water blue North Jersey van life what up y'all uh had an idea and I wanted to show you I'm not doing the electric today because I had to do some reworking on my system and some upgrades with a higher gauge wire so uh I haven't been able to get that done yet so I'm just strictly using solar right now um the other system I have is uh with my isolator and a 1 000 watt inverter that I have set to pretty much automatic when it's night time it kicks in automatically when it's daytime it doesn't run but the point is I don't have to do any you know jumping around or you know changing things it just is automatic so I'm running a little bit more off of the 1000 watt inverter and uh started having some some burning smell um so I realized that the gauge wire was too small so I'm gonna have to probably go to zero gauge uh or one I'm sure I have one of those but anyway um yeah so when I get around to do that I went over to Walmart they had the wire however it came in a whole setup of uh a stereo setup so no thank you all right anyway so very sunny out and uh just as an idea I wanted to share with you all something I kind of came up with so on your barn doors this is for van vanners if you will uh so your barn doors on the sides you see that I have the uh bungee connected to that side just just connected that keeps the door from even in the wind uh blowing and keeping it stable now this other door here I have another bungee to that going to that antenna up there so that's holding that and I'm using a black moving top right so with the black moving top I have four of the binder clips those are really awesome because you never know what you can do with those so anyway one here one here on the top of that door and now on the underside I have one here and one here and I have it pulled you know kind of uh kind of tight and uh so it's got some firmness and rigidity to it and uh so hey just those simple things you don't need a uh a sun awning you know you got your own with something just as simple as uh you know a dollar store moving blanket uh you can use whatever you have so the point is this is just uh just an idea I wanted to share with you all I went and got my uh my little e scooter so I zip around with that you know when I don't want to burn gas and uh you know and I also have my jacket recharging uh that's a part of some new things I set up with the system I don't normally use the jackery um honestly I had a bad experience with the same model jackery 1000 and apparently the first run of those devices had a glitch where uh they would stop charging they would discharge perfect but there was no way to charge them back up so I did have an extended warranty and jackery did graciously honor that without any issues yet but the funny thing is I never used the first jackery that much I might take it out when I want to cut my hair or you know right now I'm outside of my gym I'm just hanging out right now kind of waiting for the sun to get a little bit lower um so I'm just going to enjoy some of this vitamin D and I'm a little clammy so I don't want to cut my hair I normally just cut my hair bald but uh I have to wait until it's a little bit cooler and that when I'm not sweating I don't I don't want to uh just have like a messy uh a messy shave so anyway that's that so anyway yeah this is just uh just an idea I felt like I wanted to share with you all I mean it's pretty cool I mean the moment that I stepped into those doors and so imagine here I'm just sitting you know right there whatever oh that rug I just got a new rug I got a bunch of rugs I got a bunch of layers on this floor but uh having rugs it's so much easier to clean the floor where okay you know it's great to sweep you know when you just have a little something but if you're getting in and out of the van and say you're going fishing or doing something outdoorsy instead of bringing all of that in sometimes you can't get it all off your shoes regardless of what you do and uh when you trap when when you track things in you just simply take out the take out the rug shake it out put it back and you know you're in like Flynn so yeah that's that I just wanted to share that uh this little uh little hookup with you and uh Works quite well I mean not for nothing the moment I step inside you could see that I'm sure the camera uh I'll give you the the inside look so I mean come on see there so I'm in here I got my own sun shade uh and I just created an awning with a hot heavy duty binder clips you know get those at any office or Staples if you can't find and uh there you go you know so be able to help yourself stay a little bit cooler in the in the summertime all right over and out thank you everyone uh special event lifers and uh you know people living on four wheels or maybe even more travel safe keep your eyes on the road and it went to your back peace water blue North Jersey
