Star Wars: Inside the X-Wing

Hello this is Halfscreen and in this episode  I would like to talk briefly about the   T65B X-Wing was named for the shape made  when its X-foil wings are intact position.   The X-wing was a class of starfighter used by the  Rebel Alliance in the conflict with the galactic   empire, it made its first appearance in star wars  episode 4 and new hope as the T-65B model   The X-Wing starfighter was all-purpose  starfighter of the Rebel Alliance   and was known for its versatility  and exceptional combat performance.   It possessed deflector shields and R2 astromech  for repair and navigation and a proton torpedo   compared to the Tie Fighter the X-Wing is said  to be slower and less maneuverable in space   but has a superior firepower defense a  fast hyperdrive and four laser cannons.   The X-Wing quickly became a symbol of the  rebellion thanks to its use in several   victories and the role it plays in ultimately defeating the empire.
