SpongeBob Errors Nickelodeon Disgracefully Missed

spongebob is one of the best animated comedies of all time and there's no denying that but when most people think of this show and its catalog of classic episodes the first three seasons are usually what comes to mind the first three seasons of this show are undoubtedly perfect but the later seasons are usually criticized for lacking that classic spongebob charm i mean don't get me wrong there are still very good episodes present within spongebob's later seasons even if they don't appear as often however regardless of whether these seasons are good or not they still will be chalked full of mistakes either way so without further ado let's look at some spongebob mistakes from seasons 10 11 and 12. [Music] the season 10 episode titled life insurance shows spongebob and patrick purchasing life insurance now spongebob and patrick are a little confused about what life insurance even means and they believe that purging life insurance means that nothing can physically hurt them spongebob and patrick spend the episode trying to hurt each other in order to test out their life insurance the mistake that is present within this episode occurs during the very first shot of the episode the episode begins with a shot of spongebob's classic pineapple house but you know there's anything strange about it well the house is missing a window another mistake occurs later on in the episode when mr krabs signs a life insurance contract as you can see the contract that spongebob is holding is the contract mr krabs signed but if you look closely at the contract when somebody's flailing his arms around you see that spongebob's signature is present instead of mr krabs [Music] [Applause] preferably the ladder do or die well come down you're not invincible life insurance is not what you think you were right oh it was just dumb luck in the season 10 episode plankton retires there's a mistake that occurs before the credits have even begun now this is a subtle mistake that only a few people would have noticed but in the title credits bob jack has missed credit as a timing director however bob jack is not the timing director of this episode he's actually the animation director another mystic occurs during this scene when plankton is having a breakdown as you can see in this shot plankton's wife karen isn't attached to anything however a few shots later you see that karen is attached to a power outlet [Music] i fly through the air he flies through the air i hide in the stomach he hides in the stomach oh i think someone needs their baba there isn't that better no karen that's just not gonna work anymore [Music] don't you see we're done here this mistake is a rather interesting one because not just another mistake present within the title credits it's another mistake to do with bob jack in the title credit for the episode old man patrick bob jack is actually credited perfectly however it's in the french version of the episode where the mistake actually occurs in the french version of the season 11 episode bob jack's name is spelled incorrectly it's supposed to be spelled with just a queue but for some reason they added a c you can't help but feel just a little bit sorry for bob jack spongebob has been in boating school for about 20 years now so you could say that he was pretty excited to see mr krabs and plankton accompanying him in this episode teachers pests however mr krabs and plankton end up causing more trouble for mrs puff than spongebob does in one scene mr krabs and plankton give mrs puffs an apple and a grapefruit which you can see on her desk but mr krabs and plank can get a bit too carried away with offering fruit to mrs puff and even go as far as plant an apple tree in her mouth during this bit you can see the squashed apple and grapefruit have completely disappeared i just thought you could use a little snack winkity blink why thank you you get a star oh is someone hungry did uh a grapefruit and a star for you how about some melon all right boys enough with the fruit [Music] [Applause] [Music] ah i'm crew wasting time here straight from the source [Music] [Music] in the first scene of the season 12 episode in security guards squidward is presenting his painting to an art critic it all seems to be going well for squidward until the art critic says this painting is bad squidward then gets kicked out for insulting the art critic afterwards during this scene there's a very subtle mistake that you may not notice at first if you look closely at the art critic you can see that his eyes disappear for a split second well what do you think do you love it mr tentacles i simply cannot express my true feelings about your work yes i realize my artistic brilliance can be overwhelming quite frankly it stinks yes i know what now see here maybe this museum is too low brow for this masterpage how dare you go [Music] in the episode spongebob's place spongebob starts his own restaurant in his house during a scene where spongebob's preparing crabby patties for customers he opens up a can of krabby patty meat and chops them into paddy sizes but do you notice anything weird about the way spongebob's cutting up the patties well as you can see the patties have been cut horizontally but when spongebob actually cuts the paddies he's cutting vertically which doesn't really make much sense the patties shouldn't be the shape they are spongebob is cutting vertically [Music] what's that squidward 30 grabby bodies coming right up [Music] the season 11 episode bunny hunt focuses on spongebob taking care of a sea bunny that was ruining squidward's crops squidward tried to get rid of the sea money in many different ways but ultimately failed and called animal control however spongebob wanted to take the sea bunny for himself dudes bonjour's naive nature he had no idea how much trouble the sea money would cause for him a few moments later the sea bunny completely destroys the interior of spongebob's home starts crawling through the wallpaper and patrick goes after the c-money and also crawls through the wallpaper but the mistake occurs when patrick comes out of the wallpaper if you look at this shot very closely you can see that patrick is completely [Music] blue the last mistake on this list comes from the episode titled sports in this episode spongebob and patrick found a box of sports equipment and an attempt to use his equipment ruined emil's critter prepared for himself spongebob and patrick don't know how to use this equipment so scooter incorrectly teaches them that spongebob patrick accidentally hurt themselves sandy however isn't fond of this so she challenges glitter to a game of basketball during this game there's a shot of the audience nothing seems to be out of the ordinary until you look at who is in the audience if you look close enough you can see multiple duplicates of certain fish another mistake occurs earlier on in the episode when sandy offers squidward a game of basketball as you can see in this shot sandy's eyelashes are completely missing let the games resume oh i don't think so y'all want to see a game fine squidward i challenge you to a game a game of basketball winner decides the fate of spongebob and patrick me play sports no no i'm mostly in an advisory position hey squidward one more thing we're playing san antonio rules santa wadio rolls [Music] [Applause] oh that was a foul tell it to your mama squidward mama don't want to hear it
