My lords. I'm the Red King and you normally find me speculating on the incredible lore
that Stellaris has to offer. But today I'm collaborating with paradox Interactive so that I can tell you all about Stellaris The Machine Age. We're going to cover the two crisis
level threats that come with machine age. One is driven by you, the player and the other is a returning ancient threat. We shall start with the player
driven crisis. Cosmo Genesis empires wishing to go down this route can selec Cosmic Genesis as a fourth Ascension perk. Unlike Galactic Nemesis this crisis path is not locked behind ethics. Any Empire can choose to take it and selecting it begins a journey on the road
to unlimited knowledge. You will seek out the secrets
of the fallen empires, and attempt to reach the power levels
that they had in their prime. You will have a crisis path
to work through. Advance logic is your currency and completing specific tasks
with more advanced logic and push you further along the path
towards unlimited knowledge. Some key perks
to look out for along the way are: Rank two will unlock the ability
to build fallen Empire, escort class vessels and basic buildings. Rank three will unlock Fallen Empire
battlecruisers and advanced buildings, and rank four
will unlock the Mighty Fallen Empire Titan and Special Components
such as Dragon Scale armor. The Synaptic Clave is a ship specific
to the Cosmic Genesis Crisis path. It will help you progress along
the Crisis Tree. It is a mega structure
and essentially a giant flying computer powered by networked minds. You can secure new minds
however you see fit, but do be aware some species may view the transmutation of individuals into computing parts
as morally questionable. Eventually, if everything is going well you’ll unlock the plans to build another ship unique to Cosmo Genesis. The horizon Needle. The horizon needle is not a warship but an arc vessel designed to transport your civilization
to the safety of another galaxy. One more fit for your purpose. The only caveat is that
it's on the other side of a black hole, and the rest of the galaxy is quite cross. As you'll leave your current galaxy
in quite a mess when you leave, there are several different endings
depending on the choices that you've made. I won't spoil them here but as a famous doctor Ian Malcom once said your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could they did not stop to think if they should. Next, we move on to the greatest threat to galactic peace since the prekey the synthetic queen. My children at last I am returned to you. The synthetic Queen is a brand new end
game crisi added with the machine age around your preset endgame date. You may notice a storm of sorts appearing across a cluster of star systems
somewhere in the galaxy. If you have sufficient sensors, you'll see a significant force
occupying the cluster, but you will initially be unable
to communicate with it, but you will soon get its attention. Soon after, you'll be contacted by a
being calling itself Cetana She, or rather it appears to be a machine and she simply states my children. At last I am returned to you. You can attempt to press her
for more information, and she will explain
that she wants for nothing. Her purpose is to give. She states
that you have suffered in her absence, and that the cycle of
pain will soon be at an end. She finishes the conversation by telling you
to stay outside of her empire's domains. She is working on
something that cannot be disturbed. Her work is steeped in mystery,
and a situation will fire, called Cetana, the synthetic queen. This situation will give you choices on
how to approach this new potential threat. A special project will become available
called the Mysterious Tempest, which will help you further understand
her goals. As Cetana continues her great work. She will have various tasks for you. You as the player have the choice
for how you deal with these requests. Will you submit to her rule or will you
choose to leave the galaxy in defiance? What excites
you most about the Machine Age DLC? The new origins? the advanced synthetic and cybernetic Ascensions? the new dynamic portraits? Or is it the new crisis paths? Please let me know in the comments,
and please don't forget to subscribe if you enjoyed the video. I've been the Red King
and I hope you enjoy exploring the wonders of Stellaris, the machine Age.
