math question take something you despise multiply it by four make that five homogenize the art style and strip it of its collective substance what do you get a surprisingly enjoyable experience i never knew how much i needed an anime like this until i watched isekai quartet seeing your favorite and sometimes less than favorite characters interact with each other acted as one hell of a stress reliever if you've seen like any of these actually scratch that even if you hate some of these shows like i do watch it anyway it's hard to explain just how fun isakai quartet is without walking you through each scene joke and character moment but god damn it i'll try anyway ever wondered how subaru would react to kazuma's gang you gotta start respecting women okay ever wondered if tonya and einswell gown could get along now you can find out and then some as much as i hate naofami's character seeing the shield wielding in a new environment was refreshing as all hell watching subaru and cosma get along until cosmo learns how cushy subaru has it and then and then he just hates the guy what the hell bruh i'm just subordinates constantly gushing over him for something ultimately mundane i was not expecting to enjoy this as much as i did there isn't much of a story and there doesn't need to be this crossover justifies its own lack of narrative with short 12-minute episodes of non-stop entertainment 8 out of 10. you
