[Music] thank you very much foreign foreign Raw goes up against two Nitro segments Ming vs Lex liver and a Hulk Hogan promo Bret Hart comes out and he's in his complete paint gear tonight and he's also wearing plain white boots the coloring on this episode of Raw makes Brad's run gear really bright also Jon makes fun of Brad's white boots at the commentary table so there's plenty of discussion about Bret Hart's gear this week on reliving the war we have a supermarket in the audience with a sign that says Sean just does not bring in the big ratings to be fair he's probably right we see a clip of Jim cornette taking a Tombstone Piledriver on Superstars before our main event gets underway remember take our Invader started a feud last week on Raw when Vader attacked the Phenom on the entrance way theater overpowers The Hitman after a tie up the two lock horns again and Brad takes a beating in the corner the match goes to the outside where Brad turns it around and Vader gets launched into the ring steps Brad then jumps on the steps and Vader takes a shot to the back Sean meanwhile is pondering over the saying the man they call Vader hpk wants to know who they are Brad continues to punish Vader on the outside and Sean continues to bury Bread on commentary it's all about Brad being dishonest whereas Sean is more upfront about his intentions a few strikes from Bret Hart and Vader finds himself in a wrist lock Brett brings it down to the mud where focus is shifted on the Vader's arm and shoulder Vader then decides to put an end to this nonsense and the Hitman takes a hard clothesline from the big man more of those signature Vader forearms in the corner The Hitman takes a short arm clothesline and just after Vader comes off the top rope and Brad takes all the impact we see Stone Cold Steve Austin watching the March backstage after a commercial break Witter hits another top rope a big hug on Brett and I have to mention Jerry Lawler's next line here is wither set spread up for a splash Jerry once reminded what Jose's son's name is Vince says Pete and Lawler says he should have been named hose B so there would be a Jose and a hose B it's so that I popped for it Brad takes a metal rope Splash from Vader but he manages the cat guide Vader goes for a Vader bomb but Brad gets the names up hard then goes on offense and Sean makes fun of the hitman's predictable moveset section oh there's not a rushing light swing whoopsies awesome watches on as Brad performs a body slam on Vader we see Brad's elbow from the second rope and Brad then kneels the Pegman with a back suplex both men then tumble out of the ring and a fist fight breaks out psycho said shows up and he brings the cameraman backstage for whatever reason and Steve Austin also shows up to hit a stunner on Brad Hart the referee doesn't see it Vader throws Brad back into the ring we see the Vader bomb and Brad gets beaten in the main event of raw not a bad match at all and it's good to see Vedder pick up a big win on Monday night even if it wasn't a clean Victory Sean looks at his monitor and he sees psycho said backstage with hose B Sid says he didn't want to do this Sean tries to rush to the backstage area but there's no time Jose gets powerbombed on a table sean gets to the backstage area and it's clear Jose is supposed to be here too for this segment Sean screams where is the 60 year old man and you can see him saying where there's Jose I don't think this was out of KFAB concern for holvesby I think it's more to do with Jose legit not being ready for the cameras anyway that's Holly Monday Night Raw ended this week and I thought it was good Brad Hart comes out to commentate on the bulldog versus Miami March though it looks like he's going for a game of snooker he's also got a limp thanks to Stone Cold pulmonizing The Hitman the day before on Superstars during Rocky's entrance Brett says that my Veer shows more promise than any other Superstar he's seen come into the World Wrestling Federation Rocky Maivia is going to be phenomenal yeah right this jump is going to end up without a job very soon the everybody pushes Rocky away and he celebrates afterwards well done Davey Brad Hart talks about getting revenge on Steve Austin and the Hitman talks about how the WWF is a land without law he continues to promote the Royal Rumble March as Rocky grabs a side headlock inside the ropes Maivia then delivers a hip toss an arm drag and he applies an arm bar as Brad puts Rocky Johnson and Peter mavia over on commentary Brad tells vinster asks too hard about just how tough Peter mavia was Divi with a side headlock Rocky takes a shoulder block but he keeps up afterwards Rocky delivers another hip toss and he follows up with a drop kick honestly the Dropkick is something Rocky could have taken out of his moveset early on because his dropkicks didn't look all that great Davey then remembers that he forgot to turn off his Super Nintendo back in England so he goes to leave the March but Clarence Mason tells him it's okay he'll phone Davey's mom and she'll turn it off Rocky begins working over Davey's wrist back inside the ropes his own heart comes down the wrong side the King of Hearts puts his Slammy award on the announce table and he stands right in front of Brett blocking the hitman's view of the march of the Year Hoy Owen stood there while staring at Brad without laughing is beyond me but Owen stares pooed throughout a commercial break we come back and he hasn't moved a muscle Maivia lands a sunset flip but Devi kicks out a two Davey then lands a clothesline and [Music] thank you everybody Smith will chat log I know it's supposed to be three strikes but Devi is not the exception haven't done that in a while Owen continues to make Brad feel awkward at the announce table and the headman says he's just waiting for Owen to make a move my via fights out of the chin lock and he goes on to hit a flying crossbody it only scores him a two count Davey gets up and he replies with a vertical suplex and a leg drop Rocky gets out of two and so it's time for another voice [Music] Rocky gets up and he delivers that signature punch and can we take a moment to appreciate Rocky's sick moves afterwards we're all continues to build momentum and he hits a clothesline that sends both he and Devi over the top rope after taking care of Rocky on the outside the Bulldog ends up getting chopped on by Steve Austin and Davey also takes a stunner Brad tries to tell on what's going on and the two hearts end up chasing Austin back up the ramp but the damage has been done Rocky gets back into the ring and he he wins via count out a decent matchup here it was okay Steve Austin says he's not talking to anyone until he throws 29 pieces of trash over the top rope so the cameraman can take his camera and stick it and now it's time for the Royal Rumble March the winner is scheduled to take on the WWF Champion WrestleMania 13. and the smart money says the WWF Champion heading in the Mania will be the winner of tonight's Shawn Michaels vs psycho said March the number one entrant is crush and the number two entrant is Ahmed Johnson so the Nation versus Ahmed Feud continues in the Royal Rumble Match Crush gets the Battle of Ahmed to start off with but Johnson comes back and the two men roll around on the mat while trying to do some damage Crush then tries to eliminate Johnson but he's unsuccessful our next entrant is the fake Razor Ramon the countdown clock doesn't show up here and Vince McMahon says there's some difficulties with the timer only in the WWF during this time period could a clock somehow get screwed up Razer gets eliminated almost immediately by Ahmed Johnson and that's it guys say goodbye to the bad guy because this was Rick bogner's final TV appearance in the WWF the end of an era Ahmed pulls back to work long crutch but then Johnson decides to eliminate himself when he sees farook Ahmed jumps over the top rope and he chases furuk back up the ramp way so crush is left all alone as we wait for entrant number four why Ahmed didn't just slide under the ropes as anyone's guess but anyway Here Comes Phineas Godwin with all his hopes and dreams of man Eventing WrestleMania the lack of a countdown clock seriously hurts the viewing experience because you don't get to see and hear the crowd counting down to the next entrant it's incredible how such a small thing makes a lot of difference entrant number five is Stone Cold Steve Austin and Phineas goes straight to work on the rattlesnake Austin decides to form an alliance with Crush but that doesn't last long a field clothesline attempt leads the crush getting eliminated and immediately afterwards Phineas takes a stone cold stunner and the hog farmer gets eliminated the countdown clock appeared too during these eliminations so now it really feels like a Royal Rumble what gun is out next in Austin initially has a hard time dealing with the former Smoking Gun but it doesn't take long for BART to make a mistake gun gets sent over the top rope and noise stone cold is feeling confident Austin performs a few push-ups in the middle of the ring and he sits on the top turnbuckles waiting for the next entrant Royal Rumble veteran Jake the Snake Roberts is out next and Jake doesn't have that many dates left in the WWF either he's got one more TV appearance on shotgun Saturday night and it's a very Grim appearance and then that's it he's gone too give him credit though the fans were still chanting for the DDT as Jake went to work on Austin's wrist Jake manages to survive for 90 seconds and we see his elimination on the entrance screen as number eight makes his way down to the ring the bizarre British Bulldog does he have the balls to pull off a chin lock inside the Royal Rumble Match let's find out bulldog and Austin have had problems for a few weeks now on Raw which has sort of led to Brad hard supporting his brother-in-law Austin attacked Debbie from behind and he hit a stunner on the Bulldog on the previous episode of Raw so there's animosity here between these two men Bulldog destroys Austin Stone Cold takes a running power slam just before the next entrant hits the ring and its peer off from AAA there's a real awkward Clash of styles here with the AAA guys and the WWF guys and it's very noticeable in the sailing no alliances here everyone is an enemy bulldog and Austin briefly team up to take care of peroth and then Bulldog goes straight back to attacking Steve Austin entrant number 10 then hits the ring it's the sultan the iron Shake is here too no Bob Backlund and I kinda wish it was the iron cheek who was getting inside the ring following the sultan we have the legendary millmasteris and those who know the story here will have fun with this one that's weird until he gets eliminated mascaris gets a great reaction though the fans know who he is Hunter Hearst Helmsley comes out next and he goes to work on Davey Boy Smith the Rangers started to fill up a little noise we've got six guys inside the ropes fighting for a chance the main event WrestleMania 13. sex becomes 5 when Davey Boy Smith eliminates the sultan with a clothesline over the top rope next is the king of hearts or one heart one goes straight after Austin but it doesn't take long for stone cold to turn things around Davey Boy Smith comes to Owen's Aid and this results in Davey almost eliminating stone cold but one comes from behind and he eliminates the British Bulldog the Tag Team Champions begin arguing Owen says it was an accident but clearly it wasn't Devi gets really hot on the outside but he's forced in the locker room by officials next out we have gold dust and following Gold Dust we have AAA sabernatico sabernatico goes straight after Mill mascaris and Goldust eventually goes after Triple H so Mark marrow comes out next and see bernatigo gets eliminated by pieroth melmaskers then eliminates peroth and mascaris decides to die from the top rope down to the floor so mascaris eliminated himself what happened here was melmaskers wasn't prepared to look weak and get eliminated by anyone so the only person who could possibly eliminate the legendary millmasteris was Mill mascaris himself also muscaris technically went through the metal rope before climbing up but that's irrelevant the story here is that Masters really felt at getting thrown over the top rope by a WWF guy would make him look weak so he threw himself out fantastic Ross and McMahon say that Mill masker is made a mental error and he doesn't understand the rules so while mascaris may have saved himself from getting eliminated by an opponent he didn't save himself from looking stupid Goldust eliminates Triple H so we have four men left in the ring before entrance 17 comes down Latin lover is our final AAA wrestler to enter the Royal Rumble the first thing he does when getting into the ring he literally kicks gold dust's Ass Latin lover then hits one heart with a super kick and Goldust remains Double L where he is by punching him in the face Goldust tries to eliminate a one one survives by skinning the cat and the King of Hearts comes back into a lemonade gold dust out next is ferric the leader of the nation eliminates Latin lover before having a wild fist fight with Stone Cold Steve Austin But Here Comes Ahmed Johnson holding the largest most impractical 2x4 you've ever seen in your life Farooq jumps over the top rope to escape Ahmed and in the middle of all this commotion Steve Austin eliminated both of one heart and Mark Merrill though the cameras didn't catch the eliminations out next we have Austin's old rival Savio Vega and another fist fight breaks out in the middle of the Ring Austin uses savio's momentum against him and Savio doesn't laugh last long inside the Royal Rumble Austin is once again left all alone and he's looking really good tonight inside the Alamo Dome the real Double J Jesse James is our 20th entrant James gets in a few rides and lifts and he hits a clothesline in the corner but he has to do his little strut don't ever get Steve Austin a chance to strike because Austin will take the opportunity and it won't be pretty James gets thrown out of the ring he tries to stay in but a back elbow sends Jesse to the outside and just like that stone cold is once again left all alone waiting for the next competitor oh yes there comes Brett The Hitman heart the favorite to win the Royal Rumble March and the Hitman gets to work by making Steve Austin go through yet another fist fight the audience stands on their feet as Brett gets the upper hand Austin begs for mercy in the corner but Brad has promised to do unto others tonight heart has talked about how the WWF is now a land without law and Brad's happy to work inside this new landscape white bread applies a sharpshooter the 22nd entrant gets revealed its commentator Jerry The King Lawler King lasts all of four seconds there's a great pop When Brad uppercuts Lawler over the top rope and Jerry resumes his commentary duties immediately after getting eliminated Brett goes back to work on Austin before our next entrance comes out the fake diesel Glenn Jacobs here would set Royal Rumble records as the can character but right here and I'm just being honest he feels like a waste of a Royal Rumble spot the diesel attacks bread as soon as he gets in the ring and Steve Austin also feels the wrath of Big Daddy Cool practice like Steve Austin so much that he actually tries to help diesel eliminate the rattlesnake but that doesn't work out too well Terry Funk enters the Royal Rumble and he goes straight after Steve Austin these two mixed it up a little on shotgun Saturday night and it was great here in the Royal Rumble the two men go at it and there's very little reaction it's kind of surprising really there are a few fans from Amarillo though when they brought a big Bonner for the funker good stuff number 25 is Rocky mavier making his Royal Rumble debut and check it out the first person he attacks Stone Cold Steve Austin raw keeps the pressure on Austin while Brad tries to eliminate Harry Funk diesel just stands there mankind is our next entrance and Jim Rose points out that we're gonna have Bret Hart Steve Austin Mick Foley and Terry Funk All in the ring at the same time and Anything Could Happen mankind goes after Funk Brad and Austin Slug It Out and Diesel tries to eliminate Rocky Maivia no eliminations happen by the time our next entrant enters the March flash Funk Brad hartland's a Piledriver on Steve Austin while flash Funk takes her Terry and Diesel with a crossbody Terry also gets choked by Mankind's boat and you can feel the crowd getting on edge here as we approach the final moments of the 1997 Royal Rumble number 28 is the man they call theater Brad Hart gets annihilated by the big man and Vader also makes quick work of flash Funk and Steve Austin Stone Cold runs into a brick wall here we have it man in the March his heart tries to get a little payback on theater Henry Godwin comes out next and again we have no eliminations meaning that there's tan man in the ring after number 30 mixes entrance The Undertaker ticker goes straight after Vader picking up where we left off earlier in the show the dead man then attacks mankind before hitting choke slams on both Vader and Steve Austin the Phenom is looking really good here theater gets up and he eliminates flash Funk the replay picks the elimination of better than the live footage The Undertaker then eliminates Henry Godwin Rocky mavier finds himself in the mandible claw before mankind dumps him over the top rope mankind then eliminates Terry Funk with a suplex before Foley gets eliminated by the Undertaker and then and Mankind and Terry Funk began fighting on the outside keeping the referees busy as the rumble March continues Brad Hart eliminates Stone Cold Steve Austin the crowd pops but the referees don't see the elimination Stone Cold gets back into the ring and he eliminates Vader and The Undertaker just as Brad eliminates the fake Diesel and then Steve Austin throws Brad Hart over the top rope and Stone Cold Steve Austin has announced the winner of the 1997 Royal Rumble Brad Hart is pissed Stone Cold walks back up the entranceway leaving Bret Hart alone to complain to anyone who'll listen Brad tells the referees he eliminated Austin The Hitman goes over and he complains that Vince McMahon about the finish of the March but the referee's decision is final tonight there's no replay rule in the WWF Steve Austin goes into the history books as the winner of the 1997 Royal Rumble and as for Brett well he's gonna make a pretty big decision tomorrow night on all the ending of the match would really play in the Bratz upcoming Haley turn and then Justice was done to the Hitman once again he has every right to complain but Brett was also coming across as a crybaby I know most people don't think too highly of this Rumble match and I can definitely see why but personally I don't mind it as much as others the match really picks up towards the last 10 minutes or so and the Finish was really well done Steve Austin winning the whole thing was a great move also the rise of Stone Cold Steve Austin continues on WWF television we're starting off for all with a brad hard promo while WCW Nitro gives us a Jacques roujo versus Steve Regal TV title match Brad interrupts the commentators on Raw during the show introduction and the Hitman is still pissed off about what happened at the Royal Rumble Brad says when he agreed to come back to the World Wrestling Federation Vince McMahon promised him a WWF title shot the Hitman had to beat Steve Austin to get that opportunity and so Brad penned Austin its Survivor Series 1996. Brad then went on to fear cycle suited in your house and Brad says it was very convenient that Sean Michaels was sitting at ringside during his title march Brad blamed Sean for losing this Championship opportunity at in your house and he calls out the WWF for pretty much making him enter the Royal Rumble in order to get another shot at the Gold Brad says it's very clear to him that he won the Royal Rumble last night and bradfields he should be headlining WrestleMania Brad says he was screwed by Sean Michaels he was screwed by a stone called Steve Austin he was screwed by the word Wrestling Federation and he's been screwed by Vince McMahon hard says it looks like he won't get another title shot and the Hitman doesn't like to make idle threats and so Bret Hart announces on Raw that he's quitting the WWF before throwing his microphone down and leaving the ring Vince McMahon tries to stop red but the Hitman has left the building Steve Austin then comes out and it looks like Brad completely broke the microphone Austin has to ask for another you're gonna give me a piece of equipment that works on her I have to whip your ass Austin says ever since Brad came back to the WWF he's done nothing but cry and Austin says when the going gets tough the hearts get going back home stone cold says Brad shouldn't complain saying as Austin has been messed around in this business for seven years and tonight Austin arrived to raw and he got news from Gorilla Monsoon that his opponent psycho said is at home nursing a concussion Stone Cold says Sid has a yellow stripe running down the middle of his back and as for a Gorilla Monsoon as far as Gorilla Monsoon goes I got a big bunch of bananas and I can tell you where to stick each and every one of them Austin announces he's going to face the Undertaker tonight but Stone Cold doesn't want the weight Austin wants the Undertaker to show up right now while Vince McMahon leaves the ringside area and he goes backstage the Austin vs Undertaker Match will happen a little later on but man what a segment to open up Monday Night Raw this kind of stuff is where the WWF would shine in 1997 and the layers of Storytelling is absolutely fantastic incredible stuff here from Hart Austin and even Vince McMahon's reactions were on point thank you Gorilla Monsoon addresses the Royal Rumble situation next Wild Scott Hall battles Booker T on Nitro Vince McMahon comes down to the ring along with gorilla and gorilla says he's disappointed about Bret Hart's decision tonight but Monsoon hopes Brad can hear him right now gorilla says he has an invitation for the Hitman Monsoon can't change what happened at the Royal Rumble in the history books will state that Steve Austin was the winner however Steve Austin will not be getting a WrestleMania title shot due to his tainted Victory Monsoon has put together a four-man no disqualification match that's going to take place at in your house 13. the winner of that match will get a title opportunity at WrestleMania the participants in this match are the Undertaker Invader two men who were illegally eliminated by Steve Austin if he accepts Brad Hart will be a competitor in the in your house 13-man event and finally Stone Cold Steve Austin will also be included in this unique matchup Steve Austin comes down to the ring and Austin remains girl that there's no instant replay rule in the World Wrestling Federation there's no reason why this four-way mod should even take place and Austin also reminds Guerrilla that Bret Hart just left the company we get another great line from Steve Austin next you sit there and call yourself the gorilla get you Hee-Haw out here like a jackass Gunk holds on fire tonight Austin reiterates that he shouldn't be in this much but if he has to he'll compete at in your house stone cold then steps out of the ring to confront Monsoon and McMahon but then Bret Hart re-emerges kinda funny that Brett didn't actually leave when you think about it but anyway the Hitman accepts the March and he tells Austin they don't need to wait until in your house and they can fight right now the two men Brawl on the entranceway with Brett getting the upper hand and the segment feeds the black as raw prepares to deliver a huge main event it's time for our final segments and again one Raw March versus a Nitro March and a Nitro Promo Austin vs Undertaker on raw and we have Stevie Ray vs Lex Luger and a Hulk Hogan promo on Monday Nitro Undertaker's entrance takes place in the middle of the Brad Harden Austin fight the dead man attacks Brad on the entranceway which was quite interesting to see and Austin takes advantage of this by attacking tagger it doesn't take long for the Phenom to turn things around on the outside and Austin gets absolutely destroyed getting into the ring first helps arson to gain the upper hand a few boots keep the dead man at Bay but take her comes straight back and the crowd loves it ticker then hits old school and he brings Austin to the corner where the rattlesnake gets choked with the Dead Man's Boot and The Undertaker lays in a ton of strikes and Steve Austin looks pretty inferior in comparison to the Phenom tonight Jerry Lawler says Brad Hart is waiting by the entrance way everyone is on edge tonight and there's no telling what could happen finally Stone Cold gets a chance to show what he can do Austin lands a neck breaker and when the dead man sets up on the mod Austin keeps the pressure on with a few kicks Austin lands a back elbow but it only scores Hammer two can't The Undertaker fights his way out of a chin lock but Austin stares in control by choking the dead man on the middle ropes Austin jumps to the outside while holding taker's head over the Rope Stone Cold gets back inside the ring where he Rams The Undertaker's head into the top turnbuckle Undertaker briefly wakes up and Austin takes a few right hands but Austin comes back with a double ax handle from the middle rope Chen lock number two from Steve Austin Undertaker fights out as Jerry Lawler leaves the commentary table to Coach Stone Cold the king is telling Austin to attack The Undertaker's ribs Undertaker then hits a very uncharacteristic low blow on his opponent but the crowd pops for it Jim Ross says this is a side of the Undertaker we don't want to explore and I don't know about that ball kicking Undertaker sounds like a lot of fun Austin tries to get his little sobs in order as taker approaches the rattlesnake but then Austin has a surprise Stone Cold stunner Stone Cold's balls are completely mangled though so he can't follow up with a pen and just before we go to commercial break we see veteran Brad Hart being pulled apart backstage we come back and Stone Cold's little stunners have magically healed up and the dead man takes an elbow to the face Austin then tries to go to the top turnbuckle but the ball abuse continues when taker kicks the ropes Stone Cold fights off a super Plex attempt and he hits his second rope elbow drop ticker comes back with his signature jumping clothesline and Jim Ross is still burying the Robin Hood show on TNT we then see theater running down to the ring as the Undertaker was just about to end the March theater takes a choke slam before Brad Hart also gets in the ring and the final four have a big old brawl to end this episode of Raw Austin tries to escape but Brad gives chase the two men fight at the entranceway and around the ring as Undertaker continues to deal with theater and yeah this is how he Roy ended this episode of Monday Night Raw was fantastic and gonna be truthful I've seen this episode quite a few times and it's one of my favorites without a doubt in my opinion the best episode of Ross so far on reliving the war right then Shawn Michaels nice smile you got there pal be a shame if you lost it Vince McMahon says the boy who dreamed continued at the 1997 Royal Rumble but on February 13th on a special Thursday episode of Raw named Thursday raw Thursday HBK will have to once again face cycle Sid and the WWF title will be on the line by the way we're just going to compare Thursday raw Thursday to Monday Night Raw as usual anyway Sean thinks to himself that's where you're wrong buddy I'm not wrestling anybody as McMahon Hypes up this title march Sean says he's giving Sid this title shot because Sid gave HBK a shot at the Royal Rumble Sean then says he had to earn that title shot at the Royal Rumble and I said no you didn't John didn't wrestle on TV at all from Survivor Series right up to the Royal Rumble but here's a bit of trivia for you did you know that Shawn Michaels faced Mankind and in your house it's time it was a main event dark March the very last March of the evening anyway Vince tells Sean that if he wins he is one of the final four and McMahon throws up the symbol of Excellence while laughs in the distance Sean says it's all about the WWF Championship a title that's recently brought out the very worst in the superstars of the World Wrestling Federation Sean says if being bad is what makes him great and if being bad is what makes him Champion then that's exactly what he's going to do Brad Hart comes out first and Sean tries to shake his hand Brett refuses The Hitman must have knew something was up here because the first thing he tells Sean is to make sure he walks into WrestleMania 13 as Champion whatever Sean has to do Brad tells him to do it because Hart wants to beat Sean at WrestleMania for the WWF Championship Brett says he doesn't want Sean to injure himself he doesn't want excuses and he wants HBK at 100 it gets so bad that Vince McMahon has to cut Brad off by talking about psycho Sid Brad says he's rooting for Sean a Thursday raw Thursday and Brad even says he'll have hbk's back whatever it takes to get heart versus Michaels inside the ring at WrestleMania hell the Undertaker is out next and the dead man says he respects Brad Hart but he doesn't respect Brad Hart's complaining as of late if anyone's been screwed out of the WWF Championship it's the Undertaker the phenome reminds bread of the 1996 Royal Rumble where diesel robe taker of the championship and The Undertaker tells Sean that the WWF title is finally coming back to the dark side look at HBK his usual confidence and attitude is completely missing here Undertaker says Sean's belt and body will the ring Stone Cold says that inside the ropes are three crybabies and little boy blue great line by the way and Austin says the no disqualification rules of the final four March are right up his alley Vader has appeared at the entrance way as Austin continues on Stone Cold says he's going to win it in your house before walking off he then notices Vetter at the entranceway and he threatens to step into the ring but Stone Cold thinks twice and vitalize him to walk by I enjoyed this segment quite a bit it's the beginning of a really messy title situation that's going to last all the way up to WrestleMania let's kick things off with WWF Raw dancing as we've been checking out Nitro to begin with for the past few months Vader vs Steve Austin is our Opening match while Hulk Hogan cuts a promo on Nitro and WCW also presents a match Ray Mendoza Junior vs Ultimo Dragon Vader comes to the ring first followed by Steve Austin but just as the two men square up to each other Canada's own Brad hard hits the Ring The Hitman attacks Steve Austin before referees and officials get involved Vader also starts swinging punches and he too fights with the Hitman but eventually Brett gets forced out and the March begins Austin makes sure to get in another few shots before Brad has to go back as the March gets underway we learned that our main event tonight will feature Ahmed Johnson teaming up with the Undertaker and they'll wrestle Farooq and Mankind and we're also going to see Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs Mark marrow with Sable and Curtis Hughes barred from ringside Austin destroys Vader in the corner but Stone Cold makes the mistake of spitting on theater Vader retaliates and Stone Cold takes a betting Vader maintains control and Austin takes a ton of strikes in the corner a short arm clothesline from the big man sends Stone Cold to the mat and then the other tries to end it with a theater bomb when Vader decides to go all the way to the top for a Theater Salt the referee stops him this results in Vader pushing the referral way and stone cold getting an opportunity to head a low blow from here the rattlesnake does what he does best and it's not Vader's turn to take some punishment there's a referee bump right before the commercial break but it leads to nothing the ref is back up when we come back theater misses a sit-down Splash and this leads the stone cold Landing a second rope elbow drop Vader kicks out a two stone cold then tries to go toe-to-toe with Vader and this was another mistake Austin gets floored and it looks like he might be in trouble but another lobe locate stone cold in the March our referee is totally oblivious here Stone Cold begins choking Vader at the ropes and the referee tries to break it up the official ends up taking a stone cold stunner and this is pretty much the end of our match the two competitors fight on the outside Vader gets rammed into the ring steps and the two men continue to fight as the referee calls for the Bell not a bad opener the crowd were behind Steve Austin especially when he stunned the referee you would have liked to see a proper end of the match though still both men are kept protected heading into the final four March okay we've got some good stuff next DDP versus the Renegade and a promo featuring Brad Hart and Sean Michaels the Toronto audience booze The Heartbreak Kid as Vince McMahon Begins the interview Sean is too busy watching himself on the big screen as he answers Vince's questions Sean again talks about the WWF Championship ringing out the worst in the superstars and Michaels admits that it's brought out the worst in him also Michaels repeats last week's promo again when he says if being bad means he'll keep the WWF Championship then the HBK will be the worst guy the company has ever seen in regards to the harsh reaction hpk is getting in Canada she on says turnabout is fair play jeon got a great reaction in San Antonio and fans can cheer whoever they want if they want the cheer for bread then that's fine Sean says he's won the popularity contest enough times already and now he only worries about being number one not being the most popular Sean says people dislike people people who are honest he uses Muhammad Ali as an example Ali wasn't liked when he was knocking guys out but after retirement people called Ali the greatest of all time and as for Bret Hart the Hitman can call himself the best there is was and ever will be but right now Brad can't call himself the word Wrestling Federation Champion Brad comes down to the ring and he says Muhammad Ali I don't think so Dennis Rodman maybe the headband goes on to say that he's tried hard to like Shawn Michaels but he just can't do it Sean said it best when he called himself a degenerate and Sean laughs at Brad here while he's saying sue me Brad calls Sean a jackass and a punk he then tells hpk that he can stop him whenever he wants and I think that was a cue HBK was supposed to take the mic away from Brett but he forgot the moment Sean takes the mic Steve Austin runs down and a fist fight breaks out between Stone Cold and The Hitman Sean watches on as Brad and Austin Brawl on the outside but then psycho said shows up just before we go to commercial break when we come back Brett and Sean are once again inside the ring Steve Austin instead have been escorted to the back HBK puts the WWF championship belt on the mud and he and Brad share words when HBK tries to take the belt back Brad puts his foot down Brad takes the belt we think he's going to hand it over to Sean but no Brett drops the championship on the map he gives Sean the finger the crowd pops and that's the end of the promo you'd be absolutely buzzing to see these two go to war at WrestleMania 13 at this point the lesson could do is smile here though come on Sean turn that frown upside down where's your smile boy toy Gorilla Monsoon makes a big announcement next psycho said is still going to get his title shot and it's going to happen the night after final four so next week on reliving the war we're going to see Sid taking on the winner of the final four March and the championship is on the line our competitors make their way down to the ring and Steve Austin decides to attack Sid before the opening Bale a wild fist fight breaks out between said and Stone Cold and it looks like our match is going to end early when Sid goes for a choke slam but Austin gets out by hitting a low blow Stone Cold Mark said in the corner afterwards and The Crowd Goes insane for the rattlesnake Stone Cold's blue knee support is also kinda distracting isn't it Austin says this is for you while pointing at Vince McMahon and then he hits an elbow on the outside and then allowed Austin chant breaks out all right hand this must have felt pretty damn good for Steve said gets rhymed into the ring post and back inside the ring the big man takes a back elbow Austin then cheats while applying an abdominal stretch but Sid gets out and Stone Cold gets locked in a sleeper Austin counters with a jawbreaker after kicking out of the pen attempt Sid finds himself in a reverse headlock but when the two men get back to their feet Sid throws a few of those big clubbing blows that I absolutely love to see and Austin gets his head slammed on the mat said then misses a leg drop and this gives Austin the opportunity to try and lock in a sharpshooter but said kick Stone Cold away Austin takes two hard clothes lines followed by a big boat some good snug work in the ring right about now just then Bret Hart hits the ring and he attacks Steve Austin resulting in Austin winning the match Fair disqualification once Austin leaves the ring Brad and Sid begin fighting and Vince McMahon says this could be the March we see next week on Raw with the WWF Championship on the line this was a good match for what we got it's a shame it ended so abruptly well we have reached our final segments and I've already decided raw wins this week's reliving the war it's just been a better show and I've wanted to stick with the WWF while going back and forth here Brad Hart versus veterans Thursday roll Thursday while a Rollie Piper promo closes Monday night row so the final Raw March before the final four and the features two of the competitors The Undertaker shows up after the entrances and he says there seems to be a problem with respect recently in the word Wrestling Federation because the Phenom isn't getting any at final four later in the week hartvator and Austin will have to look into the eyes of the reaper and all three men will rest in peace Brad gets wheeled by Vader he was too distracted by the Undertaker and the Hitman gets thrown out of the ring just before we go to commercials we come back and we see footage of Steve Austin attacking Brett during the break so the Hitman is at a disadvantage here Vader maintains control inside the ropes he gets vicious in the corner and Brad takes an absolute beating as the raft tries to bring a bit of order to the matchup hard takes a hard clothesline and it looks like this one is pretty much done with but then Brad counters an aerial attack with a power slam very unusual saying Brad performed this move but it looked awesome with this move Brett is able to take control we see the side Russian leg sweep Brad shows off his strength Again by Body slamming Vader but Brad ends up getting pushed into the corner after trying to apply a sharpshooter Brad gets up and he performs a side suplex on veter he then pulls off his second rope elbow drop and to set up the Sharpshooter Brett uses Vader's own momentum against him this was pretty unique too Brad locks and his finisher but Vader makes it to the ropes Steve Austin appears in the upper level of the Lowell Memorial Auditorium and he distracts the headline leading the veter taking advantage as expected theater goes for the bitter bomb Austin challenges better to go all the way up and so Vader tries a moon salt but Brett moves out of the way the Hitman then Vader and Brad Hart wins the main event of Monday Night Raw Steve Austin threatens to go down to the ring but pop Patterson and some officials hold him back and this is how raw went off the air a good end to the show the Brad vs Vader March was a lot shorter than their previous Raw March but I thought it was better Steve Austin interrupts Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler and he says tonight's match shouldn't be happening Austin says he won the Royal Rumble fair and square and he should have been facing Sean Michaels at Wrestlemania but seeing his Gorilla Monsoon made the final four March and seeing as Shawn Michaels vacated the title things haven't exactly been going the way Stone Cold planned unfortunately the promo gets cut short and the WWF decides the air a promo video All About Stone Cold's recent rise in the company and this is a shame Austin was just ripping in the HBK for being a coward before the video began playing when we come back Austin is making fun of the fans in the tandems but he gets interrupted by the Undertaker we then get a look at the entrance way for this in your house show and it's the Superstar said that they've used here not the classic house entrance way and it does make the show feel a little cheap in terms of production ticker says Austin made a mistake agreeing to this match Austin tries to talk into his like but it's been cut off ticker says Austin's going to get his ass kicked Vader will get planted six foot deep and the dead man plans on taking care of the Hitman 2. Tigger says Austin shouldn't be in the ring running his mouth he should be in the back making his final Arrangements stone cold is gonna rest in peace tonight doc Hendricks interviews Steve Austin and doc says Austin must be concerned that he doesn't hold a clean victory over any of his opponents tonight and Austin replies by saying he threw all three over the top rope and this jackass dog Hendricks needs to understand that that counts as a clean Victory Austin says this final four March is all political it's the same thing that's kept Austin down for seven long years but tonight Austin is going to win the final four in tonight Steve Austin will become WWF Champion it's now time for the final four March the big draw of the show again this is where I would have added content from that previous video I made but hey let's do it again I love watching this much plus that previous video has some bad audio The Undertaker gets interviewed and he says he's in the middle of rediscovering his Edge and the old Undertaker is slowly coming back this spells Doom for Austin Vader and Brad Hart by hooker by crook the WWF title well belong to the Undertaker tonight and tagger's opponents can only hope that the dead man spares their lives Vader makes his entrance first followed by Steve Austin and then the Undertaker after Undertaker's entrance we get a brad Hart pretty much interview where Brad says all three of his opponents are tough and all three opponents will be a challenge tonight the headman says there's no excuses whoever wins this one deserves to be champion and Brad says the best man is gonna win this final four March and that man will be bred the head man art Brad then makes his entrance and check this out Brett looks directly at this kid as he removes his pink and black glasses the kid must have been super excited to get those sheds but then Brad totally swerves him and the kid with the glasses here gets the shields instead absolutely brutal all four men are not in the ring the bell sounds and each competitor takes the time to consider who they should attack first veteran ticker begins slugging it out as does Brad and Austin ticker hits his jumping clothesline and then he decides to attack Austin and heart the dead man hits old school on Austin but afterwards Brad punches tagger and the dead man takes a belly to belly from theater the Phenom sets up like nothing happened but veronox him out of the ring Vader then grabs a steel chair and widely successful in using the weapon not first the dead man gets a bird up and the chair gets pushed in the Veteran's face the big man bleeds while he's down he then gets thrown into the ring steps invader's face is already a Mass that's going to continue to get worse all four men are in the ring and Austin counters a brad hard sleeper with a jawbreaker Austin tries to pin Brad afterwards but Brad kicks out at two The Undertaker then performs a choke slam on Vader Austin then kneels taker with a stone cold stunner but he doesn't get all of it taker's able to kick out his Vader and Brad Hart start going to work theater has a low blow on Brad this causes heart to roll out of the ring as Taker and Austin continue fighting inside the ropes theater ends up using the chair again and Brad takes a few shots to the back afterwards Austin and Tigger decide to fight on the outside and take her counters a pie driver attempt with a back body drop Tigger then moves back to the ring where he goes after bread and this main Stone Cold Invader do a little more work on the outside theater ends up taking a beating and Stone Cold uses the ring steps on the big man but Vader turns it around with a few big right hands we then get this moment I talked about in the previous final four video where Vedder decides he doesn't want to take another bump on the ring steps so he gives it a miss and he throws himself into a member of Staff instead I like how Evita gives the steps a little pot while saying to himself nah that Peter and Austin beat the hell out of each other by the guardrails and bitter comes out on top the Hitman takes a clothesline from the dead man back inside the ring and not a person on floor level is sitting down the crowd are completely eating the Swan up theater pulls Brad out of the Ring The Undertaker allows Vader to take the Hitman up the entrance way for a beating while the Phenom takes care of Austin Brad ends up throwing Vader over the guard rail in Bretton Hills Vader with a few right hands in the audience before both men make their way back to the ring Brett gets his head smoshed into the ring steps as Steve Austin hits a flying clothesline on the Undertaker we then see psycho Sid watching the March backstage eager to see who he'll be facing tomorrow night on Raw theater then applies a sharpshooter on bread but it's broken up by Austin and Undertaker this leads the stone cold again focusing on bread while Vader and The Undertaker begin fighting once again after taking care of veter makes his way over the heart in Austin and Brad holds Stone Cold up allowing taker to get in a few rights and lifts Austin ends up in the ring where he performs a Luther's press on veter and then take her and Brad get back inside the ropes and it's just absolute Tigger gets hit with a bitter clothesline Austin gets hit with a brad hard pie driver Vader then goes all the way up for a bitter assault but the Undertaker moves out of the way Peter decides he needs a timeout afterwards but it isn't long before the Undertaker gives cheese is Brad and Stone Cold continue fighting inside the ring Undertaker and Vader choke each other with some cable on the outside and Stone Cold tries to throw Brett over the top rope but hard stands in the competitors then change it up a little and they switch opponents and Brad ends up heading bitter with a low blow as we reach the final 10 minutes of this pay-per-view Tigger gets his knee smoshed into the ring post before he and Stone Cold try to eliminate each other back in the ring but neither man goes out Austin very nearly gets sent over to the top rope but he hangs on and he keeps himself in the match for another few moments but he can't hold on When Brad dumps him over the top rope afterwards Steve Austin is the first man eliminated part veteran Undertaker take turns at beating each other up but take her hands up on the outside where Paul Bearer hits him with the urn while the Undertaker tries to recuperate it bitter climbs the turnbuckles The Hitman wakes up and Vader ends up taking a super Plex Brad then goes for the Sharpshooter but for whatever reason the Undertaker gets in the ring and he breaks the hold even JR says this is a strange thing for the Undertaker to do with Brett not on the outside Steve Austin comes back out and he attacks the Excellence of execution Brett tries to get back in the ring and the officials try to keep Austin out and while all this happens Undertaker hits theater so hard in the balls that Vader flies over the top rope Vader has been eliminated from the final four Austin is not in the ring and this is something The Undertaker won't allow Austin takes a clothesline and he rolls to the outside allowing Brad and tagger to settle this thing the headman takes a choke slam the Undertaker signals for the end and he goes for a tombstone but Austin is so obsessed with hurting Brad Hart that the rattlesnake grabs Brett's foot while Tigger was trying to perform his finishing move tagger attacks Austin giving Brad a chance to roll up the Phenom but the Undertaker keckside Brad then tries to get Austin away from The Ring apron and taker joins in the dead man takes care of stone cold but this allows Brad to eliminate the Undertaker Fred the Hitman heart wins the final four and he becomes a four-time WWF Champion in the process what a match this was and I said this previously I feel this one doesn't get enough credit The Undertaker looks pissed off at one what happened and he watches on as Brett celebrates in the ring Hart had finally won the championship after many setbacks in late 96 and early 97 but now he has to face cycle said on Monday Night Raw the Challenger comes out at the end of the show to remind Brad about what awaits him tomorrow night if you don't feel like watching this pay-per-view at least skip the rest and watch this Main Event it's such an entertaining matchup and I'm actually really glad I watched it all again for this video over on Raw cycle said and Brad Hart make their entrances as Jim Ross announces that the Undertaker will compete in the Wrestlemania men event taker's going to headline the show and the Phenom is the number one Contender for the title so it's likely that the winner of this match has a date with the dead man at the grandest stage of all we're also going to hear from Dr Andrews a little later in regards to Sean Michael's knee injury the Crowder really pumped up here Bretton said square off in the middle of the Ring Jr and King hype up the importance of this match but then Steve Austin hits the ring and he attacks Brad Hart once again Sid finds himself in the middle of other people's problems so said decides to go after Steve Austin Stone Cold fires back with a chop lock that brings the big man down and Brett then goes after stone cold again while the referees try to get some order Sid is hurt Austin gets out of the ring and when the referees try to check on Sid he says this it doesn't seem as the Challenger wants to still go but the officials are stopping Brett from attacking his opponent there's some confusion here as to whether the match is even gonna take place Brett wants to fight he smiles as the crowd Chancellor said but Jim Ross says we'll take a quick look at Thursday raw Thursday while the WWF make a decision about what to do next we see clips of Sean losing his smile again I could honestly recite this whole promo at this point and that's a shameful thing to admit and then we get a final four recap when we come back Kevin Kelly gets an interview with Sid backstage so it looks like our March has been postponed said is pissed off he ironically says not even a broken leg could stop him from reaching his Destiny and neither would rain sleet snow or Stone Cold Steve Austin Kevin Kelly says that the March has been rescheduled for later in the show it's kickerby kicking out there Sid and with that bad leg of yours I don't see Brad Hart getting kicked around too much tonight over on Raw Brad makes his way out to the arena for his title defense that was supposed to happen earlier on but then surprise Stone Cold Steve Austin attacks the head man once again Sid gets involved and Vince McMahon tries to break up the fight but it's not happening we have a brawl in the gorilla position and it looks like our March isn't going to happen once again speaking of Gorilla Monsoon gets interviewed afterwards and he promises the fans at home that hard versus said will take place tonight gorilla says this is the word Wrestling Federation not a company who makes promises to their viewers that they don't intend on keeping the fans were promised Brad vs Sid and the March will take place tonight on RAW Divi tells Clarence politely to off he just caused the one a potential victory until Clarence batter hit the bricks before he gets a chen lock Mason has disappeared when we come back from commercial break and as Davey looks out for Rowan we get another split screen interview this time it's Steve Austin Ross wants to know why Austin keeps attacking Brad Hart and it's very simple Austin is still pissed off about winning the Royal Rumble and losing his title opportunity Austin says the final four shouldn't have happened he should have been WWF Champion once HBK lost his smile but because Stone Cold isn't all Glitz and glamor and because Stone Cold isn't morganable the WWF are holding him down because of that Austin is going to tear through the WWF roster and that's the bottom line we made it bread versus Sid Third Time Lucky we have a full 15 minutes left on Raw 2 meaning we can actually sit back and watch the March without expecting a quick finish or a fast transition into something else and it makes raw's final offering of the week much more enjoyable the two men make their way down to the ring once again and here we go Brett starts off as the aggressor but it doesn't take long for Sid to turn it around and Brad takes a baiting in the corner The Hitman then gets whipped into the opposite turnbuckles and he sails the pump brilliantly Brad crumbles to the mileage Jim Ross says the Hitman has to be sore after last night's pay-per-view big Sid begins targeting the back and Brad takes more punishment but a Russian leg sweep brings bread back into the March for a moment Brad then makes the mistake of trying to go toe-to-toe with psycho said and we get to see more of those big red hands from the Challenger The Hitman takes a complete beating afterwards and Hart really needs to rethink his battle plan here said is destroying Brett when it comes to striking Brad's then able to pull off a backbreaker he then lands a headbutt to the lower abdominal area and then he drops a forearm from the metal rope The Hitman then targets the lower back just like said did earlier and what we end up getting here is both men trying to attack the same body part as the match progresses Brad then remembers that Sid's leg was hurt earlier by Austin and so Brett moves from the lower back to the left leg Brad does everything he can to weakens said here we even see the figure four Around The Ring post for the very first time and when the action gets back in the ring Brad continues to soften up Sid it's only a matter of time now said fights back and we see a clothesline and a leg drop and then Sid goes up to the top rope for a diving leg drop thankfully he lands it okay no snapped legs said ends up tied up in the ropes and Brett runs at his opponent but he completely misses hard still manages the backdrop said out of the ring afterwards though and then on the outside Steve Austin shows up said takes care of Stone Cold and then said performs a sunset flip back into the ring granted it didn't look amazing but tons of credit for the big man for doing it Brad counters with a sharpshooter but Steve Austin manages to smack Brad with a steady chair Sid then takes advantage and he hits the Power Bomb and history is made when psycho said when's the March the first time the WWF Championship changed hands on Monday Night Raw Brett only held the belt for one night he's now out of the Wrestlemania main event and raw ends with a stare down between the Undertaker and psycho Sid this is our main event for Wrestlemania 13. all right so we're going to go in depth with these next Parts on Raw on Nitro psycho said versus Mankind and the Roddy Piper segment on Nitro you're gonna love this stuff trust me let's watch the cycle said March 1st we see that footage of mankind speaking German before the entrances but those sick language skills won't get you too far inside the ring with psycho Sid the WWF Champion destroys Foley inside the ring and Mankind is forced to take a Timeout on the outside Sid follows his opponent and Mankind takes a boot to the face mankind briefly takes control as Vince McMahon says the Wrestlemania manavan could end up being the Undertaker vs mankind it fully can win this thing but it doesn't take long for Sid to turn things around again the action gets back inside the ring and that's a chin lock isn't it we've went for weeks without a single chin lock being applied in today's episode is a chin lock party we haven't even got to the Bulldogs March yet either Sid pulls off an armbar takedown that looked well it looked like like I said armbar taked on and we go to Steve Austin via split screen stone cold has a nice t-shirt on there I wonder if fans would be interested in buying that piece of merch McMahon says they tried to get Austin's thoughts earlier on but he was away from his chair remember Austin was gone taking a and stonegold says he sat in an airplane stayed right next to the restrooms he had a steel sandwich for lunch but that's not what made Stone Cold sick what made Stone Cold sick was hearing Brad hard crying and complaining on WWF television this makes Steve Austin violently ill to his stomach Stone Cold says he was indeed throwing up everywhere but it goes even beyond that so Austin was indeed having a dump earlier on and it's all thanks to Brad Hart's complaining this is absolutely brilliant we're gonna get more Steve Austin a little later on but back to the March mankind hits a neighboring leg drop on banks said he then hits it with an elbow strike on the outside and a few run running punches back inside the ring keep the WWF Champion stunned said then completely shakes off all the damage mankind caused by hitting some of those big clubbing blows the crowd has gone pretty quiet here and it's a star contrast when compared to the heart versus Helmsley opening March things heat up when we get back from commercial breaks said just completely shoves mankind out of the ring and fully falls down hard another shove on the outside sees Mech heading his back on the ring post and fully also takes a side suplex here fully replies with a neck break or over the ropes and here's something you don't see too often Mick Foley performing a second rope leg drop that's a chin lock right there from mankind folks said gets back up and Mankind ducks a clothesline leading to the mandible claw getting applied mankind manages to bring it all the way down to the mat but said Paul was he stands up and he just takes the claw out of his mouth like it's nothing at all mankind decides to try a sleeper hold and Sid breaks it by dropping all his body weird on top of Mrs Foley's baby boy eventually Paul Bearer gets on the apron and Mankind accidentally hits his manager this results in mankind taking a choke slam but fully manages the kecko to two only one thing left to do then mankind takes a Power Bomb from Sid and just look at the impact here geez Sid wins the March and they did get the crowd back into during the last few minutes of the March a slow starter for sure but it does pack up towards the end Steve Austin cuts a promo on Raw while JL takes on Rey Mysterio or Nitro thank God for Steve Austin after that Nitro stuff I was almost about to top out and cancel this series after a replay get shown of Steve Austin costing Brad the WWF title a few weeks back Steve says the only regret he has about that night is that he didn't hit Brad harder with the chair Austin says Brett still complains about being screwed but Stone Cold's been getting screwed for the last seven years Shawn Michaels gets a music video when he gets the flu and there's a big song and dance for the Heartbreak Kid but when Steve Austin went into the final four march with a blown out knee nothing was mentioned about it Steve says no one else could have worked that final format with only one leg and he also says that he isn't making fun of one-legged people he's just making a point as for the submission March at WrestleMania it's a load of Builders Steve Austin seeing as Brad supposed to be the submission expert but that's okay just Steve will still beat the hell out of Brad Hart and just like hen Shamrock said last week There's No quit in Stone Cold Austin will never say he submits and Austin will never give up Austin wraps up another excellent promo by saying this treat me like a dog and you expect me to smile you remind me of a jackass before Ken Shamrock's interview it's announced that Bret Hart will get a title shot next week against psycho said on Raw meaning the whole WrestleMania man event is once again in question the match is going to take place inside a steel cage and big Sid isn't worried at all Sid says he's dealing with two top guys tonight Vader and Mankind he'll deal with another Top Gun next week inside a cage and Sid's path will still ultimately lead to the Wrestlemania Main Event I'm looking forward to next week's role though it's one of my favorite episodes of all time Ken Shamrock is in the ring on raw and Jim Ross announces that Shamrock is going to be the special guest referee for the heart versus Austin WrestleMania submission March which could not be a WWF title march if Brad Bean said next week Shamrock says he's happy to be in the World Wrestling Federation and he's honored to be part of WrestleMania and the submission March Shamrock knows a thing or two about submissions and he looks forward to the big event in Chicago as far as being a referee for a Bret Hart versus Steve Austin Marsh Shamrock says he won't be intimidated but he will be fair Steve Austin interrupts the promo on the Titantron saying Ken should be more honored that Stone Cold doesn't walk down to the ring and stomp his God's end Austin says he doesn't know what Brad Hart is doing to get all these title shots but he does hope that Brad wins next week this would mean that Steve Austin headlines WrestleMania and he gets a shot at the belt something Austin feels he was owed since the Royal Rumble we then get a rare promo botch from Steve Austin Ken says he hasn't got his gear on tonight and Steve Austin says that doesn't matter Austin would fight in his underwear if he had to Ken then invites Stone Cold to the ring but Brad Hart comes out instead hard sarcastically says it was nice for the word Wrestling Federation to give him some mag time so he could talk about everything that happened in the last three weeks or so Brad said he was happy to win the WWF title at final four but when he unfairly lost it the next night nobody in the World Wrestling Federation did anything about it Brad says some fans have been saying that all he does is cry well Brett did indeed cry long enough to Gorilla Monsoon and that's how he got his title shot next week Hart says that Sid is simply not as good as the Hitman and next week Brad will become a five-time champion Hartfield sorry for the Undertaker though because his title shot has all but disappeared and stone cold just got himself a lucky break thanks to the Excellence of execution Brad is extremely confident that he's gonna win next week and I as for Ken Shamrock Brett says he likes Cam and cam has been nothing but nice to Brett but if Shamrock tries to screw over bread just like everyone else then there's gonna be a problem Shamrock says he isn't a marriage counselor he isn't there to listen to Brad's problems Brett got a good kick out of this line by the way and Shamrock said his job is to call the March fair and raise the Winner's hand at the end and that's exactly what he's going to do Steve Austin then shows up on the entranceway he flips off both guys and raw then moves on to its next segment this whole Austin vs Bradfield has been nothing but solid gold and it's truly been the highlight of WWF programming over these past few months great work once again by everyone involved as belly leaves Steve Austin appears on the Titan Tron and Austin says Shamrock just took advantage of gun after belly had a brutal March Stone Cold says Shamrock doesn't belong in the World Wrestling Federation all Ken's done is get in a few street fights and someone's been there to record them on video Shamrock is overrated in one day Stone Cold will bait can in the middle of the Ring tonight Austin says by hooker crook Brett will win the cage March and Austin will get a title shot at WrestleMania Stone Cold says he won the Royal Rumble he lost the final four due to injury Austin was destined the main event WrestleMania 13 and he will make sure he gets his title shot when all is said and done Aaron Ferguson's dad then begins setting up the steel cage back in the arena foreign [Music] heart versus psycho said a lot is on the line in this one and this week's WrestleMania event could look very different depending on the outcome Hart starts off Strong by bringing the fight to Sid in the corner but it's those big right hands that brings the WWF Champion back into the March Steve Austin watches on Backstage as Brad comes back with a snapmare followed by an elbow drop Brett tries to escape but he ends up getting his legs smashed into the steel Sid likes the sound of Brad's bones marching so he lifts The Hitman up and Hart gets his back round into the cage not once but twice said then decides that's enough and he goes to leave the cage but Brad quickly wakes up and he stops it from winning the March both men fight on the top rope and it ends with Sid getting the upper hand Brett is not looking good here but he creates some separation with a rake to the eyes and a jumping right hand to the forehead manages the stun cycle said briefly Brett again tries to escape but he ends up getting slammed from the top rope Sid tries to exit via the cage door but Steve Austin shows up and he closes the door shut remember Steve wants heart to win the night to get that WrestleMania title shot we come back from commercial break and Austin is still on the outside as Brad works on Sid's lower back this is a two-on-one situation here that greatly benefits the Challenger after getting whipped to the corner Sid hits Brad with a Power Bomb this should be enough to end the March the WWF Champion begins climbing out of the cage but Steve Austin climbs up and he stops Sid from Leaving Brad hard climbs up too and both hard and Austin attacks Sid at the top of the cage The Undertaker then shows up to even the odds he too has an interest in the outcome of this match so the dead man begins attacking Brad and Austin and we have a big old fight happening at the top of the cage it ends with Brett's super plexing Sid while Austin hits the Undertaker on the outside with a chair Austin kicks The Undertaker while he's down as both said and Brad wake up in the ring Sid begins climbing the cage Brad goes to leave via the cage door but the Undertaker gets back up and he slams the door in Brad's face this allows Sid to leave the cage and this means psycho said versus the Undertaker is still the main event WWF Championship March at WrestleMania 13 an insanely high amount of drama here that had fans on the edge of their seats it's not the best cage March in terms of the in-ring action but because so much was on the line it becomes very memorable and very fun to look back on Brett once again was screwed out of the WWF Championship if Taylor and Austin didn't get involved who knows what could have happened but Brad is going to let everyone know how he feels next and the promo that ends raw is nothing short of brilliant this is my favorite Brad hard promo coming up of all time and I can't wait to watch it again Vince McMahon gets in the ring to talk to Brad Hart saying that Brad must feel very frustrated about how things turned out tonight Brad pushes Vince on his ass while saying quote frustration isn't the goddamn word for it this is Vince gets himself out of the ring as it's pretty clear that Brad is absolutely fuming about what happened tonight Brad says he's been screwed again by the WWF and Vince McMahon everyone knows it there's so much Injustice going on and Brad is hard enough the WWF turned a blind eye to everything that's happening Vince McMahon turns a blind eye to it Monsoon turns a blind eye to it Brad should be the WWF Champion everyone in the locker room knows Brad's the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be and if the fans in the tandons don't like it then tough Vince doesn't know how to react to Brad's outburst and it is a big change of character but this is a key moment not just for bread but for Vince McMahon too you then said when Brad pushed him down in the ring it was kind of the Genesis of the Mr McMahon character Steve Austin appears on the Titantron and he says Brett just threw away a WrestleMania Main Event because he's a loser Austin tried to help Brad but the Hitman couldn't get the job done Hart says the reason they called Steve stone cold is because his stones are so cold that he won't step into the ring and fight Brad like a man Sid then reappears and Brad said that Sid is wearing the hitman's belt The Undertaker then makes his way down to the ring and Brett launches an attack on the Phenom stone cold then comes back out and Austin attacks Brett while taker focuses on psycho Sid and we have all four men fighting in and around the ring Brad gets held back by Pat potterson and the Hitman ends up punching the Hall of Famer before making his way back to Austin and then Shawn Michaels appears and he watches the Carnage unfold HBK grabs a chair but he doesn't do anything with it all all four men continue to fight as roa's War goes off the air ending a fantastic episode of Raw and telling a great story heading into WrestleMania ventruso had taken overhead riding duties at this point and it's easy to rip into Russell for the bad decisions he's made we also know that Russo's writing was filtered through Vince McMahon but this episode of Raw in the last half hour was brilliant Bret Hart is on the brink of completely turning his back on fans Austin's popularity is going through the roof Sean Michaels is the unpredictable wild card and we have a Clash of the Titans when the Undertaker made psycho Sid for the WWF title The World Wrestling Federation are firing on all cylinders and many wrestling fans didn't even know it the majority of fans were still choosing WCW in the NWO which by the way was also good stuff in short it was one of the very best times to be a fan of pro wrestling and because the word Wrestling Federation started fighting back the Monday Night War was now becoming way more interesting week after week the Wrestlemania free for all show featured a belly gun vs Flash Funk match Gunn won the match with a tornado DDT Steve Austin cut a promo where he said he doesn't know a whole lot of submission moves but he plans on beating up Brad Hart so bad tonight that the Hitman will have no choice but to give up stone cold also said that Brad's been complaining a lot about getting screwed and well Austin said this let me just tell you this son I I ain't bringing a condom to the ring I'm bringing a hell of a can of whoop ass this really should have made it to the Pay-Per-View Ken Shamrock looks all business as he gets ready to referee this much we see the iconic Steve Austin Glass shattering entrance as Austin makes his way to the ring and it almost feels like we have a brand new audience inside the Rosemont Horizon there's a real shift in atmosphere Vince McMahon says Brett's getting a mixed reaction on his way to the ring and I know Vince was trying to set up the story here but from what we hear on TV Brad gets a great reaction during his entrance Brett steps inside the ropes and Austin takes him down right away this won't be a wrestling match it's gonna be a fight the two men keep throwing punches as they roll out of the ring where the Fight Continues Brett eventually throws Austin under the ring post but Stone Cold replies by Smashing Brad's little sharpshooter on the guard reel stone cold then hits a clothesline while Brad's perched on the barrier and Austin slams Brad's head into the stale right in front of Captain Lou and Tony Atlas the two men then begin traveling through the audience where the Fight Continues and kenja because the task of keeping fans away from two of the wwf's most popular Superstars Austin takes a soft drink and he throws it all over the Hitman and Vince McMahon says that Brad's falling right into Austin's trap here this is the kind of fight that Austin can easily win things get frantic and it's hard to see what's going on at times Brad backdrops Austin just before security assess both men and getting back to the ringside area but what Brad and Austin successfully done here was get the whole crowd back in the Wrestlemania 13. this was the Lotus Chicago had been since the beginning of the show Heart drops of forearm on Austin and Stone Cold replies by throwing bread into the ring steps Brad takes a phenomenal bump here absolutely no fear in hitting those steps as hard as possible Austin keeps the pressure on with a diving attack from the apron and Brad has to save himself from getting destroyed even further with the ring steps back inside the ring Austin Stomps on Brad's fingers but Brett comes back with a swinging neck breaker we see the elbow drop from Brad's rope and then it was time for Brad to begin working over the left leg Brett does everything he can think of to weaken the leg from using the ropes to his Advantage the flood out punching the body part The Hitman is getting vicious and he begins screaming for Austin to stand up hard gets too confident though Austin Dodges an attack and the rattlesnake hits a stone cold stunner but penfolds don't count here Brad has to say he submits and the Hitman doesn't give up just yet Brad gets back up as Austin hobbles on one leg Brad's able to bring Stone Cold back down by going after the damaged limb The Hitman then goes to the outside and he grabs the ring bell but he ends up leaving it on the apron before grabbing a chair Brett gets back in the ring and he places the chair on Austin's ankle he wants to pulmonize Stone Cold Steve Austin there's a load gasp as Brett sets up the move the Hitman then goes to the top rope but Austin wakes up and hard takes a chair shot take a look at this next chair shot and look at Holly Brad sales are absolutely brilliant Austin keeps the pressure on with the suplex we see Stone Cold's elbow drop from Brad's rope and we get to see the heart family's reactions as Steve brings it down to the mat and Brad gets his neck and arm stretched out Austin then applies a Boston crab and Shamrock forces a break when Brett makes it to the ropes and Austin tries a sharpshooter afterwards but Fred breaks it by breaking Austin in the eyes Austin throws bread out of the ring and Stone Cold raises his arms up to the fans in the tandons there's a lot of support for stone cold tonight but you can also hear a lot of fans burning Austin Stone Cold goes to the outside and Brett manages to throw Austin into the guard rail it's at this point where Brad bleeds Austin and it's an impressive job too by the way Austin said he wasn't comfortable doing the blade job himself so Brad did it for him Vince McMahon had no idea it was going to happen hard throws Austin into the ring post and stone cold is an absolute mess the March gets back inside the ring and the fans give a round of applause for what they're witnessing Hart hits a backbreaker we see another second rope elbow drop and then Brad completely loses it and he begins destroying Steve's leg with a chair Brett again gets vicious here he wants to beat Austin into submission but Austin simply won't give up Stone Cold avoids a sharpshooter attempt and when Brad brings the fight to the Corner Stone Cold gets out of danger by hitting a low blow on the Excellence of execution Brad then takes a turnbuckle bump chest first and Steve Austin seriously fires up the crunch hears his Stone Cold destroys Brad in the corner and Stone Cold hits a superplex Austin then decides he's going to choke bread using some cable on the outside of the ring and although it initially Works Brett grabs the ring bell he left on the apron earlier and Stone Cold gets clocked this right here was the game changer Brad had done enough damage he was able to lock in the Sharpshooter and history is made when blood pours from Austin's face while locked in Brad's finishing move Stone Cold screams in agony and he almost breaks the hold but Brad locks it back in and the torture continues Steve Austin can't make it to the ropes he can't break the hole but he won't give up Brad has it locked all the way in and there's no Escape for Austin Stone Cold ends up passing out Shamrock shirts of Austin doesn't answer for him he will end the fight stone cold is now a completely unresponsive so Shamrock tells Brad to release the hold the March is over bread wins even though Stone Cold didn't submit there was nothing else that Shamrock could have done the story of the March doesn't end here though Brett celebrates and he gets a great crowd reaction too all Brad had to do now I was walk away but all those times Austin screwed him over all those times Austin took away Brad's opportunities it all comes rushing back and Brad decides to beat Austin up while stone cold is still down Shamrock has the step end to stop red applying another Sharpshooter and the crowd pops huge when Shamrock hits a belly to belly suplex Bret Hart and Ken Shamrock then Square Off Brett considers his next move and Hart decides to walk away and leave the ring the crowd then booze bread not only did Brad literally kick a man while he was down but he also backed down from a fight Brad flips off a fan as he walks back up the entranceway and Stone Cold refuses help inside the ring this right here was the icing on the cake Stone Cold hits a stunner on my kyota and Steve Austin leaves the ring all on his own he's been beaten up badly he's in a lot of pain but he didn't give up and he didn't ask for nor does he want anyone's help aloud Austin chant breaks out and Stone Cold lifts his head up to look at the audience before leaving an absolute bona fide wrestling classic the greatest double turn in the history of the business Stone Cold Steve Austin was now a made man and a main event caliber Superstar and as for Brad Hart well the head man was going to answer a lot of questions tomorrow night on Raw Brett may have won the March but he just lost a ton of fan support what a story and what a match this was brilliant Steve Austin's back and he's going to cut a promo on Raw while Chris Benoit goes to war with Hugh Morris we get another Horseman promo afterwards Steve Austin's promo is an important promo it's his first word since the submission March and Austin starts it off by saying he did not submit at WrestleMania in regards to Brad saying he paid Austin to a bloody Pope Stone Cold says he had his head on the guardrail and that's what caused the bleeding Brett didn't do a thing Stone Cold reminds bread that the Hitman couldn't get the job done he couldn't make Austin submit the March stopped because Austin was losing more blood than what his heart could give Steve then makes it crystal clear that his character isn't going to alter following WrestleMania he says you can look at Stone Cold and you can think he's a class act or a jackass but it doesn't really matter Stone Cold isn't changing for anybody when the bell rings no matter if he faces a good guy or a bad guy or whether the fans boo him or cheer him Steve will still get the job done and that's all that matters Steve reminds the fans that he's the 1996 King of the Ring before challenging Brad to come down for a fight Brad shows up on the Titantron and he says Austin knows Brad plain and simply kicked his ass at WrestleMania Austin got busted open because it was Brad who threw him into the railing if hard and Austin were going to continue to fight then Brad says he would just kick Austin's ass again and again and again but Hart announces that he's actually through with Steve Austin he's done he has nothing to prove by fighting stone cold again but Austin says this will never be over the only way for Brad to end this Feud would be to kill Stone Cold and Austin says one day Brad's gravestone will read here lies Bret Hart the biggest piece of crap who ever walked the face of the earth and the reason he's laying here is because Steve Austin whipped his pink and black ass another fantastic promo from Austin no one could deliver promos quite like stone cold in 1997. Steve Austin shows up but he's held back by officials just before he makes his way down to the ring we also briefly went to Jr and Vince McMahon at the commentary table and some Edge Lord in the audience had his shirt saying hey Elmo tickle this with an arrow pointing down to his crotch the bucket hat the cup that says fun on it the T-shirt the face big Vinny Mac should have stood up and smacked the out of this kid for just being that kid The Honky Tonk Man Who provided a commentary for the opening March comes down to the ring with Billy Gunn so it looks like Billy is the Protege months of searching leads The Honky Tonk Man to Billy Gunn I absolutely love how The Honky Tonk Man is still carrying the guitar that Jesse James wrecked last week on Raw brilliant Billy Gun makes fun of Austin by limping around in the ring and it looks like Billy is actually dancing even Honky Tonk Man says Billy has all the moves foreign has enough of Billy's and after a few punches Billy takes a back body drop check out the unusual red and black ring rope combination this week on Raw you don't usually see him with this combination of red black red bull dog and one appear once again this time via split screen and Davey says he and Owen were just trying to have a laugh at the Legion of Doom there was no need for stone cold to interrupt their promo time Owen says if Austin wants to poke his nose under their business then maybe Owen and Davey should poke their noses in Stone Cold's business that's a lot of poking and a lot of business sounds like a Friday night with Ric Flair and The Four Horsemen something interesting about this horse and March is the fact he's getting away with cheating quite a lot and the fans are totally eating up everything Austin does he's getting cheered for using underhanded tactics Stone Cold storms are mud hole in the belly gun and he flips gun off afterwards stone cold then hits a low blow and when the referee warns Austin about going low Stone Cold flips them off afterwards again this gets a huge tear from the audience Austin goes upstairs but Billy smashes Austin's little rattlesnake on the top turnbuckle and check this out Billy Gun flips Austin off in the corner and look at Austin's reaction afterwards if you look close you can see him smile and laugh a little yeah [Laughter] stone cold stunner for the victory the audience goes nuts and after Stone Cold goes back up the ramp way The Honky Tonk Man gets in the ring and he tries to secure Billy Gunn as his new Protege you'd think the deal was already done seeing as honky brought belly down to the ring but apparently not Billy hasn't agreed to anything Gunn refuses the help of The Honky Tonk Man by punching him in the face and Honky Tonk man's bump was so bad that it was good it looks like The Honky Tonk Man search is gonna continue then Billy Gunn is made of crystal clear he wants nothing to do with the greatest It champion of all time a fun TV boat here though this was Austin's first televised mod since WrestleMania 13 and there was no doubt at all that the fans were now firmly behind Stone Cold Gorilla Monsoon makes an announcement next said it has still not arrived and there's rumors flying around that he's either missed his flight or he got in a car accident that's a big jump there isn't it Monson says he needs to have a replacement lined up in case it doesn't make it to the arena within the next what 10 minutes or so and growli says the only suitable replacement he has on the roster is Stone Cold Steve Austin I thought this was a bit silly at first too but remember there's a lot of guys currently in South Africa Steve Austin shows up and he makes it clear he isn't interested in Saving Gorilla Monsoon or saving the RAW Main Event stone cold has worked his March tonight and he's due to go home when gorilla says Austin will do what he's told more or less Austin says he'll Rob his neighbors around Growers fart head you know these two were always entertaining as hell when they were given TV time together it's a shame there wasn't more of this Austin says he'll wrestleman came tonight if gorilla takes Sid out of in your house and replaces him with Stone Cold meaning we'll get another Austin versus heart march on pay-per-view gorilla says there's still a little time for Sid to show up but if he doesn't yes Austin will wrestle Brad Hart at in your house if he has to replace the big man in the raw man event Steve Austin is having his second March tonight it's confirmed that stone cold will face Brad Hart and in your house revenge of the taker Sid was out with neck issues apparently and the big man would come back in a few months time mankind takes a hard bump on the rampway when Austin pulls off a suplex Owen and Debbie show up via split screen and man these two have been all over raw this week haven't they Owen says the WWF just screwed Brett once again by booking him in a pay-per-view March while he isn't even here Brett's already beaten Austin twice third time's the charm but the conspiracy against the Hart family continues in the World Wrestling Federation mankangles to hit Steve Austin with a chair but Stone Cold blocks it with a kick mankind gets dropped over the guardrail and the two continue to fight on the outside just like their previous march on Raw though I'm pretty sure that was an opening match and not the main event when things finally get in the ring Austin Scoops up fully and he lays in a ton of right hands followed by a kick to the midsection Austin Niels are back elbow and Stone Cold saves this week's reliving the war by applying a chin lock thanks Steve Austin releases the whole new and he notices bulldog and on in the audience and when we come back from break it's Steve who finds his chin getting a good old working over by mankind Austin gets out with a jawbreaker but he misses a follow-up elbow drop mankind ends up heading awesome with a double ax handle on the outside after exposing the concrete floor mankind then performs an elbow drop from the apron to the outside and fully tries to hit Austin with a pile driver on the runway but Austin pushes him away Foley takes a really rough looking bump here when the March gets back inside the ring Owen and Debbie begin moving through the crowd the Legion of Doom show up and the two tag teams begins circling the ring but neither team gets involved in the March instead Vader hits the ring and he inadvertently hits mankind making the referee ring the bell and making Austin get out of the ring to allow holy Invader fight it out Paul Bearer ends up stopping the fight and Roy ends with bitter and Foley hugging it out in the middle of the Ring it wasn't a bad man event it was way better than what Nitro had to offer but it was also very inconclusive you can tell why Stone Cold Steve Austin got as big as he did during this era I know I sang his Praises quite a lot in this series but what a breath of fresh air Steve Austin really was his marches and promos right now feel like must-see TV unfortunately this is a short promo but it's a good one nonetheless then says Austin got what he wanted another march with Brad Hart and Austin says it's about time he got what he wanted out of the World Wrestling Federation Steve says Vince McMahon and Gorilla Monsoon can't hold him down anymore and Vince McMahon sides with Austin saying that Talent can't be held down it always Rises to the top Steve says fans can cheer him they can boo him but everyone understands that Steve Austin is the baddest asob in the ring when the bell goes off Austin used leverage to get his March against the Hitman he had Monsoon right where he wanted him and Austin says there's no gimmicks and no stipulations in the Revenge of the attacker March between he and Brad Hart Stone Cold doesn't care if he wins or loses he just wants to beat Brad up Austin says the Hitman has copied him he tries to walk like Austin he tries to talk like Austin he tried to create a new design so he could look like Austin I'm not so sure about that Stone Cold wraps It Up by saying Brett may be the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be but Brad's time is also up Austin promises the web Brad's ass at revenge of the attacker I'll be covering that whole pay-per-view later in the week Steve Austin and Kelly wants to know if stone cold is able to compete tonight Austin says he's still competing Brett would have to kill him to stop tonight's March from happening and Steve says he doesn't care about the Heart Foundation either because he can bring his whole family and his old fat father stew gorilla Monson says the Undertaker vs mankind match will take place next this will buy Steve a little more time before he takes on the head man cycle said versus Brad Hart was originally supposed to take place tonight at revenge of the Tiger but Sid had neck issues or he was playing softball it all depends who you believe when Sid didn't show up the raw Steve Austin agreed to take his spot in the main event only if Gorilla Monsoon gave him a March against Bret Hart on pay-per-view this one then differs greatly from Survivor Series in WrestleMania bread is not established as a bad guy to American fans at least and those same American fans have really taken the stone cold ever since WrestleMania he's on a roll at the moment and both he and Brad have been absolutely killing it on Raw recently this much here just like ticker vs mankind is not remembered as well as Brett and Austin's previous encounters but let's see what happens and let's see how they did Brad cuts a promo beforehand and he's got on and Davey beside him doc Hendricks wants to know why the tag Champs are here and Brad says it's none of dog's business part says if he went out and apologized for what he said recently the American fans wouldn't forgive him but at the same time if fans came out with signs saying Brett's number one he wouldn't forgive them either that man says this is a war and he's gonna take it out on stone cold tonight Brad's already defeated Steve twice but this third time Brad says he wants to end Austin's career Brad comes out with Owen and Davey but the tag Champs gets sent to the back by officials the orders came from Gorilla Monsoon to keep Owen and Bulldog away from the March Brett has to do this one alone Steve comes out and he looks healthy after getting attacked earlier on the Brad and Austin fist fight starts us off I love this spot Austin gets the batter of bread this time and after taking a few boots Brett gets floored again with a bag elbow Austin hits a suplex he kicks Brad in the gut The Hitman gets choked on the ropes and when things spill to the outside Austin lands a double ax handle from the apron Brett tries to fight back but he gets thrown into the ring steps this has been all Steve Austin so far and not a great start for the head man Stone Cold Mort spread a little before going back to the outside and Brad again takes a bump at the wrong steps the two then fight at the entranceway they fight in the audience after Stone Cold launches the head man over the guardrail and Brad shows fear when he starts backing away from Austin in the ring you guys who follow reliving the war will know that Brad is working this much totally different tonight and he's giving Austin a lot to work with Austin hits an elbow drop from his opponent's own rope but Brad rolls out after the follower pen and he tries to grab a chair both he and Austin end up tripping over a second chair in front of Gorilla Monsoon and both guys give each other time to get back up Brett brings his chair into the ring but he doesn't get a chance to use it Stone Cold takes it away but he makes the mistake of pondering to the audience Brad hits a dropkick behind Austin's back and the referee gets taken out in the process this allows Brad to take the chair and just like the submission March Brad begins going to work on Austin's injured knee Brett notices our hepner's getting back up so he gets in as many shots as he can before helping her back to his feet what a nice guy Austen's been damaged badly here as Brad continues targeting the knee a note of sheer desperation Austin begins throwing kicks with his good leg Brad puts an end of that with a rig to the eyes we then see the figure four Around The Ring post and I really like how the commentators put over how dangerous this move is Brett releases the hold but he doesn't stop the attack Austin gets destroyed with a chair and this one should be all over a sharpshooter should end the match but Austin keeps clawing himself back up only to get put back down again by the Excellence of execution it feels like Brad's enjoying this Austin gets a few short bursts of offense in but as soon as Brad goes for the injured body part Austin goes right back down the competitors bring it down to the Mard and Brett removes Austin's neighbors as we go to split screen we see Paul Bearer getting structured out of the Arena on his way to hospital with the protective knee brace now removed Brad continues his attack and everything is Amplified Steve manages to even the odds though with a low blow Stone Cold chokes Brad with his hands and then he chokes him again with wrist tip and the referee lets it all slide Stone Cold misses another elbow drop and this allows Brad to go back on offense and once again it's all directed to the knee Brad applies a figure four and Vince McMahon says Austin Won't Give Up Brett's may be trying to get Austin to pass out again the commentators also say Brad could have applied a sharpshooter here but he wants to punish Austin a little more Austin turns the figure four around and Brad breaks the hold by reaching the ropes the headman then gets in a free shot when Austin argues with Earl hebner the Hitman tries the figure for around the ring post again but Austin kicks his way out resulting in the two fighting again on the outside and in the audience and it's clear that Austin wins when it comes to brawling around the ring Stone Cold gets the batter of Brad here the two get back inside the ropes and Stone Cold keeps control until he tries a pile driver Brad's work pays off when Austin's leg gives out and he falls to the side Austin can't even stay on his fate after Brett performs an Irish whip the Hitman looks out to the crowd as if to say I told you so but he gets too confident and Austin hits a stun gun in the corner he then tries a stunner but Brad holds onto the ropes and it's bread this time he hits a low blow to even the odds we see a super Plex from The Hitman and Brett decides it's time to end it with a sharpshooter only Austin grabs his knee brace and the Hitman gets clogged When Brad tries to apply his finishing move Stone Cold puts the Sharpshooter on bread bad things happen when Brad gets locked in that hold and so Debbie Boy Smith and Owen Hart run down to the ring forcing Austin to release the hold and fight the Heart Foundation off Brad ends up getting put in the Sharpshooter again but this time Debbie Boy Smith gets in the ring and Austin takes a chair shot this is enough to make art happener call for the bell and Stone Cold Steve Austin wins via disqualification Owen and Debbie gets sent away momentarily as Brett sees red on the earth side he grabs the ring bell he goes to hit Austin but Stone Cold manages to hit Brad in the knee with a chair Austin then gives Heart A Taste of his own medicine with a chair shot we see another sharpshooter from Austin and Brad's been injured it seems Austin said he didn't care if he won or lost tonight he just wanted to hurt Brad and it looks like that mission has been accomplished Brad gets pulled out of the ring by Owen and Davey and the tag Champs have to help Brad to the back Stone Cold celebrates his victory The Crowd Goes Nuts for Austin and our show Fades the black the Stone Cold Steve Austin walks back up the entranceway WCW Nitro kicks off with a March Eugene Nagata versus Dean malenko and over on Raw we have a Stone Cold Steve Austin promo Stone Cold gets in the ring and Vince McMahon announces that Steve Austin is next in line for a WWF title shot on pay-per-view that's going to happen at the next in your house show Steve Austin tells Vince McMahon to shut up tonight Stone Cold wants to talk about Brad Hart Austin says he whipped Brad's ass last night and he done it with the Sharpshooter but because Owen and Davey interfered Austin didn't get a chance to finish the job Austin wants Brad to come down to the ring he says Brett doesn't need to put on his little pink and black tights because they look like crap anyway Austin doesn't want to wrestle Brad Austin wants a street fight Austin gives Brad 60 seconds to show up and Brad decides he isn't going to show up Austin says he's gonna go to the back and find the Hitman but then Brad appears on the Titantron and he accepts the challenge Brett rips and the American fans once again calling them a bunch of dirty hyenas who cheered for violence last night during the main event Brad wonders why Austin's getting a title match after the way he conducted himself at revenge of the Tigger but Brad says Stone Cold isn't going to make it to end your house Austin's going straight to Hell tonight after Brad gets done with him Austin says if he's gone to hell then Brad's coming with him stone cold then leaves the ring and he goes backstage to look for the Hitman Austin comes out and we take a commercial break we come back and Austin's in deep thought in the corner probably thinking about how bad he's gonna beat up the Hitman in just a few moments when Brad makes his way to the ring Austin gets seriously fired up Brett remains cool while Austin can't wear the fight this rivalry is just so good Brett wisd some time on the outside and Austin just can't wait for the head man to step into the ring but unfortunately for Steve Austin the Hart Foundation organized an ambush and Stone Cold gets taken out Sean Michael shows up from the crowd holding a chair Brad Ducks out of the way when HBK swings but Owen and Bulldog aren't so fortunate Sean ends up chasing on and Bulldog away from the ring and this leaves Brad all alone with Austin it looks like the damage has been done though as Brad takes his time destroying Stone Cold Jim Ross calls this a systematic beating from The Hitman and Vince McMahon says Austin simply can't recover after the Ambush the crowd booze as Brad makes easy work of Stone Cold The Hitman then grabs a steel chair and the Hitman SATs Austin up to get pulmonized live on Raw Brett goes to the top rope and Austin manages to dodge the bullet he moves his leg out of the way he then grabs the chair and he hits Brad with a big equalizer a chair shot to the injured knee this Shaw takes Brad completely out but Austin isn't done yet more chair shots get followed up with kicks to the fierce followed up by even more chair shots Brett drags himself to the corner and a weak attempt to escape the rattlesnake but Austin shows absolutely no mercy Brett's right knee takes more punishment and then Stone Cold decides to lock in a sharpshooter I like how Brad still flips Austin off during a potential career-threatening attack Stone Cold won't let go of the Sharpshooter he refuses to release the hold but eventually he lets Brett go when pot Patterson hits the ring we come back from a commercial break and Brett's clearly heard Bulldog shouting that the head Man's legs being broken before the headman gets brought out of the ring by medical staff and backstage we see Gorilla Monsoon and Austin having an argument Monsoon says Austin broke all sorts of Rules tonight and Austin says he doesn't care Monson sends Austin home and Stone Cold says he's doing gorilla a favor by disappearing bulldog and on take Brad off the stretcher and they carry him back up the entranceway as the segment comes to an end the reality here was that Brad needed knee surgery according to Brad's book he was scheduled to get the surgery last week in our timeline but because he said it already pulled out of in your house Vince wanted Brad to work with Steve Austin March at the pay-per-view and Brad agreed to delay surgery just a small quote here from Brad's book before continuing on Steve would and Germany putting me out of commission I'd have the surgery and do my best to get back for the King of the Ring and June as an incentive Vince promised that if I came back in time Sean would put me over at King of the Ring it was quite a thing to throw out at me considering that Sean and I hadn't sorted things out yet Vince told me he was grateful for my dedication and that he too was fed up with Sean but he was reluctant to discipline him maybe out of fear that Sean would end up in WCW and his old Pals in the click tiger Ali's saying was victorious in his Raw debut he won with a spinning wheel kick there was nothing wrong with his work but nothing stood out either during the march we saw the Hart Foundation backstage Owen was particularly pissed off with what just happened and after the bout we see Brad getting brought to the ambulance by Owen Davey officials and medical staff Brad gets looted in Owen and Debbie tell the ambulance to drive off but Steve Austin is sitting in the driver's seat Austin launches another attack on Brad and this right here was absolutely brilliant it's one of the more memorable moments of the Rivalry Owen and Davey end up pulling Steve away but Austin without a doubt had Brad's number tonight the ambulance eventually drives off Owen and Davey promise to get revenge for Brett and they promised to get revenge tonight on RAW Steve Austin comes down to the ring for an interview even though Owen and Bulldog are hunting him down then says that Steve has had a very interesting 24 hours where he beat Brad at in your house he then becomes number one Contender and he sends bread to the hospital tonight on RAW Austin says he done exactly what he said he was going to do send Brad back to Canada and Austin doesn't know why everyone's so happy because no one helped him and whipping Brad's ass last night or tonight Austin then says that Vince with his little dimple Chen has started complimenting Stone Cold up the Yang Yang the create line by the way but yeah Vince has been complimenting Austin up the Yang Yang because McMahon wants to get on the stone cold bandwagon Vince reminds Steve that he's gonna face The Undertaker and in your house and Austin says the Undertaker will have a cold day in hell at the pay-per-view Undertaker can bring his tombstones and his creatures of the night but the most important thing the taker should bring to the pay-per-view is the WWF Championship the Phenom should also shine that belt up because he'll be handing it over to Steve Austin at in your house Austin says if Vince thinks for a split second that stone cold will be a good role model when he wins the title he's got another thing coming and then Owen and Bulldog hit the ring and Austin gets destroyed by the tag Champs Vince tries to help out he doesn't do too well but HBK ends up saving Stone Cold once again and the Heart Foundation get chased out of the Arena by Sean this leaves Austin all alone to get attacked again this time it's Brian Pullman who shows up bran throws a ton of right hands and he clocks Austin with a chair he then goes to pulmonize Austin trying to get a little revenge for doing the same thing to Brian but Sean once again saves Austin this is how raw went off the air hpk Jason's Pullman out of the ring and Brian leaves through the audience it looks like Brian Pullman is ready to compete inside a WWF ring either that or he's very close to being being able to wrestle again raw kicks off with a big Steve Austin versus Brad Hart recap we get to see everything that happened last week and the WWF were absolutely right to show this all again it was a great night and the bread versus Austin rivalry it all ended with Brad Hardin hospital and Steve Austin getting attacked by Brian pillman in this week's episode of Raw kicks off with a Brian pillman promo pillman comes down to the ring and he says everyone may think he's crazy but there's actually a sensitive side to Brian pillman pillman says he's deeply religious and after what happened at the end of Raw last week the Loose Cannon says he's had a lot of sleepless nights he isn't sure if he done the right thing a glorious Awakening then overcame Brian he got overwhelmed by the spirit of Truth and he's been praying for his and others misgivings Pullman wants the fans to pray with him tonight on RAW and this gets a whole lot of booze inside the arena but Brian continues on pillman prays for Bret Hart's speedy recovery he prays for for the fans at Raw who enjoyed the brutality of last week's show and he prays for everyone Across America who gets a kick out of violence bran drops to one knee and he prays for the destruction of Stone Cold Steve Austin tonight and he asks fans to open their hearts and let the savior of the wwfn not savior being none other than Brad The Hitman heart Steve Austin interrupts Brian and Austin says bran better pray that Stone Cold doesn't come down to the ring and whip pillman's ass pillman says and the good book it's written that it's an eye for an eye and people should turn the other cheek and this leads to Brian pointing his ass in Austin's general direction good stuff by the way and then Stone Cold comes to the ring and he manages to dodge a heart foundation Ambush Austin escapes through the crowd and Pullman continues his service by asking Owen and Bulldog to join him in prayer bulldogan on pray for bread while stone cold is seen backstage grabbing a weapon Austin comes back out and he chases the Heart Foundation out of the the ring gonna be honest here I love Brian Pullman but this promo and this reintroduction to Brian didn't play up to his strong points at all the most simple thing to do here would have been the best thing to do let bran go out talk about his history with Austin talk about the ankle injury talk about Austin breaking into his home and why Brian has aligned himself with bread this would have been so much better in my opinion but the WWE have tried too hard here and I just think this could have been better we not just assumed that Bran's part of the Heart Foundation even though he wasn't formally introduced as a member Austin ends the promo by saying Pullman better give his soul to the Lord because his ass belongs to stone cold before our first Raw March we see permanent praying backstage he wants Bret Hart to arrive safely to the arena and get no further injuries tonight we come back from another commercial and Steve Austin wants to know where the first Headroom is our guy here nearly felt the Wrath of the rattlesnake bread and Bulldog sense that this one could be coming to an end they salute a one as the King of Hearts goes to the top rope but Owen gets his little rocket smashed on the top turnbuckle leading the rocky hitting a back suplex Rock then goes for a vertical suplex or encounters with a pin and one heart wins the match and the Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career I remember watching this and thinking there's no way Owen was winning this it felt like the WWF were hell-bent on pushing Rocky through the booze but I went nuts when the King of Hearts won this March Owen walks back up the runway and he presents Brett with the belt the hard Foundation now holds every belt in the World Wrestling Federation except the WWF Championship cementing their dominance over the entire company after the March we see Steve Austin Wheeling himself around in a wheelchair what over on Raw Vince McMahon leads the ring as Steve Austin sets up his wheelchair inside the ropes it looks like McMahon won't be conducting this interview Austin asks the fans at Raw if they want to see a wheelchair March if Brad Hart can bring himself down to the ring Stone Cold says he'll fight the Hitman will for will Austin then takes it back saying he's a lying sob and he'll just get up from his chair and stomp a mud hole in the Hitman Austin thinks this whole Heart Foundation thing is a conspiracy to stop Stone Cold becoming WWF Champion but on May 11th and in your house the Undertaker will see the coldest day in hell because come hell or high water 4-5 or 15 hearts Austin will be at the pay-per-view and he will become WWF Champion Brad Hart then appears on the Titantron and he sends a short message to Austin Brad says Stone Cold will leave Raw tonight in the ambulance that Brad arrived in and Brad's then go on a bus the ambulance up in paces and that's the bottom line all Austin then leaves the look for the head man [Music] alright we end this week's reliving the war with a march on Raw The Undertaker versus the British Bulldog on Nitro we're gonna see if the NW answer Piper and flares challenge bulldog has been shouting and dancing all night and I was actually looking forward to seeing Davey Boy Take on the dead man but there's interference pretty early in the match and it's hard to even call this a Mana van bite Brian Pullman prayers for a British Bulldog Victory before the March and he prays so hard that his nose starts tripping not even joking have you ever prayed so much that snot flew out of your nose Bulldog dedicates this title match the bread just like Owen did earlier and Bulldog promises to become WWF Champion if Davey can do it if our guy can do it tonight on RAW then the hearts hold all the gold Davey gets off to a bad start when taker lifts him up at the throat and Davey gets slammed at the mat we then go to commercial break and the moment we come back Bulldog hits a vertical suplex The Undertaker then hits the choke slam he signals for the Tombstone but on heart runs in and the match ends in a disqualification it doesn't even get started Steve Austin ends up showing up and he chases away the Heart Foundation but when Stone Cold celebrates with the WWF Championship The Undertaker decides to square up to the rattlesnake Austin throws the belt down and he hits the Phenom with a stone cold stunner and when Austin decides to flip the Undertaker off the WWF Champion wakes up and Austin takes a choke slam Stone Cold rolls out of the ring and he now has a choice Brad is all alone at the entrance way the Undertaker is in the ring and Stone Cold decides he's gonna tell taker he'll see him at the pay-per-view before making his way over to the Hitman Brad gets up from his wheelchair he needs to somehow defend himself here but Brad had a plan all along Jim the Anvil Neidhart returns to the WWF and he attacks Steve Austin from behind Brett then takes a shot at Austin Stone Cold gets whacked with a crutch and Austin falls off the stage resulting in stone cold getting taken away in an ambulance just as Brad Hart predicted earlier in the show Jim and Brad leave the arena and Roy ends with this really creepy image of bran Perlman smiling at the camera this always stuck out to me it's something I always remembered and I really don't know why Pullman does look freaky here though so good job Davey Boy Smith versus Stone Cold Steve Austin them the chin lock versus the stunner Davey comes out of the curtain but he says that and he goes back I'm not sure what happened here but Vince McMahon says this is the bulldog playing mind games 4D chairs from Debbie Boy Smith Steve Austin gets a great Ovation and he instantly goes on the offense Davey gets attacked on the outside and Austin puts Bulldog on the mat with a clothesline inside the ropes Austin then hits a suplex and he pulls this move off right here it's not quite a chenlock saying as Davey's channel is fully exposed but patience guys patience Austin applies a Hummer log and when the two men get back to their feet they trade wrist locks this continues until Austin pokes Davey in the eye and then we go to commercial break when we come back Davey heads a back body drop he then misses an elbow drop but he maintains control by kicking stone cold in the Cold Stones Earth hebner lets the March play out and there it is folks we're back in business Austin fights out by the need of the midsection puts Stone Cold back to the mat as Davey screams at Austin and his Stone Cold takes a vertical suplex Jim Ross says that cycle said was scheduled to face mankind this weekend in your house but Sid still hasn't reappeared in the World Wrestling Federation someone is going to step in for psycho Sid and Ross says whoever it is must be crazy during the second chenlock Debbie says this I was a teenage right lad Austin gets out and we see the Luthers press David then pushes Stone Cold away when Austin goes for a sharpshitter and give me boys that's three let's see if we can make it to four Austin gets out this time with a back suplex and we go to commercial brick we come back to see Austin counter the running power slam stone cold then eventually hits the stunner and Bulldog gets penned three gen logs in the main event of raw isn't bad at all I'll take it Owen Hardin the Anvil hit the ring and Owen Hart has the Undertaker's WWF Championship brand Pullman and Brad Hart watch from the backstage area the Legion of Doom come out to help Austin but then furnace and the Fawn come out to go after the Road Warriors strangely Owen and Phil lephone began fighting with each other and even Jerry Lawler says on commentary that this is a little odd HBK then hits the ring and he goes after the Anvil the lights go out and The Undertaker shows up the Dead Man's here to reclaim the WWF championship belt that was stolen by Owen Hart Michaels uses the belt to clear the ring a little before leaving himself the rest of the hills along with the Legion of Doom also leave the ring and Steve Austin decides to lift the WWF Championship Tigger quickly snatches the belt away before laying it down on the mat the two-man square off to each other and we have a wide brawl inside and around the ring to end this episode of Raw Austin and Undertaker beat the hell out of each other as the show feeds the black and fans would need to tune into a cold day in Hell later in the week to see if Stone Cold could win the big one a possible main event this week but nothing special stonecorn Steve Austin became number one Contender after defeating Bret Hart at revenge of the attacker via disqualification Austin has not been feuding with the Undertaker at all in the run-up to this March yes both men crossed paths briefly and they got physical twice on WWF programming but Austin's main adversaries right now are the members of the Heart Foundation neither Undertaker nor Stone Cold got the upper hand during their brief physical encounters on TV Steve Austin even opted to go after Brett Hart when he had the choice between the dead man or the Hitman so it does feel like Austin getting this title shot here was simply due to his undeniable popularity at the time this isn't a bad thing either by the way it's great to visit a time when the WWF or WWE would actually capitalize on a wrestler's popularity by putting the superstar in question straight in the main event but in terms of an Undertaker versus Steve Austin's story in 1997 it was pretty much non-existent the these two would have an excellent rivalry in 1998 but we're going to get the all that soon on reliving the war man time flies and so fast when putting these videos together before the main event Todd Pattengill asks Stone Cold what he thinks of those five empty front row seats and Austin says he doesn't care all it means is the Heart Foundation is closer to the action and when Austin gets through with the Undertaker he'll send the Heart Foundation back to Calgary and wheelchairs Austin says that hail is about to freeze over and that's the bottom line Stone Cold and The Undertaker make their entrances with both guys getting good Ovations and here we go the pay-per-view's namesake a cold day in Hell Austin and Undertaker square up to each other but here comes the Heart Foundation Brad Owen pillman Anvil and Bulldog take their seats in Austin attacks Undertaker while the dead man's back was turned the Undertaker fights back while still wearing his coat and the WWF title but Austin decides to slide out of the ring and attack Owen Hart this time it's the Undertaker who takes advantage and so clearly the hard Foundation are going to be a hindrance to both the champion and the Challenger Tigger then knocks one back over the guardrail and Davey Boy Smith gets whacked for good measure the match gets back in the ring where Austin lays in a few right hands but ticker replies with his jumping clothesline the Heart Foundation watch on his Undertaker begins softening up Austin's arm and we see old school Austin kicks out the two afterwards a poke to the eye brings Austin back into the March and we see a headlock taked on the headlock stays applied for a good amount of time but Austin and taker break up the monotony by trying to pin each other Austin goes for a sugar block but the Undertaker is completely unfairs and Austin then brings taeger Dan with another headlock takeover careful there Mr rattlesnake Brad Hart gives a shitty look to all the fans sitting close to him and the fan tries to take liberties with the foundation and those screens to kick the fan out but we don't see exactly what happened Austin tries to go up and over but he lands awkwardly still he performs a chop log and Stone Cold focuses his offense on the leg stone cold is absolutely ferocious hair the Phenom breaks out of the attack by grabbing Austin by the throat and throwing him in the corner but Steve Rogues out of the ring and take her takes some punishment at the wrong post Austin takes the time to flip off Brian pillman and Austin continues attacking the leg inside the ropes Undertaker tries a tombstone but Stone Cold counters and he applies an stf Austin attacks Undertaker while the dead man stripped over the apron but when the action gets back inside the ropes The Undertaker shoves his boat right up Austin's ass and Stone Cold falls out of the ring The Undertaker goes to the outside and Stone Cold gets thrown into the ring steps ticker then gives Austin A Taste of his own medicine by targeting the leg but Austin breaks out of a submission attempt with a series of right hands the back and forth continues with ticker kicking Austin's leg and we see a half Boston crab and Stone Cold manages to dodge a big boat and once again Austin goes for Undertaker's left wheel both guys continue to Target the CM body part both guys are pretty evenly matched and both guys are getting the CM crowd reactions Austin hits a suplex and Undertaker replies with a Booker taste style heel kick you don't see that too often from the dead man Tigger goes for old school again but Austin counters in the Dead Man's little creature of the night gets smoshed still he counters a super Plex but he misses an elbow drop taker still manages the lock and a sleeper and Austin counters with a jawbreaker we get a great little moment when Austin hits a low blow and art Hefner worn Stone Cold Austin Waits until hebner turns his back before flipping him off but stone cold feels some Instant Karma when tiger hits a low blow of his own headner then flips off Austin when Stone Cold complains this was good the March comes to an end with the Undertaker hitting the choke slam Austin manages the road of the apron and he drops the dead man's neck across the top rope we see the stone cold stunner Austin has the match one but bran Pullman begins ringing the bell and the referee stops his count look at Howard Finkel here per guy the March isn't over Austin throws right hands after the Undertaker sets up but ticker Scoops up Austin for a tombstone Austin counters it and Tigger finds himself in position to take his own finisher but another counter leads to the Undertaker Heading an insane looking tombstone pile driver and the match is over the Undertaker wins the cold Dan Hellman event the Heart Foundation hit the ring and they attacked the Undertaker Austin realizes that Bret Hart is all alone still sitting in his wheelchair and the Hitman ends up getting tipped over while this Brad Hart fan looks on as if to say I dare you attack my hero Austin takes a crutch he helps the Undertaker clear out the ring but Austin decides to hit the Undertaker with a stone cold stunner as the show comes to an end Austin follows the Heart Foundation back up the entrance way and that's the end of our show Steve Austin then came out for an interview on when Vince McMahon said the main event last night was one hell of a March Austin says the last thing he needs is McMahon kissing his ass Stone Cold says he got dumped on his head and he lost the March but he guarantees that one day he will be the World Wrestling Federation Champion Austin says he has a little souvenir tonight from Brad Hart the hitman's crutch and Austin says if Bratz got the guts he'll rule his little ass down to the ring and see what kind of luck he has it's awesome line Austin paused a little before saying guts and I really wanted him to say if Brad's got the jam I don't think he's got the jam Stone Cold says Brett tried to be a hero he tried to be what the people wanted him to be but Brad's a liar Brett is the quote Judas Priest and Bret Hart is nothing but a pace of human Crush Austin then says that Brad has his little heart foundation following him around and they're just like snakes Austin asks Vince McMahon if he's ever seen a snake in person and Vince says actually says he wants to have a little fun and take his time so instead Austin's gonna go for the snake's ass Brian Perlman Stone Cold says he carried bran Pullman in the bushlegs and he crippled him too in the World Wrestling Federation but Austin is coming after pillman once again this is good it looks like we're on the path to a possible Stone Cold Steve Austin versus bran Pullman March at the King of the Ring Pullman had just returned to the ring last week during a shotgun Saturday night dark March tipped on Raw foreign hard Sands the Heart Foundation backstage for this promo Owen shows a lot of concern while Davey Boy Smith tries to take out members of the audience with Brad sniper crutch guys we didn't know what we had with the British Bulldog Brett then calls out Sean Michaels The Hitman says he knows Sean's listening to every word he says he knows Sean can hear him and the commentators wonder what the hell Brad's thinking here seeing as the Hitman is in a wheelchair and he's all alone so is this the surprise a confrontation with Sean Michaels Brad says there was a time when he couldn't stand Sean but nowadays Brad just fluttered hits hpk's guts and Sean makes Brad sick Sean takes his jacket off and Brett says this symbolizes Sean's career he's hot and he's cold he's hot and he's cold one minute hpk is hot and the next minute he's not don't hold back there at all Hitman Brad says Sean's dancing and his cocky attitude annoys him and that too symbolizes the American fans they think they're better than everyone else and they think they can look down at the rest of the world but the truth is the American wrestling fans are rotten through and through they hear that when someone tells them the truth the Hitman says the boy toys screwed him out of the title at WrestleMania 12 and when Brad came back in late 1996 Sean didn't have the guts to face him like a man Sean just didn't have the jam guys an HBK decided to pose for girly magazines dance around get piercings and make himself look like a horse's ass Brad says Sean is a self-professed degenerate he took the belt on a reign of decadence but the biggest thing that bothers Brad is the fact that Sean didn't have the guts the fierce Brad at WrestleMania 13 and this is when things get a bit more personal and Brad brings up paychecks remember when Vince McMahon asked John last week when was he gonna make his in-ring comeback McMahon said that was the million dollar question this this week Brad sniggers a thought statement asking Sean if that's all it was a million dollars have a lesson it's hard to put in the words Holly Brad says this the million dollar question that's all it was it's a million dollars Sean had previously said that Brad was only in it for the money and he didn't have a problem spending American dollars in actuality Brad had the most lucrative contract and the Whole World Wrestling Federation at the time and right here it seems that Brad was comparing bank accounts with Sean and bringing up the fact that Brad earns more than Sean that's the way I see this anyway the Hitman then says Brad's pay shouldn't concern Sean Brad's family shouldn't concern Sean Sean should be concerned about knowing deep down in his heart if he's really a better wrestler than Brett the Hitman Hart and this ladies and gentlemen is when Raw goes off the air the show ended with Sean standing there taking nothing but abuse from Brett and Sean was absolutely livid backstage and the Brad and Sean rivalries interview hpk brings this up saying that certain boys in the back were asking Sean how could he stand for this and how could he let Brad get away with this see seemingly stirring the pot bread said it was an unintentional mistake and he didn't realize the show was about to go off the air but when raw faded the black it looked like Sean simply let Bret Hart tear him to pieces some would say it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy but well thanks to the WWE Network we see what happened when raw went off the air this was also replayed on B shows and it's replayed again next week on Raw Brad stands up and Sean delivers the super kick after the Hitman says Sean didn't have the balls to do it the Heart Foundation then hit the ring they catch Sean at the entranceway and just as Davey was about to throw Sean off the stage Steve Austin saves HBK this is all pretty important stuff Sean hitting the super kick on Brad was very noteworthy and it looked great too and Steve Austin saving Sean when HBK had done the same for Stone Cold previously players into the rough relationship the rattlesnake currently has with Michaels again this is all recap next week and on other WWF programs fans would still learn that Sean super kicked bread but after Raw on this evening it's been widely reported the tensions were pretty high backstage while the WWF Recaps last week's role in the super kick that wasn't shown on TV Vince McMahon says Brad is gonna reveal his big surprise tonight so no calling idhbk on the previous episode of Raw was not Brad's big announcement we go to the arena and Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out to cut a promo someone has a sign that says WCW stands for uh wired captive versus okay then Steve Austin says he wants to clear something up right now he doesn't give a rat's ass about Sean Michaels Stone Cold says the only reason he came out last week was because he saw a cheap shot opportunity against the heart foundation and he took it when it comes to HBK and Stone Cold the hard Foundation is the common denominator and that's it Austin says he and Michael's go their separate paths and hpk should be thankful that Stone Cold showed up last week because Sean was getting destroyed by the hearts HBK shows up and he gets a very lukewarm response this time last year Sean was the most beloved superstar in the WWF and it goes to show how much pro wrestling had evolved in such a short period of time Jon says it wasn't too long ago when HBK saved Austin and he repeats that he didn't do it for stone cold he done what he'd done so he could attack the hearts HBK has fallen off ladders in cages in the past and it would have heard if he got thrown off the stage last week but Sean says he would have got right back up so Stone Cold didn't do him any favors Austin replies by telling Sean to take his little bandana and go back to the locker room before he kicks his teeth down his throat fantastic Sean says he's the master of the Sweet Chin Music and if Austin wants to make such a threat then maybe HBK will stun Austin and stomp a mud hole in Stone Cold and that's the bottom line the two men then begin fighting and officials have to break it up on Anvil and Bulldog then appear on the Titantron and they laugh at their enemies beating each other up Owen says him Bulldog will grunch on and Steve a title match next week if they can get their together Owen clearly sees this as an easy win for the hearts and did the Anvil just call HBK in Austin a couple of chodes Sean says he'll find himself another partner Austin says the same thing the Two Men start fighting again so it's Crystal Clear these two don't get along and they don't want to get along it takes a while for officials to break Austin and HBK up before we move on to our next segment Steve Austin is dancing backstage he enters a dressing room looking for a tag team partner and he finds Sable Austin wants to know if Sable wants to team up tonight but she doesn't look ready to compete Stone Cold tells Mrs meru to forget about it and he leaves [Music] Stone Cold Steve Austin tries to talk Harvey whippleman into tagging up with him tonight but the Brooklyn Brawler interrupts brawler says he's the man Steve's been looking for and the brawler wants a chance to team up with the rattlesnake Austin throws the brawler into the interview set so we'll take that as a no from Stone Cold and Austin tells weberman that he's gonna be his partner tonight and all weapon has to do is stand in the corner and watch Stone Cold open up a can of with us whippleman agrees while under threat Roseman event features Jim neidhard versus Steve Austin while over on Nitro Eric Bischoff cuts a promo to close the show Austin makes his way down to the ring and a first fight breaks out between he and neither the Heart Foundation then show up and Pullman jumps on commentary as Stone Cold hits his Zack and rope elbow drop Austin then goes for a sharpshooter but the Anvil kicks Stone Cold away pillman Calls the Heart Foundation the greatest Dynasty in the history of pro wrestling before saying he's ready for the King of the Ring permanent plans on giving Stone Cold a little payback at the pay-per-view and I firmly believe Austin vs pelman was the original plan for the show judging by last week and this week on and Davey watch on from the entranceway as neidhardt hits a clothesline Austin's able to snap Jen's neck across the top rope and then Stone Cold decides to go after Brian pillman this gives the Anvil a free shot on the outside and when the March gets back in the ring Pullman decides to break Brad's crutch over Stone Cold's back a day you then to end Monday Night Raw the Heart Foundation minus Brad Hart attacks Stone Cold Sean Michaels runs down for the save and he throws some wake chair shots not quite Hulk Hogan levels but close and Brad Hart appears on the stage as the other members of the harp Foundation get out of Harm's Way HBK challenges Brett to walk down the ramp at the hitman's stairs put it looks like Stone Cold's gonna take a shot at Michael's but he thinks twice Jim Ross then steps in the ring and he has a big announcement Gorilla Monsoon has given the order Owen and Davey must defend their tag titles next week against Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels sorry but can I just point out Sean Michael's absolute t-shirt here I've never seen this before and it's terrible Sean says he won't tag with Austin he refuses but Jim says this came from Gorilla Monsoon and Sean hasn't caught a choice hpk and Stone Cold they end up fighting again and the Heart Foundation leave the arena raw Fades out as officials try to break up the fight Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels team up tonight to face Owen and Bulldog for the Tag Team titles and they also kickball for all with a promo Sean returns to the ring tonight he comes out all pumped up for this promo The Crowd Goes Nuts the music players Sean dances and the guys in the truck decide to show this sign right here during the entrance that's a bit harsh isn't it someone commented last week about how they couldn't believe I didn't bring up the fact that Sean was wasted on raw and how he was slurring his words on TV guys this is Sean Michaels in 1997. I don't need to bring that kind of stuff up anymore it's standard practice hpk is rocking a Homer Simpson shirt too remember HBK talked about Homer being an American hero a few weeks back don't want anyone getting pissed off that I didn't mention that either for sake but here's how the interview started [Applause] who says you're the captain shut up as far as being Austin says he'll work with Sean but he still doesn't like him Sean says he's got news for stone cold nobody likes him anyway but the HBK and Austin will join forces tonight to kick the heart foundation's ass at least HBK is honest said absolutely nobody the Road Warriors come out and they ask for a title shot of the HBK and Stone Cold win the tag titles and Sean says that's no problem it's a promise the Road Warriors are gonna stay in the ring for the next matchup we have hawk and animal versus bran Pullman and Jim Neidhart while over on Nitro we have a cruiser where Trio's March moving to the Guerrero super clue and Hector Garza versus leparaga Sikh Lupe and Damian Sean found his smile and his family pack we're back in business the Heart Foundation have a group huddle before the March begins and we start with a brawl on the outside before it settles down to own and stone cold in the ring Owen takes in need of the gut and Austin goes for a sharpshooter Davey tries to break it up but he ends up getting whacked on the head Austin hits his second rope elbow drop before tagging in the hpk Jr and McMahon are impressed these two are working together and Michael's also hits Debbie with a cheap shot before going back to what's going on we see Owen's handstand wrist law counter and Michael's gets rigged in the eyes Davey comes in on a shoulder blocks and Sean tumbling to the Mart a leapfrog sequence ends with Debbie getting punked in the eye Shawn then hits a frankensteiner and the HBK is looking good here and his TV return March HBK rocks Davey with an enzagiri Stone Cold comes back in and he laughs at a sign someone's holding up it says stone cold too old he's only around 33 years old here for sake HBK distracts the ram referee and Stone Cold make sure Davey doesn't have any Sunny Days by hitting a low blow other members of the Heart Foundation consider hitting the ring but they thank twice the Legion of Doom watched the March backstage as Davion on utilize some underhanded tactics to stay on top of Austin the ref gets distracted by Sean and Davey and this allows Owen to do some damage on the outside Brad Pullman and neither also get a little close to the ring just before we go to commercial break we come back and Austin catches flies while in a sleeper hold but he counters with a jawbreaker we see that the remaining Heart Foundation members have backed off as the HBK gets a red hot tag in Michael's floors Davey with his running forearm debut replies by not smiling Sean's little degenerate on the top rope but completely erasing it from existence Owen then takes advantage on the outside by ramming Sean's back into the ring post back in the ring Sean takes the flare Corner bump and Debbie then hits the running power slam Austin breaks the count and he flips off the ref free allowing Davy to exit the ring is the one enters without making a tag on hard chin lock guys Debbie's taking a back seat tonight and adding on to the honors hpk fights out but he runs right into an old heart belly to belly suplex Austin again has to save Sean from getting penned the chance to take advantage when hebner gets distracted by Austin they're smart enough to stop when Austin goes back to the apron hpk then manages to perform a sunset flip on Devi but Owen keeps having her from turning around and the crowd are on the edge of their seats here this has been a really fun man event Bulldog switches up his submission game by applying a front face lock hpk makes attack while in the hold but the referee doesn't see it Owen and Davey try to take advantage once again but this time they get caught out Sean counters a super Plex attempt and we see a top rope crossbody all announcers with a hail kick but Sean Dodges a corner attack and no hpk needs to make a tag they build it up perfectly here Austin gets tagged in and the crowd lose their Austin begins cleaning house all four men end up in the ring and just decided Abner was trying to get some order Sean surprises Debbie with Sweet Chin Music and Austin makes the cover one two three new tag team champions on raw and a great tag team Main Event too it makes the horsemen vs Harlem heat look awful in comparison the Heart Foundation launched an attack afterwards and Austin leaves HBK to take a beating Stone Cold notices breads all alone and the pop when Steve attacks Brad is brilliant Austin targets the injured knee the hearts have to save their leader but Brad began sailing the need big time after the attack it looks like Austin has re-injured The Hitman [Music] the Steiner's take on masahiruchono in a great murder next on Nitro over on Raw we've got a heart foundation promo Brad's own crutches again it looks like Austin's attack last week has indeed re-entered The Hitman Vince McMahon invites Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin to join in on the promo from the Titantron and Brad says this is all Steve Austin's fault he's been in a wheelchair he's been on crutches he's been kicked around he's re-injured his knee and Brad says Sean won't get his dream March at King of the Ring little jab there I'm sure HBK can thank Steve Austin for this much getting canceled it's been said too that Not only was Brett not 100 healed but Vince canceled the March due to tensions Rising between Michaels and heart backstage tensions that would boil over next week the whole thing about Brett giving himself a 10 minute time limit again Sean was in reality a safeguard to keep the proposed March as Swift as possible and to ensure Brett wouldn't get badly re-injured with the next in your house taking place in Calgary we can only assume that Brett would have lost the King of the Ring March and his next march would be in Canada seeing as Brad wouldn't have been allowed to wrestle in America as per the King of the Ring March stipulation but all that doesn't matter another Brett versus Sean March has been put on the Shelf Sean agrees with bread on one thing though this is old Steve Austin's fault hpk says he had a golden chance to stop red from wrestling in the United States ever again while Austin says he was trying to take Brad out for a good last week things get heated and Austin invites Sean over to his locker room if he wants to fight hpk marches over and the two don't fight they argue instead bread gives Brian Tillman an idea an idea that leads to another King of the Ring March getting canceled bran says he'll give up his March against Steve Austin on pay-per-view and that Sean Michaels take his place if Austin and Sean accept then the tag Champions can face each other at the King of the Ring this Sunday Austin says yes on the condition that he faces Perlman the next night on raw and as for Sean we'll have to wait until later to find out if he accepts no Jam at the King of the Ring guys and that's a damn shame Austin and Sean face each other this week at the King of the Ring but they're also expected to work together tonight to face the Legion of Doom I went in depth on last week's hpk in Austin tag March and I want to give the whole vs Flair much a detailed look this week so I'll try to keep this one brief hpk gets shoulder blocked by hawk right at the opening bell and Austin wonders what the hell's going on Sean then takes a press slam and Austin's already topping out what a useless partner Sean is HBK Dodges a top Loop Splash but he then finds himself getting punched by both World Warriors Austin tries to save hpk but hawk and animal end up throwing both guys out of the ring and the tag Champs argue on the outside the Heart Foundation then show up before commercial break although Brett is nowhere to be seen we come back an animal hits a jumping shoulder block on Austin but Stone Cold comes back with a poke to the eye and a low blue that's one way to turn things around Austin and Sean then work together after sean gets tagged in an animal takes a baiting in the corner animal manages the hag and Hawk and the HBK finds himself bumping for the Road Warriors but we see a glimmer of hope from the tag team Chumps when they once again manage to work together ERD hebner ends up getting wrecked by animal and this gives Austin a chance to attack Hawk with a tag belt Hawk kicks out of Michael's follower pin and the March just continues on until the Heart Foundation show up again hpk goes out to confront the hearts and Austin decides to grab HBK by the hair to literally throw him back into the boat Austin and HBK end up fighting again and the March ends and a disqualification the Finish ruined this one I know they had to keep their mini rivalry alive heading into King of the Ring but I don't know I'm not sure many people really wanted to see Sean and Austin fight the crowd booed the finish and they booed when Michaels and Austin continued the Brawl on the outside the tag title match last week was Superior in every way possible Brad pillman's wearing an awesome 316 shirt though the 316 has been scratched out and we have June 9th 1997 there instead pillman faces Austin tomorrow night on raw and I guess he wanted to give people a little reminder bran says he's here tonight to support the Hart family and he's here to see Sean Michaels violate Steve Austin pillman plans on finishing the job tomorrow night if there's anything left of Stone Cold Steve appears behind pillman and Brands completely unaware absolute gold here from Austin who Ducks out of camera shot only to re-emerge and begin destroying Pullman bran ends up getting wrecked here and he also gets his head flushed down the toilet I really hate the set but this has been the biggest highlight of King of the Ring so far Austin says Brian pillman sucks he always has and he always will we then had a match that wasn't advertised Goldust vs Crush those who watch reliving the war would know that Bret Hart and Sean Michaels have had a difficult relationship these past few months to say the least going over absolutely everything right now would take a good 20 or 30 minutes alone and I plan on summarizing everything in the next video that gets uploaded to the channel but all we need to know right now for this King of the Ring review is that the plan Brad Hart versus Shawn Michaels King of the Ring March was canceled and Sean will now face Steve Austin backstage issues including the sunny days comment and Brad's still not being at 100 or series quite well as we move towards Brad's final months in the wwaf bread in the Heart Foundation color promo with King of the Ring where Brad says he's almost ready to make his comeback no longer will he be an easy target a guy stuck in a winch chair or on crutches brat surrounded himself with the absolute best that the WWF has to offer and it's now time for some retribution on July 6th there's going to be a Canadian Stampede bread and the Heart Foundation issue a challenge to any five wrestlers in the World Wrestling Federation anyone who has the jam anyone who has the balls to cross the border and stab in the Calgary are welcome to do so but they'll face the Heart Foundation in the Saddle Dome at in your Haze in the Calgary Saddle Dome at the in your haste in your house pay-per-view bread then goes to the commentary table to call the HBK versus Austin March but Jerry Briscoe and officials want Brad to leave Brant Hillman fights the officials off with his deadly desk lamp while Brad says he's getting his freedom of speech taken away from him there's an argument that the commentary table before the hearts end up leaving the Hitman won't be calling the next march after all but the challenge has been LED down and we know when Brad's making his comeback Steve Austin says that being a tag team champion brings him more money and he doesn't necessarily want to his tag team partner in this next matchup but if Sean forces Austin to turn up the violence then Stone Cold says he'll do it Austin makes his way to gorilla where he bumps under the Heart Foundation Brad's Clan are still getting held back by security and stone cold then gets a great Ovation on his way down to the ring Shawn Michaels cuts a weird promo he says the Heart Foundation want himself in Austin to tear each other apart and because of this fact Sean doesn't want to hurt Austin too badly Sean says that everyone's expecting a classic tonight and he doesn't know if that will happen he's wrestling his tag team partner tonight and he says he doesn't have the answer before walking off Sean then makes his entrance and uh yeah he looks like he can't be bothered maybe he's just playing it cool but Sean seems kinda off here doesn't he God if I didn't know any better I'd say he might have had a few to be snacks before coming to the ring but Sean wouldn't do that he's a good boy now at the start of this March Sean goes from cocky deck bag who probably indulged in some Colombian bacon soda to an absolute hero a young paralympian tries to jump in the ring and attack Stone Cold the March completely stops and the wrestlers wait to see what happens but security end up grabbing the kid by the arms and legs the kids actually trying to fight security off Sean goes to the outside and he tries to calm the kid Down Stone Cold gets the order to go after Sean and continue the bout but the kid still resists against security Sean stops the March he goes out he gives the kid a hug and he brings him back up the wrong way where the kid's mum's able to join him this is probably the most wholesome thing I've ever seen during a live pay-per-view and there's a certain irony that it's hpk who does this everyone has him down as an but fair play to Sean here the crowd Lords Austin holds the ropes open for HBK to get back in the ring hpk doesn't accept and the match resumes the action was brief in the ring while all this was happening by the way Austin flipped off Sean after a shoulder block and hpk done the CM after a punch to the mouth so the two fight over risk control until Michael's brings Austin down with a headlock takeover Sean keeps it locked in after performing another headlock takeover this time from the top rope and that looked very smooth the two get to their feet Sean goes down after a back elbow and Stone Cold performs the HBK pose as the fans go nuts brilliant HBK comes back with a little Chen lock action the first of the evening he moves into a side headlock and we see a long drop down LeapFrog sequence that made me feel tired just watching it it ends with Austin hitting an inverted Atomic drop and Michael's gets clotheslined out of the ring she on then completely oversells it by by doing this Sean counters and apron suplex but Austin kicks out of the follow-up and attempt Sean performs a drop tool hold in an arm bar afterwards Austin then thinks about walking away from the March after taking a short walk up the entranceway but he comes back for a test of strength HBK agrees and DTA you silly bastard the crowd pops when Austin lays in the kicks Stone Cold gets a taste of his own medicine when sean gets to his fate and Stone Cold ends up taking a back body drop Jon misses an elbow drop and Austin knocks down a cameraman when he hits the ropes Stone Cold hits the Luther's press and there's a ton of impact here the two then go through a few pen attempts giving us a great example of just how versatile Steve Austin was back then and Sean ends up getting thrown to the outside and he has real problems trying to get back in the ring Stone Cold does everything to keep HBK away including launching Sean into the guard rail Steve poses to the audience while Sean's out cold Steve then decides to expose the floor around the ring Sean tries to fight Austin off but hpk gets thrown into the ring steps and he takes a bump on the floor that's looked pretty good Sean misses his flying forearm back inside the ring and he takes another tumble to the outside he tries to steal a victory with a small package but Austin makes him pay with a clothesline afterwards a second rope elbow drop from Steve Austin gets followed up with a chen lock the overall Pierce of this March has been excellent they're gone the rest holds only when necessary it seems and it works within the context of the boat Tim White gets paired up with Austin using the bottom rope during the hold and the HBK takes advantage Austin gets launched out of the ring and Jim Ross brings up the fact that there's high-pitched cheering for Sean Michaels mixed with low base booze for Sean Michaels it's a very mixed crowd and a very mixed reaction Sean builds momentum and we see the flying forearm we see a back body drop and then Austin Dodges a corner attack and Sean smacks the ring post Stone Cold decides to expose Sean's backside and Sean continues to wrestle with his tights pull down he heads across body and he tries the pen stone cold but Austin kicks out and he hits another clothesline Tim White gets taken out in the corner we have no referee Austin blocks a super kick and we see the stone cold stunner there's no one that kind of the penfold so Austin grabs Tim White and our referee takes a stunner too Sean Hits Austin with Sweet Chin Music but it's the same problem no one there to count the pen fall my kyoda runs down but he checks on Tim white instead of counting the cover so Sean decides to hit Kyoto with a super kick he then covers Austin white makes the count but Austin kicks out at two Earth hadner then runs down and he disqualifies both guys for attacking referees it's a double DQ and it's a real bad way to end what was a very hard-fought match it looked like these two were trying to see who could outpace the other and who would get blown up quicker and while Sean might be considered more athletic Austin done more than hanging there with the Heartbreak Kid a good underrated March in my opinion that maybe deservedly gets a bad rep thanks to the finish in many ways though this one could be considered better than their WrestleMania March next year the tag Champs try to take cheap shots at each other but they decide to leave the ring together they remain on high alert of each other but they walk back up the ramp as we get ready for our main event over on Raw Stone Cold says he's proud of what he done last night the Brian Tomlin and King of the Ring Vince McMahon says Austin's attack was a dastardly act but Stone Cold says he wishes the toilet had a few logs in it Austin faces Brian pillman tonight and Steve says he's got through with Sean Michaels and he's gonna focus on Pullman later on Stone Cold says he's gonna kick perlman's ass up and down the ring and hit his old tag partner with a stone cold stunner he'll then drag Pullman backstage to finish the job once the March is over McMahon says Brad Hart later at a challenge at the King of the Ring the Canadian Stampede 10-man tag Stone Cold says he'll be the first guy volunteering to fight the hards in Calgary he's sure Gorilla Monsoon is going to make him tag up with four other guys but Stone Cold would be happy enough to fight the whole heart foundation on his own Austin even says he'll beat up Stu in hell and hard if he has to that says Salvage blows Hogan for Life he's not loyal to the cause our show ends with The Outsiders versus flare and Piper on Nitro while Brian Pullman scheduled to take on Steve Austin on Raw I've been wanting to see Austin vs permanent for a long time in the WWF and I'd forgotten this match was ever booked and after watching Raw again for this week's reliving the War I not understand why I'd forgotten about this boat it's because it actually doesn't happen Stone Cold reportedly suffered a knee injury at the King of the Ring and so he's attacked during his entrance on Raw by the heart foundation and he needs to get a replacement it was reported that John Michaels was supposed to be that replacement but because he isn't here tonight we instead get a Mankind versus Brian pillman match no official announcements made mankind just runs down he fights the hearts and Earl hebner begins officiating the Foley versus Parliament Modge this is still a very interesting Clash here on Ross who take nothing away from Mick Foley we come back from a commercial and the March is truly underway make no sails a boot from pillman and bran gets slaughtered in the corner a back elbow sends Brian to the outside and Mankind grinds Pullman's face on the runway but Pullman comes back with a back suplex she had camera work means we don't see Perlman attack fully at the guardrail but he tries to stay on top of Mech inside the ring both guys choke and Claw each other's faces before bran begins slopping Mick the mankind mask begins falling apart as mcleods and a few mounted punches and one of the best spots of the March comes when Brian rips Foley's hair out and he shoves it in Max mouth that's the kind of stuff you expect to see from these two Pullman lays in some big knife edge chops but the crowds absolutely silent they aren't really cheering for either man and that's because Steve Austin was removed from the March even Jr McMahon talk about the fans disappointment and yeah it's a tough break for pillman and Foley eventually fully hits the double arm DDT and he goes for the mandible claw the hard Foundation run down again the cause of the EQ finish but Steve Austin tries to get some revenge on the hearts and so does Ken Shamrock old County boys been saving people's asses all night it seems the baby faces cleared the ring Austin clearly didn't want Shamrock nor Foley's help so Shamrock takes a stunner while mankind gets flipped off in the corner this this was a disappointing main event and again it was because of March cancellations and rebooking the show thanks to Sean Michaels and Brad Hart these two were causing problems for everyone it seems and their real Feud was in a roundabout way having a negative effect on the Whole World Wrestling Federation raw opens up with Vince McMahon and Jim Ross talking about the Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels backstage fight they came here been up big time here saying Sean and Brett both suffered injuries with Sean's being worse than breads not only his HBK re-injured his knee but he also injured his neck it's announced that Sean's going to be out for four to six weeks while Brett will return in a modder of days and because Sean can't defend his tag team championship belt Austin needs to find himself a new tag team partner a tag team tournament gets announced and Stone Cold needs someone to help him defend the Championships against the tournament winners and this announcement leads to Stone Cold hitting the ring to cut a promo on Raw Steve Austin basically says he does not want a tag team partner Stone Cold says he was forced into a partnership with John Michaels by Vince McMahon and he doesn't want to team up with anybody ever again Stone Cold says he'll defend the belts all on his own mankind appears on the Titantron and he says last week when Stone Cold flipped him off mankind felt an undeniable connection to the rattlesnake mankind wants to team up with Austin and Austin says he doesn't need a freak looking out for him he already had HBK dancing around with his long hair and Mankind says he too has long hair he can wear one earring and he can also shake his ass mankind says he has a nice ass and Austin says he has a fat ass mankind tells Austin to think about it McMahon then announces a Steve Austin vs Brian pillman March 4 tonight and then Ken Shamrock comes down to the ring remember Austin attacked Shamrock last week Shamrock says he won't forget what Austin did and he challenges Stone called her fight Austin says once he gets done with pillman he's coming after Shamrock and Ken says it's time to knuckle up the world's most dangerous man will be waiting for Stone Cold during this permanent March later on Davy Owen and neither will be handcuffed to the ring posts and Brad pillman says Vince McMahon made a mistake the handcuffs aren't getting put on the convicted felon the one with the rap shade Brian pillman pillman says Shamrock has nothing to worry about Stone Cold will get taken care of tonight on RAW we have got the brand Pullman versus Steve Austin March next on Raw while sex takes on Rey Mysterio once again on Monday night row before the Raw March Steve Austin says he's got Brian permanent right where he wants him and with the hearts getting handcuffed around the ring Stone Cold's fixing the run through each and every one of them the Hart Foundation get handcuffed and Devi still threatens to apply deadly chin locks to fans at ringside if they don't shut their stupid mags Stone Cold likes what he sees as he makes his way down to the ring he flips off to every boy Smith and now I'm seriously hoping come and breaks Stone Cold's fingers and here we go finally Steve Austin versus Brian Pullman big right hands from Austin get followed up with an inverted Atomic drop Pullman tries to take a break on the outside even though the March has just begun and Austin can't help himself he gives Davey a cheap shot before getting back in the ring a few hard knife edge chops from Pullman stunned the rattlesnake but not for long Austin drops Perlman over the top rope and he lays in a few months and punches is Owen tries to break out of the handcuffs at ringside while Pullman gets up and he offers Stone Cold a handshake Austin of course grabs pillman's hand and then proceeds to beat him up Brian rakes stone cold in the eyes he goes upstairs but he gets his little Loose Cannon smashed on the top rope that damn bully Steve Austin then goes out and he attacks Davey again and getting a little angry here and pillman tries to hit Austin with a chair but Stone Cold pushes it right in Brian's fears the Anvil and no one get attacked by Stone Cold necks but Perlman manages to choke Austin with a core just before raw takes a commercial break we come back and Brian's still in control but he's not got a busted nose from the chair getting pushed in his face a low blow brings Austin back into the March but bran eventually comes back with a chin lock Pullman then takes a jawbreaker when Austin breaks a sleeper hold but Stone Cold misses an elbow and Brands right back in the March for a moment Austin takes permanent down and again he lives in the right hands Brian then takes a model hold stomping in the corner and when the referee tries to calm Austin down he ends up taking a stone cold stunner pillman then hits a low blow he uses those brass knocks that look like white plastic knocks to knock Austin down but Stone Cold kicks out of the follow-up cover when another referee enters the March Owen Hart was able to grab the key from my key order's pocket the King of Hearts freeze himself before passing the key to the Anvil and the Anvil passes it to the Bulldog puff puff give the referee calls for the bail as the hearts launch an attack on Stone Cold Gold Gold Dust Mankind and Ken Shamrock run down for the save and after clearing the ring Austin decides he's gonna attack Kenny boy can ends up hitting a belly to belly suplex on Stone Cold and then a big old fight breaks out between the world's most dangerous man and the Texas rattlesnake the Legion of Doom end up breaking things up eventually and Goldust then grabs a microphone he says this is what the Heart Foundation wants and Stone Cold's falling for it Golda says the heart wants to take on the five very best wrestlers the WWF has to offer and he then says that this slot right here himself the Legion of Doom Shamrock and Austin these are the five best in the company Stone Cold looks like he doesn't agree with Dustin's self-assessment but anyway Goldust wants these five to form a team and take on the hearts Austin makes it clear he wants to face the Hearts by himself but Gorilla Monsoon won't allow him to he agrees to team up with these four losers but he also says after the match they aren't gonna be friends after the March Vince McMahon shoes fans a clip from Steve Austin's VHS tip it includes Austin and ECW imitating Hulk Hogan and McMahon and Ross have a good laugh about this Ross says Austin talks about more superstars in the tip who should remain nameless we then learned that the great Suzuki will take on takamichinoku and a light heavyweight March at Canadian Stampede that sounds interesting and then we go to the ring for the brand Pullman vs mankind rematch mankind once again wears the pikmi Steve San around his neck and he has a gift for Jim Ross fully wants to apologize for attacking Ross during his sit-down interview and inside the gift box is a mankind hand complete with a mandible claw Brant Hillman takes it away and he shoves a finger in Mankind's eye nice back in the ring Pullman's top rope move gets stopped with a back elbow Steve Austin then cuts a split screen promo where he says mankind sucks you don't know if you're getting mankind Cactus Jack or dude love with this guy so Austin doesn't want him as a partner Stone Cold says no matter what happens the tag titles are staying with stone cold before we go to commercial break we see Triple H in China standing at the entranceway we come back and Mankind hits a baseball slide but Perlman evens the odds with a rank Bell shot Foley gets his head rammed in the ring post Pullman then targets Foley's ear or his Javier and bran even tries to use a pencil here Jesus Christ Tillman manages to stay in control at the other side of the ring when Foley runs into the steps Brian then bites at Mankind's ear in the ring and he spits on fully the Loose Cannon is getting seriously vicious here but mankind turns it around with a ring post nutshot Brian sells this wonderfully fully then signals for the mandible claw this should be all over but Triple H runs down the entrance way to break things up fully takes care of Hunter with a right hand followed by a mandible Claw on the outside but a China distraction allows Pullman to hit mankind with his boot on the outside we see a pathetic accidental chair shot from Triple H made it even worse because the chair was padded and Mankind chases Hunter back up the entranceway mankind screams helmsley's name into the microphone before raw moves on and this wasn't a bad match at all we arrive at our main events we've got that NW versus giant package and DDP module Nitro on Raw we've got Jim the Anvil neither versus Steve Austin the real Main Event doesn't sound like a barn burner at all but let's check it out anyway the Heart Foundation watch this one in the back probably still laughing about Davey body slamming that Headhunter guy the Anvil attacks right at the opening bell and we cut away again the Candy Boy Shamrock watching the March 2. the crowd pops when Austin begins unloading on the Anvil with rights and left and Stone Cold follows this up with two hard closed lines Austin then applies a side headlock Anvil with a top wrist lock into a side head lock of his own Stone Cold goes down after a shoulder block Jim applies another side headlock and we see another shoulder block Suite Stone Cold's Luffy's press doesn't look too hot afterwards stone cold then goes for a sharpshooter but he gets kicked away we get a good long abdominal stretch with a little rope leverage everyone loves saying that one don't they eventually the two end up on the outside and Stone Cold hits a slam on the ramp way we go to commercial break and during the commercial Brad Hart showed up and he attacked Ken Shamrock can doesn't have the jam and speaking of jam remember I asked you guys last week to send me your sick photos with reliving the war March well check this out this is Chief Big Canoe and they don't call him Chief Big Canoe for an orphan a majestic photo in the snow the Glorious winged Eagle belt the Bratz Jam shirt the glasses a consummate professional ladies and gentlemen a jam up guy so well done man back to raw and Brad had a soul food he wasn't in Calgary at all and Ken gets his ass kicked courtesy of his Excellency in the ring Jim neidhart's looking tired as he chokes Austin on the mat he gets launched off the ropes and he kicks Stone Cold as if to say nah I'm not doing anything else and then he performs a chen lock fortunately Davey went to the toilet and he didn't have to see this no relapsing this week on reliving the war Austin fights out Anvil applies a sleeper Stone Cold catches flies and we see the jawbreaker handle then stops the action again with another rest hold a front face lock Jim uses his last bit of energy to hit a body slam he dives from the middle rope but he misses his Target Stone Cold begins firing up but before he can put the match away Bret Hart interferes the ref calls for a DQ as the original Heart Foundation teach Stone Cold a lesson bread applies to figure four Around The Ring post and this prompts mankind to hit the ringside area to see if Austin Brett gets put in the mandible claw and raw ends with the heart foundation smacking Foley with steel chairs to break the hold these hard boys are becoming a little like the NWO with all these DQ finishes not a great main event on Raw sadly foreign event and it's probably the reason why you clicked on this video there's still around one hour of time remaining on the pay-per-view so you know you're in for a real treat here from the entrances all the way to the final Bell at the King of the Ring Brad hard challenged any five American Superstars to step into the ring with the heart foundation at Canadian Stampede Ken Shamrock Gold Dust the Legion of Doom and Stone Cold Steve Austin would end up coming together to face the hearts and without disrespecting the five-man and Team America here this really wasn't the absolute best Babyface team the WWE have had to offer at the time you have to remember though that these guys were getting booked to lose and the WWF still had to protect their biggest baby faces when the company returned to the United States so it makes sense to sacrifice a few lesser Superstars for the greater good perhaps of note here is that Sean Michaels was absent from Canadian Stampede he and Brad Hart had that well-documented backstage fight and Vince told Sean to take her few weeks off to cool down so who knows how sean would have fit into this pay-per-view had he been around at the time I know I've harped on about this already in this video but the really appreciate Canadian Stampede you need to appreciate how Brad Hart and the Heart Foundation would rip apart American wrestling fans on weekly WWF television Brad felt the fans of America turned their back on the Hitman but Brad would also say that the fans across the border still valued him and the rest of the hearts Canadian Stampede was designed to show the world that Canada still loved the Hitman and boy I'm not sure anyone could have predicted the reaction the Heart Foundation got during the stanman tag man event there hasn't been an atmosphere like this at a wrestling show since the closest thing I could compare it to in the WWF at least would be the CM Punk versus John Cena's Chicago March at Money in the Bank 2011. Team USA have an interview before the March they all seem United as one with the exception of Stone Cold Steve Austin Austin walks away from the team before doc Hendricks gets a chance to ask a few questions the Canadian national anthem has sang in the ring by Farmer's Daughter a Canadian country music group who I've personally never heard of before but still the message is sent loud and clear this is hard family territory and this one is all about Canada being better than America Howard fenkel acknowledges Stu and Helen Hart sitting at ringside before the Hart foundation's opponents make their way to the ring no it isn't an absolute hostile reaction here the fans aren't completely burning the hell out of Team USA but they aren't overly welcoming either I love Steve Austin's entrance here by the way he's just talking smack while laughing all the way to the ring and he's playing the role to Perfection the first heart foundation member to get introduced is Brian pillman and I can talk about the insane actions each member of the Heart Foundation gets here but I won't do that instead I'll just say that each and every member gets treated like a main event Mega Star as the hearts line up the entrance way one by one when the Hitman comes out the crowd response is simply insane you'll never see a homecoming like this in wrestling the Heart Foundation got the biggest Babyface pop of the Year even though they were haters truly outstanding stuff here the two teams confused to fierce but When the Smoke Clears we are left with Bret Hart and Steve Austin the two trade punches and Brad gets the upper hand when Austin finds himself in the corner getting a beating from The Hitman the hard camera again begins to shake due to the crowd once again going totally nuts Jerry Lawler screams that the building is shaking as Austin gets a little payback Stone Cold flips off the fans before Brett comes back with a clothesline Brad gets cheered for everything he does here it doesn't matter if Brad fights fair or fights dirty everything gets a pulp Stone Cold hits a low blow and he gives a cheeky little smile to the Calgary audience after doing so Austin locks in the Million Dollar Dream and the two men reenact the finish of their Survivor Series 96 March but this time Austin kicks out Brad tags and Jim The Anvil nadhart and Austin tags and Ken Shamrock we get a little spot here where the Anvil tries to go toe-to-toe with the world's most dangerous man but it's no use Brad pillman gets cheered when he breaks up an ankle attempt and the Loose Cannon also laughs and can charm Rock's fears the Anvil is simply outclassed by Shamrock so pillman gets tagged in and again it's another great Ovation the Heart Foundation can do no wrong here Pullman bites his opponent he spits on Shamrock Shamrock gets mocked when pelman pretends the mid can top out Pullman is completely working Halo and the fans love it a belly to belly suplex forces Pellman to tag in Owen Hart as Shamrock tags and gold dust and the commentary team don't even bother to try and talk as the Saddle Dome breaks out and allowed Owen chant Owen hits an inseague but it only scores him at two kind Steve Austin begins taunting the other hard family members at ringside as Road Warrior Hawk begins working over on the King of Hearts applies the Sharpshooter but animal breaks it up this leads to the European Champion Davey Boy Smith getting tagged in the Bulldog hits the running power slam but Goldust breaks it up animal comes into the March along with Brad hard so now all everyone stepped into the ring and everyone has experienced this unique crowd inside the subtle Dome eventually the March breaks down and Steve Austin brings Owen Hart to the ring post while the referee was distracted Bruce Hart who is sitting at ringside tries to stop Austin from destroying Owen's leg but it's no use Stone Cold does a number on own and Brad tells the Heart Foundation that Owen is hurt Owen gets removed from the March so it's normally five on four Austin hits the stone cold stunner on bran Pullman but Brad drags Austin to the ring post for some payback it's not a Stone Cold's turn to take punishment as the Hitman hits Austin's leg with a fire extinguisher before locking in the figure four Around The Ring post as the match continues Steve Austin is forced to go backstage it looks like we now have a four on four match as both own heart and Steve Austin have received injuries we get a little fan service when the Hitman and the Anvil display some double team offense and I like this spot here where Brian Pullman completely stops Ken Shamrock from going after the hitman's ankle pillman also threw Shamrock end of the announce table and this looked pretty good too Steve Austin hobbles back down to the ring and he once tagged in and we once again get to see Brad and Stone Cold face to face Steve gets the upper hand this time but eventually Brad turns it around Brad applies his sleeper but Stone Cold gets out with a jawbreaker Road Warrior animal breaks up a sharpshooter attempt and when Stone Cold applies a sharpshooter of his own its own heart who comes back down the ramp to break up the hold Owen gets tagged in and Austin sends the King of Hearts over the top rope Orson then begins beating Owen up in front of the hearts Bruce hard throws a drank over Austin but Stone Cold goes after stew this results in the Hart Brothers beating up Austin at ringside Stone Cold gets thrown back into the ring and Owen rolls him up for the victory the Heart Foundation win via penfall heart family members get into the ring to fight Team USA But officials break it up Steve Austin and Company are eventually sent back up the entrance way and the celebrate station takes place inside the ring Stone Cold comes back with a steel chair he manages to hit the Anvil but the remaining Hearts jump on Stone Cold Austin ends up getting handcuffed and stone cold is once again escorted back up the ramp the show comes to an end with the whole hard Clan coming under the ring everyone is here still your heart Helen heart even young Davey Boy Smith Jr Teddy Hart Tyson Kidd and Natalya can be seen in the ring celebrating as Canadian Stampede comes to an end Roll opens up with some Brad hard fans taking things way too seriously hypocritical because they're the ones that are into freedom of speech he's telling the truth about Americans and that's all I got to say Vince McMahon still puts over the fact that the Heart Foundation or Hills and he talks about how Brett and Company bash the United States in the weeks leading up to Canadian Stampede overall Nitro Mean Gene Oberland is ready to conduct an interview so we've got a Bret Hart promo on Raw while Ming Jane talks to Kurt Hennig we also have a harlem hate versus Public Enemy march on Nitro The Hitman gets another baby face reception as he walks to the ring wearing an Edmonton Oilers Jersey these 1997 WWF shows in Canada really do let us see why Brad Hart's heel turn was so good and why it was so unique after Vince McMahon announces that Brad will get a WWF title shot at SummerSlam The Hitman starts the promo off with hello Dairy Vince thinks this is great The Hitman starts off with a powerful line thank you for letting me still be your hero The Hitman says no one is more proud to be Canadian than he is he isn't sure how all this escalated because Brad Hart isn't anti-American he's just pro-canadian Brad says Canada still has Health Care gun control across Canada people care for each other and Brad's proud to be a Canadian and he's proud to be a Canadian hero Brad then says he's gone a step into the ring against the Undertaker at SummerSlam and he promises not to let his Canadian fans down Brad's gonna bring the belt home and become a five-time WWF Champion and if Brad doesn't win the title then he promises never to wrestle again on American soil Hart then introduces the family Owen comes out first to another great reaction Brad then says the most powerful man in the WWF is on his way to the ring the current European champion and Chin lock free for two weeks Davy Boy Smith it's announced here that Davey's going to defend the European title against Kenny Shamrock at SummerSlam Davies looking good too it's amazing what staying off the Gen locks can do to her man Brad then directs the audience's attention to the Titantron where the maple leaf is shown in the Canadian national anthem plays in the arena we get this fantastic shot of Brad Owen and Debbie but it all gets ruined when Steve Austin hits the ring with a steel chair Austin gets in a few cheap shots and he laughs on the runway after the attack what a low down stank and rotten hyena during the break Brad says this is what he goes through every week in the United States but the Hitman is not going to sit back and allow Austin to disrespect Canada Vince McMahon apologizes for the ultimate eruption before raw moves on Austin and Hunter had a decent match on Raw it started off with Austin blowing his nose on the commentary tablecloth and he stole Vince McMahon's water Hunter then made his way down to the ring with China and tripolia chilled early on that he'd been doing his homework but so would Stone Cold Austin even studied Triple H's little rang pose Hunter ends up taking the flare Corner bump and he gets dropped on the guardrail he tries to steal a victory back inside the ring but Austin makes him pay with a clothesline we take a commercial break and when we come back Hunter counter is a super Plex attempt but his follow-up aerial attack gets blocked Austin doesn't get a chance to capitalize though as hunter gets a boot up in the corner Triple H then lays in the strikes and we see the knee drop but Stone Cold kicks out at two when Austin performs the Luther's press China is hot enough she sets a chair in the ring for Hunter to use and she trips Steve Austin up at the ropes Hunter grabs the chair but mankind runs down and fully ends up taking the chair shot Austin then kneels Triple H with a stunner and Stone Cold wins after to the boat Austin tells mankind to get in the ring Stone Cold says he doesn't like mankind but he will go to war with him so Austin offers a handshake mankind wants a hug so the two hug it out and it looks like we have our tag team for next week stone cold then hits mankind with a stunner Austin talks trash and he tells mankind he shouldn't trust anybody before saying mankind sucks and Mankind's a long-haired freak so it looks like fully will actually not him with Austin next week mankind grabs a microphone and Stone Cold walks up the entrance way and he says all he wanted was a friend next week Mankind's gonna do something he thought he'd never have to do again the WWF will never be the same Austin will never be the same and without a doubt mankind will never be the same sounds like a threat from Mick Foley on Raw Steve Austin comes out again and this kind of feels like overexposure at this point especially seeing as Austin's gonna get booed anyway Stone Cold says he doesn't care about the Canadian fans and the reaction he gets next week in San Antonio will probably be a lot different Vince once again asks about Austin's tag team partner and even stone cold is sick of hearing about it you ask and ask just like a jackass who's your partner gonna be Steve Austin says he understands that Gorilla Monsoon will exercise his right to pick a partner for Steve if he doesn't make a decision himself and Stone Cold says that's fine because gorilla hasn't exercised his tub of gut's body in 30 years Stone Cold does not care he says he'll defend the Tag Team titles by himself then Stan says Stone Cold will get an icy title shot at SummerSlam against Owen Hart Austin admits that one pend him last night in the Canadian Stampede but it won't happen again so confident in stone cold that he tells McMahon to write a stipulation into the contract if Austin can't win the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam Owen can pull down his tights and Austin will kiss his ass right in the middle of the Ring that's how our promo landed what I don't get is why haven't the hard Foundation tried to get revenge for the attack earlier on they have had two chances now and they didn't take neither of them Canada's own Brad Hart versus Goldust then the headman starts off aggressively by throwing Gold Dust to the outside and Brad dishes out some punishment in front of the Canadian fans Hart then hits an inverted Atomic drawback inside the ropes he follows this with a clothesline and Brett runs the bizarre one's face against the top rope wide the crowd cheer him on Brad then targets the lower back and Goldust has to rip the hitman's eyes in order to stop the onslaught Brad almost immediately goes back in the driver's seat by countering a body slam Brad then throws Gold Dust at the corner and he gets up on his very own rope and he okay he then drops a double ax handle he performs a body slam he hits an elbow drop complete domination from Brad Hitman heart the commentary team talk about the SummerSlam man event and hybrid could potentially Never Wrestle in the United States again if he can't beat the Undertaker Goldust gets hung up in the tree of Woe Bradley is in the kicks and what the biker Michael likers why are they still teasing that the Undertaker sends the DOA to do his dirty work or something I don't know but these guys man Goldust does a little damage on the outside as the DOA hang out around the ring and just before we go to commercial break the Cavalry arrives Brad soldiers are here to take care of these dirty old Brad gets thrown out of the ring and gold dust is wise enough to move Brad he shakes his hand a very rare instance of Stone Cold shaking someone's hand and not hitting a stunner afterwards what a fun feel good ending the WWF Raw this week people in the audience are laughing smiling and cheering for Mick Foley his Dude Love dances in the ring just before raw feeds the black the reaction the Heart Foundation getting Halifax is absolutely ridiculous even Vince McMahon can't hide how awesome this is as the Hitman and his band of merry men stand in the ring a sea of maple leaf flags and pink and black signs surrounding them Brad says it's great to be back in God's country he had a nightmare where he woke up in San Antonio where fans spit and throw stuff at people who tell the truth and Brad makes an observation he says the United States of America is shaped like one yeah Sean's been hurt again he won't be wrestling in tonight's Main Event surprise surprise Sean asks Vince if he wants a lawsuit because this is happening way too often Brad Owen and Debbie come down to the ring and Brad says the night doesn't go any further until he hears the Canadian national anthem all Canada players in the arena Brad and Owen sang with passion as Davey clearly has other things on his mind right now and there's a roar in the audience when the anthem comes to an end this crowd has been excellent tonight Steve Austin comes down to the ring and then Dude Love makes an appearance it looks like Dude Love and Austin are going to go ahead and start the March so it's a three on two advantage to the Heart Foundation the rules are simple all you got to do is grab your the arena and when we come back the WWF Champion has joined Austin and Dude Love Davey was in the ring but he quickly tags out worn and Brad stop Dude Love from grabbing the flag and Dude Love decides to tag in the Undertaker the Phenom is all fired up and no one gets destroyed the if he tries to help his brother-in-law but the Undertaker makes quick work of the British Bulldog before Owen gets choked out Owen then takes a choke slam Undertaker covers on and Brett smacks the dead man for being a silly you gotta get the flag there big man Austin gets tagged in and it looks like Owen has Austin's number that's until Austin has a clothesline and he lets the Canadian fans know exactly how he feels about them Austin then performs a chin log by looking at the Bulldog dead in the Eyes Austin even cheats into it love lands a hand Davey's sweating bullets at the moment and then Owen fights out but he takes a need of the midsection touch and lock her Devi more than a hard one dude Austin comes back in and no one misses another enzagiri attempt but the King of Hearts pushes Austin away during a sharpshooter attempt and a clothesline puts Austin on the mat finally Brad Hart gets a tag and the audience completely lose their when Brad hits a clothesline on Stone Cold Foley saves Austin from a figure four Around The Ring post and Austin tags The Undertaker take her head's bulldog with a choke slam and he goes for a tombstone but Brad puts a stop to that and both the Undertaker and Brad go down after a double close line it's then a race to see who can get their flag first it looks like ticker's gonna get Old Glory first but Brad Pullman appears and ticker gets hit with a low blow Brad then grabs the maple leaf and the Heart Foundation win the match there's a big celebration in the arena just before raw goes off the air Austin looks incredibly pissed off as the Heart Foundation minus Jim nighthard strangely celebrating the audience and oh well done Davey Boy Smith five whole weeks without a chen lock he'll get a little bronze medal soon if he keeps this up a very good main event from raw with the gimmick March that really fit the theme of the show and the current main storyline of the company both raw and Nitro had good main events this week foreign s take on Stone Cold and Dude Love next on Raw on Nitro we have a Double J and Dean malenko promo and a six versus Dallas Page March Austin gets Henry out of the boat after a few right hands and it starts off with Mech and Phineas Owen and Bulldog who are providing commentary for this March say they can't wait to get back to God's country in the near future his Dude Love hits a clothesline inside the ring Austin gets tagged in and Bulldog says his wife could beat these guys quicker than she beats off his massive I mean quicker than she beat the competition to become Mrs Calgary Henry gets tagged in and he instantly takes a closed Line Stone Cold loses his footing a bit because he's so warmed up but Henry turns it around when Dude Love gets tagged back in Owen says on commentary that there's absolutely no way Austin's gonna beat him at SummerSlam and then Henry comes in and some double team action keeps Foley at Bay Bulldog says he's the strongest man in the WWF not just because he lives the heaviest weights but he's mentally strong because he's been off the channel talks for five weeks Candy Boy Shamrock's gonna eat some dog food at SummerSlam to celebrate Davy's Milestone and tonight on RAW Davey's gonna beat can in an arm wrestling competition more on that later dude loveland's a bulldog and then Stone Cold comes in absolutely cleaning house with a Luther's press on Phineas before landing body slams and clotheslines on both Pig boys we see the stunner but Austin gets sent to the outside afterwards giving Owen Hart the chance to hit Austin with his IC championship belt Austin then gets counted out so the Goblins have a victory over the Tag Team Champions even dude loves all like I can't believe this just happened Austin retaliates against the one and this leads to a big old fight outside the ring the Legion of Doom come out to help Austin and dude live and it ends with the hills escaping back up the ramp Austin grabs a headset and he promises the web own heart this week at SummerSlam the Owen vs Austin SummerSlam match was indeed memorable but not for the reasons Austin hoped for Stone Cold Steve Austin gets a shot at the Intercontinental title next meaning Austin could become a double Champion Austin moved his focus on the Owen Hart ever since the King of Hearts penned the rattlesnake at Canadian Stampede nothing much going on in the build-up Owen's been getting in shape shots where impossible and if Austin can't get the job done he said he'd kiss someone's ass in the middle of the Ring after the March Austin had a WWF title shot back at a cool day in hell and he was unsuccessful tonight he has another chance at winning his first WWF singles title Michael Cole tries to get a word with Austin but stone cold is in the zone and there's no interview the two men make their entrances with the crowd going crazy for Austin but they get silenced when Owen immediately attacks the knee Austin doesn't get a chance to get his jacket off his Zone goes to work and Stone Cold ends up taking some damage at the rank post unfortunately for on this wasn't enough to stop Stone Cold we see the Luffy's press and no one gets slammed in the map repeatedly afterwards Austin then choks are on at the ropes the King of Hearts thinks he's smart when he Dodges Austin's attack but Stone Cold Nails Austin with a big clothesline and The Crowd Goes Nuts Austin maintains rest control and he begins working on one shoulder this doesn't last long Owen performs his headstand counter and all this fancy means nothing when you get poked in the eye afterwards Austin's laser focused here and he wants to go straight back to the arm and shoulder a few switches result in one getting slammed in the mud while his arm was still behind his back heart replies with a back elbow Austin then tries to use the ring post but all encounters and Austin takes the impact the icy Champion focuses on Austin's hands and fingers hard Stomps on Austin's hand he bites Austin he tries to pull and stretch the fingers apart Owens getting vicious here and he's also close to getting himself disqualified Austin comes back with a stun gun and then we see a rare Steve Austin parbomb when Owen goes for a hurricane Rana Owen then gets clotheslined out of the ring and he decides that's enough he's gonna walk away and get himself counted out Austin chases on and the champ gets brought back to the ring this one isn't over yet Owen begs for Mercy but that gets him nowhere what does help though is a belly to belly suplex followed by a neck breaker Owen then hits an elbow drop but Austin kicks out a two a neck Vice does not get on a submission Victory and Austin decides that almost decapitated on with a clothesline from The Corner Stone Cold then goes for a sharpshooter and I don't know why he keeps doing this he hasn't locked it in in a long long time Austin rolls through after a no one hard crossbody but he only gets two Owen performs a German suplex but again it only gets two the match then slows down with the one applying a camel clutch followed by a chen lock the two then trade sleeper holds but Owen takes a jawbreaker and man this match has been fantastic so far Owen stops a second rope double X handle and he applies another chin lock careful there on he transitions into a headlock and he tries to use the ropes for leverage but not having her catches the chomp cheating and no one breaks the hold Austin gets up he lands a few punches and then it happens [Applause] this is still hard to watch even today seeing the pile driver is bad enough but seeing Austin Lang Motionless In The Rain on heart looking seriously worried an art hebner being unsure what to do it's bad Austin got dropped on his head and he legitimately lost feeling in his limbs he said it felt like a Gong going off in his head and at this very moment he's under the impression that he'll never walk again Owen tries to buy Austin sometime but Austin needs medical attention urgently there's no getting up and continuing the March Austin was supposed to win the boat so he crawls over and performs a weak school boy pin even this is hard to watch and Austin wins the IC championship in one of the worst ways possible nobody knows how bad Austin's hurt and it doesn't look good he tries to stand up and lift the icy title but he needs help from officials he makes his way back up the entranceway and his feet are dragging along the floor Austin of course does come back to the ring eventually but he's forced to come completely change how he wrestles again many would say just like Brian Pullman that Austin would come back the in-ring action way too soon raw is going to be very interesting this week after what happened in the IC and World title marches at SummerSlam we waste no time at all raw opens up with a heart foundation promo while Lex Luger cuts a promo on Nitro we also have six versus Chris Benoit Jim Ross says the main event last night at SummerSlam was controversial Brad hard spot on Sean Michaels and Brad Harper vote Sean Michaels but the Hitman can keep the smile off his face Brad says he proved last night that he's the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be and he proved it Against All Odds Brad says the WWF aren't holding up their end of the title match stipulation in regards to Sean Michaels though Brad said Sean was biased he favored The Undertaker the whole way through the March so Brett wants to know what the WWE effort want to do about it Jim Ross reveals that breakfast is the Patriot at the next in your house show Ground Zero and the Hitman says his loss against the Patriot on Raw last week was a fluke Brad finds it funny that the Patriot stands for morals yet he Associates himself with guys like Shawn Michaels and that's done and Lucy hanging and Steve Austin Brad then says he's proud of Devi the Bulldog Shield class in his match against Ken Shamrock and because of Ken's actions the world's most dangerous man will never get another shot at the European belt Davey looks absolutely wrecked from all those Chen locks last night seriously he looks out of it in regards to Brian Pullman wearing a dress tonight Brad says it isn't going to happen Brad's the new sheriff in town and if the Hitman says it ain't gonna happen then it ain't gonna happen Owen says he's angry with himself he showed compassion during his AC title defense and he lost the championship Owen says that's fine because Austin is not in Hospital in New Jersey in the career of Steve Austin is over Owen says he beat himself at SummerSlam maybe not the best choice of words and Austin should forfeit the title and hand it back to the King of Hearts if he doesn't want his ass kicked again Jim Ross then introduces the new WWF commissioner it's Sergeant Slaughter and apparently this new commissioner has full power and full Authority in the WWF Slaughter says Brett isn't the sheriff he is and he says the first thing he's doing is booking Brett hard in a match against the Patriot at Ground Zero yes we already know that Sarge as for Divi he's going to face Shamrock again soon Brian pillman will wear the dress and no one's going to get a chance to face Austin again when Austin recovers from injury Steve Austin then appears so he isn't in hospital he's holding an actress he says he doesn't need a doctor's approval Owen was too stupid to cover Austin when he had the chance and Austin says he's coming after Owen Hart tonight on RAW Austin's eyes are really bloodshot here he needed to be at home but Austin said in documentaries the taking time off the road would have potentially killed his push he happens fully again ends up on the outside and Brett Rams make into the ring post the Hitman throws Foley back in the ring and no one applies the Sharpshooter Steve Austin then appears he grabs a Slammy award at the commentary table and officials have to come down to stop Brad and Austin fighting with each other in the middle of the chaos Austin heads on with the salami and do love ends up winning via penfold Austin heads back up the ramp looking very pissed off Brad checks on on Dude Love gets jumped by those groupies and he gets properly jumped by the way look at the Fun Mrs Foley's baby boys having right now and raw feeds the black solid main event this week from Roy's War it isn't talked about much so check it out if you have the time on Raw Jim Ross interviews Steve Austin and Stone Cold isn't in a great mood you really do get the feeling that Austin was still legitimately pissed off with what happened at SummerSlam and you can't blame him either Austin says the WWF Cold makes the final decision and one heart is still going to get this kicked out of him Stone Cold's words by the way not mine Austin says he'll take a few weeks off he got a bit depressed watching the SummerSlam match over and over again but he sees his career continuing on he he's been doing this for eight years the pie driver won't stop Stone Cold oh only slow him down Austin says he's gonna show up at Ground Zero he doesn't know if he's gonna compete he doesn't know if he'll forfeit the WWF tag team championship but he will be at the show great promo here and as mentioned you can really sense Austin wasn't happy with his current situation and again who could blame him hunt this one down online though and give it a watch it's a very real WWF promo and it's one of Austin's best the road defending the IC title but the WWF are covering themselves by suspending the rattlesnake they're afraid of getting sued Stone Cold says he's coming after Owen Hart Austin will get payback and then Steve gets in a little target practice he hits Jim Ross right in the Boomer Center he then tells the cameraman to watch his step and if he falls Austin will beat the out of him it's brilliant watch that step it's a duty and if you fall I'll beat that out of you come on over here boy Stone Colt hits his Target the deer's ass and Steve says he's still going to show up at Ground Zero he'll maybe give up the tag belt but he's keeping the Intercontinental Championship but it does sound like Austin wants a fight so we gotta wait until the pay-per-view later on the week dog Hendricks then lets the fans know what matches they're going to see tonight but he gets interrupted by Steve Austin Stone Cold was suspended on Friday night's main event for his own good considering the injury to his neck and he has to give up his tag team title tonight on the pay-per-view but Austin says he promised the fans someone would get whipped tonight and that's exactly what's gonna happen we get a replay of the SummerSlam Pi driver next and we get a recap of Steve Austin's suspension announcement it's time for Stone Cold and dude love to give up their Tag Team titles commissioner Slaughter and Jim Ross are in the ring and dude love comes out first Foley says usually the dudes a happy cat but tonight there's no joy in dudeville Foley says he could try and defend the belts by himself but that wouldn't be right if it wasn't for stone cold then Dude Love wouldn't be a tag team champion so with a heavy heart and a pinned pancreas do you love real languishes his tag team championship belt and comes Stone Cold Steve Austin their great Ovation he squares up the Sergeant Slaughter before taking the microphone away from Jr and Austin tells Slaughter that if Stone Cold says he can wrestle then he can wrestle nobody can tell Steve Austin what to do Steve then masses the commissioner around a little pulling the belt away when Slaughter goes to retrieve it stone cold then throws the belt on the map before calling slaughter a jackass and ordering him to drop down and give Stone Cold 20. Slaughter then gingerly grabs the tag belt and he gets out of the ring Austin then turns his attention to Jim Ross he hands Ross the mic back before calling him a fat ass and Jim says both he and the fans want Austin back in the ring but the World Wrestling Federation won't let Stone Cold risk his health Jim wants Steve to wrestle again sooner rather than later Austin takes the mic back and he surprises Everyone by hitting Ross with a stone cold stunner the crowd absolutely loved this Vince McMahon leaves his position at the commentary table his Dude Love tries to keep Stone Cold under control Sergeant Slaughter sends Austin back up the ramp way and the Medics and the officials come down to attend the Jim Ross the crowd chance Slaughter sucks as Ross gets held to the back and then we go backstage where doc Hendricks interviews Owen Hart and Davey Boy Smith doc says Owen must be worried after what just happened to Jr and Owen says what just happened in the ring was a load of crap Ross didn't deserve what happened and what what's worse the fans of America are condoning it the King of Hearts says he's gonna Lobby for Steve Austin to not only get fined not only get suspended but Owen wants Austin put behind bars for assault Divi boy says even though Jim Ross is from Oklahoma he still didn't deserve what happened in the ring the tag team fit a four-way elimination match was up next the head bangers versus the godwins versus Owen and David versus the Legion of Doom same rules as WrestleMania 13 only two guys in the ring at any one time anyone standing on the apron can get tagged in at any time when a man loses by pinfall submission DQ or contact that man's team gets eliminated the tag team belts are on the line here and just to get the big important question out of the way early there are no Chen locks in this match this is the final time on television that Owen and Davey would team up and they've been a constant source of great entertainment throughout the whole reliving the war Series so far so it's kinda sad that we have no further on in Davy tag marches to look forward to the Legion of Doom were the first team eliminated animal intercepted the slot bucket but the referee called The Road Warrior using the bucket as a weapon The Headbangers work together to eliminate Henry and Phineas so it came down to Owen and Debbie versus the head bangers Owen hits a gut Ranch super Flags followed by a leg drop on Thrasher Owen and Divi then single out Thrasher and we see some dirty tactics From The Heart Foundation Debbie gets tagged in and he performs a vertical suplex Owen comes back in illegally with a massage drop kick and no one in the Bulldog perform a wishbone on Thrasher it was all going so well until this happened another brand spasm it seems but this spot leads to Marsh getting tagged in and the timing was all over the place here more stands there waiting for Owen to get tagged in before firing up Owen inadvertently hits the heavy with a wheel kick and the bulldog gets sent to the outside more timing issues results in Thrasher waiting for ages on the top rope before Debbie launches his plans attack but the March gets saved by Steve Austin making his way to the ring and the crowd once again to lose their minds Austin hits on with a stone cold stunner Marsh Penzone and The Headbangers become the new tag team champions motion Thrasher celebrate while Owen and Divi head back up the ramp to look for Austin and and you know I think The Headbangers deserve the run with the tag team belts they had been having some of the best tag matches in the World Wrestling Federation although they were also picked to lose quite frequently if the WWF one gonna go with Owen and Davey again and if the WWF were going to keep up the booking of the Road Warriors then The Headbangers were the next best choice we see Martian Thrasher celebrating at the concession stands with a bunch of hyped up fans the March itself was a little shaky in places but still better than the triple threat encounter [Music] Sergeant Slaughter says it was absolute chaos last night at Ground Zero and yes I agree but you're supposed to maintain Law and Order you big bozos who stop bitching and do your job Slaughter says the WWF Superstars WWF officials and WWF fans need to realize that things are going to change around here the Sarge's sick and tired of all this and the commissioner calls out Steve Austin Slaughter says Stone Cold was completely out of land last night he reminds Austin that he suspended until he gets clearance from a doctor and slaughtered Sweating Bullets now it's a hard work promo Slaughter then drops a bombshell there's going to be a tournament for the Intercontinental Championship and it's going to begin tonight and ended bad blood in your house Slaughter orders Austin to Forfeit the title at the pay-per-view and Austin has to present the winner with the championship belt it's an absolute deck move Steve Austin makes his way down to the ring and when Stone Cold called slaughter a jackass Vince McMahon demands that Austin shows some respect Austin says he respects no one standing in the ring right this minute stronghold says he's gonna break every law that Slaughter makes Sergeant Slaughter likes to make orders but Stone Cold says the only thing the commissioner has been ordering are a bunch of cheeseburgers in regards to delivering the icy title A Bad Blood Austin says he'll deliver a can of whoop ass to Slaughter's front door Austin says do I make myself clear and then he hits the commissioner with a stone cold stunner just like a ground zero the crowd lose their minds and this was some clever booking right here Austin couldn't wrestle just yet but having him go after officials and authority figures really helped him stay in the Limelight Vince asks Austin what the hell he's doing and this leads to Austin almost attacking Vince McMahon ends up hiding behind a few officials on the outside while Stone Cold takes his spot at the commentary table eventually Austin leaves and McMahon's able to join Jr and the King but credit where it's due here this was a great opening the rose War but before moving on we see security trying to remove Austin from the arena Brad Hart calls the fans a bunch of idiots as JR announces a flag March for Bad Blood Brett and the bulldog vs Vader in Patriot Brett wonders what it's like to live in a city that's famous for a disgrace Sports hero who gets a street named after him eight Rose The Hitman says America is the land of disgraced Heroes and he tells the fans to enjoy this next matchup Brad says he's gonna get immense pleasure out of kicking Vader's ass Brett uses the WWF title to attack Vader at the start of the boat he lives in a few Corner punches but Vader manages to kick Brad away and the Hitman takes a clothesline theater then takes the WWF title and Brad gets hit he then takes the Canadian flag he breaks the flagpole and Brad gets hit with the maple leaf just like Friday night's Main Event last week the match goes to the outside where vietor takes a bump on the steps Brad then uses those steps as a weapon but it doesn't do much damage Vader gets right back up and Brad gets clocked a few times and then our Lord and savior shows up Davey Boy Smith we come back from commercial brick and Brad's taken a few blows to the face he's so days that he misses a wild Haymaker but hard hits a low blow and the tables have turned Brad goes on offense and he even hits a suplex on Vader he then removes the turnbuckle padding but the plan backfires Brad ends up taking the bump chairs first bitter then hits Brad with a Power Bomb Dave is like oh my God I can't believe it Vader goes for the better bomb and Debbie decides to put an end of this nonsense bitter suplexes Divi into the ring Brad gets hit with a clothesline but the hard Foundation quickly go on offense and Vader needs help here comes the Patriot the sore loser that he is he throws Debbie into bread the crowd pops but on hard comes down to land his brother and brother-in-law at hand Brad grabs a chair he takes out both Vader and the Patriot it's absolutely glorious the Heart Foundation attempt a spike pile driver on the chair with Owen doing the honors but the fun stops when Stone Cold Steve Austin hits the rank to another thunderous Ovation Brett and David get wiped out Owen tries an insecuri but Austin sees it coming Stone Cold chases the hills of the ramp and that's why the March ended we then see Sergeant Slaughter backstage and he's nursing his bad neck per Sarge it looks like Sunny's not allowed in the Heart Foundation dressing room at least when the cameras are rolling and Sonny wonders if Owen's concerned about Steve Austin lurking around while Dave is praying that Sonny doesn't say anything incriminating he's like can we please please get this over with Owen says he's not afraid of Austin just look at what Owen did to Austin at SummerSlam but if Stone Cold wants to interfere well he'll have to go through Davey and Brad first of all Owen says the icy belts coming back to the king of hearts and the road to the title begins now with Gold Dust here's the tournament brackets and the Lizzy bastards are using the same graphic as they did for the last tournament also Dude Love vs Brian Pullman is gonna get rescheduled apparently Goldust was too much of an emotional wreck to get through the March he attacked while Owen was still removing his jacket he took it to the outside where he'd done more damage to the king of hearts and even the Hitman felt the Wrath of the bizarre one Davey Boy Smith got punched off the apron and Goldust ended up getting himself disqualified after he punched on Square in the balls no need for that man Jesus Brett and Davey jumped in the ring to go after gold dust and it just hit me here where the has Jim Neidhart been wasn't he supposed to shave his beard if any member of the Heart Foundation lost at SummerSlam and researching this it appears that the Anvil had other commitments he had to attend to Jim signed with a small time promotion a while back and they were threatening lawsuits if he didn't appear anyway Steve Austin makes the save with his trustee broom the hearts get taken out and they go back up the ramp Austin then sweeps the ring a little before throwing the broom at Vince McMahon The Crowd Goes Nuts Goldust is now left all alone and we hear from Brian Pullman once again a video players where we see Marlena taking a shower apparently we don't actually see her and Pullman says gold dust's wife is currently getting primed up for round number two bran says he hopes Gold Dust gets some rest because perlman's gonna have a hard time a real hard time getting any sleep tonight on Raw Steve Austin cuts a promo before the light heavyweight match he tells Jr to ask him more specific questions or he'll drop him again with a stunner and when Jerry Lawler tells Austin that Owen Hart has some sort of surprise in store for the rattlesnake tonight Austin says he doesn't care Owen Hart had some payback coming and the King of Hearts can't do anything to hurt Austin more than what he already did on Raw Steve Austin is going to cut a promo on Nitro wrath and mortis take on The Outsiders I've got a bad feeling about this one so Jerry Lawler is going to conduct this Steve Austin interview so we know where this is going Lawler tries to avoid the inevitable by saying the way the WWE haven't treated Austin lately as a crying sham the king says he almost finger Stone Cold could destroy the King of Hearts but Owen's got held a pay along with the whole heart foundation speaking of which the boy always come out to enter up to Austin Brad says there's a word for guys like Austin Austin's a hoser and the Hitman says he's been waiting a very long time to say that so Austin's not an animal a low down stank and rotten hyena and a hoser Brad says the Heart Foundation sick of Austin's attacks and it's time to put an end it Brad sends some shmup to the ring while Owen says the hearts have used the American justice system to their advantage Steve Austin gets served with a temporary restraining order and Owen says if Austin gets within 100 feet of the King of Hearts he's going in The Slammer Owen says this everywhere an animal an animal like you belonged but this guy is nothing but an animal he's an animal an animal the hearts walk away is Stone Cold and Lawler look over the paperwork Lawler puts his head right over Austin's shoulder and he ends up taking a stunner this wasn't the most impressive thing about this promo though check this out Austin's head stunners on Jr Slaughter and Jerry Lawler Jim Ross speculates that Vince McMahon could be next a fun promo though and as mentioned last week Steve's getting more popular by staying out of action it's pretty impressive what they're doing here we've got an NW promo up next on Nitro while own heart battles the Patriot on Raw Jim cornette's gonna replace Jerry Lawler on commentary because well that stunner almost broke the king's neck by the looks of things we have seen this match before we get another flag wave in contest at the beginning of the boat which Owen clearly won by the way Patriot with an arm drag into an arm bar the two tread Hammer logs Patriot with a hip toss and bunch of cops standing right behind him when we come back from break Austin's disappeared but the cops are still standing there these cops aren't very bright are they back in the ring the Patriots suffering and Big Time Owen's got a chin lock applied Owen goes for a pile driver and even though Patriot counters the King of Hearts manages the floor's opponent with a wheel kick Patriot comes back with a crossbody and no one takes the sternum first turnbuckle bump before also taking a back suplex Patriot eventually hits the Patriot missile and Owen takes a few punches in the corner Patriot has slowed down considerably here just as the one was about to make a comeback Steve Austin shows up he climbs the guard rail Austin stands on the apron he rips up the restraining order Owen backs off and the Patriots able to pin the King of Hearts for the win this one got better as it went on but it still wasn't great it seemed like Dale Wilkes wasn't very motivated tonight and I'm not just saying that because I wasn't a big fan something was off here this is also the Patriots last match on Raw his next matches take place on shotgun Saturday night and of course he has a match on the Bad Blood pay-per-view he still makes appearances on Raw by the way but he doesn't get any more matches on Monday nights Steve Austin shows up in the ring next on Raw while WCW presents a Lucha Hitman tag and that Roddy Piper announcement that we've been hearing about all night Austin attacks Owen while the King of Hearts was dedicating his upcoming title Victory to Big Brother Brett the cops run in the pool Austin away it's absolute pandemonium and the crowd eats it up Vince McMahon jumps into the ring and he tells Austin to get a hold of himself while asking the cops for a minute to talk McMahon asks Austin what's the matter with him everyone understands why he's upset but Stone Cold shouldn't break the law Vince wants Austin to realize that he can't compete for his own good doctors have said if Stone Cold wrestles again before healing up then he could do some serious permanent damage in the WWF aren't prepared to stand by and let Stone Cold hurt himself then says the fans don't want Austin they end up in a wheelchair they want to see him compete but it can only happen in due time Austin checks his watches McMahon says the WWF and the fans care about him stone cold just has to work within the system and everything will be okay Austin says this is what he does for a living this is all he does and he's the best in the world at what he does and even though McMahon isn't the one sitting at home every week Stone Cold says he'll work within the system if that's what it takes to make everyone happy Austin says he appreciates the fact that Vince in the WWF care and Austin also appreciates the fact that you can kiss my ass absolutely phenomenal the roof comes off the garden as Vince takes the stunner and He Flops around like a fish out of water afterwards what a moment people bring up McMahon's sale job but who the cares Austin's so fired up after the stunner and the cred reaction couldn't have been any more perfect this was a great piece of business here on raw's war Stone Cold gets handcuffed as the crowd chanter's name he flips McMahon off while in the cuffs and Vince tries to kick Stone Cold away and it ends with Austin laughing while walking back up the ramp way Jim Ross says that's it Austin's fired and he's never gonna come back after this one just before we go to commercial break absolutely wonderful stuff I'm sure you've seen this before but watch it back when you get the chance Stone Cold's arrived at the arena and he's on his way to the ring Austin cuts a promo on Roll while Chris Jericho battled six on Nitro Austin makes his way down to the ring and he stares a hole through Vince McMahon he tells Vince all he's been hearing all week is that McMahon has something to say to him so he holds the ropes open as Vince gets in the ring then says Austin's either a lunatic or he just doesn't give a damn but right now Vince doesn't give a damn either McMahon's tired of trying to protect Austin and trying to protect his staff from Austin's attacks but he's not gonna do it anymore Austin says it sounds like Vince is about to fire him so then should just get on with it Austin doesn't care either way McMahon gives Austin three options number one Austin can bring a doctor's note to Raw next week that says he's able to wrestle but the chances of that happening are highly unlikely number two Austin can sign a waiver and if he gets hurt he can't sue the word Wrestling Federation it's Austin's problem if he gets seriously injured the third option Austin's contract gets terminated it and he's done with WWF Austin says no doctor knows his neck better than he does if Austin's ready to go he's ready to go Vince can bring a waiver to raw and maybe Stone Cold signs it or maybe he'll shove it up Vince's ass finally events fires Austin in front of the world then Austin will bait Vince's ass in front of the world and that's the bottom line cause Stone Cold says so Austin has some thinking to do we'll find out soon which option he goes for this is so good because you really do want to see what happens next you'd be waiting eagerly for the next episode of Raw to see how things unfold and as simple as that sounds it's something other storylines and rivalries struggle to do case in point Jeff Jarrett versus Steve McMichael Austin comes back and he flips McMahon off anytime they blur things up like this I have to go right decision so Owen's going to win the IC belt and he knows Vince is going to do the right thing next week on Raw Owen ends the promo and he poses in the corner what Owen didn't know is that Steve break we come back and our match is gonna resume Brad kunter is a top rope attack and the Hitman goes on to do what he does best he softens up the left leg in preparation for the Sharpshooter but when he goes for the ring post figure four another brawl breaks out between the hearts and the nation Ferg manages to get back in the ring but that ends up being a costly mistake because Steve Austin shows up from the crowd and he hits Farouk with a stone cold stunner Brad doesn't realize what happened but he'll take it anyway Brad covers Farouk and Brad wins via penfall I should have mentioned this during the entrances but the crowd were cheering for the Heart Foundation they also cheered for bread during the march and they cheered for bread after the match the nation complained of Vince McMahon before heading back up the entranceway and get ready to say goodbye to Brad on Raw because he only has one more module in the WWF Monday night show for us to look at over on Raw Owen Hart wants Sean to keep the ax in the back and no one says he'll keep the Heart Foundation in the back this is a title versus title march and the best man should walk away with two belts and two slammies DX come out to introduce Sean Michaels but the microphone doesn't work it's working in the TV feed but it's not working inside the arena so we at home can clearly hear Rick Rude ordering Triple H to get to the back and get someone to turn his mic on got the music [Music] finally rude's able to speak to the audience and he wants all these sleazy slimy Oklahoma idiots the button their lips open their eyes and pay attention it's time for the main event because DX is here rude introduces the showstopper the icon the main event and hpk finally walks out and he tells his teammates to head back to the locker room looks like the Heartbreak kid's comfortable enough to handle this one on his own Vince McMahon says that Owen Hart may be the real Hitman of the heart foundation and this is something that gets repeated on this night and its Survivor series by Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler the WWF were getting ready to move on onto something else perhaps When Brad left the company and this real Hitman thing is something I found fascinating back then who knows what the initial plans were for Owen but I'm sure everything went out the window following the screw job two of the wwf's absolute basketball added in little lit here but that's how it ends another DQ finish this week but my God we have got quite a lot of heat here on raw and this Brad vs Sean buildup has been great it's a shame in a way that what happens at the end of Survivor Series completely overshadows everything else the IC title was on the line in the Ahmed Johnson versus the one heart match but Ahmed didn't really stand the chance the nation stood on the runway keeping a close eye on both Owen and Ahmed but the nation were not the threat here oh no Steve Austin still wants to make sure that belt is kept around Owen Hart's waist so the rattlesnake once again helped out the King of Hearts by hitting a stone cold stunner on Owen's opponent okay so that's good but it's not what's important here what is important is this sound Ahmed Johnson made while performing a scissors kick with the one heart has him doubled over and down what was that anyway big squiggly boy Ahmed wins via disqualification but Owen keeps his belt Vince rages on outside the ring we then go to the war zone portion of the show and Jim cornette has left the commentary table McMahon and Lawler have taken over commentary duties alongside Jim Ross this was maybe going to be the original plan having two different announce teams for raw just like Nitro second half but this would be the final time McMahon commentates in any kind of full-time capacity due to what happens at Survivor series the IC title match is up next and this one's All About Steve Austin getting revenge for what happened at SummerSlam Austin suffered a severe neck injury when he took a pie driver from Owen Hart and he was forced to give up the Intercontinental Championship while also being forced to contemplate what to do next with his career Austin legitimately was worried about losing all his momentum by staying out of the ring so he's maybe coming back a little too soon here to face a one-hearted Survivor Series Austin helped the one win the icy title tournament that was held when the championship got vacated and he's also helped on during subsequent title defenses Austin didn't want Owen to lose that Championship the only person beating hard for the IC title would be the Texas rattlesnake and storyline Austin signed a new contract that would stop him from suing the World Wrestling Federation if he were to get seriously injured and he only agreed to sign it if this March in Montreal was also set in stone so here we are the stone cold we once knew is now gone Austin changes his ring style after the next back injury and you'll see what I mean if you watch this March back he had a pin of glass set up at the entranceway that didn't completely break though so that sucked but the Canadian audience still couldn't help cheering for Austin and Stone Cold had his fair share of fans in Montreal Owen comes to the ring with Team Canada and no one gets a great reaction too just like on raw's war Jim Ross calls who won the real Hitman after what he did to Austin at SummerSlam and it does make you wonder what the initial plans were for Owen and all of Tim Canada plans that probably weren't met due to what happens in tonight's Main Event there's a fair bit of time wasting at the start of this one and the match isn't going to go long either due to Austin's Health the Anvil tries a snake attack and he takes a stone cold stunner but this allows Owen to jump into the ring and launch an attack the crowd chanted break his neck his own went on offense but that's just fired Austin up more and no one gets destroyed in the corner one then goes for the pile driver and the crowd pops but Austin counters with a backdrop Owen goes to the outside where he's able to Rob Austin's leg around the rank post he then notices Team Canada getting sent in the back so Owen two tries to leave the March Austin gives cheers he takes a one out Stone Cold stares on offense all the way back to the ring but Owen slides out again he clearly wants no part of this much still the IC Champion hits a low blow and this finally gives him a chance to go on offense again Austin gets his head slammed on the broken Spanish announce table and Owen wrecks Austin's face Stone Cold gets choked with some cord the referee screams at a one to knock it off and when the two get back in the ring Owen stays on Austin back again rigging the face but all this isn't enough Austin throws Owen in the corner and he Stomps a mud hole in him they go through the same SummerSlam pile driver setup but there's no Pi driver this time around just a stone cold stunner that leads to Austin winning the Intercontinental Championship furnace and the fawn takes Stone Cold stunners too when they hit the ring after the bell and that's it stone cold is IC Champion once again this new brawler style of Steve Austin is what fans would have to become accustomed to but it's certainly he didn't come to any detriment to Austin's popularity quite fittingly right after this March the WWF air their first ever attitude promo video it's all about how people look at wrestlers and how wrestling isn't real yet some of the guys have legit athletic backgrounds and the guys also go through severe injuries while performing in the ring it ends with Bret Hart saying try lacing my boots and then the scratch logo gets revealed for the very first time over on Raw new IC Champion Stone Cold comes to the ring and his next rivalry gets set up during this promo Austin says he sat at home for three months drinking beer and he was still able to come back and reclaim his IC title because he's the toughest SOB in the World Wrestling Federation Michael Cole says because Austin's the IC Chomper might as well be a bullseye painted on his forehead and Austin says he'll paint the bullseye on Michael's ass and kick him all around the building Cole didn't get any respect at all in these early days did they the nation's music players in the arena and out walks Rocky Mountain fair this is a pretty important promo for my fear because we get to see a new cocky demeanor from the future great one and he also gives himself a brand new name he says the people know when Rocky Manville was IC Champion he was the best IC Champion there ever was come hell or high water Rocky Mountain View will get his IC Championship back and Austin's bottom line will read that Stone Cold's a has been compliments of The Rock Austin has a few challenges for the rock seeing as Rockies out here challenging Stone Cold Austin challenges Rock to get a new haircut and he challenges him to flush himself down the commode seeing as he's a big piece of crop Austin then grants Rocky that title shot and he says the rock doesn't suck because the fans say so he sucks because Stone Cold says so Rock's reactions were completely on point here and he made the most of his limited time Austin was good too you can tell very early on that there's definitely something here and thankfully the WWF realized the two foreign it's confirmed over on Raw that Steve Austin versus Rocky myvey is going to take place at D-Generation X in your house Austin doesn't want to wear it though he says if Rocky thinks he's something special and Rocky thinks he can beat stone cold then Rock should bring himself out to the ring and rock can bring anyone he wants with him too the nation's music players the faction have a quick discussion on the entranceway and rock decides to leave while furukama and Dalo make their way down to the ring the Nations surround Austin Dalo decides to jump in and try to take out the AC Champion but Austin hits a stunner and dilo's already done for Rocky then slides into the ring he takes the Intercontinental Championship belt Farooq and Karma held Dilo out of the ring and the nation head back up the ramp Roc Knight has Austin's property and Austin realizes that he was just set up that's my fair boy sure has some gigantic balls taking that IC title Austin grabs a headset at the commentary table and he says he'll get his belt back tomorrow at the airport when Rock has to go through security Rock isn't safe anywhere and Jim Ross looks a little shaken up as Austin leaves the nation are going to cut a promo next on Raw while over on Nitro Buff Bagwell wrestles Chris Jericho on Raw The Rock still got Austin's Intercontinental Championship but more importantly he's wearing a denim shirt and he's rocking the funny pack Michael Cole wishes he could be as cool as the rocktails Michael to get out of the ring and raw calls himself the people's Champion the best time Intercontinental Champion there ever was and Rox Mike keeps cutting off as he tries to address his adoring fans my view says a D-Generation X Steve Austin wants a slobberknocker but the Rocks calling the shots because he's the champ the crowd aren't paying attention the rocky though because the lights are now flashing on and off in the arena and there's a giant Rocky sucks on the Titantron someone's messing around in the truck and the Rock gets annoyed the nation go back to investigate and then we learned that Steve Austin's in the truck pushing all these buttons he tells Rocky to keep an eye on his pager when he's walking through the airport when it says 316 Rock will know his ass belongs to Stone Cold also then appears behind Rock's pager goes off and Rock's reaction was absolutely on point here brilliant Stone Cold launches an attack and The Crowd Goes Nuts the nation come back down and rocks eventually able to escape but check out Austin almost throwing himself over the top rope here it's amazing great stuff Austin and rock were kind of good for each other around this time period because Austin no longer had any Heart Foundation members to Target can't say enough good things about these very early days of what would become a legendary rivalry good promo seems like these two can do no wrong at the moment The Rock versus Vader's up next on Raw while over on Nitro we've got Scott Hall versus Disco Inferno two things here over on Raw first this fan here should have been made an honorary member of the nation could you imagine Ferg screaming at Spec's mcjober here as he keeps losing matches on TV I'd pay to see that secondly theater isn't blind anymore rubbing alcohol and hot coffee isn't enough to stop the man they call Vader the bell rings and AC DC's Back in Black can be heard as Steve Austin drives his pickup truck into the arena you'll need to dodge the peacock or WWE Network versions of raw though to hear the music unedited Austin got himself a few beers and he's having a good time while Rock loses his mind Rocky tries to go after stone cold but the nation hold them back and rock cries to refocus on theater the big man takes rock down with two clotheslines before throwing a few punches in the corner Rockets splashed in the opposite corner and Steve Austin still having a great old time watching Rocket annihilated Rock's able to get into the match by countering Wheeler's aerial attack with a part slam he then performs the float over DDT and Vader finds himself on the outside where the knee shouldn't get in a few free shots Vader gets tossed back inside where rock hits a body slam and he sends a message to Austin by punching Vader and his Vader balls the big man gets clothes lined out of the ring and then the artist formerly known as Golda shows up to lay an even more cheap shots pervader isn't getting a break here the match ends when Vader gets back in the ring and he takes the people's elbow theater forcefully kicks out and he chases Gold Dust back up the ramp way and that leads to her contact Rock and Austin shout at each other for a bit before Rock leaves with his Nation teammates but he turns around on the wrong way and he has one more look at Austin while furukama and Dalo continue to walk speaking of reintroductions Michael Cole interviews Mark Henry in the audience Mark's been away for quite some time but he's remained under contract and he's getting prepared for a return to WWF television Henry's hanging out with the sponsors the boys at Milton Bradley Mark says he's looking forward to his big return but right now he's rooting for stone cold in the next matchup the IC titles on the line it's Austin versus Rock though raw cause possession of the IC championship belt the night after Survivor Series Austin granted Rock a shot at the icy title but Rock decided to steal the belt the following week while Austin was dealing with other members of the nation Stone Cold tried to get it back by surprising rock with a 316 message on Rocky's pager but Rock was still able to escape with the title and just this past week on Raw Austin sent another message to Rocky by driving into the arena and his pickup truck and blaring AC DC's Back in Black during Rock's march with Vader sheds on tonight this is the first Rock versus Austin mods to take place on a WWF pay-per-view Raw Cuts a promo before the the March and it's Rocky doing all the talk and now Farooq doesn't say a word and you never really saw this during Nation promos before Rock joined the group Rock says he's gonna show why he's the best diamond or Continental Champion there ever was before making his entrance and rocks got all the hate tonight have a lesson [Applause] the crowd lose their minds though when Austin drives right up to the ring in a stone cold pickup truck Austin gets in the ring and the fight's on look at the crud standing on their feet the nation attacked Austin it's an absolute beat down before the March even begins Dido tries the Ronald Stone Cold and he gets backdropped onto the truck's windshield Austin then hits a stone cold stunner on top of his ride and good God this crowd is finally waking up this is awesome Stone Cold gets back inside the ropes the bell rings and we see the Luther's prayers as the crowd continue making noise but Austin quickly finds himself on the outside again and the nation launched another attack the faction bring Austin to the pickup truck Karma grabs a chair and Austin moves out of the way and for it gets cracked Kama then gets whipped hard into the truck and allowed Austin champ breaks out in the arena back in the ring Rod's able to take advantage and he hits a low blow while Karma distracts Mikey Oda Austin gets hit with a hard right hand he gets choked at the ropes raw kicks and punches Austin in the corner but Austin fights back with a few right hands of his own Rox disabled about Islam Austin in the middle of the Ring we see the people's elbow and there's a chin lock from the future great one could this match get any better the crowd and I chanting 316 and this could possibly be Austin's biggest Babyface reaction we've seen so far in reliving the war Springfield loves Stone Cold and this March really feels like a shot of adrenaline to this pay-per-view Rocco's for a second people's elbow but Austin moves out of the way more right hands from the rattlesnakes and Rocky to the corner and Austin proceeds to stomp a mud hole in his opponent Austin then ducks a clothesline he goes for the stunner but he's distracted by Karma on the apron Austin takes out Karma and he tries to pick up where he left off but he ends up accidentally stunning the referee the camera is unfortunately miss this rock puts on some brass Nooks he swings at Austin but Austin Ducks it and we see the stunner another referee runs down to counter three in the bell rings but if you look closely Mikey Oda is waving for a DQ either way Austin got what he came for he got his icy Championship belt back the finish of the match is quite important though and often overlooked because the controversy surrounding the ending leads to Steve Austin making an important decision tomorrow night on Raw good mods though and definitely the march of the night so far Vince McMahon gets booed by the audience during his entrance this is the episode where Vince realizes he's not a bad guy thanks to what happened at Survivor series and we're gonna see him Embrace his inner heel very slowly over the next few months McMahon says there's no denying the popularity of Stone Cold Steve Austin but Austin's been getting away with murder if assaulting officials and announcers wasn't bad enough Austin decided to drive his pickup truck into the arena last night and he endangered the fans around ringside while also using his vehicle as a weapon against his opponents Stone Cold gave the referee a stunner last night and that referee was going to disqualify Austin until another referee came down to the ring therefore and this is important Vince McMahon for the first time ever on TV is gonna demand a match tonight Stone Cold will face the rock on Raw Austin comes to the ring and he can't believe McMahon just ordered him to do something Austin does what he wants when he wants and he doesn't care who MC Anna's or who he thinks he is McMahon then says he's the pride owner of the World Wrestling Federation and furthermore Vince McMahon is Austin's boss when Austin says he doesn't give a damn McMahon says there will be consequences if Stone Cold doesn't do what he's told and something else McMahon wants to bring up the stone cold is his use of bad language Jesus Christ give me a chance Stone Cold says in the bag drank a few beers ate a few hot dogs and he'll have a thing about competing in the ring tonight Austin won his March farron square at DX but he'll let McMahon think about those consequences while Stone Cold himself contemplates his next steps Austin says if he comes back out later tonight someone will get their ass whipped it could be Jim Ross it could be an official it could even be Vince McMahon himself these two were so good together and they never miss when cutting promos against each other very interesting seeing the crowd boom McMahon though and Vince McMahon had no problems whatsoever embracing it the raw comes to the ring not knowing if Austin's even gonna bother showing up for this next march Vince McMahon stands at ringside and McMahon is visibly upset when Austin walks out not wearing his ring gear Austin says he's ready to fight no matter what he's wearing but he had his hot dogs and Steve Wiser's backstage and Stone Cold decided he won't wrestle The Rock tonight he already beat him last night at D-Generation X Austin wants to know what the consequences are of his actions and after Rock suggests that Austin gets fired McMahon says he'll strip Austin of his title and hand it over to the Rock if Austin doesn't compete Austin says he's been the IC Champion already he's been a tag team champion there's only one title Austin's not interested in and that's the WWF Championship Austin doesn't want the IC title Austin's happy to Forfeit the belt in order to get to the WWF Championship Austin then hands the Intercontinental Bell to The Rock he convinces Rock to shake his hand and just when you think Austin's turned over a new Leaf he hits Rocky with a stone cold stunner and he reminds Rog of one important thing don't trust anybody Austin then steals the IC title he tells Vince to grab a camera crew and sand him with stone cold because Austin has plans for the belt next week all we have to be is tune in same Stone Cold times same Stone Cold channel so Austin is no longer the IC Champion but he has possession of The Rock's IC belt Austin leaves the ring but he runs back in to celebrate with the audience stone cold then knocks vents off the apron and we get to see a little of the Mr McMahon character when Vince gets back to his fate the Austin vs McMahon rivalry started long ago but if you want to pinpoint the moment where it really gets going I'd say it's right here on this episode of Raw the raw cutter promo next to on Raw
