How do those engines not throw a rod with all that RPM?
One of these start carts is on exhibit at the Virginia Aviation Museum in Richmond.

Wow, I have never heard these; thanks.
Another note for those who like to know: the "grease" in the engines (silicone-based, apparently) was solid at room temperature, and had to be heated to some 200C iirc before the engines could be turned!
