Stewart 6 wheel Tyrell

okay we're leaving the uh pits at the POR recard circuit down here at the south of France where the French gr Prix has been held many times and we're uh fortunately I've won the Grand Prix here a couple of times we're through the club circuit or the short circuit going going under the back straight done the mcap here going into the very fast right hand B which is tricky B done okay now we're behind Jord Shaka and the AL team T fourwheeler Formula One car of course sliding the car out into the s's the car handling very well a little was in the front getting a lot of grip breaking through the left hander the second last Corner in this circuit and into the last Corner into the tight part of the little circuit again going back onto the Main Street can go the Main Street on the main street now breing and going into the fourth gear Corner using the on the exit we into this long right hand corter very difficult cartering along again well we're coming to the second last corner of this lap all I can see is it's very nice that they have the opportunity of getting into a Formula 1 car again I'm coming back to the pits here at porad when Jackie decided to try project 34 what did you think about it when did you drive a racing car for the last time well in 1973 on the uh occasion of the practice for the American grown pre in October after this long stop how do you feel at the wheel it feels very comfortable I must say that it feels nice to be back in a Formula 1 car did you enjoy the drive or did you find it difficult no I enjoyed the drive I didn't drive over my limit I drove well below and kept everything in control from that point of view it was very comfortable is Project 34 more less difficult to drive than a conventional car do you need a different driving techniques or different lines through the corners no I think uh project 34 with the six wheels really feels no different than a four-wheel car to steer the car it's no heavier uh to point the car is no difference generally the car feels very good and much the same as a normal Formula 1 car believe in the future of the six- wheel car I think that uh there is a place for it in gr pre racing I think that perhaps it's still a little premature to say categorically that the six wheeel car will be the car of the future but I think it has a much better chance of being successful than most people gave it when it was first introduced uh a few weeks ago in London now is it true that you will come back into racing no no no no no no no chance at all I uh I enjoyed today I I feel that I was like um a little boy at Christmas time having been given a great present the the privilege of coming back and enjoying the adventure of driving this revolutionary new car because I think it is the most revolutionary car that's come into Grand Prix racing perhaps two the last two decades so for me uh I enjoyed it I loved it but not for the future
