alright so today's objective I'm gonna be splicing this wire coming here from my upstairs this wire here that I have ran over to my TV I just moved it on top of the fireplace so I'm gonna have to cut this wire here now before I cut it we're just gonna verify no power this one's live this one is not so this one is good to go for the cop all right so we gotta cut it so these staples here are in the way always make sure your breakers off and you don't have power because I could have pinched it right there and think of the spark that could have went flying like this move it so when I'm doing this a staple also be careful the window don't punch the window so we got that it looks like I may have damaged a little there let's put these tools right here from this wire let's move up out of the way this wire we're gonna bring down I'm gonna fit my 1,900 bucks right into here so this way I could minimize the wire lost screwdriver bevel 3/4 need a half-inch fittings more they didn't do that great of a job breaking this let's go to the floor [Music] okay first one gonna come there and then the other one it's gonna come from this side on the bottom yeah okay the last one's gonna come across into the side I'm gonna go towards the bottom it's easier to enter this I mean he is you literally out okay now we need three connectors each one's gonna bring a wire in that's this one if you do it after everything's in place it's a lot harder make it easier on yourself get everything ready and then go up and work [Applause] second one facing all the screws to the front I think I'm going to cut right where it looks like it's bent the drill here screws get everything ready so this is gonna be my wire this wire comes over just double-check always verify before I cut it move it up and down in case you're just not picking up but it only picks up the hot wire okay gotta be able to pull splice off should be able to get a splice off of this right we are cut find a soft spot well you want to get between the wires this way you don't do too much damage especially when you don't have a lot of play with what you're doing Oh awesome a lot of punching cinderblock I'm gonna need more little blood part of the job let me grab the ground it's always easier seen here [Music] let's get this guy into this box let's involve him into this party so he's gonna come over he's ran across through holes he's gonna come over down you're gonna make a curve a nice comfortable curve and then I'll figure out I'll cut him over here give me some slack just like the others either started with a knife or splice the outer shield and then grab the inside wires and start splitting but once you get it opens like two wires are really needed as you grab one other tools to hold let's be careful not to punch things the black wire thought something missing now sometimes you may have luck with this rope here usually no sometimes yeah okay so come in good so I got I changed the box I didn't like that deeper box I swapped it with a smaller box it's a little more shallow you got other way the window more it's got the stand through two corners for a faceplate which will still be a pain in the butt to get into because of this I'll see what I have to do but I was able to because of this give myself enough play to get everything together for a splice spring a lesson back into this box tighten up place these so the black and red are both hot like I said I ran cold x wire even though it's quad shielded I decided that I was gonna do this as a form of protection probably at the V rinse on my cable wire but then I found out I was able to put the wire into a box and anywhere I wanted to mount it so I didn't have to stay with the power wire because the new Altice has remotes that don't have to be pointed they can just send a signal all right so now we got four so let's drop that down never use one so let's see how the stranded goes in I could see over here just pushes in hopefully it's got a good connection let's see if I could get this in without cutting yes and nothing is exposed all right now I'm gonna come in here and we're gonna bring come behind it make it easier for the connections that's in oh oh I should have connected this first I'll get it in I'm not worried because I could pull anything off like the right tool man needlenose pliers here we go man we got a he cut piece of that and alright that's a solid connection right there not sure though how to check it for power I'll figure out how to get in there my meter I made a little too tight whatever I could always length and stuff but we're hit it would append this thing now the neutrals same thing but less wires yellow can I get a wire net on this stuff Browns that's gonna be tight let's see Oh gotta catch there we go wait cool now the ground box everything's squished in the corner if I really wanted to I don't put little splices here bring this wire anymore but for now screw alright so now we just got it fasten this just got to get a cover well I'm gonna return with a cover until next time I'm out
