:00 OR SO. IT SUGGESTS THAT NEW SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL DEVELOP AND THEN CRUISE THROUGH THE AREA, AND DEPENDING UPON, YOU KNOW, THE INTENSITY, SOME OF THESE STILL COULD BE SEVERE WITH THE THREAT FOR WIND. AND I CAN'T RULE OUT EITHER A VERY LOW END TORNADO THREAT STILL POSSIBLE HERE THROUGH 830 9:00. NOTICE THROUGH TEN. SO AFTER 10 OR 11, THINGS WILL GET QUIET AGAIN. AGAIN, IT'S A CONDITIONAL CONCERN BECAUSE THOSE STORMS HAVE YET TO DEVELOP. SO WE'LL NEED TO KEEP AN EYE ON THAT. AND THEN OVERNIGHT IT'S QUIET AND THEN ON FRIDAY MAYBE A FEW EARLY DAY SHOWERS AND THEN A FINAL ROUND OF STORMY WEATHER FRIDAY AFTERNOON. AND EVENING, WHICH AGAIN, I THINK TWO COULD BRING US YET ANOTHER CHANCE FOR MAYBE SOME STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS TOMORROW AFTERNOON AND EVENING, ESPECIALLY FROM THE METRO, ARE KIND OF THE I 75 CORRIDOR AND POINTS EAST ACROSS THE AREA AS THIS WILL BE A FAIRLY STRONG COLD FRONT, ESPECIALLY FOR EARLY JULY BECAUSE WE'VE GOT VERY COMFORTABLE WEATHER SLIDING IN HERE. BEHIND THAT FOR THE REST OF THE WEEKEND. SO HERE'S A LIVE LOOK OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW. IT IS CERTAINLY WARM. IT IS STEAMY AS I MENTIONED, IT'S THE WARMEST. IT'S BEENEN ALL DAY AND WE'VE STILL GOT SEVERAL MORE HOURS OF DAYLIGHT. SO I THINK TEMPERATURES WILL CLIMB A LITTLE BIT MORE HERE THIS EVENING. WE'LL KEEP AN EYE OUT THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS, ESPECIALLY AFTER 6 OR 7. I THINK, FOR THE RENEWED DEVELOPMENT OF SHOWERS AND STORMS. SO IT'S STILL A WEATHER IMPACT. NIGHT HUMID WITH MORE STORMS POSSIBLE 72 TOMORROW. MORE RAIN AND STORMS HUMID. WE'LL TOP OUT IN THE MID 80S FOR AN AFTERNOON HIGH. HERE'S A LOOK AT YOUR DAY PLANNER. I THINK THERE COULD BE A LITTLE RAIN IN THE MORNING. AND THEN YET AGAIN, THE THREAT FOR MAYBE SOME STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. HERE'S YOUR SEVEN DAY FORECAST. AT LEAST WE CONCLUDE THIS HOLIDAY STRETCH SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY WITH SOME VERY NICE WEATHER. HIGHS WILL ONLY BE IN THE 80S. OVERNIGHT LOWS DOWN INTO THE 60S, BUT NOTICE IT DOES GET WARM AGAIN NEXT WEEK. WE TOP OUT AROUND 90 WITH MAYBE ANOTHER CHANCE FOR RAIN. BY THE TIME WE GET TO TUESDAY.
