the Third Secret of fátima sister Lucy struggles to tell the world they began in 1943 sister Lucy was in the Dorothy and sister convent in Spain sister Lucy suddenly became very ill in June of 1943 this worried the Bishop of Lyra that he became worried that she might die so he wanted to see sister Lucy to ask her to write down the third secret if she wanted to he went on September 15 1943 on the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows day as sister Lucy sister Lucy did not think this request was enough it had to be formal in writing and to order her to write it the Bishop of larrya made up his mind to write the third order for sister Lucy to write the Third Secret of fátima in mid-october of 1943 when sister Lucy got the order from the bishop to write the Third Secret of fátima she encountered utter difficulty sister Lucy experienced terrible anguish every time she sat down to write the Third Secret of fátima this happened for three months sister Lucy told the bishop of the area that she could not obey the order as every time she tried to write it the anguish became more unbearable sister Lucy was obviously being attacked by Satan who was aware of the importance of the Third Secret of fátima and the effect it would have in all the world our Lady appeared on January 9th a lady confirmed a sister Lucy that it was God's will that the secret of Fatima the third secret be written down my lady told sister Lucy that she would give her the strength to do it On January 9 sister Lucy stated I wrote it down what you asked me to guy wanted to test me a little but in the end it was his will that I do so the text is sealed in an envelope the Third Secret of fátima was handed to the Most Reverend Ferreria bish Archbishop of Gaza on June 17 1944 then the archbishop handed it to the Bishop of larrya the Bishop of Lyra made it clear that the Third Secret of fátima must be read by 1960 or upon sister Lucy's death whichever comes first you
