this family's daughter went missing when I did some digging I discovered that something even worse was going on oh there's nothing really that interesting on TV today so I don't know Dylan's got the kids I don't really have anything else planned what why did Officer goodie just knock on my door what the heck uh Hey officer goodie what what's going on hello Carrie what's happening may I uh come inside for a second of course yeah come on in uh here uh let's let's go sit in the kitchen Okay now what's happening what was everything okay so there's a missing child out somewhere and I you know uh I'd really like you to talk to the family wait what you need me to help have you what how am I supposed to help especially talking to the family yeah he has a police department need someone skilled look I don't know I don't know about this well you've helped in many investigations yeah I guess but I wouldn't necessarily say I was like a professional or anything I I don't know if I'm qualified to do this besides I wouldn't know how to talk to them they seem so heartbroken well you're at least more qualified than I am I mean I guess if there's a missing child I don't know I I guess I can try little comfortable please uh have a have a seat in here okay um I can uh definitely do that so uh why don't you try and uh you know retrace your steps maybe um so I can try to you know piece together when and how your child went missing we were just out for the day and and it's okay um you can totally take your time no rush here we stopped by the pier for ice cream and and then I think we went for pizza or or maybe it was pizza first you know maybe uh maybe we can try and and and get it in like some type of timeline order that would help a lot you know trying to retrace your steps come on Steve calm down was it even Pizza I think it might be the burger shop I I don't know huh Susie is a little um a little calm right now I kind of expected them to both be like Steve right now you know I I'm a little confused why she's not just as upset Steve come on remember just give the lady all the info she needs I can't even remember the outfit this is a whole mess a terrible day maybe it's some kind of coping mechanism oh Steve well you know that's all right it it's okay if you can't remember anything right now I know it is really stressful but you know maybe maybe if you uh can remember anything information from Steve or really Suzie but I I went you know I went anyways to the places he listed I checked pizza pl I checked the burger place I checked the pier I talked to every employee I went to the police station and checked all of the criminal records everything that has happened there's been nothing in the past few days I mean it's been completely quiet over there and none of the workers saw anything they actually were a little strange they saw all of them said they saw a very normal happy family so I don't know it just the one thing I can't let go of is how calm Susie was I mean if they were such a happy family before all of this why would she be so completely calm that entire time I was interviewing them I mean I can understand maybe if like staying calm and focus is your coping mechanism but wouldn't there be at least some type of like worry or I don't know anything she was just completely the whole time and and it honestly seemed like she was a little annoyed with her husband so I I don't know I'm I'm so confused like Steve is what I expected both of them to be acting like and normally I do just kind of trust my gut on these kind of things so I don't know okay you know I've already investigated every other clue that I have possibly had so I'm just going to try and confirm if what I'm feeling is something to be weird about I don't know I'm just going to follow my gut here for a second I'm just going to try and talk to Susie and see if maybe she's been a little different hi Steve hello have you heard anything else well no sadly I haven't but I'm still looking and the police are still looking doing everything they can I was actually wondering um is Susie around uh she isn't around at the moment sorry uh do you know when she's going to be back or daughter you know if you had to describe it is it is it good or anything do they have any issues oh it's uh very good she treated our daughter like her own ever since we welcome Susie into the house really so um Susie is is her stepmom maybe yeah she is but but she acts like her normal Mom very interesting okay um I you know Steve why don't you go ahead and uh just hang out at the police station for a little bit I'm sure officer goody would love to buy you lunch or something um I'm I'm going to look around the house a little bit if you don't mind of course uh maybe I can assist with the search some more yeah yeah sure no uh you will be definitely much better needed at the police station it'll be totally fine I'm just going to look around see if there's any patterns I can pick up from suspicious so I am pretty sure that Susie is the culprit here I know I may be jumping the gun but I mean something about her is just really throwing me off and now that I know that you know she's her stepmom I don't know just something about I just have a feeling so I'm going to keep looking around I haven't found anything yet but I am determined to see if there is anything weird or she writing look at them you pick what I'm not going to pick out your ice cream for you what I mean I will say my favorite is chocolate but that's just me I but I like all of these so I mean she could get an entire stack of all the flavors that mean it doesn't matter to me maybe birthday cake okay um I will get her some ice cream then you guys I am honestly really excited to just be able to like spend some time with her and make her day better I'm just going to say go ahead and sit down and she will get to have some ice cream I mean I think she's having a good time you guys I mean I really hope she is I'm just going to say so um why couldn't you have ice cream I mean I don't want to prry too much but I I mean I do kind of want to know like what at least the mom's reasoning was you know for like never ever letting her have ice cream oh my stepmom always said that ice cream is for good kids only I cannot believe that said she told me I'm too bad to ever have anything nice oh my gosh I'm going literally whatever you want I have all the time in the world it does not make a difference to me I just want her to like have all these experiences that she should get to have I've never been to the arcade either isn't it nearby here um I'm just going to say yeah uh it's literally I'm pretty sure it's literally next door so that if she wants to go to the arcade that is absolutely no issue because like I said it is literally next door can we maybe go there going to say of course okay um let's go she finished her ice cream you guys it is time to play some games I'm just going to say well uh what do you want to play um I mean her mood seems like it's getting a little bit better she said wow it's so cool in here I'm just going to say play anything I mean we're literally not into any rush I mean do you guys I just want to make sure that I can be there and I can be the person that like gets to take her to do all these fun things and makes her feel like she's not a bad kid because she is little more comfortable at my house or I don't know if there was anything she wanted to play with not really my stepmom threw them all away they were too nice for me what how would she throw away all anything too out of the ordinary on Pizza side over here so I am just going to start driving over towards Mountainside I mean I don't know this could be a hit or miss type of thing guys it could be like I see some like you know average builds or I find something crazy I'm really hoping that I'm finding something like a little unusual so it like I don't know gives me something to look at or something I'm seeing a couple other like big buildings and stuff wait this girl just ran out in front of my car what is happening uh her name's nah Bakers junor she just said stop stop please stop I I need your help please um I'm going to say um okay what's up I mean she literally just ran straight in front of my car I almost hit her so um clearly something is definitely going on she said please I live with my mean stepmother I had to run away I I couldn't take it anymore oh my gosh okay I mean this little girl is just like running around the streets she said please let me stay with you um I just need someplace safe okay guys she's literally begging me right now okay so you know what I'm just going to go with it you know if she needs a place to stay I can do that I'm going to say um hop in and you know I'll I'll take her back to my place and and see maybe like I don't know see if I can figure out like what's really going on here I don't know you guys that that was really abrupt she just said Thank you thank you you're a lifesaver um okay this is taking a turn all right we are pulling up to my house you guys and I'm not going to lie I'm I'm a little shook by that that was a pretty crazy um thing that just happened uh I definitely almost hit this little girl um but she seems really shaken up by everything so I'm going to say um come on in um okay okay guys I don't know I think I I want to calm her down a little bit before I start asking her a bunch of questions and stuff cuz uh I mean if what she's saying is like all true this could be uh you know pretty pretty hectic for a little kid especially like you know stepmoms are difficult sometimes you know when your dad gets remarried she said gosh what a day guys she looks really sad I'm going to say um are you hungry um I don't know guys I want to make her feel at home here I mean she did say she needed somewhere safe she said yes please I'm really hungry okay I'm going to go ahead and um make her I want to make her something quick cuz she seems you know pretty like out of it right now um I'm going to make her like some mac and cheese and just go ahead and put it in the microwave over here I mean guys I mean if I can be the person that helps this little girl out then I'm definitely going to do what I can um but also like kind of bombarding her with questions could be a little too much so I want to try and be like as like calm and nice as I can be I'm going to go ahead and sit right here she said gosh thank you lady I'm going to say um so uh what's been going on I don't want to ask like too intense questions I want her to be able to tell me what she's comfortable with she said oh gosh I'm sorry for just throwing all of this on you but my Stepmother's just the worst okay guys this is really sad um she said I had to run away which like is really intense in itself like this is just a little kid felt like she had to leave her house with no nowhere else to go um I'm just going to go ahead and say uh I'm so sorry like I I honestly I don't really know how to comfort her a whole lot she said I'm forced to live with my stepmother because my dad's away for business okay um I mean that could also be really difficult just having to like live with somebody that you haven't always known she said and she just treats me the worst she hates me and is super mean to me oh my gosh okay she clearly has some pretty strong feelings about this she said like I have a room but she forces me to sleep in the closet what the heck why would she make her sleep in a closet that is so messed up I mean like if she has her own room she said I barely eat she only gives me Crumbs guys that is so awful I mean no wonder this girl felt like she had to run away she can't even eat she said and she doesn't even let me use the bath bathroom inside the house I just hated it with where did she go to the bathroom then if she can't use the one in the house what the heck is going on she said what's the worst thing though is oh no how could that even get any worse but I don't know she said and she uses all my dad's money while he's away oh my gosh you guys this is absolutely ridiculous I mean I cannot believe that this little girl is put in that kind of situation she said I just have to watch it was really terrible okay I'm going to say I need to talk to her okay you know what I can't let this stand I need to help out this little girl she said to my stepmother yes I'm going to go um talk talk to her you know what she needs to you know have some sense put into her that this is not okay she just said oh okay wow she's really mean though so be careful she lives on mountains side um it's the biggest house there I'm going to say okay got it uh just stay here and make yourself at home because you know what guys she needs a like a good place to be this is really stressful she said okay I will thank you again so much okay she's going over to the couch you guys this is definitely not okay all right I've been looking around and guys I I think I think this one might be it it's definitely the biggest house I've seen it's step mother Renee's house okay guys this house is actually super huge so they uh they definitely must have a lot of money or something I don't really know but you know what that doesn't matter because I just need to figure out what the heck is going on here and uh you know kind of put a stop to it okay wow she definitely does not look very nice at all um okay you know what I'm just going to say I'm going to say I need to talk to you um about your stepdaughter and I don't know she said who are you what do you want okay this is no need to be rude to me you're the one who is like being awful to your stepdaughter she said my stepdaughter um yes uh clearly we need to have a conversation because she's not doing very good things and uh somebody has to stand up for her she just said g that brat I mean that girl always getting into trouble yeah come on in I guess wait is she just going to it act like she didn't just call her a brat what the heck guys I cannot believe this lady I mean she's already being mean to me she said all right come this way okay I mean guys this house is actually uh pretty insane I'm not going to lie it's it's pretty fancy she just said have a seat here okay um I'm going to say um I mean I don't know I feel like I need to be really honest with her right now and uh kind of give her a piece of my mind a little bit she said now tell me what has my stepdaughter done this time she's always causing trouble I'm going to say um actually she came to me um saying she was running away I mean what what what is she expect she the little kid just going to leave for no reason she said wait running away I'm going to say uh yeah she said she has horrible living conditions she said she has a perfect life here well clearly she doesn't um she definitely looked pretty freaked out whenever she was like asking me for help and stuff she said horrible living conditions what I'm going to say and that you don't feed her and you're super mean all the time she said what did she say exactly um that and and you know what and that you you spend all of her dad's money so um clearly there is something going on oh my gosh she said I don't I what I don't feed her well that's what she said um clearly uh she said I do what oh my gosh this little br C guys she's literally just like bashing her to my face she said she's lying she has a great living condition here I'm just going to say oh really well uh that's not what she said cuz uh she was pretty freaked out she said I take care of her or I'm assuming her if she's one of my own well um it doesn't really sound like it and you're getting pretty worked up so if she was lying I don't know why you'd be getting so worked up right now she said she's lying she's lying I treat her very nicely gosh what a little little what you going to say another mean thing I'm okay you know what I'm going to say so um do you mind if I look around I mean if uh things are so great here she won't mind if I you know walk around see things for myself I guess she said g fine I guess um okay she said actually I'll do you one better and um what exactly would that be I'm going to throw a question mark um because I I don't trust this girl she said I'll show you her room so you can see just how great she lives here okay you know what we're going to go straight to her room and see what's going on there because she did mention she had a room but that she's not allowed to stay in it so um I guess I'm going to ask her to uh lead the way she said as you can see this house is huge I mean yeah it definitely is a very nice house she said and we take care of her with all the plenty of food we have um okay well she was saying that you just she just gets the crumbs so she said this way okay um I mean I guess I guess this is her room and yeah it does actually look pretty nice um okay okay there's like a pretty nice little bathroom over here but apparently she doesn't get to use that either I'm just going to say h because uh she said this is her room okay I guess she's got like a little balcony here she said looks great right I'm going to say uh yeah let me look because I don't trust her I'm not just going to take her word for it look around over here um she said hey hey what uh stay away from that door um this one I I mean clearly she's talking about this like little closet door right here she said yeah we're um redoing it um and say so uh you won't mind if I look she said it's just not safe yet well you know I I'm an adult I think I can I think I can look in here and you know what she said wait what no don't open it well I am and guys guys there there's another door right here and I'm just going to I'm just going to go for it and oh my gosh she said see it's just a closet well clearly it's not she said oh gosh guys is this where this little girl has been forced to sleep this is totally messed up guys I can't believe this she was literally lying right to my face I'm going to say so I was right she said look I can explain it oh really you can explain it I I think I I would really like some explanation she said it was just temporary I'm going to say stop lying right right now she's just making stuff up she said until we had to clean the rest of her room well looks pretty clean to me and I mean now that I mention it you guys I she said that she has this bathroom over here but she can't use it so I'm not really sure wait is that a porta potty in the back yard is that where she has to go to the bathroom oh my gosh I'm going to ask I'm going to say is that bathroom in the yard for her her cuz that is absolutely messed up she said um um I mean oh my gosh okay I'm going to say you know what I'm leaving she said she just likes it that way well clearly she doesn't she said wait please what literally what could she possibly be asking from me now she said I need her back please wait I'm going to say you need her what the heck does that mean clearly you're just mistreating her and like she can't do anything she said I mean yeah like um I need her she's my stepdaughter I'm going to say no why do you really need her because clearly that is just a lie she said I need her back of course she said oh gosh you're so annoying listen okay you know what maybe we'll finally get a little bit of Truth she said if my man comes back and the kid's not here okay um I'll get kicked out oh well yeah you probably will she she said and I'll be forced to be poor again I can't do that so please I'm going to say you know what no I'm leaving she said bring me that kid back I said I will take care of her because I'm not bringing her back to this she said wait please until I'm literally going to say like I will take care of her until until your man comes back because um we are definitely not messing with any of that I'm not going to force this little girl to come back into this living situation because that is just not okay okay I hope this little girl has been able to manage while I was gone but you know what I I'm going to I'm taking it upon myself to take care of her for a little bit she clearly grabbed some food for herself I'm going to say um hey hey nah um I talked to your stepmom and um I don't know I mean hopefully she's happy about this she just said oh I'm going to say you can stay here with me until your dad comes back because as she said is everything okay I'm going to say uh yes yes everything is fine I definitely don't want her to be freaked out she said wait really oh my gosh that's amazing thank you so so much I'm going to say um so just uh make yourself at home and I mean I mean it shouldn't be that long before he comes back or anything I mean I feel like this is you know probably a good situation she said great do you mind if I go upstairs and sleep I'm very tired I'm going to say uh sure um sleep wherever you like I mean I I'm not super picky so I'm just going to go ahead let her go upstairs and uh you know let her relax a little bit she said thank you and guys I I I think this was a pretty good thing
