Sonic Generations BUT it's Mario 64 (STREAM 1)

hey guys title is correct i'm playing mario 64 in sonic generations the whole goal of today is that we're gonna play through the entire game uh or at least try i don't know if it's possible on the mod page somebody said that they were able to do it but they had no proof so i don't exactly believe them and i don't think i've seen anyone talk about it uh the creator of this mod just to speed run through this because i want to make sure to credit him uh with skype we're just talking about him off recording skype right here obviously same guy same person i don't know their pronouns uh same person who made uh the sonic first person mod for sonic generations so credit to skype if you want to try this out for yourself you can just look up sonic generations mario 64 mod on google it's on game banana uh or you can just go to skype's twitter and scroll down you'll you'll find it eventually uh i don't know if this is possible but the main goal is that we're gonna beat the entire game every level and every boss fight in the game and see if we can do it i genuinely don't think it's actually possible but we're gonna try uh i don't know how many streams this is gonna take this is probably gonna be a series uh but yeah so without further ado we are going to hop in in just a second in just a moment a moment a second even i'm gonna stall until i post the tweet that i'm streaming about to blow your dick off and if you don't have a dick uh get a temporary one this is sonic generations with mario from mario 64. my penis is gone it's mario he has no boost it's literally mario from mario 64. when i say like i'm i'm gonna show you guys this is legitimately just it's just mario for mario 64. he's not modified in any way like i'll show you this on green hill look at this so he starts running fast right but that's just like the default run for that start of the level look at this [Music] it's literally mario he has the long jump the control scheme is exactly the same as it is in mario 64. he has the punches and the kicks the camera doesn't really like it that much but literally it's just it's just mario for mario 64. that's all it is and as you may have noticed he has a normal running speed now thankfully he does have one upgrade you can put on the wing cap and you can fly so if there's any section that we can't get over because we need like uh if there's any section that we can't get over for whatever reason like this we could just use the wing cap and then just jump over it float over so the main goal with this is to beat the entire game every level so first we're gonna quit the stage and i'm actually what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna exit the game and i'm gonna see if i can go to options and just turn down the effects because mario's a bit loud and see if that helps are you going to fight bosses that's the plan there we go genuinely it's just mario it's literally just mario okay we're gonna start with this classic sonic levels you didn't think that we were gonna do the classic sonic levels we are we are all right level one so you guys are gonna love this the way that you beat badniks you have to like punch them or dive into them was there a red ring back there i want to get that [Music] so yeah mario goes at the speed that you would think he would so a lot of this is gonna be me diving as you will soon see and me putting on the wing cap oh [ __ ] yeah so this is gonna be very fun oh excellent also he can crawl so here we go don't worry we'll we'll get there eventually guys no worries okay back to crawling yo lab fox thank you for the subs and mario scream um i mean yeah oh my god what is happening a lot of diving is going to be happening during this again genuinely i don't know if the entire game is completable like this but i'm gonna try regardless i'm the man with the plan i'm going to try yeah go mario go you did not have enough speed for that one sadly what's great about this is that the mod is so accurate that it actually [ __ ] you over sometimes like look at this i i can't i can't do this genuinely i think i might be stuck already [ __ ] yeah i think i'm stuck already apparently somebody did do it somebody somebody did do this so it is possible we might have to start over i'm gonna see if i can speedrun this as much as i can you're gonna be hearing a lot of mario just like going like wow some levels are just impossible well most are actually really excellent well i guess we'll figure it out yeah i see i literally can't even do that loop thankfully there's no fall damage like mario will act like there's fall damage there's not you can hold the jump button and keep kicking to get up slopes really well i can't try that now i'll try that next time there we go tunnel time the wheel baby this is how mario will find sonic when both movies cross over yeah this is what it's going to look like so yeah yeah so stuff like the backwards long jump is still in the game like you can you can backwards long jump like if you're on the correct type of slope you can like every single part about this is like emulated almost perfectly genuinely it's it's kind of it's kind of insane there we go oh here it is okay i'm gonna try to float over this easy easy okay now we crawl skype is very goaded yeah no scythe is very much like he's very good at what he does or what they do dammit excellent here we go so like mario can get up them stuff like that though on the other hand i do not think i can but i can just fly all over all this oh there we go booing dive okay how are we going to do this how do we apparently if you hold the bumpers that's what people were saying with the bumpers earlier i i didn't understand what they meant if you hold on to the bumpers you turn into 3d mode and you can bypass the invisible wall so the level is still completable so that's a thing they're very good for me to know actually thanks chad for the first time ever you're like actually helpful oh oh there we go thank god so that is extremely helpful i'm sure i can use that to cheese some sections i told you to use wallhack salty i didn't i didn't know i didn't know you could even do that [Music] wow modder got the gameplay going i'm gonna tell you guys uh an interesting story that happened to me now i'm not gonna dwell on this because i really i really don't but a while ago on twitter i said that i had an interesting announcement coming up that i was really excited about um i was very very excited about it it was something that i couldn't i couldn't talk about at first because it was like they were still working on it and technically i am still affiliated with the project but uh the circumstances are quite different basically i was affiliated with a project where i was a voice actor and one of the big reasons i was so excited is because i was going to be acting alongside a very specific person and i could not have been more excited uh that specific person was going to initially be christine weston chandler now mind you all of this happened literally a week before recent events before the quote unquote incident happened i was going to voice act alongside christine in a project i was very excited about it literally a week week week week or two literally a week or so after christine is trending on twitter and i'm like oh interesting that's pretty cool i wonder what's going on uh and then i see what's going on if you don't know what happens feel free to google it i'm not gonna talk about it here um because it's uncomfortable so if you want to know how that project's going it's currently dead in the water unless they find somebody else i'm not gonna say what the project is or who is working on it um and it probably never will out of out of respect for them because they they're working hard on stuff but i'm just saying like there there'll probably be stuff that comes out now that i'm in and be like was this the thing was this a thing no it wasn't guaranteed but yeah so um i went from being insanely excited to be in this like really cool project uh to essentially being like being like okay now i don't even want i don't even want to do this anymore i don't want to do this anymore so yeah you can imagine my luck what was the person's name salty christine weston chandler my friend trust me if you don't know who christine is it's okay also i just uh i [ __ ] up yeah i am uh inside of the thing okay yeah if you're not familiar with christine uh don't worry you don't need to be i'm stuck down here i i literally can't get out there's got to be an opening in the geometry i can escape from so um yeah that that was a thing so essentially from now on if i'm ever excited about a project i probably will not talk about it because i feel like i'm a major [ __ ] jinx whenever i talk about something i'm excited about christine is in chris chan yes i thought i made that obvious but apparently i did not i'm gonna have to start over again unless like there's a way to kill myself i'm literally stuck so yeah i'm gonna have to start over sadly um oh i still have the perks on so yeah moving on from that now that people know i was i was extremely close to being a part of cristory i'm very glad i wasn't and you know what like i'm sure there's probably going to be people that are like like yeah he's probably like lying he doesn't even cite what what the project was i'm never going to you can feel free to believe me or you could feel free to not believe me i don't care i don't want to be involved i'm just letting people know who are like what happened to that project you were excited about never ended up happening there we go god got a first time oh yeah so what else how can i even follow up from that story like how can i like literally nothing i say after that how was the sonic movie uh i think i talked about it a couple of times already but sonic 2 was good no spoilers here don't worry um it was it was pretty good i had my gripes with it but like it was overall a pretty fun movie what the dog doing ah that's a great question ah mods ban that person just i just love seeing mario fall there's something funny about mario falling salty my dog is the entire month and then apparently they got mad because they joked about that but then they were like but but you're wrong because at the end of the month like he did end up donating a large portion of money and i'm like okay yeah that's great but like he's still [ __ ] up like keep imagine if i [ __ ] did that right we could [ __ ] imagine imagine if i did that i was like yeah i'm gonna donate all my youtube revenue uh to lgbtq charities and then i didn't post like the entire month i feel like people would genuinely cancel me even if i did end up donating like a sizeable amount you know there is something blocking you like the star door that or if it's like the infinite staircase because the way that those segments are programmed that's how the backwards long jump like it lets you glitch through you can't just backwards long jump on any slope it has to be a very specific slope what about the regular long jump i mean it's there you just saw me do it it doesn't work okay let me rephrase because people are gonna [ __ ] quote me on that now it only works in specific places not necessarily when something's in front of you but like [ __ ] are gonna be like oh soldier doesn't collapsing path problem is there's a big invisible trigger that if you touch it will activate the path to collapse here's what i'm gonna do okay yes you still need the wing cap what the [ __ ] maybe you already knew that trick with the wing cap and rail grinding this exploit yes not a glitch is possible because the height you get from the wing cap is calculated by how fast mario is moving that means basically if you would wouldn't lose speed somehow while flying okay well i couldn't read that that means that basically if you wouldn't lose speed somehow while flying you would get unlimited height what the [ __ ] in this situation rail grinding gives mario the necessary speed he needs to bypass the loading trigger and just walk all the way to the top what holy [ __ ] whoa sadly you still need the wing cap to complete this level but it's way more fun to play it like this instead of skipping everything maybe it's possible to backwards long jump through the wall somewhere and bypass the loading trigger that way but i didn't look into it yet and yeah there it is that's the end of the level okay so we know we have to do thank you extremely specific youtube video with total views oh my works is that the fight against metal sonic is an infinitely looping raceway so it goes around in a circle right the falling platforms behind you are just an illusion they respawn when you run back around in the circle if you can jump over the death plane high enough and hit the invisible versions of the platforms behind the falling platforms then you can land on them and just loop around the entire level and then kill metal sonic if that sounds insane yes it is how the [ __ ] did anybody figure this out i need to see this full but before i even attempt to try this i just i need to watch and see this i just i'm baffled i don't even think i can execute this at least you can kind of take your time after a certain point oh my god this person actually has every stage beat really this is
