Stalker Gamma Weapon/Armor Repair System Guide

hello today we're going to be talking about the repair and armor system in stock or gamma the first thing you're going to want to do when you find a new weapon or armor that you want to use is check details here you can find what the parts conditions are as well as the repair kit necessary to repair that weapon now to repair the weapon there are three methods you can use i have here a bolt carrier for the weapon but its condition is slightly damaged so i'm going to repair it using a file now that the weapon's conditioned part now that the web and parts condition is higher i will replace it by dragging it and dropping it onto the weapon however this method only works for parts that aren't destroyed and parts that aren't the barrel of the gun barrels cannot be replaced in the field you instead need to find yourself a tool kit to do this doing so you can go to the work bench replace the barrel and click repair as long as you have the required tool kit now the other thing to note is i don't have a bolt for this gun but i do have a repair kit repair kits can be used to replace parts despite not having them to do that simply go to maintain parts and replace the parts you want now this consumes charges on the repair kit whereas replacing parts with parts you already own does not if you have a dirty part still you can repair that by cleaning it using cleaning kits by simply going to maintain parts and clean be careful however if you have a repair kit but don't have the cleaning kit it can use the repair kit instead to clean that part this will waste charges on your repair kit now that the part weapons condition is above 40 i can actually use some gun spray to repair the weapon and clean it cleaning it up to full condition now another important thing of note is for armor repairs you can't repair it by dragging and dropping instead what you need to do is have the tool kit and the repair kit so you can use the workbench to replace the parts inside of it now an important thing to note is the parts that it you use to replace it can be repaired if they're above 50 this one is below 50 but this one is over it they both use the same repair kit but only this one is actually available to be repaired now i can go to the armor and replace it this does not consume tool kit uses and the armor is now at 75 and i can repair it using this advanced sewing kit along with some other parts now another thing to note is you can have technicians clean your weapons this does not repair the parts in the weapon merely it cleans them they cannot fix armor however hopefully this guide helps you figure out exactly what you need to do to repair and re fix all the weapons you want to use in stock or gamma
