Sony Vegas Pro: MP4/AVI CODEC/ FILE OPENING ERROR FIX [2022 WORKING]

[Music] kids of these last week's Lutz trip over the almonds all over first can't be the best love what I'm saying gets not skip from the fumble so since a lot of people got the problem that they want to import the AVI file into Sony Vegas or it might even show you that it is an mp4 file but it still doesn't work like in this case this is an mp4 file but when you try to import it into your Sony Vegas it is just not going to let you even if you click open right here choose your file it's going to tell you warning an error occurred while opening one or more files the file is most likely corrupted or of an unknown format so what you want to do then is you want to download this program right here it is called handbrake you can get it for free on the internet just type in handbrake you can download it from their official website or from chip which is a good website for downloading stuff so once you've done that click on sewers file open your file that you want to import it into Sony Vegas this one right here for example it's an mp4 file want to have the output set to mp4 so yeah choose your destination I'm just going to put it on my desktop so once you've done that you can just click start one more tip if you want to make your video a smaller doesn't need to be an intro or something just degrade the quality by going right here but makes the number higher and you can also just gonna put it back and change the audio to mp3 and 200 556 so well yeah that's going to make the video much smaller so here once you've done everything you wanted click start it's going to take some some time depending on how big your file is you can close handbrake and there you go just going to compare these two in terms of quality they converged fine so you won't really see a difference because there is none so yeah once you've gotten your converted file right here just imported into Sony Vegas it's just going to work perfectly fine so yeah so yeah I had problem before also so just after I found out it's working with handbrake I wanted to show you guys this because I'm pretty sure more people got this problem and I've seen a lot of tutorials showing you how to download something like exit this might work for some people but yeah I thought the method with handbrake was much easier so yeah hope you guys enjoyed this little tutorial and see you guys in the next one
