Although Windows 11 is not a perfect alternative to changing operating systems, it is still an option for you to install on your PC. In a video on my channel, I talked about four reasons why Windows 11 is not a profitable option, either due to its stability or its change in interface in most aspects. But in case you want to try it, do you know how to correctly install the Windows operating system? In this video I show you how you can do a proper installation of Windows 11 without having to worry about the requirements of your PC or unusual configurations. Welcome to the ccompomix channel and without further direction, we begin. Before starting, it is important to make sure that your PC meets the necessary requirements for Windows 11. Forget this. It's no use, and why am I telling you this? Basically, because it has been shown that Windows 11 is capable of running on computers that had up to 1 GB of RAM and 2015 generation processors. But don't start doing those types of experiments either, have at least a minimum of memory. The only thing you will need is: A Windows 11 ISO. The "rufus" program and a USB flash drive with less than 16 GB of storage. If you are a computer scientist, there is the option of being able to directly install Windows 11 on the hard drive itself, but I will show you how to do this another time. For the USB memory, it is essential to make a backup copy of all the data you have stored, since when copying the Windows 11 installation files, the unit will be formatted, eliminating all the data included inside. After making the backup to a USB drive, the next step is to download the Windows 11 image from the official Microsoft website . Download the Create Installation Media app, check the ISO image option and select where you want it to be saved. On the other hand, we download the rufus program where we are going to mount the Windows 11 drive on the USB. To do this, go to the official page and download it according to your device. If you are going to carry out the process on a PC less than 4 GB, select the 32- bit version, otherwise, the 64-bit version. Once the Windows 11 image has been downloaded and rufus is installed, what we are going to do is create a media installation, for this we are going to select drive X in my case and select the Windows 11 image in the image options we leave it as standard. The 'Windows to go' option is for a direct installation, but I will show you that in another video. In the partition scheme, mark it as 'mbr' since we will do the installation with the standard partitioning format. In the advanced properties, you will see the option to 'add corrections for old bios'; mark this option only if your bios is not very up to date. For example, if you use a bios from 2014 back. In the file system option , leave 'ntfs' checked and the cluster size set to '4096 bytes'. Finally, make sure you have the 'quick format' option checked (the other two options are optional) and click on the start button. Now a box will appear where you can customize various installation parameters. In another video on my channel, I show you a way to eliminate the security requirements check [TPM] at installation time. In this case, rufus allows us to automatically disable that verification and also provides you with more options such as deleting online account registration, automatically creating a user, setting the installation region, disabling data collection and disabling automatic bitlocker encryption. For greater security, I would advise you to leave all these options unchecked, but since this is a basic installation that can be expanded to any PC, leave the options checked to eliminate the requirement of more than 4 Gb of ram, secure boot and TPM 2.0, delete online account registration Optional, disable data collection and disable automatic bitlocker encryption. Once these options have been marked, click OK and you will get a warning. your drive will be formatted. Click on next and now the file dump process will begin . This process is somewhat slow but stay calm, keep in mind that with the options we have marked, it may take longer than normal. Once the process is completed, we are going to take the USB drive and install it on the computer where we are going to do the installation. Boot your PC from the USB that we have created and depending on the model of your PC, the start selection button is different, however, from the bios you can change the boot sequence of your computer. Okay, once booted from the USB, the Windows 11 installation process will begin, okay, then when you are here on the main screen just see here 'select the language' okay in my case, well I'm going to do it in Spanish okay let's give to install. Okay, this will load now the issue of the key appears, if you have a key, you can enter it but I advise you that at least you don't start by adding what the product key is: check the option of I don't have a product key and then Well, when you already have everything installed, you activate the product key, more than anything because this is better when it comes to doing it when it is already installed because in some way in the updates they apply all the license changes. Ok in this case we are going to say no. We select the normal version and I installed the pro okay, you can choose between several but I am going to choose the pro in this case and now we accept the license terms. and here you have two options: Install Windows and keep files and simply install only Windows. I don't recommend the first one. Because if it is a clean installation, I don't advise you to do it, more than anything because it will simply take what the disk already has and Somehow it will reinstall it, but of course, in this case since we don't have anything, what we are going to do is only mark the Windows installation. And now we come to what the units are and for a correct installation we select the unit and click again. It will assign what is a standard format according to the disk, the size of the hard disk, you click on apply, you click again to accept okay. And two partitions will be created. This is where the fix is in the installation. The first is, let's say, for the system, for Windows recovery itself. And, the second is where the partition table is applied, let's say here in this partition it takes information about how the units are distributed in Windows. We will base ourselves on the one that has the most capacity, in this case it is the main one, what we are going to do is select the main partition and mark the next option. Once clicked next, the file copying process will begin. and this will take a while, it usually takes a while depending on the type of hard drive you have. Depending on the storage you have, it will take more or less, but when it is finished, a countdown will begin to restart. After installation, the Windows 11 configuration process begins. This step varies between the options configured during the assembly of the unit, because this is already configured to be skipped in the pre-installation. Ok right now it is checking for updates, this especially if you have an internet connection it will do ok. Almost everything is already configured, taking into account that neither the data collection nor the automatic Bitloker encryption that it will ask us for has passed. The name of the team here you put a test one and I'm going to put compo test itself to test. Keep in mind that you this is free decision you can even skip the step, this is what we are going to do. In this case, if you omit it, Windows will set you one by default. Now for the type of configuration, I advise you to set it for personal use because for professional educational use, what it does is activate some features. If this is perhaps intended for a company or an organization, you can mark it but in general, mark the option for personal use. Finally, make sure that the drivers are updated and Windows update begins downloading the authorizations, to ensure optimal performance.
