this is the amber Nick retro game console HD game 801 and apparently FPS one to one output whatever that means with game speed it's the system that is pretty much universally known at this point to be what Soulja Boy is selling on his website now this one is not from Soulja Boy's website mostly because I weird that one after we kind of talk on the spawn cast people Austin John plays started to donate and thanks damn I decided to order it and I still have not received any information despite ordering with three days shipping that they make you pay for this I actually got on Amazon for $80 Prime shipped his is back up to $200 then you also have to pay for shipping and today I'm gonna show you why even this one at $80 is a waste of money so I guess we'll start by unboxing the system here it is a very very obvious ripoff of something like an Xbox 1s and it does come with PlayStation controllers or at least look like PlayStation shows what's funny here is this does not even look like the controller completely that's in there and it comes with 800 games that well they don't run the best and because they have frame tearing but but it does come with 800 games that probably are not at all legal because I would be highly doubtful of them being licensed and I'm gonna show you that as well we do some gameplay with this so this just comes out straight up put that to the side and then in the Box you take this out and there's just a mess of controllers and cables below it I also want to point one thing out here after we get our two controllers out we're left with an HDMI cable we're left with an AV set set of AV cables and then we're left with a USB 2 DC plug the thing about this is there is no power adapter esra it doesn't come with a brick of any kind you have to provide your own so for two hundred dollars selling a system that doesn't have a power brick even at $80 that feels like a lot although I get maybe they're just going with the PlayStation Classic you know maybe that's what they're going with some instructions down here as well just explain basic operations to you and that's about it it doesn't really tell you what kind of power cord to use with our power brick I used a 5 volt 2 amp brick that I would use with a Raspberry Pi and it seemed to work fine with no real issues other than the fact of well it doesn't run the best so the system the system is very small it's extremely light on the front we have 2 USB plugs for the controllers we have a power button on and off on the back we have a slot that already has an SD card in it which is a 32 gigabyte SD card that I believe has more roms on it and then we have our DC plug-in AV port and then HDMI and it looks like a reset button there and that's about it for any of the ports now why don't we weigh this thing so I can kind of convey how light this thing is let's get the the scale out over here so you can see for yourself how much this thing weighs in grams there you go 346 grams it's it's it sounds like a lot but for a game console that's not much of anything this is like a heavier controller I guess you'd say in fact here is an Xbox one elite controller with the batteries in and that way 351 grams so there you go it's right there with the Xbox one elite controller for its weight yet it's that light the controllers are obvious ps2 rip offs they look like third-party ps2 controllers and they run the USB the the problem I really have with is this d-pad you know how a ps2 controller it completely rolls does all one piece technically underneath of there these are all separate buttons so I guess to be more similar to something like the joy con controllers where it's just separate buttons but even these don't flow as easily because they're not rounded at all they're just very sharp edges so rolling is very difficult and kind of annoying actually anyway let's go ahead and open up the system just to see just for fun I kind of already have an idea in my mind as to what's gonna be in here just because I've seen inside of some of these like these China knockoff systems that come with a bun of games already built-in use the board as Tiny like way smaller than the plastics that it comes in and usually that's to kind of give you like a perceived value and there we go little puffer skirt a little more uh heavy-duty screws and I thought they would be me honest there's nothing to screw under here to aisle right there so got that screw up and I went out and then it opens up and greets us with yes the very small board it just takes up the one little section right up there kind of reminds me be honest of the at games Sega one that we did remember I open that up and I was a tiny board it just has a little power Elly a power button and led up there that runs to the board through cable and yes this is this is the system here this board comes off this is the power board and AV board here and then the HDMI is directly on board and then we have our USB ports that run to it let's let's take a look at this board actually and see what kind of chips we have here so we have the ATM seven zero one three which is apparently after looking it up appears to be a one core processor so a single core at one point one two one point three gigahertz depending on what they clocked it at from the factory and then it does use ddr3 memory at least it uses something semi current there one gigabyte is on board here and then it's using a Vivante GPU and then they do have four gigabytes of on-board storage with that flash nand I mean honestly looking at this thing it's obviously used for like those cheaper tablets it's passively cooled there's no fan and looking at this even on the bottom here it's printed with TV box version one or two point one which means this these are probably the same boards that you would find in those little like media boxes you can buy from China that are passively cooled very tiny and you would use to watch like a medium stuff on this would probably work just to watch like you know video off of a USB flash drive or something but even on the box it shows that it supports 720p I have no idea where that 4k logo is coming from or why it's on there this is a very very cheaply made board that's pretty weak as well so I'm gonna put this thing back together and then why don't we see what exactly is on here because I'm sure we wouldn't have anyone selling anything that has you know Nintendo games on it or anything okay so we're playing the system that Soulja Boy is dropshipping and right away this is the screen you're met with it says 4k on the box however this doesn't look 4k so I I don't see any way to alter that either as there is a menu that just gives you language options that's the only thing I can do actually here everything else is a selection of what system you would like to play and considering the front of the box at 800 games I assume each one of these selections already have games pre-loaded which is obviously an issue because if this is what Soulja Boy is dropshipping as we pretty much know it is at this point considering it's from the same company and it pretty much is the exact same box he's gonna be in a bit of a bit of issue there with the wall so let's let's go through here I may be very careful about any games that I play as well because I mostly want to only play games that I actually own in my collection as I can say oh it's a backup but anyway this is a plug and play system that you can buy on Amazon for $8 and Soulja Boy's is no longer on sale that's over 200 now so let's see what that would get you let's go over to NES game ok you're greeted right away with Super Mario Bros and then two in the three Super Mario 14 Super Mario Bros 2 a lot of in Tendo stuff as you would figure okay there's contra and Nintendo's pretty serious about their pirated about their games being pirated by people and then selling them we've seen it already with several places getting sued now this company of course is like out of China and that's a whole thing to try to to try to figure out and I get that they're probably able to sell it at a China because of how all that goes and in tenders probably not even thinking about China in terms of pirated systems since these are all over Aliexpress but once you have someone like like Soulja Boy start to sell these you kind of run into issue so there's NES games Game Boy Advance well I have I'm on camera the Pokemon firered so maybe we'll check that out I already started a game with it just to get past the opening part yep a lot of games a lot of roms obviously they're all there's Mishka that's a good game link to the past also a good game Castlevania yeah Wow okay here's there's a lot of games on here let me let me fire up fire red just to see what the fusions good to I have that one as well alright so I'm moving around and the emulation is not it's not good a lot it you could probably already see it just moving do you see that the frame tearing right now that the frame tearing is insane like it is so noticeable it's a lot of stuttering this is a gameboy advance is hit or miss when it comes to emulation it's obviously not as good as like Gameboy NES room in Super Nintendo this is really bad though it's very very poor I don't think saving works because I had tried this before and I saved and I just had to start a new game so there you go I guess it doesn't save I think you have to go in and go to a save game here and actually make a save state and that's how they have it set up so you would have to do that but the emulation here is very very poor just from what I'm seeing oh boy Super Nintendo games this will go I don't see any I don't see 1864 stuff so they have they have Nintendo Game Boy Advance game boy color Game Boy Mega Drive or Genesis Super Nintendo Master System Game Gear Playstation one which is interesting SD card which is in there and the arcade set up along with Neo Geo so they have everything pretty much up to the PlayStation 1 and not the Nintendo 64 Super Nintendo has again a lot of Nintendo stuff is on here if if this indeed is what soldier boy is shipping which we all pretty much know it is at this point considering he even put the company's name in there and use all of their screenshots and all of their description that's gonna be a problem let's see what do i what do I own in here that I can let's say Oh medal wars awesome I think it's not hard to find that's a really good game battletoads that's a good one too is Mega Man III have Mega Man X let's is there a Mega Man X in here I think there is I'm pretty sure there is a Mega Man X in here past it actually let's see like the past Oh Rahman that's how yeah they have another rock man okay rock man X let's go ahead and load this up see what the emulations like with with a Super Nintendo game if it's similar to what we just saw with the Gameboy dance there's a lot of frame tearing frame tearing is like the worst thing when it comes to emulation let's say jump in there fortunately it starts up pretty quick so we'll actually be playing right oh ok we go so it's definitely not 4k obviously I think we all figured that it's okay yeah frame tearing you can see it right there on the bottom real bad it's so noticeable - I get the frame tearing is so noticeable otherwise the the frame rate seems alright but it's definitely not set up well there's no filters obviously there's nothing for display options I feel like they just put 4k on the front of the box because some people might not be able to tell and it works well - just put that on the back on the front of your box I don't really know what the one-to-one game thing is either because the screen tearing is not good and that's I guess what you could say oh it's the it's it's completely V synced and everything there's no notice frame tearing bad look at that pillar down there and let me move oh man that is that's hard to look at you know I'm definitely curious how a PlayStation 1 game plays and okay is s soccerpro that's a lot well they also have an SD card Oh ps1 oh so they just probably say showing games on the SD card alright well do they have any of the crash bandicoot games on here I've mega man x6 I can play that uh what do I have here I've Castle me okay let's crash pretty good - okay boom let's get in there I so fun if I stacked as well it's a great game that I also have over there but let's let's do some crash bandicoot is that's a game a lot of people would want to play so fuck yeah so far it looks alright I mean it looks as good as a placement if this plays better than the PlayStation 1 classic that's gonna be really funny new game let's say I'll see how it looks cuz yeah ok so far it looks better than air still frame to air still some tearing it looks better than the PlayStation 1 classic at least it's actually has games a lot of people want to fly unfortunately it's it's fairly illegal but they are there I wonder if so you would be interested in this box as well in terms of legal action I don't know because now it's become semi mainstream online let me let me get past this part and we can move around I'm the frame rates fine seems it seems good there let me jump into this part and I will be able to run right through a level or part of a level and just just to see how it how it plays I mean it looks it looks better than the PlayStation one classic does on my screen oh man at that moment when you realize Chinese knockoff system with poor emulation is playing better than the PlayStation 1 classic that's kind of sad actually how did Sony not hire these guys do the plays anyone classic so I will admit the PlayStation 1 emulation is actually not bad it's working better than I thought it would it's playing off that SD card I guess that's in there still though I feel like they don't have the rights to do this it's gonna be interesting when Soulja Boy system does show up if it ever shows up because if it's it's probably this and if it is a Nintendo or oh man what if Nintendo ordered one of these and they're like let's see what happens when we get it if we have a case because member Sony bought a system off of someone on eBay that was hacked and then they had proof that the person was selling a hacked system that ladies gentlemen and Bernick retro HD game 801 device that is pretty much being dropped shipped by Soulja Boy I don't wonder if he understands the implications of all of the games that are on here and what he's selling while he's not advertising the 801 games on his site at this time he's not have these on sale anymore so there's still $200 and he is even saying the company's name directly next to it he has Soulja Boy or Soulja game X and burnick so he at least knows what they're selling he's using all the same screenshots everything so I don't know what's going on over there or why he's doing this but this could get him into some severe legal trouble especially after he was flashing the kind of money he was making think about Nintendo and Sony going after people on eBay selling one or two playstation fours or Nintendo switch systems with games on it this has a lot of Nintendo's library on there so we'll see what happens but I wouldn't be shocked if all of a sudden soldier boy starts pulling these down and I honestly don't think he's even gonna ship this out to me so if he does I'll take a look at it I'll put it on Twitter and say yep they're the same but I I honestly don't think he's going to ship it to me no shipping information has been sent to me I talked to other Creators who also bought one Nunn sent to them either some are you already going through PayPal to get their money back so obviously don't buy one of these don't even buy this for $80 it's a retro a Raspberry Pi is stronger than this and it has a lot more support so look into one of those and it's cheaper thanks guys for watching you enjoyed the
