AREA TODAY TO MAKE A FINAL ASSESSMENT OF THE STRENGTH OF THE TORNADOES. >> ALWAYS TRACKING ALWAYS ALERTING THIS IS STORM TEAM 8. >> THAT LINE OF STORMS THAT CAME THROUGH IOWA. IT WAS THE SAME LINE THAT CAME THROUGH HERE AND PRODUCED A STRONG WINDS. THESE ARE SOME OF THE WIND GUSTS THAT WE HAD HERE LAST NIGHT GRAND RAPIDS OFFICIALLY OUT OF THE FORD AIRPORT 62 MILES AN HOUR HOWLAND THAT MUSKEGON WAS UP INTO THE UPPER 50'S GRAND HAVEN THE 57 AND BATTLE CREEK IN LANSING AT 53. HERE'S HOW MUCH THE TEMPERATURES CHANGE WITHIN THE PAST 24 HOURS. WE'RE DOWN 24 DEGREES HERE FROM 24 HOURS AGO AND LOOK AT SOUTH HAVEN THERE AT 33 DEGREES COLDER THIS WINTER CERTAINLY BROUGHT IN SOME CHILLIER AIR. IT'S GOING TO BE HANGING AROUND HERE FOR A WHILE. NOTHING IN STORM TRACK LIVE ACROSS OUR AREA. THE CURRENT TIME AND THAT THE PRESIDENT SAID PRECIPITATION IS STILL A DISTANCE AWAY DOWN TOWARD KANSAS CITY. BUT THAT WILL PRETTY MUCH RACE NORTHEAST AND ANY TIME AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT WE'LL HAVE A CHANCE OF SOME MIXED PRECIPITATION DEVELOPING IT WILL THEN GO ALL OVER TO SNOW. HEAVY WEATHER STAYS TO OUR SOUTH. THAT'S ANOTHER TORNADO WATCH IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHERN MISSOURI. ARKANSAS AND EASTERN OKLAHOMA DRY WEATHER EXPECTED HERE THIS EVENING WITH DIMINISHING MAX MIX TO SNOW TOMORROW BY ONE TO 4 INCHES. THE FARTHER NORTH. YOU ARE THE MORE SNOW. THERE WILL BE AND THE FURTHER SOUTH. YOU ARE MORE. THE PRECIPITATION WILL BE IN THE FORM OF RAIN. MID WEEK IS GOING TO BE DRY TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY, 3 DRY DAYS IN A ROW HERE COMES THE PRECIPITATION. YOU CAN SEE THE GREEN COLORS. THIS MAY START AS RAIN. I THINK TEMPERATURES WILL BE A FEW DEGREES ABOVE THE FREEZING MARK. SO I DON'T THINK THIS IS GOING TO TURN TO ICE ON THE ROADS, BUT THEY WILL BECOME WET. WATCH HOW QUICKLY THIS GOES FROM GREEN TO BLUE DOWN TO THE SOUTH. TEMPERATURES WILL BE PRETTY CLOSE TO 30 TO A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW THERE. THE BLUE IS ALL SNOW. AND AGAIN, WATCH AREAS NORTH OF GRAND RAPIDS AND HOW THAT THE SNOW CONTINUES HERE. WELL, SOUTH OF GRAND RAPIDS. THIS WILL BE A MIX. MORE WILL BE IN THE FORM OF RAIN. WE'RE STILL SNOWING HERE AT NOON TOMORROW AND THEN THE PRECIPITATION CLEARS OUT PRETTY QUICKLY BY 3 O'CLOCK TOMORROW AFTERNOON. IT'S PRETTY WELL GONE. WE'RE STILL UNDER THE CLOUDS AND WE'LL STAND OF THE CLOUDS HERE FOR MONDAY NIGHT WE WAKE UP TUESDAY MORNING. IT'S STILL CLOUDY. BUT THEN THE CLOUDS CLEAR OUT. WE SHOULD SEE QUITE A BIT OF SUNSHINE HERE FOR TUESDAY AFTERNOON. HERE'S HOW MUCH SNOW IS ACTUALLY GOING TO FALL. NOT MUCH DOWN AT THE INDIANA BORDER. STURGIS HALF AN INCH. MUCH OF THE PRECIPITATION THERE OR IS THAT WILL BE IN RAIN, MAYBE AN INCH FALLING A KALAMAZOO. SOME OF THAT NELSON CONTACT ON THE ROADS. BUT ONCE YOU GET FROM GRAND RAPIDS OFF TO THE NORTH. WE COULD SEE A COUPLE 3 INCHES OF SNOW. AND AGAIN, SOME SLUSHY ROADS ARE CERTAINLY POSSIBLE WINDS TO CRANK UP TO ABOUT 14 MILES AN HOUR HERE TOMORROW AFTERNOON OUT OF THE NORTH. THERE SHOULD BE A WET SNOW, THOUGH. SO I DON'T ANTICIPATE MUCH IF ANY DRIFTING AT ALL. HERE'S YOUR FORECAST. 36 TOMORROW IS ALL I'M LEFT TO STRUGGLE TO GET THAT WARM 90% CHANCE OF THAT MIX CHANGING OVER TO SNOW HERE OVERNIGHT TONIGHT. NICE DAYS COMING UP FOR TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, A LITTLE CLOUDIER BUT NOT BAD. AND THEN THE NEXT SYSTEM BRINGS IN SOME SNOW. THAT COULD BE A COUPLE OF INCHES FOR US FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY. SATURDAY'S HIGH TEMPERATURE HERE JUST 28 DEGREES. SO I HOPE, YOU KNOW, PUT THE SKIS AWAY CAST OF YOU MAY BE ABLE TO GET OUT
