whatever version of chicken anyone says in the chat um whatever form of cooking it that you say in the chat is not as good as a butter basted steak with potatoes on the side with like mashed potatoes with butter and garlic on the side whatever form you say not as good i don't care unless you're like what's butter based at steak oh my god let me hit you with it all right um i like to reverse sear my like if i get a really thick steak i like to reverse sear it it means you put it in a low oven at first for uh just a little while just to cook the inside a little bit because it's really thick so you're gonna burn the outside before you manage to cook the inside in a hot skillet then get your uh get your cast iron really really hot slap that steak down in on one side after a lot of salt and pepper on the sides um a little bit of oil boom in a really hot skin skillet sear one side of it flip it turn down the heat on a little bit a ton of butter in the pan some thyme in the pan some rosemary in the pan some garlic in the pan let it sear in that a little bit then you take you tilt the uh pan up so all that butter with all those seasonings go toward the bottom where you've tilted the pan up you take a big spoon you get the butter mixture off the bottom and you start basting the steak in it letting that butter and all those and all that flavor run over the steak and just keep doing that until it's cooked to your uh ideal temperature on the inside oh let me tell you let me [ __ ] tell you i think the only way that that gets better with chicken is it if it's just covered in cheese no no the only way chicken is better is when you leave that [ __ ] in some buttermilk for a while and then you uh you know you slap that uh in some deep fry oil hmm get that fried up some pickles make a nice sauce to go on top of it put it in a sandwich we haven't made homemade pickles in a while yep we should do that all right how mad would you be if i just took these parsnips with me ah you do whatever you want yes all right you going back to the mines yup oh there's enough for you to make a furnace though if you don't mind do that today okay don't do it i mean you don't do it now
