SonarQube installation with 2 different Java JDKs version...!!!

hello guys welcome back to my YouTube channel so in today's video I'm going to show you how you can easily install Ed JD case I've been receiving a lot of requests of how to install sonar give it to different jdks so as you know sonar Cube requires Java jdk 11. but if you have a different uh jdk installed in our system then I'm going to show you how you can install sonorative with that okay so if you are new to this channel kindly like share and subscribe my channel so here we start so first we are going to download and install the Java JD case so let me just show you how you can easily install it so we have to go to the Java jdk site and here we have to download the Java jdk so I'm downloading Java jdk 19. and at the end we have to download the Java jdk 11 which is required so click on the Java jdk site and install download the uh MSA so here you have to provide the details for the Oracle account so if you don't have any an oracle account then you can create a new one and download the setup so I have already created account so I have downloading it now and it's almost done okay downloading is done so we are now quickly installed it and one more thing Let me just show you how can you can how you can easily install download the sonar Cube so go to the sonar Cube site and download the Community Edition so I have already downloaded sonar Cube in my system so I'm not going to download it again so first we can use we are installing Java jdk 19. Okay click next next and install okay 19 is installed and 11 we are going to install and we have to set the environment variable also also in the system so we can let me just first install both then we will set it okay Java jdk 11 is also installed so we have to go to the program files in C drive and locate the Java folder and now we have we are choosing we are copying the path and open the system environment variables we have to put this variable name Java underscore home and paste distance here now we have to copy the bin path paste it in the path click ok do the same thing for the other Java jdk let me just quickly do that okay so now both Java jdks is installed and path set in a system environment variable so if you run the Java version it will pick up the JavaScript 19. okay because we have set the Java Home Path too 19. so let's just extract the downloaded folder of sonarq first and once it will be extracted then we have to copy and paste it into the C drive let me just paste it into the seat refers now open the folder go to the bin folder and select windows and double click on start sonar so as you can see it is throwing an error and it will close automatically it means it is not installing in your system so what you have to do we have to go to the program files copy the Java bin path Java 11 Pin path actually and again go to the sonar queue go to config folder and you can see wrapper here open it with Notepad and here you can have you have to change some settings here so let me just follow the steps here we have to paste it in the report.java.com and save it and close that now again go to the bin folder and windows and run as admin starts on our patch file so now it will pick up the Java jdk as your Java JD case 11. and as you can see the first time we have run it then it will automatically close and now you can see it is now installing in our system because we have set the path for Java jdk 11. so the installation will be done in some time okay now the sonar Q is installed and it is up now so we have to go to the browser to check open Google Chrome and here we have to access the localhost 9000. see it will ask you for the login credential type admin and admin is the password default password is admin also so at first it will ask you to create a new password for your account so let me just create it quickly and see sonar cube is up and running so you see how easily you can install this on RK fit two different Java jdks and if you have any question you can ask me in the comment section and if this video might help you then you can like share and subscribe thank you
