all right hello everyone hope you're all doing well recently got a question from livid put it up on the screen right now as you can tell they're frustrated because they only have 90 FPS that they can get up to on their emulator they want to know how I can get up to 120 FPS a little known fact that I didn't actually know until I was able to determine my in-game refresh rate with uh game Loop users what you can do is you can go up here to tool set and you can go up to show FPS so you can either toggle this on or off um that I didn't realize that emulator people could actually get 120 FPS almost a year or two before it was available on the mobile devices so we had a little bit of an advantage there however if you don't have the correct settings it's unfortunately very unstable so a few a few things you have to realize in order to get 120 FPS on this game in reality you do not need a fantastic computer to run this emulator in my opinion I know I complained about it a lot in the past if you have decent settings it's not a horrendous emulator it really um it's it's quite user friendly there are a lot of settings guides and actually there's a official Discord server which I've used in the past a few times uh where you can ask questions and just get customer support if you have any more detailed questions that you cannot find on the internet however there are a few things that a lot of the videos online that I've watched over the years to try to get my settings the best have not really covered and it's more of I get one or two useful tips from whatever five videos so I have to watch five videos in order to learn five things so in this video what I'm trying to do is trying to I guess summarize everything that I've learned over my four years of using the gam Loop emulator actually a little bit longer um due to the fact that I used to play pubg on this as well before codm was out so first of all if you're playing on PC you need to realize that your refresh rate put it up on the screen right now mine is 165 for my display which means I will in real time get 165 FPS on my screen in real time if you have a 60 refresh rate monitor even though you have anything above 60fps truly you're only getting 60 FPS because that's what the refresh rate is captured at so or Limited at excuse me I have 165 this is obviously 120 so I can have 120 FPS truly so that's the first thing you're going to want to check if you're on PC I do not know for iPads iPhones or any other devices you can probably look it up on Google possibly in the settings it will have the actual refresh rate I know some gaming phones actually are able to have up to 120 um 60 or what not so those are a little more pricey however I would definitely check that first because that's the only way you'll truly know if you can get 120 FPS the next thing is obviously a graphics card can you play the emulator without a graphics card and technically use something like an Intel integrated Graphics yes however you are going to be very limited on performance so so if you have a set apart graphics card like I do RTX 360 anything anything lower you obviously don't have to have um an RTX graphics card to run this I believe it's a GTX um 1020 1030 um I might check uh later in the video when I go over the settings but you don't need a fantastically great graphics card to run this at 120 um FPS but definitely having a set alone or a separate graphics card rather than an integrated graphics card to your processor is definitely a huge plus a few of the other things that you can try it won't help you get 120 FPS but it will uh speed up your emulator is this little lightning um click to accelerate button I didn't know what this did at first but if you click it on game Loop emulator what it basically does is it helps clear up memory that you don't need it says that the game experience has improved is that always true Maybe um however doing this regularly maybe I don't know once or twice every time you open up the emulator just I guess helps it keep it pretty speedy and um best performing as possible now getting into more of the game Loop settings and whatnot what you can do um I have it already open but to access this tab you're going to go to these three bars up here the menu and then you're going to click settings you're going to get also this looking um basic basically background settings menu these are mine I'm not going to go through them individually just to save you time um I believe the default is auto run at startup which simply means every time you turn on your device um it will start at game Loop automatically I don't really want that so obviously it's personal preference and then these are my um appropriate settings for my district and whatnot in language engine highly recommend direct X openg GL I've had a lot of stability problems however I do know that device to two device it does depend so I would personally recommend DirectX but you know obviously um if it does not work try these settings and also look at other videos uh you know if if unfortunately I'm not able to help you as much so these are the settings I kind of maxed them out the anti-aliasing this kind of just makes your game look pretty or whatnot I have it on uh excuse me I have it off um due to the fact that it just performs better with it off the memory um you can look up a video I apologize I don't want to get the information wrong I believe it has something to do with the calculating of half of your RAM um in megabytes I believe it is so definitely um very easy lookup processor as well there different cores I have a 16 core processor um Intel processor so I'm able to run eight if you have eight obviously do four half of that my native um resolution definitely um whatever your native resolution for your monitor or devic is I would uh definitely select that here screen DPI I really I'm I'm sorry I don't know what this means I know for a DPI with a mouse it's the Sensitivity I just always Max it out and it sounds good I apologize doesn't sound good always performs good um what I meant to say I was looking here at audio channel is I don't know the difference between these two I'm trying direct sound and I'm also trying wave out you know um in between every game if one is better than the other please obviously let me know down below but so far I don't really know the difference I I don't notice a huge difference so right now I just have it on direct sound um but obviously if there's a large difference that you notice or um you find out please either let me know or obviously change it to the right one for the model um I believe this is uh the Z so that's Z 01 D um I actually just recently redownloaded the game Loop emulator and had to reset everything I do apologize and that's really why I haven't posted any of the videos um two days ago yesterday and um today I will be posting um some videos but due to internet issues and very unfortunate um game Lube crashing and the app not working properly for the last two days really been frustrating so this is what I usually um use as a phone model I guess and it works very well the one key configuration I believe it just goes to Common model rog2 that also does work but I don't think it really makes a difference but I might be wrong obviously if I am wrong please let me know in the comments with your game I don't know why uh it was a 1060 I'm sorry um that's what I was trying to think about the graphics card earlier I don't know why if you have it at 2K and HD that is where you're able to unlock 120 FPS if you have it at 1880p or 720p you still will have 120 FPS but it's a lot more unstable I really do not know why the graphics quality is really where I was confused for a while and this might be what some people are doing that might unfortunately mess them up um if you have it on automatic which I believe is the default this will limit you to I believe 60 or 90 FPS if you have it on automatic smooth or balanced no idea why HD is the only setting that allows you to have 120 FPS really no idea why but that's what I found out obviously if you change anything um just hit save and that will affect your emulator if you don't notice the changes I would just simply restart your emulator see if that helps now into the in-game settings simply go up to this little um box up here really what you're going to want to focus on is your frame rate and your graphics quality the frame rate adjustment I have noticed has helped if you have it enabled and maxed out however having it off will also allow you to have 120 FPS obviously change settings as appropriate if you're having problems or frame um I guess problems for lack of a better word um and fluctuation and whatnot really you don't need to go above medium um you can have it low I just have it medium because I post my recording and I'd like it to at least not look like it was you know a horrendous recording quality so I have it on medium high and very high they just make your game unstable and they they don't honestly look fantastic or look so much better so I don't think it's worth it the frame rate however if you have it on anything other than Ultra you will not get 120 FPS so I I have it on very high or Max you can see this is is actually disabled so if you have it an ultra then you're able to um enable the frame rate adjustment I'm not sure why it's just how um the game is made I don't believe this affects at all the frame rate or your performance I think it's just how the game looks I prefer dynamic because everything's brighter and it's a little bit easier to see um enemies in my opinion but you know obviously it's all preference-based for these settings I really would try to disable everything that you don't need um these are just more of uh bells and whistles and making your game look better and they do take more resources and more of your bandwidth so I would really only enable realistic scope but you don't even have to have that enabled all the way down at the bottom this is something I really don't see a lot of people talking about are these two settings um this is newer but the Shader preload has actually been in the game for quite a while if you start this um I'll just I don't have to start because I actually did one about an hour ago so I would do this about maybe uh every week maybe every two weeks or if you're really excuse me if you're really noticing that this helps but unfortunately the game starts getting laggy after a day or two or whatnot do it as often as you um honestly need to it just I guess preloads all of these smaller details for the game so you're device doesn't have to live load that when you're in game and it takes less stress off of your processor and graphics card after that you're going to have to restart your emulator and uh hopefully the changes will help you super resolution really this makes everything better basically at just um increasing resolution of graphics and then it also says um increase battery consumption and battery overheating I have a PC so I really don't have to worry about a battery but obviously for laptops this could cause a lot more stress and you could have your jet engine fan um activated so one of the other things I have uh notes Here on my phone sorry just making sure I didn't forget anything is the um program it's called PC manager this is something you have to download separately it's free online this is just a program that I can recommend that I've actually been using for about two years now about a year and a half and all it really does is it just helps your memory it just cleans everything you can also see you have processes running you have your startup apps you can have your overall health check and then obviously your storage management if you just hit boost gets R of temporary files helps remove a little bit of memory usage I have 32 gigabytes of um 3600 speed um forget the name of the ram I'm sorry but basically Ram um and memory so I have a very very nice setup for this and it does very well however still I use the uh cleanup tool just because I feel like it does help in um some ways whatnot really that's um I would say most of it other than making sure to download 100% of your game if you have the space especially for the emulator especially for the emulator I know unfortunately this game does take up a lot of space for mobile devices if you have the St uh the space and the storage definitely recommend putting it at 100% it just seems to smooth out performance overall I'm not sure if it limits the 120 FPS but definitely overall game performance it does help I guess one other thing I could talk about I have ethernet I don't have Wi-Fi I don't have anything Wireless for my setup which means everything is directly wired in to my router to my mother board to the servers and whatnot that I get my internet from WiFi if you are I guess half the house away um if you're on a hot spot the more Wireless things you have the more unstable I guess you could say your internet becomes so definitely with overall game performance and stability highly recommend um Ethernet or being able to plug into a router um and just really limiting the overall latency of your I guess internet connection to your device um really I don't want to take up much more of your time I think that's really I've covered most of everything that I've learned over the years I really hope this helped if it didn't however um honestly I I don't know everything you know so if there is something I missed if there's something you recommend for me honestly it's still it runs decently well it runs decent well enough that I'm comfortable with recording my gameplay and sharing it with you all number one um thank you so much I believe I'm at 31 subscribers already and a thousand overall Channel views so that's that's awesome that's crazy to me so thank you thank you truly from the bottom of my heart for all your support and time and willingness to you know deal with my early stages of posting content and trying to become a better uh I guess would really say influencer um but content creator uh so definitely thank you thank you if you have any recommendations of hey some shy guy we need to have um live streams we need to have more funny content we need to have specific gun builds specific uh BR recommendations for classes I know I made a class and mod um video it's cool I can say this for the first time I will link that video in the description if you uh miss that for more detailed uh information and and tips and tricks from my experience in my opinion on BR mods and classes but I guess this really concludes the overall performance and how to unlock 120fps on the emulator video I do overall hope this helped just explain some of the settings and I guess was a condensed guide for you um for the emulator game Loop so thank you very much for your support and your time thank you very much and take care
