Spending the day with Sayori | Doki Doki Vigilante Chapter 1 DEMO - Part 1

option ok there all the time hey guys what is up zero here and welcome the Doki Doki vigilante chapter 1 demo so this is quite the interesting thing I know so originally with this is our mod of course that we've been talking about even following our community posts and such that I've been making on the YouTube channel or we just followed my ready I guess we were working on a mod and this is the demo of chapter one that we released recently and like I said before I was going to play through it for the people who can't play through mods and rely on me to play them for them for that and for maybe there's some special developer commentary you know who knows maybe I can tell you some stuff that really bugged me while I was doing a certain thing or maybe something funny I don't know yeah this is the chapter 1 demo so there's only three days so far that we thought I have coded in so yeah let us proceed shall we [Music] that is still satisfying I mostly I mostly give credits for the like the persona for read for menu music for making that so satisfying without it it wouldn't be a satisfying I slowly and groggily open my eyes saina shining brightly through the window on this fresh Sunday morning my bones are still aching a bit from yesterday though really glad I don't have a lot of stuff all this move would be a bigger pain and it already is badly can't stand dead forever I get out of my bed and stretch getting ready to start my day enough to take a quick shower and make myself look presentable I head downstairs she'll and I was moving back down here an old childhood friend died or II was quick to make plans for us to hang out and in mind especially since I was most likely going to spend the entire day playing video games if she didn't take my phone on my pocket to see who it is well speak of the devil hey zero he'll wait you very nice still be asleep I should probably text her back to put her at ease I'm awake don't worry oh that's surprising huh what's that supposed to mean nothing whatever you ready yep and that's like waiting for you slowpoke Wow she's already outside miss really be excited for today okay I'll be right out after sending the text put my phone back in not talking well time to see my best friend for the first time in five years I generally open the door and walk outside you know I had to talk about how I had to gently open the door I DLC model I someone gently opens a door I walk down the sidewalk they lead to my house to the road and then greeted by a familiar looking girl with a big red bow in her coral pink hair zero it's so chuckling Lissa and Russell her hair a bit it's good to see you again soon as they re a beaming snog rows back and say or his face gives me a big hug hugs are always so warm it's nice to know that hasn't changed after a few minutes we released each other and started walking down the road so what do you plan on doing today wait I was supposed to make the plans for today well yeah it was your her skin watching the butterflies and birds fly up high into the sky kids aren't around the field it makes me realize the stuff gorgeous this place has always been that's good to be back have you been sorry happy really good not the stuff happened while you were gone it made a lot of friends and I joined the club at school wow that's really cool it's nice to know you've made some new friends yeah he's a bit really fun with them around and now that you're here they could be your friends too now we can all hang out together that's a possibility he didn't say or his friends huh I could be literature club wasn't something I was expecting to hear from her and it definitely wasn't something I was expecting say or e to be involved with either I suppose everyone changes in some ways literature huh sorry so gosh was that sorry sorry this sorry sorry I'm not really interested in that type of stuff oh please it's not as boring as you think look Richard just isn't something I'm really interested in all right okay there looks away totally upset of my decision don't think I'm not gonna try and change your mind later well that was a 180 yeah I figured she wasn't going to stay upset for long she's using the fact that I refuse does I refuse does motivation to try and get me to join it's difficult her to bug me about things she really wants me to do oh I pretty much expected us out of her good luck with that but small smirk on my face just long enough for her to notice she Keigo's playfully on my time so every springs up from the bench as lovely as ever and grabs onto my arm come on let's go for a walk more walking didn't we just sit down say alright you know I'm not cut out for this stuff please there's a new candy shop in town I want to show you a candy shop are you sure you've grown up hey you being mean again hi kiddo at her childish behavior and stand up let's go and get you a treat then mm-hmm those words in my mouth her eyes light up yeah let's go sorry it pulls my arm and drags me down the road but towards town if she keeps this up I'm gonna need a new arm yeah let me talk about what this first day is so yeah this first day he doesn't go to the club cuz this was something we work I wanted to kind of do differently and I guess I guess we kind of want to do differently it's was instead of just instantly making you that the emcee goes to school he joins the club on the first day we wanted to kind of like make him and say orys relationship be more known like their friendship be more known see how they interact show people how they interact with each other so you can really tell okay they're really close friends Plus this story hasn't seen moving back from like moving back into town so I would assume he wouldn't move back the day he has school you would most likely move back a little earlier to where he can like you know get to kind of get his bearings and of course once they Ori would hear about this she would own make plans with him instantly because she said she's his best friend tallest friend yeah yeah I was like that's what we will kind of wanted to do yeah it's a very familiar familiar looking town when I remember exploring when I was younger I quickly noticed a lot of new things since I was last year new shops being renovated and older shops even bought out for no one's supposed explains why haven't built any new parks house we walk and start looking at all the shops and buildings around us meanwhile there his eyes are dead set on the direction she's taking me she must be really excited eventually we stopped in front of a little shop surprisingly no one was in there this is the place definitely looks new my house is back to shop do you come here often yeah me and the rest of the club come here sometimes how usually go by myself though since well I have a bit of a sweet tooth he all right here oh look I put a comma yeah just thanks for uh thanks for grammar shaving me in front of everyone Monica I appreciate cuz if I did it because that typhoon was obvious if I didn't talk about that ever to be like um what is that zero can't live without a die without an eye it's just this oh they're gonna get like a fun fact you're fun fact is this ridiculing me the candy in the shop we didn't get to the cab yet fact is too early Thank You Monica very cool trust me sorry I know in fact probably got worse over the years you won't be wrong it quickly pulls me inside the candy shop no wasting any more time as soon as I walk in my nose is immediately filled with a smell of chocolate honestly I expect it's not like anything else walking around would say or in this place is an interesting feeling just hint of all the sweets around these calming men watching sorry frolic around in the store looking at all the chocolate around there is absolutely adorable wild fun factor we forgot this was a chocolate store back from that one boy in the script it was just a candy store and say or it was just a bunch of candy it was around here but I couldn't find any candy store backgrounds but I could find a chocolate store background so then we had to rename everything to be just being chocolate like but this is a chocolate store with cookies on the right what is that oh okay thought those are cookies on the for girls like chocolate store you have some cookie I guess chocolate chip cookies would count chocolate cookies all I was saying those didn't look like chocolate cookies is like my chocolate chip cookies but some like my half chocolate does count he's like a kid in a candy shop quite literally zero look at this Masseria shows me a section of the store full of chocolate that's shaped like other different foods cheese burgers and hot dogs uh it's definitely interesting not something I would voluntarily eat me neither but they look really cool right yeah yes they do he shows me a few other things she's encountering in the store just a small chocolate marshmallow cats and chocolate disguised look like mushrooms see I looked up Japanese candy and I kept seeing these like mushrooms that was after a bit of searching she finally take their pick and settles on a box of Pocky do you want what to zero yeah sure I could go for some candy grabs a box for me and makes her way towards the counter I pull out my wallet to pay there he suddenly stops me though are you sure zero I should be the one paying for it you just moved here that's fine sorry you're the one showing me around least I can do is pay for your candy well all right let me get the money for the man behind the register geez I didn't think this to make such a dent in my wallet I need to do more cost as it comes to spending money on girls after I'm done hang there and I walk out the door with our snacks thanks for paying zero even though you didn't have to write there's no problem that's a total lie it was a problem my wallet is furious with me that place is really cool right yeah look pretty fancy well keep it in mind never I'm craving some candy I'm glad you took me there and put a smile on my face as I look at her man she reciprocates with a smile there presents the Sun itself if you want to log a bit before we go home sure have some time to kill I missed one word gonna kill me about it I like how you notice too and you didn't even fix it why are you banging on [ __ ] huh I put my water bottles oh no I'm not like having a temper tantrum damn it you're ruining this what's with having a good time that's great if you're having fun but I'm having fine begin to walk around town spawning some of the old places of used to visit it brings like the old days I would play tag would say Orie and chase her through all the passing adults it definitely wasn't the safest thing to do look at sure most fun continue to walk around a bit more eating the treats we bought we looked at the windows and some new shops and glanced and menus belonging to restaurants we might go to the cafe's definitely caught my eye back there oh they have to go there sometime soon my legs get tired old site old sir we're able to cut out for the stuff alright say Ari don't you think it's time to go back home you can Wentz's up on me and then at the bright orange sky as the Sun began to set oh it is getting late huh okay let me get starting back now just meld again but it looked slightly weaker I guess I wasn't the only one getting tired start walking back and eventually make it to our neighborhood the Sun had set and the horizon was lit up by a dark purple followed by the bluish black night sky not a lot of fun today sorry thanks for showing me around it was no problem I loved spending the entire day with you you felt like we were little kids again looks like Sarah's feeling nostalgic as well we were walking around how does something like a kid feel any difference how you feel now oh ha ha very funny I show you around town and this is how you repay me Hey look pay for your candy also I'm really kidding around I don't know what you said really hurt my feelings I think the only way to truly make me feel better is to join the literature Club nice try but I'm still not joining darn it one of our play testers earned he suggested that I add that I add the music to make it seem like it's actually like really she's actually hurt yeah there's gonna be some things you don't know because I had to go in in add potentially I thought I had you very tops of fingers together and pouts in defeat and maybe tired I'm not tired enough to fall for a guilt trip like that especially with that to but thumbs up comfy my bed is tonight sorry giggles then start skipping back to her house she can be really cute sometimes I'm just leaves my size I begin walking the path to my own house I walk into the the lights on a lot of exercise today going walks away more often I go over to the fridge and make myself a quick dinner any butter and jelly sandwich at work I open up the cabinet grab the jar of peanut butter and then walk over to the fridge and get the jelly this move really killed my food supply well I have his bread and instant noodles I got wolf of bread off the top of the fridge and there's only two pieces left I'm stopping on instant noodles after this oh yeah you probably got two but wrong no good even worsse you got a male but sandwich Sam you don't know true pain until you had to make a pot sandwich I really have to go shopping sometime this week actually that could have gone today damn it be myself up for a few minutes over that before heading to my room all right so am i bad to finally arrest my legs today it was nice a lot of walking around nice take a bite of my sandwich or look around with the leftover boxes scattered around in my room scatter about in my room honestly I should probably unpack them but I really need anything from them right now oh there's no rush I finish eating my sandwich and get up to change my clothes I never bought bothered to get actual pajamas since a t-shirt and shorts all I need to be comfortable after changing that clothes I hear a noise outside I turn off my lights so whoever or whatever is down there can't see me so I look out the window to see what's going on what was that it looks like a girl but her face is hidden by something it looks like she's fighting someone her opponent is fast so is she she's dodging every slash he throws out with his pocketknife I'm impressed at all agile she is just more it was a Prasad gel she was after some more ahead y'all movement she used to get fed up with his antics and pulls out a gun I her [ __ ] it loading it up with a round man suddenly stops attacking him bolts running as fast as he can thank God he ran away it appears to look around and then proceeds to zip down the alley well but they she didn't shoot him that's something I really didn't want to see before going to bed I doubt a long sigh I can't believe almost witnessed someone getting shot maybe maybe she had no intention of shooting him maybe it was just the threat to make him back off although I do wonder what that guy did to make them fight there maybe a Marine is all wrong and she's actually the one that started it well this is too much to think about right before bed I should just save her for tomorrow I lay down on my bed and pull the covers over me soon I close my eyes and find myself drifting off to sleep am I my thoughts are hazy then it's pitch black all around me what's going on it's only here at sparkling noise in the distance I try to look around blinded by the darkness to see if I could find any kind of light my eyes desperate to see finally saw something it was quite literally the ball of light twinkling as it hovered in the void they slowly walked over to it it was much closer than it appeared to be without thinking I reached my hand out towards it my body felt like it wanted some kind of hope something to tell me I'm okay and that this blinding void isn't as scary as it's made out to be the life felt warm against my skin it was like touching a fire but without pain the light seemed peaceful and I gripped it into the palm of my hand shut it a few moments past this position my hand grasping the light it then started to shine brightly almost blinding me getting rid of the void before me it took up everything but darkness was not filled with a blinding white light and my skin was blistered and red what's happening to me I feel nothing sure the alarm clock wakes me up with a jump I quickly smacked the button on the top of it to shut it up I looked down to see my body covered in sweat the hell just happened and boom Monday III I wanted that that was the that we felt I felt we felt like that was a good way to start off a day one was the head end day one is with you know a lot of weird stuff happened right when he's about to go to sleep yeah just go to sleep and then you ever just about to go to sleep then you look outside and someone's about to shoot somebody but then they end up not doing it and then when you go and you do go to sleep you have a dream about a ball killing you oh wow you ever just took the ball of light thing never happens to you I never died I'm still here guys you didn't die he's still here we'll see we'll play for like a bit and we might call it a episode that was a dream right and all I remember was grabbing some ball of light in it growing bigger eventually destroying me and I quickly begin to relax just a dream after all like anything actually happened to me everything that covers off my body I got out of bed and begin to stretch there's my first day of school here and I'm starting in the second semester I need to focus on getting ready I slip on my blazer and tie my tie as I walked out the door on my back I make a quick stop at the fridge to get something to eat before I leave I start scanning the inside for anything I could snack on something quick I spawned an apple sitting in the fridge I'm not a big fan of fruit and I guess I've no other choice right now I grabbed the Apple and take it with me outside there's a step outside of my house I hear a familiar voice zero I turn around to see her the voice is coming from nice lonely sea CRE barreling down the street at high speed he stops beside me breathing heavily she started to catch a breath hey I want to walk with you she could barely get that sentence out with how hard she was breathing sure we can walk together the next time until run that much if you can't handle it do it suddenly with a pouty look on her face hey I could totally handle it meanie I began walking forward chuckling to myself what was that I didn't hear you my hand next to my ear for emphasis it's good to know you're still a dummy after all this time the ends are stained with a giggle and receive the walk beside me so are you nervous nervous for what your first day silly oh not really just school I've done this a million times by now I guess you're right he sir ever cease to giggle nervously well how about new people are you excited to meet some I mean that guess it was never one to go out of my way to talk to people so you're just going to wait for them to come up to you well yeah that what everyone does know it so people I know social skills do oh you really need to work on those you know in fact I can even help you I'll pass a Horry normally I need the help right now what sure you do we continued our pointless bickering until we get to school I call it pointless because neither of us ended up backing down until nothing was surely gained from our argument we're both pretty stubborn garage is the first bell rings now see you later zero he says doesn't a very chipper voice yeah sorry my watcher she skips down the hallway towards her class that's one innocent girl and that's we're gonna end the episode no we gotta end it here because I know what's gonna happen next it's good to end it here because I know what's gonna happen
