SFSE || MO2 & Vortex || Starfield Script Extender

a mod 4 mods the Starfield script extender allows mod authors to go beyond the game's limitations and in return it allows us to utilize their Creations today we install it and verify that it works welcome to gamer poets and to modding my way requirements if you just installed your game make sure to have launched it at least one time otherwise it won't be registered on your computer and sfse won't detect it if a new version of sfse has been released you may need to make sure that your game is up to date for it to work the mod page shows what game version sfse requires to see what game version you have open the game folder the default location is on my address bar inside the folder locate and right-click the game's executable properties details product version side note sfse doesn't support Windows store releases of Starfield that means game pass users won't be able to install a script extender neither will console users installation open the script extender page manually download the main file open the archive that is downloaded open the sfse folder in the second window open the game folder drag and drop everything inside if you aren't using a mod manager from now on launch the game from this executable if you are using one mod organizer 2 users if you use mo2 open it sfsc should be Auto detected if it's not open modify executables next to executables click the plus symbol add from file open the game folder double-click the sfse 64 loader executable if you want to change the title you can reply OK from now on launch the game from the Run drop down menu Vortex users if you use Vortex dashboard you're done sfse is auto detected if it isn't add tool new name it icon to the right of Target game folder double-click the sfse 64 loader save from now on launch the game from here verifying that sfse works at the game menu push the Tilt key to open the console different language keyboards may require a different key press I've listed a number of those in the pin comment thanks to those of you who commented on the star field console command video with the console open type the following get sfse version push enter if any version it all is returned the script extender is working if not recheck your steps the script extender has stopped working game updates update the game's executable when this happens sfsc May temporarily break and so many mods that rely on them you need to wait until the script extender is updated for things to work again this video will be updated once the sfsc silver lock page provides an archive for us to download and if there are any future updates thanks for spending some time with me you've got this thank you [Music] foreign
