Two big thumbs up to C-Bass, Neopork and everyone else who contributed to the video. It is one of the best Starship animations I have ever seen!
Really fantastic animation. Well done!
My only little note/question is that I though the sea level raptors, or at some of them, would light for the second stage burn to provide gimbal control?
I'm just a tiny bit too young (just turned 50) to have any memory of the Apollo landings. I can't believe that after all these years of no hope for the space program, were this close to equaling and exceeding Apollo in my lifetime.
when super heavy lights all its engines irl for the first time im gonna cum
Absolutely amazing job! Really great cinematography and renders.
Just a few minor nits. The pad and area was full of stuff before liftoff. It looked like there were pipes and beams right next to the launch mount. There were also a lot of cars in the parking lot. I'd imagine all that stuff would be cleared away before launch.
The lights on the night side looked like volcanic eruptions and not city lights. They should be sharper and not so uniformly spread out.
Again, awesome job. This makes me very excited to see the actual launch.
Only critiques are
Vacuum RCS thrusters (look for crew dragon/falcon 9 as examples)
Re-entry heating and plasma (got spoiled by the last one)
Otherwise it has been perfect
Great render! Hopefully we will be able to compare it to the actual flight later this year.
Jesus, this surpasses even the official ones. Amazing.
The moment Super Heavy lights all engines for the first time...It will most likely be the most amazing thing I've ever seen in my life
